Three ships: Sasodei (Sasori and Deidara from Naruto), Zutara (Prince Zuko and Katara from Avatar: The Last Airbender), HayaRyu (Hayato Kamitani and Ryuuichi Kashima from Gakuen Babysitters Club).

Okay but what if Sasori was a Siren.

And every year, his enticing song and his enchanting beauty leads hundreds, thousands of sailors to crashing into the rocks to die an untimely death.

But Sasori doesn’t want this to be the case. He didn’t ask to be born a siren. All he’s ever wanted is to be able to talk to someone. But his inherent nature makes the deadly song bubble up in his chest and push past his lips, and he’s sad over what happens but isn’t able to help it.

But what if one day a man sails up, alone, on a small boat. And Sasori, like always,goes into his song. But … the man on the boat doesn’t seem at all affected. In fact he’s able to sail directly up to Sasori’s rock.

And the man opens his mouth and greets Sasori. He takes off his hat and bows his head and the wind blows his long blonde hair around his face. He speaks slowly, he tells Sasori that he’s deaf but can read lips. He tells Sasori he lost his map and he’s supposed to be bringing a shipload of goods to X-town port but lost his way. 

Also speaking slowly, Sasori carefully outlines the route for him.

The man smiles, thanks him, and sails away.

And Sasori is in awe the rest of the day, that he’s had his first conversation with another living being in … well, ever.

But he puts it out of mind, thinking he’ll never see the man again. Until about two weeks later, when the man sails back up to Sasori’s rock. He slowly tells Sasori that this has become a regular trade route for him, and he’ll be passing by twice a month. He gives Sasori a handmade necklace, with beads made out of clay with little pictures painted on them, to thank him for giving him directions that first time.

Sasori asks him for his name, and the man smiles and tells him Deidara.

And the two develop a friendship.

Maybe something more.

I don’t know, I’m not really a writer. But I think this would make a nice AU concept? Maybe?

Thank you for the compliment on my sasodei works 😊 And to answer your question, um, in all seriousness I’m not looking to be in a relationship anytime soon. I started this year by getting out of a somewhat abusive ten year ordeal and I’m enjoying being single and making my own decisions for once in my life. Even tho it feels like the stuff I decide is wrong. Still MY choices.
