this with batman and the batfam… like half the fandom is ppl projecting their tropey, boring, and literally abusive headcanons on characters theyve only read fanfic about. sorry but jason isnt a perfect angel who’s hides behind a tough guy persona, he’s killed people before. and dick isnt a himbo sunshine, he’s probably one of the more angsty batfam members. and damian isnt feral?? he’s methodical and calculating to a fault and a CHILD.

and they can stop pretending that the batfam consists of dick, jason, tim and damian. watching cassandra and duke get constantly shafted in favor of two adults who live in different cities is wild. cass and barbara have one of the best runs, with an interesting and complex mentor/mentee relationship but no one talks about it…

its honestly so weird to see characters like dick, jason, tim and damian get shoved into fandom categories that are so general and stereotyped you could describe it in two words.

tbh once your faves are getting put into incorrect quotes that dont really fit them its the beginning of the end 😕✊
