The sculpting and painting with engobes and underglazing done! I did some painting on coral olly!🦑🐋😏 I did the body with some yellow and orange engobes and now I just need to add a little red, white and black for the eyes, and then I might add some purple if I can make any. Its been a few days since break in happened and I just wanted to say i’m doing well! 😊 everyone has recovered a bit from the shock! And we finally managed to clean up most of the glass and organise a lot! So we can sculpt again!!🥳🎉 OH AND!!! we found a way to fix kira!!! 🎉🎉 and I am gonna post that here once thats done cause it really will definitely make the piece SO much more special...😏💙💙 you’ll see soon! 😉 So everything is going a lot better! And since now we got a lot more space anyway so its time to do some more sculpting tomorrow! :D🙌🎊 And I’ve been working on this big guy for the past few days at work for my dad! :D its a coastal coral reef olly in Sarra-Nitootoe! 🌊😎🌴☀️ idea was by @aberrantartist !! :D go check her out she’s awesome!!👀 My dad needed a big sea themed creature that can sit on the counter of the desk in his new swim and dive school calypso sport! Its gonna be filled with small sugar bags for coffee! :D So this is gonna be awesome! OLLY IS FINISHED!!!👏👏🎉🎉 I kept forgetting to post the all mighty alien goofball olly!!😂🤦‍♀️ so here is the little goofball! And I love him very much.👌🏻👌🏻😔✨💫💖💖 I used night moth glaze, and transparent glaze for the eyes. And for the engobes I used petrol, white, and black engobes. And I’m quite happy with the results! 😊 A little info about olly’s species: These small round little critters go around on the planet Sarra-Nitootoe. They mostly go around in small packs of 4/6. There habitat is all over the planet, the dead desert, the small forests consumed bu very tall trees that exist in all kinds of different colours, the tall mountains with all kinds of rare crystals that grows there. with the pitch black snow on the tops of the mountains. These creatures are very good at camouflaging. Depending on where they live, they’re in all different colours and patterns to protect them from predators. (Like the sand stalkers) they’re herbivores, and find food in the ground. They dig with there big feet in the ground looking for fruits and vegetables. There very conscious about everything looking around for danger with there many eyes. YO I’M BRINGING MORE OF OLLY’S SPECIES!!!🙌🙌🌊🐙 THIS IS A COOKIE JAR!!!😍🍪🍪AND I FINALLY SHARED SOME OF MY JUST FINISHED SCULPTURES AT WORK!! :D🎉🎉🎊 AND NOW I JUST GONNA FIGURE OUT HOW TO OPEN HIM AGAIN🤣 I put wax resist on the mouth so not everything is stuck but the glaze just leaked a tiny bit, but I might still get it open with some special equipment to do no damage. 😄💞 But here’s one of the olly species! Its an ocean olly!! :D his tiny little tentacles will move him forward in the same waters the sea cow lives in on Sarra-Nitootoe. And what ever else may live in these waters? We don’t know just yet...we do know these cute little guys can go really deep underwater without the water pressure crushing them even when there going up fast. Cause when there’s visitors around, they don’t mind swimming that long to greet the newcomers and hug there legs.
