[ 🧱 ] how would you describe your muses’ morality? what are their core values?

juliana has quite traditional opinions around duty and honour and gender roles, and this governs a lot of her values throughout her life. even as a young girl she would have done near about anything to serve or protect her family, and this loyalty shifts to aemond and his family once she is married. she is, at her core, a kind girl, but she also does not blink an eye at aegon usurping rhaenyra because, in her mind at least, it is his right as viserys’ first born son. she is very hypocritical and trapped within the system in that regard. after her betrothal to aemond and spending more time with alicent she also becomes quite devout, which is dangerous within itself.

[ 🤝 ] how does your muse approach intimacy? are they hesitant, or do they like it? what types of intimacy do they like and dislike? (ex. physical intimacy, sexual intimacy, emotional intimacy, etc.)

hesitantly. she is definitely her father’s daughter in that regard, and is not one for any outward displays of affection or intimacy, especially not in public. it’s improper, for starters, and she also prefers to keep a layer of protection between herself and others. with aemond she is a bit more open, in part because she know it’s her duty to be a good wife to him but also because she does genuinely come to love him, but there is still a distance there. as she gets older and more comfortable in her skin she does learn to find the pleasure in intimacy, but there will always be a level of coldness to juliana.

ravens as a signal of a coming death, darkness flecked with gold, makeup smudged from tears, corsets as armour, stag antlers, gold filigree, archery.

[ 🙏 ] what does your muse need? this can be something material or something abstract.

she needs a duty or cause, something to commit herself to. she needs understanding and quiet. she needs someone to look at her and tell her she is a good daughter or wife or lady of the court. she needs validation.

🍑 where is your oc’s favourite place to relax or calm down? recount a story of their time spent in this place! what makes it so special to them?

either her quarters or the meditation gardens at the jedi temple. her quarters were always a good place to relax because there was never the worry of anyone intruding on her space, whereas the meditation gardens, while very quiet and relaxing, were still a public space in the temple. sara would often also spend time in the youngling teaching chambers, especially the one with the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city below. if she squinted out over the city, she could almost feel like she was part of it.

💧 what is the earliest memory your oc can recall? do they know what their first words were or remember where they took their first steps? do they have any mementos of their childhood they’ve kept such as a stuffed toy or tiny baby clothes?

the temple. she has no memories of atoa or her family - she was only two when she was given to the jedi. her earliest memories are of the temple, with it’s washed-out beige walls and robed-figures and the force as it thrummed through it’s walls. she was raised in the sterility of the temple, and it was the only home she ever knew. 

💋 how affectionate are they with their friends? their family? their romantic partner(s) (if they have any)? are they more physical or emotional when it comes to displaying their affection? why?

sara, in general, is not a very affectionate person. it’s not that she doesn’t care, but she was raised to be cold and closed off, and doesn’t really know how to express herself so openly like that. dane knows she loves him, because of course he does - her thoughts are an open book to him, and he learned to read them a long time ago. with other people, sara struggles. after the order falls and she spends some time away from the pressure and weight of the jedi, she starts to learn how to be a functioning, emotional person again. mostly, she just wants to be kind.

🌹 how easy is it for them to connect with others and make friends? on the flip side how easy is it for them to make an enemy of someone? are they the kind of person who hangs around the food table at a party and never talks to anyone or are they the type who can talk to anyone?

sara doesn’t make friends easily. during her years at the temple she lived in a mostly self-imposed isolation, only interacting with the younglings in her classes, some of the other instructors, and yoda. she would avoid the public eating or training spaces, would not leave the temple under any circumstances, and if someone did try to engage her in conversation she was always just a little too formal and distant for any real connection to be made. some people in the order, like obi wan and yoda, respected sara for her dedication to the cause and her skill with the younglings; others, like anakin, were never really able to Understand sara and her quiet distance from them. many of the young padawans at the time of the clone wars were taught by sara at some stage, like ahsoka, and most of them liked her a lot, but it was still a bit awkward in the halls of the temple. she’s not the type to just strike up friendly conversation.

i should have expected this afhsdfh!! lyssa's route starts with her sending barbs and her dry humour at you (as a way to keep some distance mostly) until she loses the energy to be snarky or bitchy, so then you're just sitting together in silence until she quietly admits that she enjoys your company. very slow and tentative and learning how to trust, because she doesn't have a great track record with relationships of any kind (see: backstory LOL). even once you're in a relationship she's not super touchy or affectionate in public, but she Will become insanely protective of you and is very attuned to your emotions (she knows if youve had a bad day the Second you walk in the door).

on the other hand, nuala's route is all about sharing interests and books and cute museum dates!!! you dont know this because she's good at keeping herself composed but she blushes in private after you do anything cute for her!! but there's an undercurrent of you not knowing if you've ever seen the Real nuala because she always keeps up ten thousand walls even when doing romantic things with you. it takes a lot of pushing on your end to get her to relax, but even then nuala struggles to let others in and always keeps some distance from you - it probably drives a wedge between you in the end, honestly, because nuala's fatal flaw is that she's always refuses to rely on others in the very end.

[ 😱 ] does your muse have any specific fears? where did those fears come from?

not really. she came to fear malekith a bit after seeing him sacrifice the majority of his own people to save his own skin (and get some payback against bor and his army). it was less fear and more anger though. fear is a feeling she’s not especially used to, because she has always been the most dangerous thing in most rooms and weaker emotions like fear were beaten out of her young. she feared thanos, in the sense that he had such tremendous power at his fingertips. she still fears losing her loved ones.

[ 💍 ] does your muse have a “type” of people that they prefer to enter relationships with? is their type generally compatible with them, or does the dynamic tend to be toxic?

lyssa has had only a handful of serious relationships in her long lifetime, and always tended to gravitate towards quieter, more stoic people. it’s not that she dislikes extroverted or loud people (she is friends with livia, after all safgsd) but she has always prefered being in romantic or sexual relationships with people who can appreciate just sitting with your thoughts. she likes having more varied friends though, and isn’t attracted to a specific kind of person when it comes to being friends (although most of her friends are quite traumatised rip).

[ 🐱 ] does your muse have pets? did they have pets as a child? how do they feel about animals?

no. she’s never been very good with animals and also never had the space for one - living on a massive space ship while being brought in and out of stasis for five thousand years wasn’t really the best environment for pets. her and bucky might adopt a cat or something though. i can see them having a black stray.

[ 💛 ] how empathetic is your muse? how compassionate are they? is this something people expect from them, or are people surprised when they find out how compassionate or empathetic they actually are?

not very. it’s not that she doesn’t care, but she’s never been very good at empathising with other people, mostly because she’s never really understood her own emotions very well. even after she’s been on earth for a while and has learned to be a bit softer around the edges, she still struggles with kindness and compassion. it’s such a foreign thing to lyssa, but she’s trying. most of the time her compassion comes off as a bit begruding though.

[ 🔮 ] what is your muse’s relationship with religion and spirituality? were they raised in a certain religion? have they stuck with the same set of spiritual beliefs all their life, or have they changed over time? are they settled in their spirituality now?

she’s never considered herself a particlarly religious person, but she was raised learning about the beliefs of the dark elves and wasn’t entirely against the idea. the only real belief she has kept all these years later is the dark elven thoughts around death, and that your essence is returned to the dark matter in the corners of the universe when you die. she likes to think she’d be welcomed, because she doesn’t think she’d be let into the asgardian afterlife despite her blood. 

[ 🤷‍♀️ ] how does your muse approach strangers? how does this compare to how they interact with close friends or lovers?

lyssa is generally a bit standoffish and abrasive, or at least she appears that way. the fact that she has a very harsh resting bitch face doesn’t help. these days she’ll try at being friendly but it doesn’t always work. she doesn’t like being recognised on the street. 

[ 🧸 ] does your muse keep anything sentimental? if so, what do they keep and why?

no. lyssa has never been a sentimental person and never had many personal belongings to be sentimental over - being able to create anything with her powers made things easy to replace. she tends to create her sword in the same style as she has for centuries though, if that counts. 

[ 😍 ] does your muse believe in true love? why or why not?

she never used to. she still doesn’t, not really. she believes in love though, and the power of it, and as much as she fought it she knows she’s in love with bucky. for lyssa, that’s enough.

1. what’s the one thing they would save in a fire?

lyssa — herself, or any of her loved ones. lyssa has never been a very sentimental person and doesn't feel very attached to her physical belongings (not that she has many to begin with). she might save some of her more expensive clothes i guess.

nuala — her books! she loves reading and has a small collection of ancient tomes and the like in her quarters, and would die before they got burned up (most of them are first editions).

3. how would they fare in a zombie apocalypse?

lyssa — amazing. lyssa is well practiced at surviving, and even if reverting back to old habits would be hard at first, she'd fall into a routine quickly. she might get roped into helping a resistance of sorts though.

nuala — quite well too. she'd disappear, isolate herself in nature somewhere far enough away from civilisation that no one (alive or undead) would ever find her. she spent years alone in the wilderness in her late teens, and so is used to sustaining herself in the wilds alone. it would be a lonely, quiet existence though.

19. how’s their financial situation?

lyssa — pretty good. i'm not sure if superheroes get paid (?) but i always imagine her being quite comfortable financially.

nuala — money has always been of little consequence to nuala, even if she does amass quite a substantial amount of wealth as inquisitor. she is quite possibly one of the richest people in thedas by the time of corypheus' defeat, but nuala has never carried herself as snobby or arrogant (about money, at least).

28. who, if anyone, do they dislike most?

lyssa — she always had a love-hate relationship with most of her dark elven peers, and was never very fond of any of them. she also dislikes tony, but that's out of spite more than anything.

nuala — cole, because he makes her Very uncomfortable (not because he's a spirit, but because he has a tendency to voice her thoughts when she'd rather them remain hidden). also cullen. ironically, solas is now on her list.

48. are they a good kisser?

lyssa — yeah!

nuala — not really. she tends to be a little too rough, a little too sharp, but she's not that bad.

58. if they could change one thing about their life, what would it be?

lyssa — part of her wishes she’d never been taken by malekith and that she could have been raised by her parents in peace, but then she’d be an entirely different person to who she is now and that’s an .... uncomfortable thought for lyssa. she likes who she’s become, all things considered. 

nuala — she wishes she could’ve learnt the truth (or at least, solas’ truth) about the dalish sooner, wishes she could’ve convinced him to stop and wait for her to catch up, wishes he would’ve given her a chance to voice her opinion before he disappeared through that eluvian. she wishes, above all, that she could’ve done more with her reign as inquisitor besides being propped up by other people.
