❝ he was a miserable, drunken brute, ❞  he slurs, pausing momentarily for another gulp of his flat beer,  ❝ who beat my mother and left us destitute. ❞  the truth spills out before he can stop himself. never before has dio spoken so openly of his hatred for his birth father — he feels overcome with frustration, incensed that he should suffer such an embarrassing outburst at this blasted party, of all places. swallowing his pride in a vain attempt to save face, he says,  ❝ he did not deserve to call himself my father. every opportunity i've been granted, i owe to mr. joestar. ❞

☆ I would say yes.

I totally get along with Vasco. I'm not much of a talker, despite all the ramblings I do online. I am on the quieter side irl. So, he probably doesn't mind me being quiet. That and we would get along because we both are caring. He might get taken back by how optimistic and cheerful I am. Given how Constantin was when he first introduced himself to Vasco, he totally would be taken off-guard, though he will end up not minding at all. And another thing is that we are both passionate. Of different things, of course, but passionate nonetheless.

Plus, I don't mind hearing his poems he has read about at all. I'm not sure if I enjoy being sway by them, given I never had that kind of experience and can't say for certain if I do or not.

👗An attic full of musty clothes and antiques belonging to someone long-dead

the montgomery mansion attic is a museum of lives cut short. it's littered with boxes, trunks, old toys strewn about, and abandoned furniture. tsk tsk. today their task at hand is cleaning out some of the miscellaneous clutter ... though dolores hasn't done much of that. they've gone through one chest — that is to say, they are still going through it. every item pulled out has a story to accompany it; everything within the trunk once belonged to the blushing bride before her untimely death.

"and this — !" dolores sets aside one of many KNICK-KNACKS that have been unearthed from a blanket of dust. there is a growing pile beside the chest, none of which she intends to give away.

the next item to receive its turn in the spotlight is a lamb figurine. adorable and once as white as freshly laid snow ... now yellowed with age & chipped. time's cruel ravages do not grasp dolores's attention ... but a dark brown crust tainting the lamb's belly and mouth.

she frowns and tips the porcelain animal upside down to investigate further. "... i wonder what happened to this," dolores mumbles with a furrowed brow. the bride tilts her head before casting a perturbed glance at satomi. "... it almost looks like BLOOD, doesn't it?"
