We are really proud to announce that we will start the collaboration with a fantastic "jazz paintress" from Shangai but based in Berlin. "Satoyama with the collaboration of Lavia Lin wish to create an intimate dialogue between the two art forms-music and painting, to connect the diffent cultures togheter" We will start with a gig at Repete- jazz & okrepčila in Ljubiana and two more live set in Jazzit Fest this month, while in the autumn we'll be in Germany. ------------- ---- ---------------------- ----- Siamo orgogliosi di comunicarvi che in alcune date del nostro tour estivo presenzierà la pittrice Lavia Lin; la visione comune e trasversale dell'arte ci ha portati a collaborare insieme nel tentativo di fondere le nostre culture e trascinare lo spettatore in un "viaggio". Porteremo questo progetto a #Ljubiana al #Repete Jazz club e al Jazzit Fest#5 [Feltre, 23-24-25 giugno 2017] mentre questo autunno saremo in Germania.

Vi aspettiamo stasera al Centro Studi Sereno Regis, via Garibaldi, Torino. 

Si assisterà alla proiezione dei lavori più ricercati di alcuni maestri del cinema comico del secolo scorso, tra cui Charlie Chase, Harold Lloyd e Charlie Bowers, che pur non avendo mai raggiunto nel nostro Paese la popolarità di autori come Buster Keaton e Charlie Chaplin, hanno segnato indelebilmente la storia del cinema. Ad accompagnare le immagini proiettate saranno i Satoyama, uno tra i nomi più interessanti della scena musicale jazz torinese.

Il nostro Luca venerdì si è laureato brillantemente in tromba jazz, noi che lo abbiamo accompagnato gli auguriamo il meglio. Fatelo anche voi! ;) ---------------------- Our luca has just graduated in jazz trumpet at Turin Conservatory. Congratulations! See ya!

La fretta e l'ansia sono armi contro la creatività. Staremo fermi per un po', non sappiamo quanto; Il tempo necessario per lavorare al nostro prossimo album che, al suo interno, conterrà musica nuova, fresca e spontanea come una foresta che cresce !

Vi chiediamo un ultimo favore, guardate questo video che parla di cosa vuol dire la parola che da il nome al nostro gruppo. Satoyama è un concetto importantissimo per noi e non sempre durante i live è possibile spiegarlo bene.

Grazie a chi dedicherà 10 minuti della propria vita per questo video.

Hurry and anxiety are weapons against creativity. We'll stop for a while, we don't know how much; the time we'll need for our next album, which will contain new music, fresh and spontaneous as a growing forest!

We ask you one last favor, look at this video that talks about what the word that gives the name to our group means. Satoyama is a very important concept for us and it is not always possible to explain it well during live shows.

2017 was awesome, we got a lot music, concerts, and fantastic people, in the nearest future we will work on our next studio album that will be out in 2018. Can't wait to meet you live during this new year that will be, for sure more intense than the passed one! <3
