strawberry blond | pjm.
Tumblr media
pairing. jimin x female! reader
genre/prompt. jimin takes a lot of photos; established relationship
word count. 1.3k
content.  some mature language I guess but other than that its just cute married fluff with shy lil minnie!!
synopsis. You always wondered what was in those photo albums, but he was willing to let you into his world at his own pace.
writer’s note. written for the BTS Ghostie Writers Net’s writing bingo! this was the easiest prompt to come up with acc but it’s my favorite :)) I listened to strawberry blond by mitski while writing this!
-o-
Your ears perked up at the sound of a camera shutter, the book you were holding releasing you from its firm grasp on your consciousness. You were so immersed in your reading you didn’t even notice the dip in the mattress before the shutter went off. Looking up from your momentary source of joy you look at the culprit, your permanent source of joy, the blond boy with a glinting silver wedding band on his ring finger. He slowly lowered his camera, a pretty peach blush spreading across his cheeks as he found out he got caught. His eyes avoided your gaze as he waited for the photo to print out of the polaroid, a small smile now the companion of his deepening blush. He was always so damn adorable, you nearly had to stop yourself from cooing at his actions most of the time. Despite being married for 3 years after an 8-year relationship, he still was bashful when it came to romantic gestures. Banter and skinship? Fine, didn’t affect him whatsoever. Now, saying romantically cheesy things and holding hands in public? Absolutely not-- he’d overheat from how red his face gets from those things. He was always like that, although it was worse when you both started dating. He’s more comfortable now, initiating rather than reacting, which was something you were glad about. He was comfortable enough with you to seek those things rather than hope you do them.
You grinned at his retreating form as he went to the other side of what will be the bedroom of your apartment. You watched intently as he opened one of his two precious boxes with “PARK JIMIN” scribbled on messily with Sharpie. He had mentioned those two boxes were where he kept all his printed out pictures and polaroids taken as well as adding a “please don’t open them, my love” into the mix as usual. He stashed the picture he just had taken of you away tenderly in one of the countless photo albums of Polaroids and photographs he kept, however this one looked different from far away. Definitely far more expensive than the others he buys, but its not like you’ll pry about it. He was very sensitive about his photographs, so he was practically the only one who was allowed to look at his still memories and you were okay with that. There’s no use in making someone you’ve spend most of your life and hopefully all of your future with uncomfortable. He had always been into photographing things he found “beautiful and worth remembering”, in his own words. Even during elementary where you’d both met he had disposable cameras which he took pictures of different things at recess that caught his eye and of both you and him as well as his other friends. After getting his first Polaroid camera for his 12th birthday, they’d been inseparable ever since. You stretched, now fully detached from the book in your sheet-covered lap.
Your back was against the wall for what felt like hours as you both didn’t have any furniture yet, causing your back to be stiffer than it would normally. You’d insisted on buying new furniture to signal a new start in your lives after moving from the apartment you both lived in for most of your relationship, but didn’t account for the delivery date and the move-in date, which left you with just a mattress against the floor and a bedside table your husband vehemently refused to get rid of. Something about bro-code and not being able to throw away something his bros got him or whatever. Beats you, it’s not like it was an ugly design or color. Just a plain orange wood IKEA bedside table that’s probably in thousands of aesthetic pictures online out there. A polaroid he took of you last night laid on the same table and your cheeks suddenly heat up at the image. He took it while your eyes were closed in the climax of uh… intimate affairs. Yeah, that. He never left his pictures out in the open like that though, so you spoke up.
Your “hey, love?” was met with a hum from the blond man, his back still to you as he put the special-looking album and the other albums gingerly back into their box.
“You forgot one…from… last night,” you ended the statement in a whisper, the lewd image making your confidence fade, demeanor reminiscent to how your own husband was a few minutes ago. You took the photograph in your hand and held it out for him to take. When he turned around and saw your hand, a flash of recognition went through his face. A mischievous smirk carved itself into his usually timid face and he stuffed his hands into his short’s pockets. He was usually the shy and reserved one, however, when you showed his usual qualities it triggered cocky and sadistic Park Jimin to make an appearance. Bastard was taking pleasure in your embarrassment. You rolled your eyes and waved the picture in his direction. Weirdly enough, his demeanor never faltered. He’d always fussed over putting them away and keeping them stored safely, away from prying eyes, but why was this clearly intimate picture any different?
“I’d like to hang that one up, actually. Hmm… let’s see… should I put it right above the bed? Maybe put it at the back of my phone? I’d like to stare at it as often as I can,” he teased, feigning a thoughtful expression as he trailed off. Your whine of response caused his smirk only to widen. Your brain finally caught up to the situation and your eyebrows furrowed. Now this was new. He never did that… He’d store all his pictures without wanting anyone to see them even before the start of your relationship. The pictures he took were always too precious to him for anyone else to see, too personal, he’d said often when anyone did ask. Your clear bafflement showed on your face as your head automatically tilted in question. He seemed to take notice and understand why you were confused rather than annoyed. His expression finally faltered slightly, the smirk falling from his lips only to be replaced by a small smile and a soft flush on his cheeks once more
“I’ve um… thought about it… for a while. Since we got married, actually. I want...” he trailed off, his voice faltering. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath before continuing once again. “I want to show you all of my photo albums and the pictures I’ve taken… if you’d like? I want you to well... know all of me.” His voice trailed off at the end as he scratched the back of his neck.
You were left absolutely stunned. The situation you were suddenly thrust into had you completely taken aback. You knew how much his still memories meant to him and for you to be allowed to view them—to be the first known person besides him to view all of them in their entirety—it made your eyes water. It warmed your heart that he would trust you so much as to see even the deepest part of him he wished no one to see. It was a big step for him emotionally and the fact that he’s taking it made you just so damn happy. Your silence wasn’t mistaken, though. The lifetime you’d spent knowing each other gave him the ability to read you as though you were a book at the library. He knew how touched you felt and it only caused his blush to darken slightly. He knows what he’s going to show you. He loves taking pictures-- loves taking pictures of you. You’ll get to see how happy you make him. You’ll get to see exactly what he thought when those pictures were taken through the scribbles and dates on them. You would finally get a glimpse into the mind he had sealed away for protection. With a smile and nod, you accepted this wonderful change to your life.

This is for one of my favorite pairings and for romnor week. Also, this is going to be an afterlife type au that I haven't came up for a name yet. I am going to be using this au for most of my entries so look forward to that. ^^
Theme: Nature
Warnings: Mentions of Death and OCness
Norway- Eindride
Romania- Viorel
▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪
Eindride could no longer hear the beeping of the machines. In fact, he could no longer feel his body. He felt as if he was floating on a float gently down the river while being surrounded by nothing, but complete and utter darkness.
He knew he succumbed to the cancer that had slowly been killing his body for years. He no longer felt the connection to world of the living and he no longer could feel any more of that pain miserable pain. He was finally free and he could finally be with his little brother again...at least he hoped.
When Emil was on his death bed, Eindride had signed the paperwork so when they die, their souls would be send off to a virtual paradise that scientists created with some help of magic. He didn't understand how that worked or how they made this happened, but he would rather put his trust in the scientists then in gods.
After all, the gods had abandoned him and his little brother a long time ago so he didn't trust the heavenly beings to keep him and his brother together.
He was brought out his thoughts quickly when he felt him being jerked harshly towards a bright white light.
His eyes snapped opened to a black starry sky as his heart pounded wildly in his chest. He gave his heart a moment to settle as he brought his hand up towards the sky.
That was when he noticed the strange markings going down and up his arms. He sat up and to see if he had any more markings. The tattoo, if he could even call it that, started from the tips of his toes and ended at the tips of his fingers. The design is that of a tree where the roots were his feet to his ankles, the trunk being his legs to his stomach before branching out into branches and twigs.
However, the strangest part of this all, was the tattoo was glowing an eerie bright blue as small purple lights flowed through his body. He reached out and gently ran his finger against the markings as the little purple lights went by, but he didn't feel anything different...it just felt like normal skin. Maybe the lights were his life source? He didn't really know, but he was mesmerized by it all.
Once he finished staring at his markings, he stood up to take in his surroundings. He felt like he either stepped into a fantasy novel or he stumbled onto a alien planet...either way it was beautiful.
He was standing on a little, green sandy island in the middle of a lake that looked like it was connected to a river coming from the south while being surrounded by a forest on all three sides. The trees were black with many different colors of lights that arranged from many different shades of the colors in rainbow. From the trees's branches there hanged a string of white crystals that reached almost to the ground with a golden flowers hanging upside down at the end like a bell. Those trees were surrounded by dark red, white, and black grass with the same flowing lights as the trees.
The water in the lake was pitch black, but Eindride could see the bottom of the lake thanks to the natural light given off by the plants and other underwater creatures that lived there. To be honest, he didn't recognized any of the creatures under the water. They looked so alien to him and yet so beautiful that he wanted to touch them, but he knew it would be impossible to do so.
He was so caught up being fascinated by the nature that surrounded him that Eindride didn't even realized someone had snuck up right behind him until it was too late.
"Never expected to see anyone in this forest."
Eindride jumped when he heard a voice behind him and almost fell into the lake when he slid a little on the sand. He let out some very colorful Norwegian words before turning his violet eyes and body towards where the voice was coming from.
There standing on top of the surface of the lake was an unusual, but beautiful looking man. He seemed to be a bit shorter then Eindride and it looked like he only reach about his chin. His strawberry blond hair seemed a bit on the messy side reached to his shoulder. He wore a simple red shirt and black pants, but he had nothing covering his feet. Just like Eindride, he hand strange markings as well, but his was black twisted vines that had little red lights going through his and under his eyes lids he had black and red crystals or lights that spread out a little onto his cheek. When Eindride's eyes met with the stranger's red ones, he noticed his eyes were glistening in amusement and curiosity with a smirk that showed his little fang off as he studied Eindride.
"So why are you in Crystal Night Forest?" The man spoke again in a accent that might be Romanian, but he wasn't sure. "Shouldn't you be in the town?"
"I woke up here. In this exact spot actually..." Eindride responded. "I should be asking you how you are walking on water...well standing on it to be exact."
The man chuckled before walking towards him and with every step he took little pops of color would appear on the surface of the water. It was as if someone would splatter paint on a black canvas and it was really beautiful.
He stopped in front of Eindride and held his hand out to him. "Anything in this world is possible." He said. "If you want to swim, you can swim. If you wish to fly, you can fly. I mean its day and night here and the sun and the moon exist in the same sky. It should be impossible, but it isn't."
Eindride couldn't agrue with that. There was a lot of things that should be impossible like creating a new afterlife for dead, magic, and to be honest everything he had seen in this world should be impossible, but it wasn't. This place really was paradise in his eyes.
He noticed that the man still had his hand held out to him. He placed his hand into his and allowed him to lead him out onto the lake. A smile tug at his lips as colors appeared under his feet everytime he walked until they reach the otherside of the lake.
He let go of his hand as he looked around as he walked into the forest and when he moved the crystals out of the way, the bell like flowers on the end made beautiful chiming noises.
"The forest is quite beautiful isn't it?" The man said as he followed behind him as he had a small smile on his face.
Eindride nodded his head as he turned to look at him. "It is," he said. "I take it a lot of people live in here?"
His whole demeanor changed when Eindride said that. His eyes seemed a lot more sadder then before as he didn't want to look him in the eye.
"No, just the creatures of the forest and myself live here." He whispered. "People are afraid of unusual and unnatural things...so no one comes here."
Eindride nodded his head. He could understand that since history many times over has shown people being scared of things that were unnatural or not easily explained.
"Anyways, I should take you to town so you can meet the others and see what the day side looks like." The man said before he waved for him to follow after him.
On their way to the town, the man described the other side which sounded pretty normal with green grass, actual leaves on trees, and everything else. The only catch was that it was always day on that side, but since the dead don't need sleep and apparently, it never gets too hot there so it is all fine.
As they were talking, well Eindride only made a few comments here and there while he let the other do most of the talking, he found out the man's name was Viorel.
Viorel was very friendly, cheerful, and quite playful overall a ball of sunshine if Eindride could describe it. He also seemed to have an interest in magic and magical creatures and that sparked a deep conversation between the two of them. To be honest, Eindride was enjoying his company so far and found Viorel quite adorable.
With Viorel's company, it didn't seem to take too long to reach the line were day and night meet, but Viorel stopped walking and didn't move towards the line so Eindride stopped as well.
"Why did you stop?" Eindride asked.
"Let me show you why." Viorel whispered as moved towards the meeting point.
Eindride watched in curiosity as Viorel raised his hand before trying to reach out to the day side of the world. Suddenly, a glass wall appeared from the ground and blocked his hand from crossing over.
"I am not allowed to...I can never cross to the other side while others can and I don't even know why." Viorel's eyes seemed to sadden again as Eindride watched him remove his hand as the wall disappeared. "I am forever trapped on this side of the world. I can't be where the other souls are."
No one comes here. If no one ever goes to the forest and if he couldn't leave, then Viorel must be very lonely. He could understand that type of loneliness for it had always been just Emil and him. When his little brother passed away, he had no one, but the medical staff as his only company. That kind of loneliness eats you alive inside until there is nothing left. He never had the chance to make friends before so he could perhaps give it a shot with Viorel.
"I need to find my brother..." Eindride said. "...but I would like to see you again. How would I find you again?"
Eindride couldn't stop the smile appearing when he saw Viorel's eyes widen in such a comedic way. "Do you mean it?" There was uncertainty in his voice, but he just nod his head yes to confirm it.
Eindride wasn't prepared for the hug to come his way. He stiffened up for a second before he awkwardly patted Viorel's back gently. He finally pulled away as a blush dusted his cheeks gently while Viorel smiled brightly at him.
"To answer your question, you can always find me at the lake." Viorel said. "If you ever want to meet, you can go to the little sand spot where I met you and I can find you there."
Eindride nodded his head before walking to the line before stopping and turning to look at Viorel. "Goodbye Viorel," he said.
"Bye, I wish you luck on finding your brother!" Viorel waved.
Eindride turned his back to him before stepping over to the day side, but when he did his strange markings disappeared and he could no longer see the little purple lights going through his body. "Hey Viorel, why did my..." He turned around to ask him, but the man had already disappeared.
He just shrugged before turning around and heading towards the town to find his little brother.

Disconnected-Chapter Seven (Luke Hemmings)
Tumblr media
Summary: In an alternate universe where everyone has a soulmate, Luke and his soulmate share the rarest of them all. Some people have matching tattoos, others feel each others pain/emotions, but mental connections are the least common. The connection that Luke and Lynn share is that they can hear whatever song the other is singing. When they are close together they will be able to hear each others voices but for the meantime, they can only hear the recorded versions.
Pairings: Luke Hemmings x Lynn Corby (OC)
Warnings: A few cuses
Content: Just you wait...
Featured Songs: None
“Hey, what’s on your schedule for today?” Kylie asked while barging into Lynn’s room through the connecting bathroom door.
“I’ve got laundry, a few errands, and a yoga class in the afternoon, why?”
“Okay let me be a little more specific, what are you doing tonight?” Kylie rephrased.
“Um nothing so far, were you thinking of doing something?” Lynn asked while combing out her strawberry blond hair, dripping fat drops of water from the shower.
“Well my sister is coming in tonight,” Lynn nodded remembering Kylie’s younger sister Avery, the wilder of the two with eyes that made the moon dull. “Well she’s been begging me to take her to the bar downtown-”
“Wait, hold on a minute. You’re not seriously thinking about taking your fourteen year old, underage sister to a bar are you?” Lynn frowned placing both of her hands on both of her hips. Water trickled down her t-shirt.
“Well-”
“And not just any bar, you want to take her to the bar that I am trying to build a reputation in, a reputation that says sweet, mellow, down to earth singer songwriter. Not law breaking alcoholic who brings children to bars.” She said gesturing wildly. Invisible air quotes were dragged through the air with her bare fingers. “I’m not supporting this, no.”
“She’s sixteen but she’ll be seventeen in a few months. Besides she has an ID that says otherwise. Avery can pass for older and you know it, plus it would only be once this visit.” defended Kylie.
“This visit?” Lynn’s head tilted to the side, not believing the words coming out of her roommate’s mouth.
“You know what,” Kylie said. “Just forget I even mentioned it.” she finished, her voice giving hints of anger and frustration.
“Believe me, I will. I can’t believe you even suggested that.”
“I just thought you would want to have some real fun instead of sitting here at home with a stick up your ass.” Kylie mumbled as she exited the room.
Lynn stood there, jaw dropped, shocked at Kylie’s words. They hadn’t had a real fight since they moved in together over a year ago. While that might not have even counted as a fight, Lynn was feeling like their friendship was damaged a little. She knew that she liked to be tidy and tame while Kylie liked to be messy and have her fun. That’s why they worked so well together, they balanced each other out. Together they made an amazing team, but Kylie and Avery were partners in crime, nothing could stop them, which was probably why Kylie had gotten so defensive.
Lynn thought about apologizing but then stopped herself. Why should I have to apologize for something I didn’t do wrong? Kylie is the one who wanted to take her baby sister drinking. I only told her that it was not a responsible thing to do. Kylie is the one who said that I had a stick where the sun doesn’t shine. If anyone should be apologizing, it should be her.
Lynn heard the front door close followed by a car engine roaring up a few moments later. Either way, Lynn was not getting up to go apologize at that moment, especially not for something that she hadn’t done wrong.

“Feel like getting a drink?” Luke asked Ashton, waking the older man that had been sprawled out asleep on the couch.
“A drink, right now?” Ashton sleepily questioned, wiping the residue from his eyes while peering up at the Luke. The man he considered his little brother, despite the height difference.
“Well no, not at the moment. But I want to go downtown and explore a little bit, see a few shops or whatever. I figured I would bribe you to come with me if I promised you a drink at that bar we passed on the way here.” suggested Luke.
“You make me sound like an alcoholic.” Ashton told him.
“So are you in or not?”
Ashton thought about it before giving in. “Alright, I guess I’ll go with ya.”
“Cool. I’m heading out in about half an hour.”
“Goodness Luke, what’s the rush? We’ve got all week.”
“I don’t know.” Luke shrugged. “We haven’t really done anything since we got here which is nice but I’m also feeling a little cabin fevered. I’d like to get out for an afternoon.”
“Well I won’t argue with that.” Ashton yawned and sat up on the couch to reach for his phone on the coffee table to check the time. “What’re Mikey and Calum doing?”
“They left about an hour ago to get a few groceries. They should be back any minute. They’re going to come with us.”
“You sent Michael and Calum out to get groceries? They’re not coming back any time soon.” Ashton stated flopping back onto the couch. “Calum will get lost and Michael won’t have a clue where anything is.”
“They’re adults, they’ll be fine.”
“So are you Luke.” stated Ashton.
“Are you saying that I wouldn’t be able to pick up a few basic groceries?” Luke questions
“No, all I am saying is that there are more efficient ways to shop than the ones you are familiar with.”
“Is that so?”
“You know what I mean.” Ashton looked up at Luke. Luke wasn’t buying anything he was saying. “You have your own ways to do things, and then there are the more normal ways, the ways that take less time.”
“Ashton just stop, you’re digging yourself a hole.”
“Yep.” Ashton shut up immediately.
Luke turned to walk out of the room to put his phone on the charger for a quick top up before they left. He glanced out of the window, watching as a few birds picked through the grass in search for their next meal. Luke thought about how some birds mated for life, about how one would die of malnutrition if something were to happen to the other. Birds had soulmates that they chose for themselves. They didn’t have to play the cruel game that fate had arranged for the human population. The game that had driven some people to believe that it wasn’t worth it, to spend their entire lives looking for someone just because fate said they connected. People over centuries had given up hope. Some had spent their entire lives looking for someone, only to find them and one of the connectors died within days. The thought of it broke Luke’s heart. He’s heart yearned for someone he’d never met before.
***
Luke, Calum, Ashton, and Michael found themselves wandering the streets of downtown Sadowa. They had parked the rental in a parking lot behind a post office and decided to walk around, enjoying the simplicity and serenity of the town. They’d checked out a few stores that adorned the walkway advertising arts, flowers, wooden carvings and other small trinkets that seemed to cater to cottagers rather than the locals. Calum and Michael bought ice cream in the ice cream and fudge shop while Ashton and Luke had gotten a cardboard box of French fries to share across the road at a restaurant decorated to look like a food truck. They all sat on the longest bench in front of the restaurant and ate in peace. Ashton was taking pictures and posting a few on his Instagram story while Michael tried to get Calum’s ice cream onto Calum’s nose by telling him that the ice cream smelled sweeter than what they had back in LA. He was successful in doing so. Calum had ice cream on not just his nose but his lips and chin as well thanks to the help of Michael’s hand. Snap: another picture for their social media.
Luke people watched, absentmindedly putting the fries in his mouth. He observed as an older couple walked hand in hand with a pair of small children at their sides telling them about their friend from school. Half a dozen boys with shaggy hair and snapbacks who looked to be about twelve or thirteen raced down the mostly empty street on skateboards with one girl in a blue and pink helmet in tow. Two girls with identical wild, dark curly hair giggled as they walked into another store across the street. Everyone around him was happy. The remainder of the sun felt nice on his face. A dog was tied up across the street while its owner went into a store. Luke wondered if his soulmate liked dogs. What would he do if they were afraid of Petunia, or allergic?
Luke was pulled out of his train of thoughts when a little girl approached them with what appeared to be an older sibling or babysitter.
“Hi there.” Calum was the first to speak up.
“Um hi, I’m Amy.” the little girl told them. “Are you guys in a band? My sister went to a concert in Toronto a while ago and you guys look a lot like her pictures.”
“Well Amy, we just so happened to be in a band.” Ashton told her. “We’re called 5 Seconds of Summer. My name is Ashton, this is Calum, Michael and Luke.” They all waved to her smiling; rarely did they have little kids approaching them. “What’s your friend’s name?” Ashton asked referring to older girl who had followed Amy, but hadn’t torn her eyes away from her phone.
“That’s Elizabeth, she’s my cousin. Lizzy’s visiting for the week.” Elizabeth looked up momentarily at the sound of her name but went back to her phone once she saw that she wasn’t needed. “She has a secret special friend that she is texting, but I’m not supposed to know that.” Amy whispered to them making them all laugh.
“Did you want a picture with us to show to your sister then, to make her jealous?” Calum asked. Amy thought about it for a moment before nodding her head eagerly making them laugh once more. She pulled an iPod touch out of her pocket and signalled for them all to squish in close so she could take a picture of them.
“Okay one, two, three pizza rolls.”
“Pizza rolls!” the four of them chanted smiling for the camera. Amy giggled and jumped up and down a few times.
“Okay now your turn.” Luke told her. “That’ll really make her jealous.”
“Okay!” she agreed. “Elizabeth can you come take a picture for me?” Amy asked her cousin pleadingly.
“I’m in the middle of something, later.” the cousin responded.
“That’s okay, we’ll do like one big group selfie.” Michael suggested. The boys all bent down to her height and crowded together, letting Amy in the middle. They took a few pictures and then a few goofy ones. Lastly they took a short video saying hi to Amy’s sister and thanking her for coming to their concert.
After a few minutes, Elizabeth had called Amy back so that they could get home for dinner. They said their goodbyes and went their separate ways.
“So how about that drink?” Ashton nudged Luke gesturing to the small bar across the street. By then the sun had disappeared behind the buildings. Their food was long gone and they’d continued walking with no particular destination in mind.
“You sure you don’t want to get a sandwich first, or maybe a book for some hammock reading.” Luke teased.
“No it’s guys time, get me a beer.”

“So wait a minute, Lynn knows who her soulmate is but she’s not doing anything about it?” Avery questioned her sister as they sipped away on some vodka mix that literally tasted pink.
“She says that just because she has an advantage that it doesn’t mean she should use it.” answers Kylie.
“Bullshit!” stated Avery, “I’d kill to know who my soulmate is. It’s literally all I want in life.”
“I know, I know.”
“So if she knows who they are, but they don’t know who she is, how’d she even figure that out? Did she catch them singing or something?” Avery wondered aloud, half to herself, half to her sister.
“Yeah, something like that. I’m not allowed to give specifics but I can tell you that he’s not from around here.”
“So it’s a ‘he’ then, and he’s not local.” Avery took a long sip of her drink emptying the glass. “Lynn hasn’t really got much to go on now has she? She’s basically got herself any guy who wonders through here. Lynn knows nothing about him but she’s decided to let him go, Ky, that just doesn’t sound like her.”
“Believe me; Lynn knows more about this guy than most people should know about their soulmates before they meet.”
Avery frowned at her sisters words, not quite understanding what she meant. Maybe this guy was in trouble with the law or something. But regardless, wouldn’t she still love him and want to be with him? It’s just not natural to not.
“So she’s heard some not so nice things about him then.” Avery stated questionably.
“No no, not like that.” Kylie said knowing how her little sister thought, “If anything Lynn’s kinda intimidated.”
“But it doesn’t matter.” Avery half slammed her empty glass on the counter out of frustration. Every head turned within a two table radius of them but Avery didn’t care. She was never one to give a damn about others opinions.
“Hey, try to keep it down.” Kylie told Avery, “We’re technically not supposed to be in here so don’t draw any extra attention to us.”
“Kylie! A soulmate is a soulmate and you can’t change it. Lynn is being incredibly stupid to not go after him.” Avery continued her rant, “She’s being selfish. Not only is she hurting herself but she’s also hurting her soulmate. Lynn is being stupid.”
“Avery enough,” Kylie shapely stepped in and put on her big sister face to stop her little sister before she said something worse. Avery had a tendency to speak her mind without giving consideration of other people. “That’s my best friend you’re criticizing, show some respect. You also don’t know the full story. There’s a lot more to it but it’s none of your business so watch it.”
“Kylie are you even listening to yourself? Lynn is-”
“Lynn is taking her time and trying to do what is best for her and Lu- I mean her soulmate. You are in no position to judge her for this. When you are older and both you and your soulmate are ready to meet, then perhaps you will begin to understand how stressful this is for them.”
Avery, as fiery as she was, backed down once she saw how fiercely Kylie was defending Lynn’s decision.
“Okay, okay. I’m sorry. You’re right.” she sighed subconsciously rubbing her left shoulder, a nervous habbit. “I don’t understand the situation. I guess I got a little jealous of Lynn. Seriously Ky, all I want in life is to find my soulmate and live out our lives happily and healthy.”Kylie had heard Avery say that a million times but this time she was as sincere as she could get.
“I know you do.” Kylie’s voice softened when she saw her sister’s change of attitude. She reached over and placed her hands atop of Avery’s, a communication of emphasis that both of them understood. “You’ll find them, I promise. If we have to ask every single person if they have your matching tattoo then so be it.”
Avery chuckled at the thought. “You know, now I’m really jealous of Lynn because it would be far easier to find her soulamte if they walked by. All she would have to do is match up the voice.” A bartender came over and brought each girl a new drink. “With me, it’s more difficult because I can’t say ‘Hey, take off your shirt and let me see if we have matching tattoos.’”
“Now that would be interesting.”
“My soumate could be right under my nose and I wouldn’t even know it.” Avery pouted.
Before Kylie could respond, her jaw dropped. In walked four young men that were one hundred percent tourists. Clad in leather jackets, half unbuttoned button ups and black boots, there was no way in hell they were locals, along with the fact that Kylie had never seen these people in the small fifteen hundred person town before. But it wasn’t the jackets, boots or even funky styles of hair that caught her attention. It was the piercing blue eyes that belonged to the tallest blond. The blue eyes she recognized to belong to her best friend’s soulmate. In walked Five Seconds of Summer and where the hell was Lynn!
Avery turned to look at what had caught her sister’s attention only for her own jaw to nearly hit the counter. Her head whipped back.
“Is that-”
“Yes, be cool, there’s something I need to tell you.” Kylie commanded, using her eyes to silently beg her sister to listen for once in her life.
“We’ve been talking in this bar for the last hour and you want to tell me something now.” Avery sounded near shrill as she questioned her sister. “Five freaking Seconds of Summer just walked in and I want a picture, tell me after.”
Avery pushed back her bar stool to get up but Kylie was faster. She caught Avery’s wrist before she could leave, squeezing enough to tell Avery that it was serious.
“Sit back down.” growled Kylie under her breath, “There’s something I need to tell you about them that involves Lynn and a little bit of us.”
“You’ve gotta be kidding me.” Avery arched her eyebrow, clearly indicating that she didn’t believe Kylie.
Kylie leaned over the table to speak to her sister without the listening ears of others. She already didn’t want to tell Avery but it would be the only way to keep her quiet, maybe. If other people found out, it could ruin their moment.
“Promise me you won’t say anything when I tell you.”
“Nope.” Avery shook her head, “You’re up to something. How are you not freaking out? Your first celebrity crush just walked into the bar!”
“Avery I need you to trust me.”
“I don’t get it.”
“Just. Trust. Me. Two zambucca.”
“Two?” Avery repeated questionably.
“Two.” Kylie confirmed.
“Two has never been on the table before meaning that this is serious?” All Kylie could do was nod her head, lost in thought. Serious was an understatement. This was life altering.
Kylie sighed letting go of Avery’s wrist to rub her temples. She glanced over at the vacationing musicians. The three blonds were talking about something that must have been funny because all of them wore three award winning smiles. The one she knew as Calum was looking in Avery and Kylie’s direction seemingly lost in his own mind. After a few seconds he must have realised that he was starring and flashed the girls a nervous half smile before turning back to his group.
“Okay here’s the deal. Lynn’s soulmate just walked in.”
“Lynn’s soulma- wait what? Why are you just telling me no- ohhhh you mean....” Avery nodded her head at the band with eyes as wide as saucers.
“Yup.” Kylie confirmed.
“So that’s why Lynn was so scared to-”
“Mmhmm.”
“Well we have to tell her!” Avery whisper shouted.
“No no no, no you can’t.”
“Well why the hell not?” demanded Avery, her hand flew to her left shoulder once more. A nervous habit she’d had since she was still in elementary school.
“It’s Lynn we’re talking about, you know, the only one of us who thinks things through logically. We can’t just call her up and say ‘hey roomie, we just ran into your soulmate, remember him? That guy you’ve been avoiding for about a year. Why don’t you come down and meet him?’ Lynn would freak out. She’s not like us, we do things impulsively, she’s a thinker. Lynn has to think about every step and everything in between. She won’t just jump into things like you and I do.” Kylie finished, reaching for her drink she stole another glance across the bar and then back to Avery.
Avery was silent as she thought about what her older sister had told her, a million ideas running through her head.
“Do you think we should do something? They could be leaving tomorrow, then it’ll be years before Lynn and whoever it is connect.” said Avery, “I don’t suppose you’ll tell me which one is her soulmate would you?”
“Not a chance. I’ve already told you more than I’d like to have.” A few silent moments passed before Avery broke it, not being able to stand the slight tension she felt.
“So what do we do?”
“I have an idea.”

Sweet Tooth | Hwang Hyunjin
Tumblr media
✧ Genre: Soulmate!au, sickly sweet fluff
✧ Summary: While most of your friends are connected to their soulmates by tattoos, dreams, or voices inside their heads, you are connected to yours by taste; it wouldn’t seem so bad if it wasn’t for the fact everything they ate was sweet.
✧ Word Count: 2.6k

                                         ✧
“Y/N sweetheart, why aren’t you eating?”
You let out a loud groan of despair at the innocent question, burying your face into the palms of your heads in utter frustration. The rest of your rather large family sat at the table looked at you either in amusement or confusion.
“She’s binded to her soulmate by taste - they apparently never stop eating sweets.” Your mother explains to the ones who are confused, glancing over at your slumped form sympathetically.
Here’s the thing; you really wanted to like whoever your soulmate was, but they never seemed to eat anything that didn’t have some sort of sweet taste to them. If they were snacking on strawberries, there had to be chocolate on them - if they were eating an entire meal there had to be at least a hint of sweetness to it, it was like you could never catch a break.
In the beginning it wasn’t so bad, since you were an avid picky eater and usually refused to eat anything you didn’t think you’d like. Your soulmate started out the same way, but as you both presumably got older, they started to really branch out and try anything given to them. Octopus, kimchi, even fucking bugs, they had involuntarily made you try it as well. As a kid you hated it, but when you got older you realized how cool it was to be able to taste so many new foods without actually eating them, and now you had quite the extensive palette.
A few months ago, your soulmate had eaten something so sweet it had you gagging it was packed with so much flavor, and then it kept happening until you figured out this person had a hellish case of sweet tooth. Funnily enough, you used to crave sweets after dinner or for a snack, but now you avoided them as much as you possibly could. Even now in the midst of a family reunion your soulmate had began to snack on goddamn sugar cubes, effectively spoiling your appetite.
“Honestly that’s probably the weirdest bond between soulmates I've ever heard of - and let me tell you, I've heard of some really freaky ones.”
“I know, Jisung. You’re lucky, you’re bonded through dreams. You guys get to dream about each other every night while I’m stuck with someone obsessed with sweets.”
Jisung laughs at your adorable pout of misery, his hand reaching over to playfully mess up your hair while Seungmin watched you both with glazed over eyes, the tiniest of smirks curled onto his lips. The three of you always stuck together like glue no matter what, even in school. You and Jisung had advanced placement history class right now, but Seungmin had signed up with your teacher to be his assistant just so he could be in the same class, essentially.
There was one other person in your trio of friends, a boy your age named Felix. Him and his soulmate were bonded together with the gift of being able to see whatever the other person saw when they wanted to. According to the freckled boy, whenever he closed his eyes and decided to open the barrier between them, he was able to see everything his soulmate was looking at in that very moment.
“Hey, where’s Lix?” You asked the two boys in front of you nonchalantly, picking at your nails in boredom as you blocked out the sounds of your peers chatting away with one another before class started. “The bell rings in a minute. If he’s late again he’s going to get detention.”
Both Jisung and Seungmin shrugged, clearly showing that neither of them knew where the last part of your group was either. Once the bell rang you whipped out your phone, sending a few concerned texts to your friend before you shoved it back into your backpack so you wouldn’t get caught with it.
‘yo pineapple head, where tf are you??’
‘lix the teacher is going to castrate you if you’re late again!!’
‘imma laugh when you get detention sorry dude’
Ten minutes later the door was opened, catching yours and everyone else’s attention as Felix walked into the classroom looking as calm and collected as ever. Following the freckled boy was a boy you had never seen before, and by the baffled expressions of your classmates, you could tell that none of them knew who this guy was either.
“Sorry I’m late teach, I was told by the principal to show the new kid to all of his classes.” He explained while everyone else in the classroom watched in wonder, clearly eyeing the new kid up and down. Hell you couldn’t really blame them, the new guy was incredibly handsome and obviously had a unique sense of fashion; wearing a long sleeved, white polo shirt with a cropped, black leather jacket and black jeans with tears in them.
When Felix gestured for the boy to follow him towards your table, you quickly averted your gaze back to Jisung, making sure you weren’t seen as you playfully wiggle your eyebrows at him. The blonde rolled his eyes at your antics, only to replace his pursed lips with a welcoming smile as Felix sandwiched the new kid between your body and his own.
“Um, hi,” the newcomer spoke softly at first, clearing his throat to speak a bit louder when the boy beside him nudged his arm encouragingly, “I’m Hyunjin. Felix said it was okay for me to stick with you all, if that’s alright.”
“Yeah, of course its fine - but I’ll let you in on a secret,” you pause for dramatic effect, leaning in closer to his ear as you whispered, “those three are fucking idiots with no common sense, just follow my lead and you won’t be like them.”
Hyunjin snickered quietly at your diss, watching as the three other boys sat at the table pouted their lips in your direction as if they knew exactly what you were saying under your breath. “I’ll be sure to keep that in mind.”
“Hyunjin, how in the world do you manage to get all of your work done?” You question him with a whine, letting out a satisfied sigh as you lean against his chair and pop your back. He simply put one of his fingers up to his plush lips in reply, tossing a ball of wadded up paper at your head.
“A magician never reveals his secrets, Y/N.”
You huff in annoyance at his secretive reply, wincing when the wad of notebook paper hits the top of your head. You reach down to grab it and throw it back to him forcefully, a snicker escaping your lips when it makes contact with his forehead and the dramatic boy plops down onto his bed with a groan of fake pain.
You weren’t quite sure how the two of you had grown so close to each other in such a little amount of time, if you counted two months of knowing each other not a lot of time. The bubbly boy had almost every single class with you and the other boys in the close-knit group of friends, so it wasn’t exactly hard to become close with him. Thing is, a lot of other people tried to get close with him during that period of time as well, although it was painfully obvious how they were only interested in his good looks and incredible sense of fashion.
Speaking of which, you learned that he actually got a majority of his clothes from a thrift store and either left them as is or redesigned them into whatever he wanted them to be. Ever since then you’d decided to tag along with him whenever he went thrifting - which was literally four times a week - just to keep him company since the rest of your group usually had other things to do. Still, Hyunjin somehow managed to go to work, finish his schoolwork, and thrift so often without breaking a sweat; you were dead set on figuring out how he did it.
From the corner of your eye you spot the black haired boy sneaking something out of what appeared to be a plastic baggy tucked underneath one of his pillows, stuffing it into his mouth before you could even attempt to identify whatever it was. A small, almost miniscule sense of something sweet hit your tongue, but you ignore it in favor of keeping focused.
With another exasperated huff you lean back into his chair, watching him chew on his mysterious snack while he typed something onto his computer for one of your history assignments.
He was one of the most attractive boys you had ever laid your eyes on, that much was for certain. Hyunjin radiated a strange sort of warmth and genuine friendliness that rarely was seen in such a time of desperateness, with most of the population hellbent on finding their soulmate before they grew old. Yet Hyunjin seemed perfectly content with not finding his other half, so much in fact that he tended to veer away from conversations about soulmate connections.
Watching the diligent boy work so eagerly, his eyes wide in a shining curiosity that never did seem to diminish, you wondered what his soulmate was doing. Perhaps they were as beautiful as he was, or as intelligent and hardworking as Hyunjin was - whoever it was, you couldn’t help but feel jealous of. There were times where you wished you were Hyunjin’s soulmate, in all honesty.
Whoever was connected to him was extremely lucky.
I am going to kill Han Jisung.
You think silently to yourself, glaring daggers at the all too amused, proud blonde sat snuggly in-between Felix and Seungmin, who both were looking just as amused by your situation. Tonight was movie-night, a night where all five of you got together at someone’s house and randomly picked a movie from Netflix to watch. This particular night was being hosted by Hyunjin, which wouldn’t have been an issue if you hadn’t already been wearing his clothes as pajamas after your long-winded study session.
The second those three sauntered into his house and spotted you, you knew they were going to pull something cheesy and ridiculous, but you hadn’t been expecting this.
You and Hyunjin were left to be smooshed together on the loveseat while the other three made it completely impossible for anyone else to sit on the couch, awkwardly stretching their limbs over each other’s bodies for good measure.
“H-hey Y/N, do you - do you mind if I just-” Hyunjin stutters to himself, his cheeks flushing a deep crimson red as he stretches his arms around you and pulls your back into his chest, giving you both a bit more room on the tiny loveseat.
“N-no, its fine.” You say with a furious blush, thanking the gods that he couldn’t witness the dusty pink color painting your cheeks at his actions.
Throughout the entirety of the movie you were snuggled up into his chest with his chin resting on your shoulder, his soft breaths tickling your sensitive skin. Anytime something funny occurred you could feel his chest moving with his adorable laughter, and whenever something scary popped up onto the television screen he would tightly squeeze you closer to his body as if you could protect him from the fictional ghosts.
You hated how nice it felt to be so close to him, because with each second that passed you could only fall even harder for him - if that was even possible.
 You were so fucked.
“Lix, I can’t go bowling today - I am at work, that’s why!” You hiss into your phone, thankful that there were only maybe three customers in the shop at the moment. Felix was insisting that you all were supposed to go bowling today, but apparently Hyunjin had ditched so he could go to some shop he wanted to check out for a while now, and you were stuck at work.
The bell hanging above the door to the bakery opens and you glance over for just a split second, feeling your lips part in surprise at who walks in. “Uh, another customer just came in Felix, sorry, bye!”
“Ah, is Felix pestering you about the bowling trip too?” The new arrival inquires with a smirk, propping his elbows up onto the marble counter.
“Yep. I bet Jisung is blowing up my messages too, but I am not looking at them.” You laugh, blushing when the still smirking boy leans in even closer from across the countertop, his gaze boring into yours.
Did he want you to turn the color of a tomato? Was he planning to just bother you during your shift?
“I want something sweet, babe.” He hums after a moment of keeping solid eye contact with you, though he doesn’t refrain from keeping so close to you. You flush at the nickname, your breath just nearly catching in your throat in shock.
Without a word you nod in compliance, not wanting to give the smug looking boy the satisfaction of knowing that he could so easily make you a pink, flustered mess. “How sweet?”
“Give me the sweetest thing on the menu - besides you, of course.”
Holy fuck he was going to make your heart explode talking like that. You nod once more, turning your back to him as you go to shuffle through the freshest batches of cupcakes you had in stock. Vanilla? No, that’s just bland. Strawberry with cream? Eh, too basic.
Aha! You think victoriously to yourself, tentively reaching out to grab a chocolate cupcake with vanilla icing and a chocolate covered cherry on top - and it was covered in rainbow sprinkles. It was the newest edition to the menu, and it was a hit with most of your customers; surely Hyunjin would like it.
You hand him the cupcake with a soft smile, tilting your head in curiosity when he hands you the money, but stays in his spot at the counter. He takes a bit of the sickly sweet cupcake, watching everything you do.
That’s when it hits you - that all too familiar taste of something so sweet that you wanted to scream.
“Hm? What’s wrong Y/N, too sweet for you?” Hyunjin snickers, though when you look up in complete and utter shock you can see just how red his cheeks have become, and how he’s clearly growing more nervous by the second, his feet tapping on the floor quickly.
“What - what do you mean?” You ask him, though you already know exactly what he means. But... but how did he figure it out?
Hyunjin gulps and takes a nervous intake of breath, just barely holding it together. “W-well I remembered that you mentioned something about being connected to your soulmate through taste a while back. I um, I kinda connected the dots when you were drinking that shitty smoothie Seungmin made you drink during truth or dare,” he explains quickly, watching with a smile as your own eyes start to widen in realization and disbelief, “I almost threw up it was so bad. Um, a-anyway, I tested it out by eating some basic things around you, like really hot barbeque chips and spicy chicken-”
 “You asshole-”
“I’m sorry, I had to test my theory out somehow! But, like I said, it was kinda obvious after a while that we had the same connection. T-the only reason I didn't act on it sooner was because I didn't want to rush anything. I started to really get to know you and I - I fell in love with you.” He admits softly, making you gasp.
You quickly rush out from behind the counter and throw your arms around the now startled but giggly boy, burying your face into his chest. “I’m so glad its you, Hyunjin.”
“I’m glad its you too, Y/N.”

Kagami Appreciation Week Day 4
https://archiveofourown.org/works/16309199/chapters/39160849
Day 4: Girl’s Night
At the night all the girls of Miss Bustier’s class and a few from other teachers were doing a pajama party at Juleka’s houseboat.
Kagami Tsurugi sat on a bar stool between Lila Rossi and Rose Lavillant watching Juleka’s older brother Luka helping the goth girl mixing smoothies for the party guests.
Alix was dancing with Alya, Myléne and Aurore in the middle of the living room, Mireille sat with Ondine, Marinette, Sabrina and Chloé on the couch seeing the girls dance, besides Chloé that was showing her friend Sabrina something on her smartphone.
“Marinette get up and dance with us” Asked Alya dancing to the song, that aired from a Bluetooth connected music box.
“No I’m fine” Marinette rejected, then Alya rolled her eyes playfully and grabbed the blue-haired girl on the hand for her to get up.
“Come we dance together” Alya offered, then Marinette shrugged her shoulders and joined her friend.
At the bar Luka served the drinks, followed by Juleka adding to all drinks a lemon slice on the edge of the drink glasses.
“Thank you” Said the three on the bar stool in chorus.
“I love strawberry so much” Rose said starting to sip from the drinking straw.
“Aww” Lila and Kagami said at the same time.
“The little kitty seems to love her milk” Luka said observing his sister-in-law enjoying the mix.
“Luka can I tell you something?” The Japanese asked afterward the raven-haired turned his attention to the short blue-hair. “Thank you for letting me make the birthday party here”
“No problem” Juleka’s older brother responded. “My mom takes it easy. Also it would probably be very boring spending the birthday all alone home”
“Yeah”
“I dislike being alone. I nearly spend all my birthday or public holidays all alone, just once in a while, I had the luck to spend three years ago until Befana day with my nonna, then I had to go back to my parents and we went to Turkey for a week or so”
“Same if not it’s just a normal day, where I have to work on my fencing skills, studying for school, guitar lessons, Russian...”
“You’re like the female version of Adrien, except you can go out and he kind of can’t”
“He can, but sometimes his father is like my mother at some instinct. My guitar its string had got broken during the play and she didn’t let me out to go to the cinema with you”
“Oh yeah, I remember” Lila said drinking a bit from her smoothie. “Rose and Juleka were there together with Nathaniel.”
“I found it strange, that the movie was unrestricted and it contained….uhm sex” Juleka pointed out a little abashed.
“Yeah I know, but it wasn’t explicit and…...if there were any kids I think they didn’t get it” Lila said trying to remember that evening.
“You didn’t see seem really naked. You saw they had underwear, that girl there even wore a bra” Kagami mentioned.
“Nathaniel was funny, he looked at me with a disgusted face and asked me Why did you bring me to see this” Rose told Luka making him laugh.
“Poor guy,” Luka said amused by the blonde’s story.
“I couldn’t know that either, I just told him the movie was about a Jewish man, that feel in love with a non-Jewish girl”
“I still found the movie pretty funny. His mother mostly” Lila said making Kagami chuckle.
“Right, she really was hilarious” Agreed the Japan decedent girl.
“She’s open up girls. she’s opening up!” Announced Aurore running at the girls grabbing them by the shoulder.
“Who’s opening up?” Asked Kagami looking at Lila and Rose, that shrugged their shoulders in response to the birthday girl. The four girls at the bar turned around to see Mireille sitting on the coffee table and Aurore sat down next to her.
“Okay now you can tell it”
“No, I think no one cares about it” Mireille said a little embarrassed.
“Come, they sure would love to hear, what you’re saying right?” Asked Marinette looking at the other girls, that nodded including Luka.
“Uhm if you want I can leave you all alone” Luka said leaving the bar and picking his guitar while he was on the way to his room.
“Jean finally asked me out” Mireille said and half of the girls jumped up in the air.
“That’s great!” Shouted Lila.
“Congratulation” Kagami wished along with Rose and Juleka.
“Does it mean, that you’re now dating?” Questioned Alya.
“Yeah” Responded the half-Chinese girl making the girls go aww.
“That’s amazing” Ondine said picking a cookie up from a plate, that lied on the coffee table.
“Jean is a good guy” Aurore said to the blue-haired girl. “He’s definitely a keeper”
“Aurore do you have anyone, you would like to get asked out?” Asked Myléne looking up at the former participant of the weather girl competition.
“There’s Adrien, but I don’t think he’s interested in me” The blonde with the pigtails responded.
“What about you Ondine, you and Kim are very good friends. Is there something more about it?” Asked Alya making the girl turn red.
“Oh there is!” Lila said clapping with her hands.
“There is, but I think he still hasn’t figured out, that I’m in love with him. He thinks it’s someone else”
“He’s probably still trying to get any closer to me, but I’m waiting for Adrikins to ask me out”
“Has anyone else realized that every second girl has or had a crush on Adrien?” Asked the pink-haired girl looking at Rose and Juleka.
“Well he’s the XY of modeling and also a teen like all us” Responded Myléne. “Nearly all girls at school love him”
“Yeah” Agreed Ondine.
“I already seen around the internet people writing fanfictions about themselves and Adrien, isn’t this kind of creepy?” Asked Aurore making Marinette and Chloé smile embarrassed.
“That’s...totally ridiculous….”
“Utterly ridiculous….” Chloé said taking her smartphone out and deleting three documents of her word saying The Live as an Agreste.
“There are worse parts on the internet don’t worry” Alya assured the girls.
“Lila, what about you and Nathaniel?” Asked Marinette.
“What do I and Nathaniel have?” Asked Lila making Kagami and Rose laugh.
“You don’t need to lie to us. We know, that you’re in love with him” Marinette pointed out. “Rose said so” The blue-eyed girl said making Rose grin in embarrassment at Marinette’s revelation.
“Rose! That was our secret”
“Don’t be such a drama queen” Rose said with a giggle.
“All of us know you’re in love with him. Juleka and Rose even know he’s in love with you” Kagami assured making Lila cross her arms.
“You’re just making me feel better”
“Ask Juleka” Added the Japanese girl. “She’s the one, who told us that”
“Is this real?” Asked Lila gazing at Juleka, who nodded back.
“My brother said so.” Responded Juleka. “Remember last Christmas we had to pick from a vase a secret Santa?”
“Yes he had me and gave me this armband” Lila explained lifting her arm up showing the silver colored bracelet.
“He was supposed to tell you with a card, that he loves you but he somehow lost the card and then you only got the bracelet from him”
“Oh no I didn’t know that” Lila said sad holding her other hand at her bracelet thinking about the little failure Nathaniel had done with the job.
“Don’t worry, he will have more chances to tell you that, don’t worry” Kagami assured her friend while petting her on the shoulder.
“I could ask him out too, but I don’t know if he would feel bad about me doing this step instead of him”
“Nathaniel wants to impress you in many ways and always tries the hardest to success.”
“He really is a sweetheart”
“When I came to the pajama party here I thought we would be pillow fighting, watching a movie or something and not talk about boys.” Alix said picking a pillow hitting it on Myléne’s head. “And don’t worry Lila, the Nathaniel I know won’t give up easily on you”
“Yeah I believe you that” Lila said getting up taking a pillow and hitting Kagami on her head.
“Hey!” Kagami shouted making Lila laugh, then the brown-eyed girl took another pillow and hit Lila with it.
“Pillow fight!” Rose yelled loud rising up from behind the couch with a pillow, then got hit by Juleka with another pillow and all the girls started to pillow fight each other.
“Be careful with your nails” Hissed Chloé as Sabrina hit her with a smaller pillow on the head, making the redhead stop.
“Excuse me” Apologized Sabrina, then Chloé smirked and hit Sabrina on the face making her lose her glasses and fell down the floor.
“Oh my gosh, are you alright?” Asked the blonde looking shocked at her friend, that quickly sat up half dizzy from the hit.
“I’m great”
“Don’t scare me like that ever again, I thought I had killed you” Chloé exclaimed making Sabrina laugh, then Chloé rolled her eyes at Sabrina after more seconds as Sabrina kept laughing Chloé couldn’t help herself and start to laugh too.
“Hey girls, shouldn’t we be a little quiet because of Luka?” Asked Marinette. “He went before into his room”
“He must be listening to music, he’s always listening to music, when he’s all by himself at school” Ondine explained the blue-haired Chinese girl.
“He could also be asleep” Myléne walking at Luka’s room then saw him sleeping on his bed with his headphones plugged into his ears. “I think he’s sleeping while listening to music”
Alix wide her eyes and looked at Lila and Kagami.
“Hey girls I have an amazing idea in mind, wanna hear?” Asked Alix and Lila nodded, while Kagami shook her head.
“Yes” The brunette resplied.
“No” Responded Kagami after Lila’s answer.
“Juleka can you bring us your makeup box?” Asked the pink-haired girl earning a nod from the tall raven-haired girl.
Later Lila stood at the side of Luka’s bed, while Alix was on the other side on his bed putting makeup on Luka’s face. All the girls were watching and grinning amazed at the sight of how Luka was turning after the girl’s improving his looks.
“Luka’s face looks similar to Marc’s” Marinette said earning a nod from Rose.
“Who’s Marc?” Asked Sabrina looking at the other girls.
“That guy, that’s always sitting under the stairs writing Ladybug stories” Explained Alya. “His usually wearing a red hoodie”
“That’s Marc?” Asked Chloé surprised. “He looks like a girl”
“He’s a genderfluid if I’m correct” Explained the Martinic girl.
“What does this mean?” Asked Chloé not understanding, that what the brown-skinned girl said.
“I don’t know how to explain that, I personally don’t get it either”
“Maybe you could ask him that?”
“Nah it’s okay. It’s a waste of time”
“Who knows, maybe you and Marc have anything in common?” Marinette suggested.
“Forget it, I’m still waiting for the right person to come and maybe that’s in a few years, who knows”
“Have you got hair tint for his hair?” Asked Alix looking at Juleka, who shook her head.
“No”
“Did you really want him to look like Marc?” Asked Aurore.
“It was worth a try” The short girl responded, then shrieked as Luka got up and all girls shrieked and Alix jumped off over the boy on the ground and Lila got pulled by Kagami away from him.
“We’re screwed Lila” Kagami said, then all started to laugh at the sight of Luka.
“Why are you all in my room?” Asked Luka, then Rose held her smartphone with the front camera turned on for Luka to see himself. “Whoa”
“You look amazing” Alix said making the others laugh.
“I don’t really look that bad” Luka said, then he sat up taking a picture.
“Wait, the makeup artists need to be present too” Alix said sitting next to Luka on the bed followed by Lila.
Kagami chuckled at seeing the three taking a selfie with the rouged teen boy.
“I think I’m gonna snap this” Luka said posting it online.
“You really look like the older version of Marc, you just needed to change your clothes and color your hair fully black.” Marinette said making Juleka’s brother nod.
“Now whose turn is it to get a new look?” Asked Luka then Kagami pointed at Lila and Alix held Lila on her arms along with Rose.
“What no!” Lila said and Kagami took with a brush an dark color and painted Lila’s eyelid while she had closed it for her, still struggling a bit.
“If I turn out awful, I’m making you look like the walking dead!”
“Don’t worry, you’ll turn out great” Kagami promised with a giggle, then Ondine picked up an orange lipstick and waited until Kagami was done with her part.
Hours later the girls were all dressed in their pajamas and spread around the houseboat all wrapped up in their sleeping bags. Kagami was in the same room as Rose, Juleka and Lila inside their own bags talking with each other.
“I wanted to thank you all again for making this the birthday of my life” Kagami said looking at Rose, Juleka and Lila.
“Yet” Corrected Lila making her friend chuckle.
“If you allow me to paint you as Ladybug next year, yeah”
“Not gonna happen” Lila said crossing her arms jokingly.
“Great, then I’ll paint you as the Evillustrator, that’s probably better right?”
“I see, that I need to organize another makeup artist for the wedding hein?”
“We’re still sixteen and you’re already planning your future?” Asked Alix sneaking inside her green sleeping back into the room like a snake.
“I want to get married in the future, I don’t know about you girls”
“Me too” Rose said holding her arm up in the air.
“My mother wants me to get married. Until I’m 20, she wants me to already have found somebody, if not she’s looking for someone from other families”
“That’s bullshit with these arranged weddings. Don’t they know their kids have their own rights?” Alix said taking a spot between Kagami and Rose.
“Some parents just don’t matter their children’s choices. They rather want to see your kids with someone together, than someone that….you know….could make your parents feel embarrassed or something” Kagami said. “Example, they would feel ashamed if I was interested into a woman instead or someone from lower classes”
“Like Nathaniel?” Asked Rose earning a nod from the Japanese girl.
“Nathaniel isn’t very low down. He’s just a lone child and only his mother is raising him….Also he’s Jewish and if my dad knew I loved someone from another religion, he’d kill me”
“But now you do love one” Alix pointed out. “What are you going to do later about that?”
“There’s my mother. She already met him and likes him”
“Does she also know, he’s Jewish?” Asked Kagami.
“No, but she would not turn like my dad, if she discovered it”
“I think religions doesn’t matter my mother, unless I had to convert into their religion instead”
“I don’t know” Lila said lying down in her bag, then wide her eyes and got up. “What about Adrien Agreste?” Asked the Italian looking at her friend.
“Lila get some sleep” Kagami asked turning her head away from her at Alix, which glared at her serious.
“Talk”
“What?” Asked the blue-haired girl. “I don’t have a crush on Adrien….oh c….”
“Got ya!” Lila said along with Rose and Juleka.
“Alright, alright I admit it. I also have a crush on him like everyone else”
“I knew it!” Lila shouted jumping with her sleeping bag. “I knew soon or later you would end up falling in love with him”
“It’s nearly one in the morning and Lila is still this hyper” Alix said plugging her earplugs into her ears putting the music on shuffle. “Wake me up, when it’s all over”
“Okay” Rose said twitching inside her bag together before she closed her eyes to sleep. “Good night Juleka”
“Night Rose” Wished Juleka doing the same as Rose did.
“Good night girls” Wished Kagami, then looked back at Lila that kept looking at the Japanese friend. “I like Adrien, if you want to hear that” Whispered Kagami to the brunette. “I just didn’t go any further, cause he still hasn’t forgotten about his crush”
“Right I’m so sorry about this”
“It’s okay, maybe soon or later I’ll meet someone over the way who’s meant for me”
“Who knows, maybe you already met him” Lila said making Kagami chuckle.
“Who Luka?”
“Maybe?”
“You’re crazy”
“You don’t need to tell me something, I already know”
“Of course not” Kagami said shaking her head. “Good night”
“Good night Kagami” Lila said closing her eyes along with her friend, then later they managed to fall asleep.

Mad With Love {Master Kenobi x Jedi!Reader}
Words: 2, 064
This is one of my older requests from a while ago I posted on my Deviantart!
“If you don’t keep your guard up that remote is going to hit you!” I told my apprentice. I felt his frustration heighten and saw his knuckles turn less orange as his grip tightened around his training saber. I sighed at my Twi’lek apprentice. “Breathe and relax. Listen. Reach out with the force you can do this Dev.” I assured my struggling apprentice. His lekku relaxed slightly and he let out a deep breath. As the remote flew around him with a faint whizz, he followed it. Then it struck. Quick as lightning Lev blocked it and the blast was absorbed into the practice saber. A few more ensued and he blocked them with perfect ease.
“Alright I think that’s enough.” I told my apprentice. Quick as lighting Dev ripped off the helmet he was using to cover his vision to show his blue eyes staring back at me. And he wasn’t happy. His shoulders slumped and his eyes fell. I immediately went over to him and put my hand on his shoulder. “You did great Dev. Better than ever.” I assured him. He let out a sigh. “I know. It’s just I’m dealing with so much.” He said. I sighed. “I understand Dev. I know you’re worried about your parents. But they knew you would be safe here and that you would do well here. You are very force sensitive. Don’t let the anger and frustration get to you. That can lead to the dark side. You must always go in with a calm and clear head. If you do, then you will always be able to see the light.” I told him. He looked up at me his blue eyes alight. “Thanks Master (Y/N).” He said. I gave him a smile. “No problem.”
I then decided it was time to tell him the good news. “I have some good news for you Dev.” I told him. He looked up. “What?” He asked. “I am going to talk to the council to see if you can accompany me on one of my supply run escorts. It will give you good experience and I think it’s time you got out of the temple and into the real world. You’re not a youngling anymore. I want you to get out there and help.” I told him. The blue eyes widened and smile lit up on his orange face. “Really?! Oh thank you Master! I would love that!” He said. I smiled pleased that I could lift my apprentices spirit. “Your progress has showed. You are doing great. I’ll speak with Master Yoda and the other council members later today.” I told him.
“How about now?” I heard a familiar voice say. I recognized it immediately and my lips pursed. I turned around to see Master Kenobi leaning against the doorway to the training room. “Hope I’m not interrupting something.” He said. I felt my heart flutter. Pushing away the thought and feeling I pursed my lips. “Master Kenobi. How can I help you?” I asked the strawberry blonde Jedi.
“The council wishes for you to attend a meeting with me. Just the usual update.” He said. His gaze broke from mine and towards Dev. “Run along now Dev. You earned it.” He said. I clenched my jaw. Dev looked at Master Kenobi and back at me. I nodded and with a small bow the Twi’lek ran off. Once the door closed I glared at the Jedi. “I would appreciate it if you didn’t order my apprentice around.” I said my tone a tad forced. Kenobi gave me a small smirk that sent another flutter through my stomach. “My apologies.” He said giving a mock bow. I huffed and ran my fingers through my hair. “I thought I was giving an update to the council later on in the day.” I said to him as I grabbed my robe off the hook and pulled it on.
Obi-Wan watched me and once again was leaning against the wall. “Master Yoda asked me to fetch you. Seems the chancellor wished to speak with him during your time so we had to bump it up.” He informed me. I sighed and staring in the reflective surface started to fix my hair so I at least looked partly presentable to the council. Once that was done I started to clean up the room putting the remote blaster away and just tidying up so the next person to use the room was happy. Then when I was finished I turned to Kenobi. “Alright let’s go.” I said.
Kenobi POV
I watched as Master (L/N) fixed her hair in the reflective surface of the wall. I rolled my eyes. If only she knew. She didn’t need to do that. She was already stunning as it was training hair or no. I sighed as she continued to get ready. I looked down at the floor shuffling on my feet. As she passed me I inhaled the sweet scent of her perfume. Jasmine. It tickled my nose and I immediately relaxed. If only I could tell her how I felt. Damn you Kenobi. Man up! I scolded myself mentally. No the code. If anyone would find out…oh what torture! My mind was full of emotion. Over time I had developed feelings for Master (L/N). She had graced me with her charm and whit. And what did I do to deserve it? Tease her and mock her. I didn’t know how to tell her how I felt about her! I was fearful for her rejection. So the only other thing I could do to lay her off the scent was…be mean to her. Oh and how it tortured me!
“Alright let’s go!” I heard her voice ring out melodic and angelic. It sent a shiver down my spine. I cleared my throat and nodded. She gave me a confused look and before I could stop myself I narrowed my eyes and shot out a “what?” She was taken aback and shook her head. “Nothing. I just…” She stared but then huffed and rolled her eyes. “Let’s just get going alright?” She said. “Fine!” I shot back. She let out another huff before storming out the room. I mentally smacked myself. Smooth move Kenobi. Sighing I quickly hurried after her.
(Y/N) POV
I walked briskly down the temple halls with Master Kenobi at my side. Together we walked over the red carpeted rugs towards the elevator that led up to the council’s chambers. We walked in silence. Suddenly a dozen younglings came running around the corner barreling towards us causing me to bump into Obi-Wan as they weaved around us. I stumbled slightly and before I could stop myself I was falling.
But I never hit the ground. “Woah!” I heard a voice and I felt strong arms wrap around me. “Clumsy as always.” I heard Master Kenobi chuckle. I sighed and ripped myself away from him. “I didn’t need your help.” I snapped. Kenobi blinked a tad surprised and I sighed. “Sorry.” I said. He shrugged. “I’ll just let you fall next time.” He said walking past me. I huffed and watched as he strutted away. Turning around I let out a call to the younglings to be more careful and not to run in the temple. Then I quickly stomped after Kenobi.
The rest of the time we walked in silence. Stepping into the elevator we said nothing. Then the elevator opened with a ding and we stepped out. Ahead was the council room its round door closed. Two guards stood there. As we approached one went in. Finally, after a few moments the door opened and the guard came out. “The council will see you now.” He said. I nodded and together we walked in.
As I entered I saw many of the masters were on hologram. Many were away from the temple on other business around the galaxy but of course as usual Master Yoda, Master Windu and my own Master Plo Koon was there. (I just really like Plo Koon. You can change it if you want.) I bowed in respect to the council members. “Masters. Thank you for seeing me.” I said. Plo Koon and the others bowed back. “Welcome (Y/N).” Plo Koon said. “And welcome to you Master Kenobi.” Plo Koon greeted the strawberry blonde. Kenobi bowed and returned the greeting.
“Updates on your padawan’s training we wish to hearof.” Yoda said. I nodded and stepped forward. “My padawan, Dev Sindula has been improving greatly over these last few weeks. Now he is very good in combat with a saber and is working hard on his meditation. Not only this but he has been studying in the library on the different galaxies and systems and is very much enjoying it. With the council’s permission of course I believe that he is ready to accompany me on an escort mission for a supply run. I wish to start small with him. If the council allows this, I am expected to go on a supply run to Dantooine.” I said.
The masters exchanged looks and mumbled to themselves. Suddenly Master Kenobi stepped forward. “If the council allows it may I speak?” He asked. Yoda nodded. “I was watching Dev train with Master (L/N) today and I noticed that the padawann gets frustrated easily and it throws him off balance and he isn’t able to think straight. I don’t believe that the padawann is ready to do a supply run just yet. I believe that he must hone in on his meditation skills more before going out into a real life situation where if worse comes to worse he may get into trouble.” He said. I pursed my lips trying to control my outrage and anger at this. But deep down I knew this was true. But I didn’t like those words coming out of his mouth. He had no right!
Yoda let out a long hmmm. “Right Master Kenobi is. Problem this could be. Padawann Dev I believe shall stay here and do more training he should.” Yoda said. I felt my heart fall.  “I agree. I do believe he had improved Master (L/N), however, we can’t take the risk if he is still struggling with the force.” Plo Koon said. I clenched my jaw holding my tongue.
“I disagree. I believe that with this experience Dev Sindula can work on his meditation on this run and see what it’s really like in the real world.” Master Windu spoke up. I nodded.  However, the council soon voted and it was voted that Dev should do some more training before going out. With a bow and a quick word of thanks to the council I left the chambers.  I could sense Master Kenobi behind me as we turned a corner down an empty hallway. “Well that went well.” He said. I spun around on him fury in me. “He was ready! Dev can do this! If it hadn’t been for you he would be going with me!” I snarled in anger.
“And if you were attacked? Supply runs are often attacked!” Kenobi said.  “He’s a padawann! He’s not a youngling anymore! He is good in combat training and would handle himself fine!” I snapped.  “That’s not what I saw.” Kenobi said.  I reeled back in shock. “You! Oh you make me so mad! I could just—.”
Before I could say what I could do to him Master Kenobi’s lips were suddenly on mine. I let out a muffled cry of shock before melting into the kiss. I felt Obi-Wan’s whiskers brush against my chin. His gentleness shocked me.  He then pulled away his arms up trapping me between them. “And if you or him got hurt I would never forgive myself. From the moment I met you (Y/N), you have captured my heart. I don’t know how but you did. And I didn’t know what to tell you so I was mean to you. And I’m a fool for it.” He said.
I blinked shocked. “So you like me?” I said. He nodded. I bit my lip. “Well I’ll be.” I said. I saw his blue eyes fall. “What?” He asked.  I shrugged. I really like you too Obi-Wan. But what about the council?” I asked.  He smirked. “Screw the council.” He said before smashing his lips onto mine once more.

friend
frend/ noun a relationship of mutual trust or affection
“My god!” Y/N squealed as her arms wrapped around her best friend and they swayed side to side. “You have no idea how much I've missed you, Allison!” Allison giggled and Lydia joined in on their hug.
“Look at us, all back together.” Lydia smiled as the girls stayed in their group hug, Allison in the middle.
It had been four months since Lydia and Y/N had seen Allison. After the death of her mother and the betrayal of Gerard, Mr. Argent and Allison needed some time away from Beacon Hills and they spent the whole summer in Paris. Of course the girls skyped, texted, and called each other everyday, but it wasn't the same as spending the summer together. It was the last night of summer and Allison had come back in town a couple days ago, but her and her father had to get settled in their new apartment before there was any visits from anyone.
“Okay, okay. Allison's getting squished.” Allison chuckled, the girls pulled from their hug.
Y/N grinned as her two friends shared their own hug. “We’re so happy to have you back, Alli.”
“Yep! And you owe us many shopping trips.” Lydia added as they pulled away from each other. The girls stood in the parking lot of Allison’s apartment building by Lydia's car.
Allison shrugged. “I'm not opposed to that.” The three girls giggled and got in the car to go where Lydia had already made plans for them, but she hadn't told either of them. She said it was supposed to be a surprise.
Y/N got in the back middle seat, Allison and Lydia sitting up front. “So, where are we going?”
“Well, I met this guy and he was really nice.” Lydia said as she started the car and pulled out of the parking lot, taking off down the street. “He asked if I had plans tonight and I said I did, so he invited some friends so us three could still spend the night together.”
“So it's a triple date?” Allison asked, her brown hair half up half down. That was pretty much the only thing about Allison that had changed this summer, her hair. Guess she just needed something new in her life.
“It's not a triple date, it's a group thing.” Lydia took her eyes off the road, looking at Allison before putting them back on the dark road in front of her.
“Do they know it's a group thing? ‘Cause I told you I'm not ready to dy back out there.” Allison said.
Lydia looked surprise, Y/N saw it in the mirror. “You're were in France and didn't do any dating for four months?” Y/N asked, her eyebrow raised.
“No.” Allison looked back and then to Lydia. “Did you, Lyds? I mean after…”
The strawberry blonde shook her head, cutting off the Argent girl. “Do not, say his name.”
“Is he okay? I mean, did everything work out?”
Y/N chuckled. “The doctors looked like total idiots when he showed up alive.”
“But everyone got over it.” Lydia added. “And yes, Derek taught him the Werewolf 101, like how not to randomly kill people during a full moon.”
“So then you've talked to him?”
Lydia shook her head slowly, looking to Allison briefly. “Uh, not since he left for London.”
“Does anyone else see how funny it is that there's an American werewolf in London? I mean, come on. Like that's not going to be a disaster.” Y/N chuckled. Allison smiled and shook her head, continuing the conversation.
“So you're totally over him?” Allison questioned. Her arm was against the window, her head resting on her hand as she looked at Lydia.
“Would I be going on a triple date if I wasn't?” Lydia snapped, but she wasn't mad. Allison and Y/N both laughed as their friend caught herself give up the truth.
Allison finished laughing before turning to look at Y/N. “And what about you?”
“What about me?” Y/N looked at her nails.
“You and Stiles. What happened with you two this summer?”
Y/N looked from her white nail polish, quirking an eyebrow at Allison. “Why would anything happen with Stiles and I?”
“I saw how close you were that night in the warehouse.” She said like it was the most obvious thing.
“That doesn't mean that we have anything.” Y/N told her. Allison gestured for her to continue. “Fine, we talked like twice this summer. It wasn't anything important, nor worth repeating.” Y/N smirked at her friend because Allison knew that she wasn't getting any more than what Y/N had just told her. Allison rolled her eyes playfully and turned back around in her seat.
“That's what she says now.” Lydia mumbled and stopped at a red light. Allison heard her and started laughing, her smile bright and genuine. It'd been awhile since she was this happy.
Y/N frowned, leaning forward and in between her best friends. “What? Why are you guys laughing?” She asked. A blue vehicle pulling up caught her attention as she looked at Lydia. She saw it was a blue jeep. Not just any blue jeep, but Stiles’ blue jeep. Roscoe, she remembers him telling her one of the times they talked over the summer. Their conversation having been about the repairs he needed on the jeep after running through a wall that night at the warehouse. Her eyes met with Stiles’ whiskey ones. She was surprised to see the buzzcut he wore all of sophomore year was now longer brown locks of hair. She thought it made him look more mature. He looked… attractive. Well, more than he usually did.
Allison had finally realized that Scott was in the vehicle next to her and she began to freak out. She sunk back into her seat and begged Lydia to start driving, even though it was a red light. When Stiles saw her, he smiled and waved at her. He leaned over Scott and it looked like he was going to roll down the window, but before he could the girls drove off.
“You alright?” Y/N asked, leaning back in her seat. Allison nodded and briefly looked back at the jeep. Y/N could see the wheels turning her head and she knew that she was thinking about going back, maybe talking to Scott. After all, it had been four whole months.
“Lydia, stop. We need to go back and talk to them.” Lydia did as she was told and stopped the car in the middle of the road. Y/N looked back and wondered why Stiles’ jeep was stopped.
“They stopped, too. Why would they stop?” Y/N asked before Lydia gave her a pretty good answer.
“It's Scott and Stiles. Do you really wanna try applying logic to those two?”
A deer began to run towards the car, but neither of the girls had noticed until it crashed through the windshield, antlers first. A series of screams erupted from all of them and they hurried out of the car, trying to get as far away from it as possible. Shaken up, Y/N was terrified when she felt a hand touch her lower back. She gasped and turned to see it was just Stiles.
“Are you hurt?” He looked over her, making sure she was okay as Scott asked Allison the same question.
Y/N nodded and rubbed her hands together, attempting to push away the pit feeling she had in her stomach. “I'm fine.” She nodded. Lydia looked at the two, her eyes wide and obviously scared.
“Well, I'm not okay!” She exclaimed. “I am totally freaking out. How the hell does it just run into us?”
Y/N gulped. “I saw its eyes before it hit us. It was like it… it was like it was crazy.”
Scott slowly approached the deer, setting his hand on the animal. “No, it was scared. Actually… it was terrified.”
Lydia slapped her hand on the locker next to Allison’s, startling both Allison and Y/N, who had just walked into whatever conversation they were having. After the accident last night, Lydia’s car got sent to the shop for repairs, so Allison picked her up and brought her to school this morning. Y/N’s car was perfectly fine, so she drove herself to school. The triple date they had planned for last night was cut short and only Lydia attended the date. Y/N and Allison went home, deciding a deer crashing through a windshield was practically an omen.
Y/N smiled as she approached her two friends. “What did I miss?”
“Freshmen. Tons and tons of fresh men.” Lydia hummed with a smile.
Allison chuckled. “You mean fresh boys. Lydia, they're all fourteen.”
Lydia shrugged. “Eh, some are more mature than others.”
“You know, it's okay to be single. Focus on yourself for a little while, work on becoming a better person.”
“Allison, I love you.” Lydia smiled softly. “So if you need to do that thing where we talk about me and pretend we're not actually talking about you, it's fine. But I don't want a boyfriend. I want a distraction.” She looked down the hallway, quirking an eyebrow and smirking. Something had caught her attention. Allison and Y/N looked to see what their friend was looking at it.
“Brothers?” Y/N asked. In walked two boys, black leather jackets and holding black motorcycle helmets.
They looked exactly alike.
Lydia hummed and looked them up and down. “Twins.”
The three friends all happened to have the same first period class. English with Ms. Blake. Apparently, she was a new teacher. The girls walked into the classroom, taking their seats. Y/N noticed Allison had stopped and saw a certain someone, Scott. He looked around nervously, not knowing she would be in this class. “Alli, you coming?” She asked, Allison smiled nervously and followed into the classroom. There was three seats available on the row closest to the window. Y/N sat down in one seat, Stiles on her right, Scott on Stiles’ right. Lydia sat in front of Y/N and the seat in front of Lydia was supposed to be for Allison, but some guy sat down in the seat for Allison could. She looked around for another seat and the only available one was in front of Scott.
She awkwardly asked if she could take the seat, which only received a reply that was just as awkward. Y/N saw Stiles give his best friend a sarcastic thumbs up, a small chuckle came from her in response. The sound of her phone ringing pulled her attention back. She picked up the device to see a strange text from an unknown number:
“The offing was barred by a black bank of clouds and the tranquil waterway, leading to the uttermost ends of the earth flowed somber under an overcast sky, seemed to lead into the heart of an immense darkness.”
A woman walked into the classroom, reading the lines from her own phone. The new teacher. She told the students that this was the last line of the first book they would be reading this year. She also told them it was the last text they would be receiving in the class and to shut their phones off, so everyone did as asked. About ten minutes into class, Scott was pulled out of the classroom so he could speak with his mother while everyone worked on the assignment Ms. Blake had assigned to them.
Y/N sped through the assignment, nearly finished with it. Stiles looked around the room, taking his focus off the assignment before his eyes landed on the person they always landed on, Y/N. He watched her work, the eraser of her pencil on her plump lips as she read the directions, eyebrows slightly furrowed. Her legs were crossed and her hair fell in front of her face. He watched her push it back behind her ear before she wrote something on the paper in front of her. His eyes fell down to a bandage on her ankle.
“Y/N?” He whispered. She slowly turned her head, hesitantly pulling her eyes off of her paper. Her eyebrows raised in question of what he wanted. “What happened to your ankle?”
“Prada nipped me last night.” She shrugged.
“Lydia’s dog?”
She shook her head and put on a sarcastic smile. “Actually it was her designer handbag.” Stiles glared at her. She bit back a smile and nodded. “Yes, her dog.”
“Does he usually bite?” He asked. Y/N shook her head and bit her lip. “Okay, what if it's, like, the same thing as the deer? You know, like, how animals start acting weird before an earthquake or something?”
“So there's going to be an earthquake?”
“Or something.”
Y/N looked back at her paper. “It was just a deer and a dog, Stiles. I'm sure it doesn't mean anything.” A loud bang on the window startled everyone. The students looked at the window to see a red liquid sliding down the glass and a black swarm flying directly toward the window. All of the birds that were flying toward the window eventually broke the windows, the glass shattering as they flew around in the closed classroom. The students began to scream in terror as Ms. Blake yelled, telling everyone to get down. Y/N crawled on the floor, trying to get down as a bird began flapping around her head. Stiles pushed her desk away and brought her into his arms, using his body to cover hers.
All of the birds eventually stopped and some of them dropped dead as the others flew back out the window. The students came up from the ground, their faces all wearing a look of shock. Most of their hair was either messed up or had black feathers in the strands. Stiles held Y/N against his chest as he pulled her onto her feet. Looking around the room, the desks were in disarray, black birds and feathers on the floor and desks.
Once is an accident.
Twice is a coincident.
Three is a pattern.
Allison drove down the road, following the yellow school bus, trying to keep a safe distance away from it. “Am I getting too close? I'm getting way too close, aren't I?” She asked, looking to Y/N who sat in the front seat next to her, Lydia in the back studying.
Y/N shrugged. “Well, that depends. Are you following the bus, or are you planning on mounting it at some point?”
The huntress bit her lip. “Yeah, I should back off.”
“Well, that also depends.” Lydia said from the back seat. “Oh, do you mean the buss or the ex boyfriend you're currently stalking?”
“Well, after what happened, I'm not letting him out of my sight.” Allison said, Lydia hummed in response. “And by the way, this all happened when he came knocking at my door.”
Y/N tilted her head to the side. “For what?” Allison went into explaining how Scott had came to her apartment after he found one of her titanium arrows at the school and how he warned her about staying out of the alpha pack, darach problem they were having. Y/N didn't know much about the supernatural problems that were going on, other than there was an alpha pack in Beacon Hills along with a darach that was making human sacrifices. Stiles refused to tell her anything, still wanting to keep her as far away from the supernatural as possible while still knowing about about it.
After a while of being stuck in traffic, Y/N noticed that Allison was running low on gas. “So is that whole “not letting them out of your sight” thing literal or more of a general rule?” Y/N asked as she looked at her freshly manicured nails.
“Why?”
“You're running low on fumes.” Lydia said from the backseat. Allison groaned as she saw that she was in fact low on gas. “And I'm pretty sure that bus holds a lot more gas than this Toyota.”
“What if we stop?” Y/N suggested.
“Is it really a big deal if we lose them? We know where they're headed.”
Allison shook her head. “You didn't see what happened.”
“I know who started it.” Lydia mumbled.
Y/N turned to look at the strawberry blonde. “Is that what Aiden told you?” She cocked an eyebrow.
“Aiden? Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold on a second.” Lydia leaned forward in her seat. “Is that why you invited me on this whole road trip thing? Oh my gosh. You're keeping an eye on them and me.” She gasped.
“So there's nothing going on between you two?”
“I'm appalled by that insinuation.”
“Nothing?” Y/N asked.
“Nothing.” Lydia confirmed as she pulled out her red tube of lipstick and compact, looking in the mirror as she applied it. A smirk on her red lips. Both Allison and Y/N looked at her, knowing that Lydia wasn't being truthful. She looked at her best friends. “What?” Y/N and Allison turned back around with smiles on their knowing faces.
Y/N read her book as the girls sat in traffic, having been in the same spot for nearly ten minutes. Her phone rang in her purse, Y/N pulled it out, looking at the caller ID.
Stiles.
“It's Stiles.” Y/N announced.
Lydia leaned forward with a smirk as she looked at Y/N. “Ooh, please. Do answer.” She gestured to the cell phone. Y/N shook her head and slid her finger across the screen, answering it and holding it up to her ear. Lydia leaned her closer to the phone, trying to listen to their conversation, she hoped to get something juicy out of it.
“Hey, Stiles! Yeah, we’re just about to walk into a movie, uh, you know, the popcorn and -”
Stiles cut her off, reading through her lie by just her voice. “I know you guys are right behind us. Put me on speaker.”
Y/N immediately obeyed. “Yeah, definitely.”
“Okay, look. Scott’s still hurt.”
Allison frowned. “What do you mean still? He's not healing?”
“No, he's not healing. I think he's actually getting worse. The blood is turning, like, a black color.” He mumbled, sounding disgusted at the thought.
Y/N chewed her lip nervously. “What's wrong with him?” She asked.
“I don't - do I have a PhD in lycanthropy? How am I supposed to know that?” He exclaimed. Y/N rolled her eyes.
“We need to get him off the bus.” Allison told him.
“And take him where? A hospital?” Lydia tilted her head.
Allison nodded. “If he's dying, yeah.”
Y/N remembered the rest stop up ahead. “Stiles, there's a rest area about a mile up. Tell the coach to pull over.”
“Yeah, I've been trying.” He told her, sounding fed up with Coach Finstock.
“Well, reason with him.”
Stiles scoffed. “Reason? Have you met this guy?”
“Stiles, please, just try.” She begged. Stiles eventually agreed and they hung up. Allison smiled in victory when she saw the bus pull into another lane, heading towards the rest stop. The bus was only going to be stopped for thirty minutes. Scott’s condition was psychological. Somatoformic, a physical illness from a psychogenic cause. He wasn't allowing himself to heal because he was still mentally recovering from Derek's death. Allison stitched him up while he was unconscious, Lydia, Stiles, and Y/N outside the bathrooms, making sure no one went in and saw what was happening. Isaac got in a fight with Ethan, Scott exited the bathroom looking much better than before and he stopped the fight before the students got back on the bus.
The girls were still low on gas and figured it would be better to go on the bus instead of in the Toyota. Lydia sat by herself, studying while Allison sat with Scott and Y/N sat with Stiles. Stiles and Y/N began to discuss the darach and everything that was going on in the pack, much to Stiles’ refusal. “Stiles, you can tell me about all of this.” She looked at him, watching him chew on his lip.
“I don't want you to get hurt. It's best to just keep you out of it.” He told her.
“Well my best friends are a huntress and some kind of psychic, Scott is a werewolf. As much you may not like it, I'm a part of it. I'd be safer if I was in the know.” She argued. Stiles sighed defeatedly, nodding in agreement. “So are you going to tell me?”
“All right. Let's go over the sacrifices.” He began to move his hands around as he spoke. “So it's the sacrifices, right? Everything has to do with them and someone who thinks he's, like, a dark druid.”
“Or actually is a dark druid.”
Stiles nodded. “A darach.”
Y/N stayed silent for a little bit, racking her extensive knowledge on ancient cultures to see if she remembered anything about darachs. Finally, she remembered something. “You know, some ancient cultures sacrificed people in preparation for battle.”
Stiles widened his eyebrows in disbelief. “So we got alpha werewolves against a dark druid.” He sighed. Y/N watched his face, practically seeing the wheels turn inside his head. He ran his hand over his face, fingers going through his brown hair. The sunlight streamed in through the windows, making his amber eyes shine and the specks of different colors stand out. For the smallest moment, Y/N got lost in his eyes, thinking how they were the warmest and most beautiful shade of brown she'd ever looked into.
Y/N nodded as she looked away from him, still thinking of his eyes. Of him. “Yeah.”
The pack was spending the night at the Motel Glen Capri. A hotel that lived up to the creepy feeling one would get from the motel. Even looking at the motel was uncomfortable. Coach Finstock had stopped the bus at the motel since the cross country team had missed the meet and needed somewhere to stay for the night. This motel was the only one with enough vacancies for the students. Lydia had stated her bad feeling about the motel as soon as she stepped off the bus and looked at the building. She said a lot of things could happen in one night.
She was right.
A lot of things had happened that night. The hotel seemed to be cursed and it was making all of the werewolves act weird. Isaac, Boyd, Ethan, and Scott were the only who were being affected. They seemed to almost be sacrificing themselves. Y/N and Stiles had saved Boyd and Isaac while Allison and Lydia tried to find Scott and make sure he was okay, but there was no sign of him anywhere.
After saving Boyd and Isaac, Stiles and Y/N met back up with Lydia and Allison. “We can't find Scott anywhere.” Allison told the two as they walked down the stairs to the parking lot.
“It's happening to him to, isn't it?” He panicked.
“It has to be.” Lydia agreed.
Y/N perked up as she remembered Stiles saying something about another flare. “Stiles, you said there was another flare on the bus.”
Stiles nodded as he hopped off the last step of the stairs. “Yeah, I'll get it.” He stopped in his tracks, Y/N walked into him on accident, wondering why he stopped walking. She followed his eyes to where was looking. Scott was standing in the middle of the parking lot, drenched and holding the last flare. The group approached him slowly. Allison was the first to speak.
“Scott… Scott?” He stayed still, the flare ignited in his hands as he shivered slightly. His feet in a puddle of an unknown liquid. Y/N looked around for an idea of what the liquid was before she smelt it.
Gasoline.
The group stood in front of him, waiting for what he would say or do next. He looked so hurt, so broken. His face wasn't in its usual smile as he had an internal battle with himself. “There's no hope.”
“What do you mean, Scott? There's always hope.” Allison whispered, not knowing what would set him off.
“Not for me. Not for Derek.” His voice broke the slightest bit.
The huntress shook her head. “Derek wasn't your fault. You know Derek wasn't your fault.”
“Everytime I try to fight back, it just gets worse. People keep getting hurt. People keep getting killed.”
Stiles shook his head repeatedly before stepping in. “Scott, listen to me, okay? This isn't you, alright? This is someone inside your head telling you to do this.” Stiles’ voice shook.
“What if it isn't? What if it is just me? What if this actually the best thing I could do for everyone else?” Scott asked. Y/N felt her eyes sting with tears, her hand covering her mouth so no sobs would escape. “It all started that night, the night I gotten bitten. You remember the way it was before that? You and me, we were… we were… we were nothing. We aren't popular. We weren't good at lacrosse. We weren't important. We were no one. Maybe I should just be no one again. No one at all.”
“Scott, just listen to me, okay? You're not no one, okay? You're someone, you're… Scott, you're my best friend. Okay? And I need you.” Stiles began to slowly walk towards the werewolf. “Scott, you're my brother. Alright, so,” Stiles stepped into the gasoline, gently reaching out to grab the flare in Scott's hand. “so if you're gonna do this, then… I think you're just gonna have to take me with you. Alright?” Stiles grabbed the flare, Y/N watching him carefully as he grabbed it and threw it away from the flammable liquid. She watched the flare roll towards the gasoline and upon the touch, a big flame grew. She saw it go towards Scott and Stiles and she panicked.
“No!” She yelled, running towards Stiles and pushing him into Scott, away from the fire. Allison and Lydia followed, all five of them falling to the ground as a big explosion sounded from behind them. Y/N fell onto Stiles, their chests touching and their faces inches apart. Her forehead was on his as her eyes were closed. She sighed in relief and slowly opened her eyes to see just how close Stiles was to her. Their noses were barely touching, their minty breaths mingled together as they stared into each other's eyes. “Are you okay?”
Stiles nodded slowly, his hands on her back. His eyes moved down to her lips, her own doing the same thing. As if all time had stopped and it was just them, they began to lean in. Someone cleared their throat and it snapped the two out of their trance. They pulled away, Y/N standing up and shaking her head before offering Stiles a hand to stand back up as well. Stiles smiled gently, thanking her for saving his and Scott's life. The action was small, but it was enough of a thank you, speaking louder than words. Instead of sleeping in the creepy motel, everyone slept on the bus. The seven teenagers scattered around the vehicle, trying to get comfortable in the seats. Y/N slept her own space, slowly falling asleep to the thought of the crazy night she had just had.
Y/N, Lydia, and Stiles walked down a set of stairs getting to their next class, anxiously waiting for news on Jennifer Blake. They were the only three at school. Allison and Isaac with Mr. Argent, trying to find information on Jennifer. Scott had sided with Deucalion after his mother was taken, not knowing how else to defeat the darach. The pack found out Jennifer was the darach, the one making sacrifices so she could defeat the alpha pack. The last set of sacrifices was guardians, parents. She already has Sheriff Stilinski and Mrs. McCall, she needed one more parent and then she would be able to complete the sacrifices. Stiles was on edge, anyone could see that he was freaking out about his father being taken.
Lydia checked her phone and groaned as they stepped off the stairs and into the hallway. “Aiden’s not texting me back.” She continued walking, Y/N following behind her, but they realized Stiles had stopped and they walked back over to him.
“Well maybe we could just go over there and-” Lydia's phone vibrated and she pulled it out of her purse. She looked at the screen, reading the text message as Y/N and Stiles watched her, awaiting the news. “What's going on?”
“It's from Isaac. Jennifer, she took, she has Allison's father.” She mumbled, looking at the two nervously.
“She's got all three now.” Stiles’ breath hitched in his throat, his lungs suddenly felt like they were closing and his chest was heavy.
Y/N turned to Stiles. “Hey, there's still time. We can fix this.” Stiles ran his hand over his face, his hands noticeably shaking. His eyesight started blurring, his eyes struggling to stay open. He started gasping. “Stiles? Are you okay?” She asked, putting her hand on his arm. He turned away from her, looking down the hallway as he tried to stabilize his breathing.
“What is it?” Lydia asked Y/N. “What's wrong with him?” Y/N shrugged and she swallowed nervously, looking back to Stiles.
“Stiles? What's wrong?”
Stiles turned back towards her, his hands moving wildly as he tried to speak. “I think I'm having a panic attack.” He got out, his breathing getting noticeably worse.
Lydia’s phone rung and she answered the call, Y/N still watching Stiles as he struggled to breathe. “Y/N, it's Allison. I've got to go.” She whispered. Y/N nodded quickly.
“It's fine. I'll take care of Stiles, you go talk to Allison.” Lydia nodded and turned away, walking down the hall. Y/N grabbed Stiles’ arm. She pulled him through the hall until she found the door to the boy’s locker room. She pushed the door open and threw her purse on the floor, pulling Stiles’ backpack off and tossing it next to her purse.
“Okay, come on. Come on.” She panted as she brought him to a set of lockers to lean shading them, but he fell into the metal and slid to the ground. Y/N kneeled on the floor in front of him. Stiles was still gasping for air. “Try to think about something else, anything else.” She suggested.
“Like what?”
“Uh, happy things. Good things. Friends and family.” Stiles looked up at her, giving her a look as if he was asking her if she was serious. “Not family. Oh, God. Okay, uh. Try and slow your breathing.” She told him as he closed his eyes and took deep breaths. He had a thin layer of sweat on his forehead and his breaths just got shallower the more he tried to slow them down.
Stiles held onto his chest, Y/N putting her hand on his shoulder as she looked at him, not knowing what to do exactly. “I can't. I can't.” Stiles gasped. Y/N cupped his cheeks and brought his head up to look at her.
“Shh, shh. Stiles, look at me. Look into my eyes. Shh.” She cooed, watching his eyes roam over her face before gazing into her eyes. His breathing slowed the slightest, but he was still breathing heavily. “Shh, Stiles.” She rubbed her thumbs up and down his face, trying to calm him down. She noticed his eyes flick down to her lips before looking back at her eyes. Y/N leaned in and pushed lips onto his, her eyes fluttering shut as her body warmed up. The warmth coming from her chest, right where her heart was, and spreading through her body. Stiles’ eyes widened as her lips moved against his, slowly closing as he moved his lips with hers. The warmth was now in Stiles’ heart. Her fingers ignited his skin as she gently touched his face.
Chapter three. She discovered it was him. It was Stiles. He was prince charming.
That's when it happened. That moment in the smelly boy's locker room was the game changer. The second their lips touched each other, Y/N realized that what she felt for Stiles wasn't just a feeling of friendship. It was more than that, so much more than just friends. No one gets a feeling like the one she did when you kiss just a friend. It felt like time slowed down. Like it was just them. It may have only been just them in the room, but it truly felt like they were the only ones on Earth. All of their problems faded away, even if it was only for a little while. She didn't know what it was or why she felt that way. She  couldn't name what she felt, but the feeling made her pulse race with excitement and fear.
She pulled her lips off of his, pulling away from him slowly. Her eyes stayed close as every moment she'd ever had with him flooded through her mind. When she saw him in the courtyard for the first time. The moment they met and she learned his name. The night of the winter formal when he brought her a corsage. When they danced and the song she would always love played. The ice rink. All of it. All of the memories had more meaning to her than they did when they actually happened.
Her eyes fluttered open and Stiles looked at her, before his eyes moved down to her chest where a light was emitting. She furrowed her eyebrows and looked down, his chest was glowing with a pinkish light. The light shone through his rib cage with each soft beat his heart took and she could see the darkened outline of his bones through his shirt. She realized that her own chest was doing the exact same thing. The glowing in both of their chests slowly died down and various thoughts were running through her head. Why were their hearts glowing? Was that even scientifically possible?
Instead of making things even more awkward, she decided to clear her throats and not mention the glowing hearts. Stiles exhaled, his minty breath hitting her face. His breathing was trembling, but it seemed to be more from nervousness than the panic attack he had earlier. “H-How did you do that?” He asked.
Y/N bit her lip. “I, uh, I used to had panic attacks when I was younger and holding my breath always made them go away. So when I kissed you, you held your breath.”
“I did?” He asked, looking at her in complete awe. He was still in shock that she had just kissed him. The girl he'd been dreaming of for forever shared one of the most intimate moments with him. The glowing was even more confusing. He didn't know what it was. He didn't know if he was so high on her that he was just imagining it or if it really happened. He didn't say anything in fear of ruining the moment.
“Yeah.” She nodded. “You did.”
Stiles sniffled, his eyes glowing in the light streaming in from the window. “Thanks. It was really smart.”
Y/N breathed out a laugh and smiled softly at him. “I don't know. I just didn't know what else to do. And if I was really smart, I would tell you to sign up for a couple sessions with a guidance counselor.
Stiles seemed to realize something, his head snapped up. “Morrell.”
Y/N dumped the last bag of ice into the third tub of water and herbs. Scott, Stiles, and Allison stepped into the back room of the animal clinic. Isaac, Deaton, and Y/N standing around so they could help with the surrogate sacrifices and save their friends’ parents. Lydia would be arriving later. “Alright, what'd you bring?” Deaton asked the three sacrifices.
Stiles looked at the object in his hand. “Um, I got my dad's badge. Jennifer crushed it in her hand, so I tried hammering it out a bit. Still doesn't look great.”
“It doesn't need to look good if it has meaning.” Deaton nodded.
“Is that an actual silver bullet?” Isaac asked, looking at the metal Allison held in her hands.
“My dad made it. It's kind of a ceremonial thing. When one of us hunters finishes learning all the skills to be a hunter, we forge a silver bullet as a testament to the code.”
“Scott?”
The werewolf sighed and pulled the item out of his pocket. “My dad got my mom this watch when she first got hired at the hospital. She used to say it was the only thing in her marriage that ever worked.”
“Okay, the three of you will get in. Each of us will hold you down until you're essentially, well, dead. But it's not just someone to hold you under. It needs to be someone who can pull you back, someone that has a strong connection to you, a kind of emotional tether.” Y/N looked at Allison and smiled, walking towards her. “Y/N. You go with Stiles.”
Y/N quirked an eyebrow, turning to Stiles who looked up at her. She smiled softly before Allison spoke up. “Are you sure? I mean, Scott and I both have to go under.” Y/N realized it made everyone a little tense because Isaac would have to push Allison down and they'd gotten pretty close lately.
“It's okay.” Scott nodded, but it wasn't difficult to see how heartbroken he was that one of his closest friends was with the girl he loved. He walked towards the tubs, not another glance towards Allison and Isaac as he walked past them. The three sacrifices took off their jackets and shoes, stepping in front of the tubs. Allison on Stiles’ right, Scott on his left. Stiles looked at Y/N who was behind him. She offered him a small smile, which he returned. They all shivered and took deep breaths as they got into the tubs of ice water.
“By the way, um.” Stiles looked to Scott and shivered as he spoke. “If I don't make it back and you do, you should probably know something. Your dad’s in town.”
Y/N, Isaac, and Deaton stepped forward, ready to do what they had to do. Y/N set her hands on Stiles’ shoulders. “I'm sorry, Stiles.” She mumbled so only he could hear. He turned around and looked at her. He brought his hand up to her left hand and covered it, turning back around.
“It's okay. I trust you.” He said with a nod. The three all got pushed down, submerging underwater and staying under until Deaton told them to let go.
“What do we do now?” Isaac asked, Y/N still looking at Stiles under the water.
Deaton sighed. “Now, we wait.”
“How long until they come back?” Y/N looked to the veterinarian.
“I don't know, it could be minutes, could be hours. We'll just have to wait.”
Y/N sighed and walked to the waiting room near the front entrance. She plopped down in a chair and let out a deep breath. Her hands were still wet, so she shook her hands a little bit to air dry them. She looked at the ring on her pointer finger. It was just a simple rose gold ring that wrapped around her finger, but it made her think. She got lost in the thoughts of what happened in the locker room earlier that day. The kiss, the glowing chests.
It'd been on her mind all day. He'd been on her mind all day. She couldn't help but wonder why her heart was glowing, why his heart was glowing. It couldn't have been something she'd just imagined. The kiss was real, it felt real. It was for sure real, she knew that much. But the glow, was that real? It had to have been real. The only reason she wasn't sure was because Stiles didn't say anything and she knew he would've had to have seen it, too. Even if it was real, what did it mean? Could it have meant that he loved her with his whole heart and she might've loved him just as much? Did it mean she had just a little bit of his heart, because he had hers.
She wasn't sure about anything except for one thing. Everything changed. It was all different now. She felt something bigger than what words could explain for Stiles Stilinski. When he touched her, her skin tingled, burned. She got butterflies in her stomach and her heart did a back-flip in her chest. Her pulse raced, she got a natural high when she kissed him. She knew that she had to tell Stiles how she felt, there was no way it could all stay bottled up. He had to at least know. But with everything going on right now, it's not exactly the best time to tell him.
She would have to hold off for a while.

Little Light ch 1
hey everyone just posting the first chapter of my ongoing Nalu fanfic, if you like the first chapter and don’t want to wait for more than feel free to head over to my ffnet . I am also editing some of the older chapters since I wrote them a long time ago compared to the newer chapters. Hope you enjoy.
 https://www.fanfiction.net/s/9487140/1/Little-Light
Lucy just sat there on her bed, staring at the object in her hands which were shaking lightly. The twenty-two year old blonde honestly didn't know what to think. Sure, she has been married to Natsu for around seven months now, and yea the topic has been tossed around in conversation at the guild every now and again, but she had never expected this to happen so suddenly or so soon. But the little stick with a pink plus sign in her hands had confirmed it. She Lucy Dragneel was pregnant.
As time passed by, Lucy quickly realized that she had been sitting on her king size bed staring at the little disbelief for over half an hour.
"Crap, if I don't get to the guild soon, everyone's going to worry and then they might start asking questions, I don't think I can deal with that right now" Lucy shouted to herself as she quickly got up off the bed still gasping the test in her hands. "Argh, what am I going to do with this" the blonde looked around in a small panic before settling her eyes on the small bedside take on her side of the bed turning towards the piece of furniture she hastily shoved the stick into one of the drawers before rushing to get ready so that she could head to the guild before they got suspicious of her absence.
"Morning everyone" Lucy shouted waving her hand enthusiastically in the air as she walked through Fairy Tails doors.
"Ah morning Lucy" Mira greeted before glancing at the clock above the bar "you're a little late today Lucy, is everything alright" Mira continued as the blonde strolled up to the bar.
"Yea umm sorry about that, everything is fine Mira, I umm just got a little bit distracted at home, that's all" Lucy nervously half lied since technically she was distracted by the test, as she sat on the barstool something about the guild hall felt a bit off, having a quick glance around the room her suspicion was confirmed "Hey Mira is it just me or is it rather quiet in the guild today?" causing the barmaid to giggle softly.
"Well since Natsu is out helping Wendy with some dragon slayer training today, Gray has gone with Juvia for a mission and Gajeel has tagged along on team Shadow Gears mission there's no one here to cause any fights today" Mira finished as she placed a strawberry shake in front of the other mage.
"Yeah, I guess that is true" Lucy smiled to herself at the mention of her idiotic husband and his habit of wanting to continuously fight Gray. 'I hope Natsu and Wendy finish their training soon. I want to tell him before anyone else….Crap, I didn't even think about how I'm meant to tell Natsu that I'm pregnant, what if he doesn't want a kid, what if..' Lucy began thinking to herself as she sipped from her milkshake.
"Lucy"
"Lucy"
"LUCY!"
Said women was brought out of her thoughts as she turned to the white haired mage with mild confusion on her face not realising that she had totally zoned out.
"Eh?" was her reply as she still tried to gather her thoughts.
"Lucy sweetie, are you sure you're ok? You do seem very distracted today' Mira explained worried for her friend due her unusual actions as well as her being unnaturally late today.
"oh ahh sorry Mira I hadn't noticed" Lucy nervously laughed but decided to continue at the look her friend was giving her silently telling her that she wasn't convince "actually there is something on my mind but I can't tell you yet, but I definably promise I'll tell you when I can and you know that celestial mages never break their promises and don't worry its nothing bad" She finished.
"ok than if you say so Lucy but if anything does come up just know that I'm always here" Mira said as she gently patted the blondes shoulder before turning her action back to the bar. After an hour had passed with nothing eventful happening except a few conversations with Mira and a couple of other mages, Lucy decided that it may be best to head home and think about ways she could give the news to Natsu.
"Hey Mira, I think I'm going to head out for the day, could you do me a favour and let Natsu know for me that I'll either be on a walk or back home thanks" Lucy waved goodbye to her friend as she walked out of the guild.
"But, Lucy, you only just arrived…..hmm, I wonder what's wrong with her today she seemed quite distant" Mira questioned herself as she placed her index finger onto her chin in wonder watching the girl leave not noticing the green haired women approaching the bar who was being followed by a black haired four year old boy.
"Haha, It's ok Mira nothing's wrong with her, actually in fact I think life at the guild may just got a little more interesting very soon" Bisca exclaimed leaning against the bar.
"Oh morning Bisca and Trent" Mira greeted as she smiled at the young boy who smiled back. "Bisca what exactly do mean by things getting more interesting soon?" the barmaid couldn't help herself but ask.
'Oh, nothing much, it's just, Lucy has that look to her' Bisca replied while attending to her son who was growing bored with the adults conversation.
'That look? What do you mean?' Mira questioned further frowning trying to figure out the hidden meaning the gun mages words.
'Hmm, sorry Mira, but if I'm correct, than it's not my place to tell, I have to go now, Trent's growing restless, so I'm going to take him back to Al and Asuka". Bisca answered as she picked up her son and walk away leaving a baffled, curious, and slightly frustrated Mira behind.

Lucy POV.
"Ahh Plue what am I going to do, I mean, there are so many different ways that I can tell him" I exclaimed to Plue, as I walked along the river bank towards a small hidden grotto in a park that Natsu and I had frequently visited back when we dating, as a temporary escape from the chaos that is known as Fairy Tail. As I entered the grotto, I leaned against one of the tree trunks before playing out a variety of different scenarios in my head, figuring out the best way to tell Natsu that I was pregnant. After realizing that I was actually beginning to act out some of the scenarios, I quickly decided to send Plue back to the spirit world, in order to refrain from embarrassing myself further. Once satisfied with the fact that I was alone, I continued on with figuring out the best way to tell Natsu about the news.
/)*(\
NATSU POV.
"Natsu-san, thank you for your help today" Wendy thanked me as we entered the guild together both feeling a slight exhaustion from the training.
'Hmm no problem Wendy' I half heartily replied, scanning the guild for Lucy, I have been rather worried about leaving her alone today, over the last few days she has been bit sick as well as having a lot less energy than usual, in fact, I was actually really reluctant to leave her alone for the day, but she had insisted that she would be fine and that I should go help Wendy with her dragon slayer combat skills, since the S-class exams are coming up in a few months' time. I continued to scan the guild I quickly noticed that Lucy wasn't present which caused me to worry a bit, if Lucy wasn't here than where would she be?
"Oh evening Natsu, Wendy, welcome back, how was the training?" Mira greeted in her usual cheery manner as she wiped a bar glass.
'It went pretty smoothly, Wendy's skills are definably improving…say Mira, have you seen Luce at all today?
'Oh, that's right, Lucy was in here earlier, she asked me to let you know that she'll either be out for a walk or back at your house, I am a bit concerned for her though, that was a few hours ago and she did seem rather absent minded this morning' Mira conveyed the message in a worried tone.
"Ah thanks Mira" I yelled as I ran out of the guild hall before heading for our house in hopes of either finding Lucy there or at least bumping into her on the way.
As I arrived home, I quickly realized that my celestial mage wasn't home. "Dammit Luce where are you" I muttered to myself, wishing that Happy was here, instead of being with Charle and Pantherlilly who were on one of their monthly visits to the exceed village, so that he can help me look for Lucy. I was about to leave the house so that I could search for Lucy, when I noticed that a strange scent was coming from our room, walking to the doorway I saw that Lucy's draw was opened "huh that's weird, Lucy usually keeps all her things closed, it also seems like the smell is coming from there" I thought out loud as curiosity got the better of me I walked towards the draw and opened it immediately noticing the object inside, my eyes widened in shock as I realized what the object was and what the pink sign on it meant.
/)*(\
LUCY POV
'Crap how did I not noticed how late it has gotten, I must've spent hours trying to think of how I should tell Natsu… and even now I still have no idea about how I am meant to tell him that I'm pregnant with his child, ahh…. this is so frustrating how can I call myself an novelist when I can't even think of a way to tell the man I love that I am pregnant, gahh that's it I'm just gonna come out and say it' I thought to myself as I walked home with a rushed pace.
After a few minutes of walking with determination I finally reached our house in the forest on the outskirts of Magnolia.
"I'm Home" I shouted as I walked towards the bedroom, not expecting anyone else to be home, so I was pretty shocked as I saw Natsu standing in the doorway of our bedroom holding my test.
"Lucy, what is this? What's going on? Natsu asked in a low shocked concerned voice. I took a deep breath as I felt the determined feeling leave, only to be replaced with a nervous and scared one.
"Well umm Natsu" I paused to take another deep calming breath.
"I'M PREGNANT".
That’s all for the first chapter, I’ll be posting the rest of the chapters here as well when I have finished editing them.

Time’s Lost Children, or: Mary Takes Care Of A Paradox
First part of a Destiny fix-it I came up with about 12 hours ago and that wouldn’t leave me be. I know, it’s been over a year, but be honest: can there ever be enough Destiny fix-its?
Rip was still shell-shocked when the Waverider touched down in front of the Refuge. Why had he not seen it before? His mission had been doomed from the start. What had he even been thinking?! He should never have gotten innocents involved! He should have returned them much sooner.
Now, Leonard Snart was dead, Kendra was kidnapped, Carter was not dead anymore, but brainwashed, and both would soon be murdered by Savage for the 207th and 208th time respectively. And after everything he and his crew had been through, Miranda and Jonas were still going to die.
He had just raised his hand to knock at the door, when it swung open and Mary stood before him with a pained look on her face.
“What have you done, Michael?”
Rip’s heart sank even further than it already had. “Are the babies alright?”
Mary waved him off. “The babies are fine, but you better see for yourself!”
Rip could feel the blood rush through his ears as he followed Mary into the house and down the corridors. He thought he spotted a wisp of strawberry blonde hair quickly hiding behind a door, followed by excited whispering. His young self was still safe, at least.
Mary opened the door to the kitchen and showed him through it. Teenaged Sara and Mick were sitting at the table, both looking spooked. Mick was gently rocking the little newborn in the dark blanket - Snart. Rip felt a jab of pain in his chest when he saw the child, now that he knew what destiny had in store for him. Behind them stood a cot from which Rip could hear the other babies cooing.
“What did you do?” he asked the two teenagers immediately.
“Nothing!” Sara insisted.
Mick shook his head. “It wasn’t our fault! I swear!”
“They had nothing to do with it,” Mary assured him and went to retrieve two cookies from the jar on the fridge to calm her guests. But she took one look inside and immediately turned to glare at them instead. Mick was suddenly very interested in the grain of the table, and Sara stubbornly held Rip’s gaze, but the cookie crumble on her chin betrayed her.
Rip turned to Mary. “What did happen?”
Mary put the cookie jar back and pointed at the cot. “Look.”
Rip did not know what to expect. Hesitantly, he peaked into the cot. There was Martin in his checkered blanket, quite large for a newborn; Jax in his green one, cute as a button and drooling all over Martin’s blanket; and… there was another baby wrapped in a dark blanket. Rip did a double take. He looked back over his shoulder where Mick was still rocking baby Leonard Snart. The children were identical, down to the adorable cheeks.
Rip blinked. “I don’t understand…”
“Neither do I,” Mary said, hands at her hips. “He just appeared out of thin air.”
“You think he’s a--?”
“A paradox? Yes, that’s my working theory.” Mary joined Rip and leaned down into the cot to pick up the second baby Snart. She gently stroke his cheek and the baby replied with a happy cooing noise. “He held himself, earlier, when you were all here. I realized it too late to stop him.”
Rip nodded, remembering the surprising image of Snart with a baby in his arms, a genuinely happy smile on his face. Again, he felt the pain in his chest. “Would that be enough?”
“I don’t think so,” Mick interjected. “Old me talked to me, and you don’t see two of me running around.”
Rip frowned at the boy. He would need more than one amnesia pill for that.
But Mary nodded. “He’s right. It only went on for a few minutes. Normally, that shouldn’t be enough for a paradox.” Her expression darkened when she turned back to Rip. “How did he die?”
There was a moment of silence as the meaning of her words sank in.
“Wait, he’s dead?!” Sara shouted, her eyes wide in shock. Beside her, Mick’s face turned pale and his grip on the baby in his arms tightened.
Rip swallowed around the lump in his throat. “How did you know?”
Mary looked pained. She had not wanted to be right. “I can see it on your face, Michael. He died and you blame yourself, so I doubt it was natural causes!”
Rip sighed. He sat down at the table and told Mary about the Oculus, about how the Time Masters had manipulated him, and how Leonard Snart had heroically given his life for free will in his partner’s stead. Sara and Mick listened with wide eyes and open mouths. When Rip was finished, Mick swallowed hard and looked down at the sleeping baby in his arms.
“He died… for me?” he asked, incredulous.
“You two share a bond,” Rip said. “He loved you very much. I am so sorry.”
Mick swallowed again and his eyes started to glisten. Sara awkwardly put her hand on his shoulder.
Mary swayed back and forth with her own baby Snart and nodded slowly. “Exploding the Oculus must have released a lot of temporal energy. That, combined with him holding himself while he was here, in this of all places… yes, that would do the trick.”
Rip stared at the baby in her arms. “What shall we do about them? I cannot return them both to his parents.”
Mick’s head shot up. “You can’t take either of them back! He’ll die!” There were tears running down his cheeks.
“Not putting him back would irreparably break time, including both your lives--” Rip tried to explain.
But Sara shot up from her seat and stood protectively in front of Mick and baby Snart. “He is a baby!” she shouted. “If you put him back you’re dooming him!”
Rip took a shaky breath. “I doomed him once already. And I’ll have to live with that for the rest of my life.”
“You can do right by one of them now at least,” Mary interrupted. Sara and Mick looked at her pleadingly, but she knew what had to be done. They could read it in her eyes.
Rip looked at her, thinking. “You want me to leave him here?”
Mary shrugged. “Do you have a better idea?” The baby boy in her arm shifted and she immediately started rocking him again.
Rip watched the child coo and thought of the brave man he would become. The man who had died as a result of Rip’s failures. “Would you really do that for me?”
“I’ll do it for him,” Mary said. “He might be the result of a paradox, but he is still a baby. And if anyone is equipped to raise a paradox-child, it is me.”
Raise him. A Leonard Snart that would grow up without the burdens of his childhood. Whatever that meant would have to be seen.
“Thank you, Mother.” Rip sighed and again looked from one baby Snart to the other. “Do you know which one is which?”
“I do,” Mary said. She paused, sadness in her eyes, as if she too was once more trying to think of any other way for this to go down, but she came up empty. Finally, she nodded at the baby in Mick’s arms. “That’s the one you brought here.”
“No!” Mick cried out, hugging the baby tightly. Little Leonard woke up and immediately started crying. “No,” Mick repeated and backed away from Rip. “No. No. No!”
“Mr Ror--Mick, please,” Rip pleaded with the boy. “He has a sister. A baby sister, who will need him to protect her.”
Mick shook his head stubbornly. “I can do that! I’ll protect her!”
Rip smiled sadly. “Oh, you will. But you won’t know her without Leonard Snart in your timeline.” Mick let out a shaky breath. His eyes were desperate, but Rip’s words were convincing. “So, please, Mick,” Rip said calmly. “Give me the baby.”
Mick hesitated. He was not actively trying to flee anymore, but he also did not look like he was ready to let go of baby Snart.
“Can he hold him until you give him back to his parents?” Sara asked, and Mick looked at her thankfully. “We need time to say goodbye.”
Rip sighed and nodded. “Yes. We can do that. But I have to return him eventually.”
Mary watched from her porch as the Waverider took off with the three babies and the two teenagers on board. She figured it would still be a fight, but her Michael could be very convincing. Though, if she was right, Sara and Mick would take the amnesia pills willingly - ignorance was bliss after all.
The baby stirred in her arms. She hugged the little boy in the dark blanket and whispered soothingly to him.
“I’ll take good care of you, Leonard. I’ll take you back to the start, so you’ll blend in with my other children. Those evil Time Masters may be gone now, but one can never be too careful. Don’t worry, dear. I won’t let anything hurt you. You’re safe here, Leonard. You’re safe.”

Pairing: Axl Rose x reader Words: 1979 Summary: Reader accidentally time travels back to 1985 where Axl, Duff, Slash, Steven and Izzy find her. Never say die masterlist A/N: Here you go again, sorry it’s a bit late but i try. I hope you like this one again, let me know what you think haha.
Tumblr media
Next morning i woke up alone in my own bed. I had been hanging out with Axl last night after the party and trying to forget what exactly happened. I didn't get myself drunk at the party nor did Axl, we both were probably a bit tipsy though but not too much at all. We had played board games, chatted and joked and when we finally were watching movie, which was like 2 am already, i managed to pass out on the couch next to Axl. I wonder if he already left back his home, i thought and got up from my bed. I was still wearing the top i wore last night so i changed it to a more comfortable black t-shirt which had a Led Zeppelin logo on it. I had already changed the skirt i had last night to a nice pair of sweatpants. I went to brush my teeth and thus opened the door to bathroom. But then i saw Axl standing in front  the mirror drying his long strawberry blonde hair, drops of water running down his body. It took me a while to actually realise that he was fully naked. ”Oh my god i'm so sorry! I didn't know you were still here,” i exclaimed and quickly turned around, not facing him anymore. He just chuckled, threw his towel over his left shoulder. I became a bit startled when he suddenly was standing right behind me and laid his hands on my shoulders. My heart had started to pump faster when his face came closer to mine. ”Oh, don't tell me you didn't like what you saw,” he murmured with a surprisingly low voice to my ear and i felt his amused smile. ”We could just continue where we left off last time after the bar night a while ago. Jon doesn't have to know.” I inhaled sharply air in my lungs. I didn't move and i must admit, just his voice made me already feel really aroused. ”You can't even imagine what kind of things i could do to you. After being with me, Jon would feel like a beginner compared to me. The pleasure i could give to you would blow your damn mind.” Fuck, can my body please control itself. Stupid woman hormones, shh this isn't what you want. You're with Jon, this feels too wrong. One side of me just wanted to turn around and take him right here and right now but my brain tried to assure me it wasn't right. I quickly shook my head and stepped away from Axl. ”No, no, no,” i laughed nervously and held my hands up, facing him again. He finally decided to put his towel around his waist. ”It's not gonna happen, don't even dream of it. I thought we were already over with the bar night.” I crossed my arms and rolled my eyes. I tried my best to not look at him on his eyes. Jesus, woman. Try to control yourself. He just laughed when he saw my reaction, i noticed how much he enjoyed teasing me. ”I was only joking, honey. I'd never let you cheat Jon with anyone, he seems like a great guy,” he said, winked and grabbed his clothes. ”But if you two ever break up and you change your mind… You know where to find me.” He winked again smirking and closing the door after him and left. God, why is he like that? --- Later in the afternoon i promised to meet Steven at the studio, the other boys were doing other stuff somewhere else so it was just the two of us. I had been practicing how to play drums for weeks already, i really wanted to become a drummer as well. Steven had been seriously the best teacher ever. I had tried playing drums a few times when i was younger but i just didn't have enough time to concentrate or something. I don't even remember. I was now trying to play Nightrain and i almost nailed it but not as well as Steven obviously. I finished the song and waited for Steven's reaction but he looked like he had listened probably just half of it or if anything at all. ”Hey, Amy?” Steven asked and stood up. ”Can i ask you something?” He looked a bit unsure and tried to avoid eye contact with me for some reason. ”Yeah? Is everything alright?” i asked worried. He scratched his neck with his right hand and was quiet for a moment until quickly shook his head. ”No, it's stupid. Nevermind, let's just continue,” he said and sat on a chair next to me. ”Noo, please, you can tell me anything,” i said and squeezed his hand reassuringly which made him look at me. I furrowed my eyebrows. ”I don't know if i want to talk about this to Axl, Slash, Izzy or Duff so could you please not tell them about this?” he asked and i just nodded and let a quick 'of course' out of my mouth. ”I mean, it's just. There's this one girl –” ”Oh my god! Is my Stevie having a crush?” i asked excitedly and hugged him tightly which made Steven blush and eventually look like as red as a tomato. ”No, shut up! I didn't say that,” he said in panic and when he noticed that i was listening attentively, he had courage to continue. ”It's just, she's the most beautiful woman i've ever met. I like everything about her, seriously. Her smile, her laugh… She's just amazing overall.” He scratched his neck again and laughed nervously. ”God, i sound such a cliché.” I giggled a bit but the look Steven gave me was a sign for me to shut my mouth. ”Well, have you told about your feelings to her? You should definitely ask her out.” He sighed. ”No, i haven't told her and i'm not going to do so.” ”Why not?” i asked confused. ”I'm sure she likes you as much as you like her.” ”No, she doesn't. She's already in a relationship with someone else, i can't ruin that and embarrass myself,” he huffed and rolled his eyes. ”I just wanted to get this out of my chest, i needed to talk to someone and you feel like the right person.” ”Well, that sucks. I'm really sorry,” i said and caressed his back with my hand. He smiled a bit. ”Yeah.” ”Do i know her?” i asked curiously. ”What's her name?” He was quiet and held his breath for a while until eventually decided to answer my question. ”Yeah, you know her but the name isn't important right now,” he said nervously. ”Well, if you ever want to talk about it, i'm here okay,” i said smiling. Steven turned his head to look at me. ”Thanks, Amy,” he said, was quiet for a while and i did the same. Soon he smiled widely, stood up again and changed the subject. ”So, let's stop this girly talk. Shall we continue before the others come back?” --- It was about 6 pm and i was taking a walk with Axl. We were walking down the street, both quiet for a while. There weren't many other passers-by near us, just a few. I had my hands in my pockets and Axl put a cigarette between his teeth and lighted it. He offered me one too but i decided to refuse this time. I wasn't sure if i should have taken the incident what happened in the morning part of the conversation but he seemed to be fine ignoring it so i did the same. ”Don't you ever just want to pack your bags and go to see the world?” i asked suddenly after a long silence and got his attention. He looked at me and smiled. ”Yeah of course. I've wanted to do it too many times,” Axl said. ”I've never stepped outside of the US. I want to travel, i want to see the world,” i said smiling widely and looked at the sky. ”I've never had money to travel, all of my friends had travelled atleast to like, three different countries and i was always so jealous because i had to stay at home all the time.” ”Well, you can totally come to our tours with us in the future. I couldn't just leave you here,” he told me and chuckled which made me smile. ”And, when i become a rich rock star, i'll take you anywhere you want,” he stated very proudly which made me laugh a bit. ”I'll take you to Italy, England and even Australia. Eventually we're gonna end up eating baguettes and drinking wine at the top of the Eiffel Tower some day for sure,” he said and winked. ”Oh stop with the lies, it's gonna eventually be just beer in some cheap French bar full of old drunk French men,” i giggled and Axl just shrugged but had to agree. ”But i'll remember that okay,” i stated and pointed at him with my finger. ”You owe me a trip to Australia some day.” He looked at me, pondering it for a while and narrowing his eyes. ”Okay, well, how about this,” Axl started. ”After 5 years in 1991, on this exact day, i will knock on your apartment's door and soon we're already sitting in an airplane heading to Sydney, just the two of us or with the other guys as well, whatever you want.” I looked at his eyes, smile creeping its way on my face. ”Promise?” He smiled and offered his hand which i grabbed almost immediately. ”I promise.” We stayed quiet for a while. ”Oh by the way, when's your next gig?” i asked, breaking the short silence, and looked at him. He looked at me quickly back before he lighted a new cigarette. ”Oh, it's in two days. You should come to watch it. The audience isn't big but it's something,” he said and chuckled. ”Well, i promise to be there,” i said smiling and nodded. ”Can i ask you a question?” he said suddenly. ”I'm just curious.” ”Yeah, ask away.” ”Have you been at our concerts before like, at bigger concerts than just at a bar or something?” he asked and chuckled. I chuckled as well. ”Just one. I think you found the ticket in which i was,” i said and smiled. ”It was really really great, seriously. I hadn't had an opportunity to go to other concerts. I was born a bit too late for that,” i said laughing and rolled my eyes. It made Axl laugh a bit too. But then i thought back at the day the concert was and the moments i stood there next to Amelie and Leo, spilled my water on some random guy's neck, cried during Don't Cry and cried even more during the last song, This I Love. I tried to remember the words Axl said before the song and when i finally realised who it was dedicated, i tried to hold my tears. How didn’t i realise it until just now? Soon Axl noticed that i hadn't heard what he had said to me a few seconds ago. ”Amy? Are you alright?” Axl asked concerned and i looked at him. ”It was about me?” i whispered but Axl was now even more confused than a minute ago. ”What was about you?” he asked again but didn't have time to say anything else since i put my arms around his neck and hugged him tightly. He furrowed his eyebrows but put his arms around me as well. ”Hey, what's wrong?” ”Nothing,” i said and closed my eyes. ”You know i love you so much, right? I love all of you and i don't know what i'd do without you.” He was still really confused what had gotten into me but tried to smile. ”Yeah, i love you too, Amy.” He kept a short pause and whispered, ”I love you more than you can even imagine.”
