. . • Green Friday • Kanjeevaram Green • Sari Aficionados • . . There was a #kanjeevaram week going on among the sari aficionados. That suddenly reminded me that airing out the silks has to be done now. I haven't been wearing too many saris lately, and Kanjeevarams went back to their usual slumber. . . I haven't bought a silk in the last 3 years or more. I am trying to give up silk, forever. So weaning out of it now by not buying, but still wearing what is already there. . . Being one #handloom, #handmade fanatic, and the love for anything #handcrafted, and that keen eye for appreciating this art of #weaving...Aaaaand being the typical Southie, Kanjeevaram is like religion!! So it is going to be tough when I finally give up! One reason for giving up is to practice #minimalism, to reduce the buying mentality (read greed-for-more mentality) I am sure I will get there. . . Have a busy day today! So back to my farming-clothing!!!
