i did the IB diploma rather than a-levels because it let me study the languages i wanted to do as well as english and philosophy, and when i was making that decision i had sooo many people warn me about how the IB was really hard and i’d regret it

but honestly the IB was fine. the hardest part was needing to keep studying maths and a science for 2 years because i am not a stem girly. the next hardest part was needing to explain to people what my final score even meant because who the fuck makes a point system that’s out of 45

meanwhile every other day i heard about my friends who stayed at the a-levels school having genuine breakdowns and crying in the middle of class
