After lots of idea tossing with @kalpeavaris we decided on the Absolute Solver being an ancient deity (of unspecified gender) whose physical body was slaughtered by their old following/cult. Its presence remains as a spirit in its old cathedral, waiting for its long lost kin to help it fulfill a prophecy... >:]

This version of the AS can influence people with special enchanted jewelry, and certain emblems are more dangerous/controlling than others. Let's just say it has a very special jewel for Cyn to wear

(the amount of jewelry worn can affect others too, so Cyn may or may not get dripped up later)

After years of being in the wilds by Camp 98.7, Faun had become something more.

(BTW, I do pair him with TessCyn :3c)

Bio:

Faun: Disassembly Drone (Murder Drones) Faun comes from an alternate universe where the humans not only defeated the Absolute Solver, but also subjugated the surviving Murder Drones. Generations after the ‘Taming’ of the Solver, Faun was created as both a ‘pet’ and a performer. He was acquired by the Elliot family shortly before the Gala, and was changed by Cyn. Faun's tail syringe holds a powerful cocktail of anesthetics.

Depending on verse, Faun could be found on Copper-9 as the 'Blue Drone’, one that appears designated as a 'wild variant’ to ones like N, J, and V. He lives by Camp 98.7, and primarily preys on Sentinels. Worker Drones he trusts wear segments of shed feathers on their vests.

The Fragmented Solver seeks to be made whole, and so Faun searches to be completed.

Slowly, the newcomer crept out. N gasped.

It was a Drone, but taller. He appeared to have been made from the bluest sapphires, eyes and a mysterious tail syringe glowing cobalt.

"This is Naiad Gems' Satyr Faunus, but his common name is 'Faun'" a Civilian Drone, a trainer, explained as he introduced the newcomer in the enclosure. "He is a Sapphire Drone. Despite the taming and polishing of Her Grace, ones like him can still be dangerous, so we will teach you to manage Faun. So let's begin. Faun, come here."

The Drone obeyed, looking wary of the new faces.

"Tail. Faun.." the trainer snapped fingers as Faun appeared distracted. "Faun."

Attention back to the trainer, Faun slipped his tail syringe into a box attachment to the cage.

"The stinger contains a powerful cocktail of anesthesia, and while Faun is trained to not sting, we take further precautions." The Trainer pulled the handle over the box, and a clunk was heard. The stinger portion came out, cut from Faun's tail.

"Uhhh, does that hurt him?" N asked, an arm around Cyn.

"It's a necessary part of keeping you and Faun safe. He might have momentary discomfort, but better for all of us."

N looked down at Cyn, his visor projecting "I DON'T LIKE THIS"

The Blue Drone

The Elliot Manor was abuzz with activity, with a gala coming up fast.

The Drones Tessa looked after had been adjusting to the newest one, Cyn, that was taken recently from the 'dump'.

N was tasked with helping a strange set of guests with a transport crate. He noted the warnings on the sides, and that inside was a Drone.

This storage room was quickly emptied of any furniture, and any windows blocked off.

"Ah, Cyn, hi... Look, I'm busy!" N was trying to be gentle to Cyn. He liked her enough, but worried her curiosity would get them both in trouble. "I'm sure we'll meet the new guy soon."
