Our pair has been through quite a lot together; depended on one another, protected each other but what has gotten them to this point and this interaction is the fact they’ve butted heads over and over again. For it’s those moments and conversations (and arguments😬) that have allowed for transparency and sincerity. And regardless of how they may feel about one another, they know now better than anyone what the other is thinking. What I love about this scene is that Alice wakes up from a nightmare, sees Dawin and immediately tries to ease his mind, certain he’s upset, besting himself up over what’s happened. But instead of calm cooing and coaxing, she is pleading with him not to take any of this onto himself. The way Yaya plays it, Alice isn’t just stating facts but practically begging this man to believe her, because she needs him to be okay, so that she also can rest easier. #ลิขิตรักTheCrownPrincess had so many wonderful moments in this episode. And I absolutely love that Dawin is nonchalantly, comfort being the only man at the river doing laundry. Plus he also understands that SOMEONE needs to clean this girl’s clothes, bras and all (since she doesn’t know how). But when he released the strap, her legs went in the air and his face said “Oh naw, forget it”... this scene immediately made my Top 5! Show is only in its in 3rd week but I am tentatively willing to crown it my favorite #AnneThong production. Okay kids, it may be official (don’t quote me on this) but I may, MAY have been bitten by the #ลิขิตรักTheCrownPrincess bug. And I have @MutmeePimdao’s #หน้าที่กับหัวใจ MV to blame. The official video was released today with another teaser during the PressCon and after my first viewing, one line has bounced in my brain all day [Cause who doesn’t stop and listen when you hearing something like: 🎶My heart won’t survive if it doesn’t love you🎶...] But tbh I knew after the video ended that perhaps this show would shape up to be something I enjoyed simply for how perfectly selected each scene was for what the song conveys. I slop up “tortured” love stories and this seems to hit all my “hurts so good” buttons. Just these clips alone give me a profound understanding of the depth of this couples’ commitment to their individual duties and each other but what toll that will take on them as individuals. Now all we have to find out is if it’s all contrived misunderstandings or relatable circumstances that keep these two silently grounded in their stations. Till today, hadn’t been sold on the possibility of my personal enjoyment of this project namely because I tend to dislike #AnneThong dramas (though I adore @aew_ampaiporn) and also, I gravitate more to the #NadechYaya persona in the real world and with other costars than koojin’d in #LakornLand. But I am ready and willing for this to be the proper 2018 fluke I so sorely need😉.
