[3. How do you comfort your s/o when they have a nightmare of anxiety?]

Oh, that’s a super easy one to answer! Sav gets nightmares and nighttime anxiety pretty frequently, so none of us are strangers in what makes her feel better. After she takes some time to try and get herself figured out, she likes having her hands held while she talks out what she saw in her dream or what she’s feeling. Then we usually hold onto her until she can get back to sleep. There’s one thing that I like to do in particular, though– she has this weighted blanket that she likes to use, right? Well I just toss that over the both of us, and once she’s got her comfy spot all situated, I play with her hair until she conks out! Works like a charm every time! But the times it doesn't we just sit and talk until the sun rises.

[4. What is your s/o’s favorite food? Do you know how to make it?]

Sav’s got a lot of favorite foods– I don’t think she even really knows what it could be, honestly. 

*He chuckles a bit and shakes his head.*

But… she seems to like simpler meals the most, which is good for me, because when I cook it’s either gourmet quality shit or… I end up burning it. So easy stuff like mac & cheese or cup soup is a godsend for the both of us, haha! 

[8. What is something you love but your s/o dislikes, and how do you navigate this/keep the peace?]

Sav doesn’t really care for me smoking inside! :(((( She doesn’t mind me doing it regularly when we’re outside, but even if I light up and smoke out the window, it just bugs her. She’s usually pretty gentle in scolding me for it, and I don’t mind taking it to the porch instead of leaning in the window like I usually do at my own place, but I still feel like an ass when I do it without realizing it. She just looks up and gives me this look like a kicked puppy, and then I’m like, ‘OH.’ y’know? Sav’s such an easygoing gal, so doing that much isn’t a big problem; I’m just forgetful. 

*Jin looks like he wants to say more, but pauses and smirks.*

okok so i wrote like an essay of predictions and what i thinks gonna happen next on in the notes app on on my phone bc i was camping when i finished reading it so i had no service and couldn't go online and tell people my thoughts 😭😭

uhh im gonna put my main points (spoiler warning ofc also this is gonna get really long)

i think eves whole kidnapping thing is bc of eve (obviously bc like slate is working with her) but because eve wants gray's attention

i cant remember if she knows about lyra or not but still

i just think this because i dont think she would really want anything to do with gigi, just using her bc gray

basically my main point is i think the main plot glorious rivals is going to be about finding gigi (i hope im right and she doesnt get dropped of at home in like chapter three or these will all be incorrect)

when gray finds out what happened to gigi he will flip out. obviously savannah will too probably moreso bc like thats her twin but gray is very protective of them both so he'll freak out like crazy

especially once they inevitably put the peices together and realies why kidnapped her, he'll probably want to kill eve (i'd say not actually but i wouldn't be surprised if he genuinely did. i do so like)

i think that both grayson and savannah will like actually refuse to participate further in the grandest game until they find out what happened to her

and obviously avery and the others arent apathetic so theyre gonna understand and its either gonna be cancelled/postponed

and when they do pause/end the game, they arent gonna tell people why cause that'd cause more drama

omg also im forgetting her name but gigi and savannah;s mom. i feel like she's either gonna be a really big character in the next book or not in it at all, i dont think theres really gonna be an in between.

also xander was really starting to grow a friendship with gigi, so he'd be concerned too.

i want gray and xander to have more "screen time" together and like grow their relationship bc they have a funny dynamic but we dont see it a lot

also i keep forgetting to mention her but SAVANNAH

shes gonna be so worried omg and she will be even more angry and worried than grayson will be

she is going to blame it on avery, i mean she already doesnt like her because she "killed her father" and whatever but just like yk

i have a feeling that the teams from this book are gonna come back

like rohan is gonna be on savannah's side about this whole situation, also like avery and jamie dont like him bc the whole jamesons rib situation lmao so that wont be hard to convince him

and theyre gonna be against avery and the hawthornes because savannah doesn't like her

and then lyra and gray are gonna be on the same side obviously (excluding odette bc idk where she fits into all this)

and not gigi obviously but then knox and brady, theyll probably be doing their own thing??

idk knox is obviously kinda a jerk and i dont like him and hes not in the game anymore

but brady he might try to help gigi? im not sure what to make of him

i feel like each "team" is gonna be trying to figure out what happened with gigi?? idk like i said if finding her isnt the main plot this is gonna be a little embarassing

I'll be completely honest. I have no idea hahahah.

Love is a really complex thing and I have opinions about them but I'm ready to change my opinions if life serves me humble pie or smthg. Sometimes, I write stuff I do not completely believe in either so I can analyze my own ideas and my own thoughts on certain topics.

But I am a firm believer that if someone hasn't gone through bullshit with you and back, then you can't be too sure if they love you. I guess that's why I'm just very economical with the word love. I didn't even tell my boyfriend I loved him until years into the relationship lmao.

And to answer your question:

I think we can choose to love and consider love magic at the same time. They're not mutually exclusive.

People can choose to click if they are willing to give up goals, certain facets of their personality to make that particular relationship work. Relationships failing more often than not is because couples refused to give up parts of theoir personality or change their values into something which would have been more beneficial for the long term relationship as a whole. It takes two to tango.

I talked to a lot of married people and people in long term relationships and a lot of people have admitted to changing just to make the relationship work. Scratch that, I think everyone has to give up something or change in a few aspects to make the relationship work. It becomes a matter of whether or not, as a person, you're willing to give up certain parts of your personality, your identity, certain parts of life that have brought you happiness before just to make a relationship work in the long run.

It is inevitable, you will grow into a relationship if you allow yourself to. Even if you didn't notice it, you may have given up parts of yourself just to make a relationship with someone work.

And, you made some choice, whether conscious or not to change so that the relationship could flourish.

So in that aspect, love is a choice. Because people breaking up due to compatibality issues seems to me, in simpler words, that one or both parties just did not want to adjust or to grow into the relationship.

Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. There are so many relationships out there I REALLY HATE. Because like a lot of people I know actually turn into horrible people when they're in shitty relationships and I guess you can tell, they ended up giving up the wrong things to make the relationship work.

At the same time about the feelings thing, what is that weird feeling or that weird source of motivation which makes people actually do stupid things like decided to strip of certain values, habits or parts of their personlaity just to make a relationship work? Whats that weird feeling that will have us dropping a huge chunk of our income just to keep someone alive? That weird feeling which has us apologizing after a really long fight? And that motivation that gets us to do better next time?

Maybe that's love?

obviously caleb since sav would most likely rather die than watch it. especially when she is hungover, which inevitably she would be.
