YagaKimi is very frustrating because it’s so good, the character writing is so good, it’s a genuine lesbian story that neither drowns you in gay angst nor pretends gay people are 100% accepted in society, but oh boy, every aro/ace person I knew read the first chapters and was like “that’s me!” and that sure did not pan out at all, and the one canon aro character sucks (even if he gets better), which is like... almost insulting? Accidentally, of course, but oof. I can’t really get angry at this story because it’s that well done, but I’m still disappointed, in part *because* it’s otherwise that well done (Maki feels like a concession, but a very bad one). So yeah, my feelings will remain complicated

But bless this doujinshi circle I randomly found that publishes SayaYuu fanfics. Thank you for service, don’t let anyone stop you

Yuko attempted to sadistically/playfully hit Sayaka back while the latter tries to get a closer look at the First Class’s fancy meal, but she accidentally hits Sayaka in the eye a bit hard.

Ouch... Poor Sayaka.

Aw but I think you can barely catch a glimpse of Yuko reaching to Sayaka in the end, probably wanting to apologize for hitting her.

When Yuko became nervous before she’s about to sing her solo for Kouhaku Utagassen in 2011, her shinyuu Sayaka was there to give some encouraging words.
