Any HC's of the Kirigaya Siblings/Cousins?
oh oh!! I definitely had some but I forgot them 😭 these might be rly shitty but I’ll try to rack my brain for some
This is based off that one @eeksmok art but sugu definitely pierced one of kazutos ears at one point, it’s very miss placed but he loves it and he pierced hers (she was much less scared of it than he was, it hurt less)
Sugu before things went bad used to sit in kazutos room and watch him play games, she’d point out when moves reminded her of kendo moves
Sugu has little to no spice tolerance
Kazuto’s music taste is very alternative, this is projection but he definitely had an emo phase except it never was a phase and while he doesn’t keep up w bands and obsess over them a whole lot he does get excited when he finds new music
Sugus music is a little bit of everything but I can see her listening to the wombats, nirvana, I can’t think of more bands but bwhdje. Also, really niche TikTok artists who don’t have a huge following but she loves their music alot
Sugu gets really excited when artists she likes release new songs and runs to kazuto to show him the new songs and he happily listens to them
sugu really likes cats. like. really likes them. a lot. she knows a lot about them and how to care for them and keeps saying she wants a cat but their mom is allergic to cats
Kazuto likes cats and dogs equally
Kazuto is trans/Demi boy and bisexual/poly
Sugu is bisexual with a fem preference
Sugu worries about coming out in regards to her sexuality, but kirito knows and was the first to know and she is also one of the few people who he’s came out to with his bisexuality and poly stuff. Sugu and asuna know about each other as well, and probably bond over it, asunas also in the closet because she worries how her family would react and finds it unnecessary to tell them anyway.
sugu has a specific bracelet and necklace she wears all the time and doesn’t take off, kirito has one after he got back from sao and it’s a shittily made sword
The war after s4 did like,, some heavy damage on sugu mentally, but she doesn’t talk to kirito or anyone else about it in fear of seeming weak. (look me in the eye and tell me that event wouldn’t be traumatizing as all hell)
In alo they duel a lot to test each others skill and to keep getting better, they also explore a lot on their own because sibling bonding time ™. They inv asuna or others from the gang often though
Agil is just their dad figure. Both of them. They both see agil as a father role and go to him for advice when they need fatherly advice. His advice is always shit or perfect, no in between. The whole gang does actually, klein rarely does and it’s always about girls LOL
klein is like a big brother to sugu a little, she thinks he’s weird but in a goofy way constantly wants to drop kick him though when he’s being weird with npcs
Kazuto has depressive episodes where he goes back into isolation, he still uses his phone and goes online but he’s significantly less social and becomes a hermit during these times, sugu understands and always makes sure he eats and to make food for him, she’ll even bring it to him
When they were a kid they had a turtle. I don’t know if I got this from somewhere, but they definitely did.
Her and Sinon play ggo together alot, I don’t know why but I love Leafa in ggo she’d be so cool, she’d mess with gadgets alot (based off fatal bullet)
Leafa tried in alo to tame an animal many times but fails every time

While numerous categories of online games are available, games of skill are defined as online games in which the outcome of the game is determined either fully or partially by the skill of the player in the form of dexterity, logic abilities, knowledge or strategic thinking. This definition has legal implications as real money games of chance or luck are illegal in several jurisdictions while games of skill are not. Following the definition, games such as fantasy sports, eSports, strategy games, brain games, word games and trivia games where players compete against each other, fall under the category of skill based games.
The digital gaming boom has led to the expansion of the industry far beyond its traditional ecosystem of developers, publishers and operators, and inculcates a host of players from adjoining verticals such as media firms, investment firms, event organizers and advertising agencies. Although, as the competition in the market intensifies, it is becoming increasingly difficult for developers to generate brand loyalty and sustain a revenue generating consumer base despite the integration of gaming platforms with social media that has made it easier than ever for players to recommend games to other prospective players.

Different anon but I would LOVE an SAO recap if you don't mind!
Oh HELL YEAH
Alright kiddies buckle up it’s ~RECAP TIME~
Season 1: Sword Art Online/Aincrad Arc
Kirito and 10,000 other players are trapped inside SAO, a game made by Kayaba Akihiko, and are ordered to clear all 100 floors of Aincrad. There’s one catch: if they die in the game, they die in real life. Kirito meets Asuna, Klein, Agil, Silica, and Liz (#Mainsquad). Over the two years of being trapped in the game, Kirito solves some murders, rescues a lot of people, loses a lot of people (RIP Sachi you will be missed) beats up some floor bosses, goes head to head with a murder guild called Laughing Coffin, falls in love with and gets married to Asuna, buys a house, and adopts an AI daughter named Yui. Wow this kid is busy. On the 75th floor Kirito realizes that Heathcliff, the Commander of Asuna's guild, is actually Kayaba Akihiko. Kayaba offers him the option to duel, and if he wins, he will end the game early and allow everybody to log out. Kirito fights Kayaba and, after Asuna intercepts a fatal blow and dies in his arms, is able to defeat him. The game is cleared, and everyone is able to log out!! Kirito and Asuna meet up one last time as Aincrad collapses below them.
Season 1: ALfheim Online/Fairy Dance Arc
Fast forward to several months later. Kirito is on the road to recovery! Except Asuna is still asleep, and nobody can figure out why. Kirito visits the hospital only to discover that Asuna is getting married off to a nasty pedo named Sugou, who controls Rect, a company that runs VRMMORPGs. The wedding is in a week. Kirito panics and is cheered up by his younger sister Suguha. Agil sends Kirito some sketchy screenshots of what appears to be Asuna, inside of a game called ALfheim Online, which is, surprise surprise, run by Rect. Kirito dives into ALO and begins a new adventure! He teams up with Leafa (who is actually Suguha) and the two of them race towards the World Tree, where Asuna is supposedly being kept. We find out that it's Sugou who has trapped Asuna within ALO (because he pretty much runs the game. Asswipe) and is trying to manipulate her into marrying him (ew). Some minor stuff happens with the leaders of some of the fairy races but that's not too important. Eventually the truth comes out and Kirito and Leafa realize who the other is in real life and it's kind of a mess but then they make up and it's...fine? After that, Kirito makes it to the top of the World Tree with the help of all of his new fairy friends. He valiantly rescues Asuna (after some difficulty but then Kayaba's ghost shows up and gives him God Powers) and beats up Sugou who is a disgusting rapist! Kirito logs Asuna out and reunites with her in the real world. After that he distributes a special gift Kayaba had given to him called "The Seed", basically a tutorial kit to create your own VRMMORPGs. The gang logs into ALO to find out that Aincrad has been brought back as part of The Seed's release and get hyped to clear all 100 floors this time.
Season 2: Gun Gale Online/Phantom Bullet Arc
We're introduced to a new game called GGO, which is a lot darker and grungy than SAO/ALO. The star of this season is a girl named Sinon, who is a pro sniper in GGO but has an intense fear of guns in real life because of an incident years ago where she shot a robber and killed him out of self defense (poor, sweet child). She has a close friend named Shinkawa who cares about her a lot who she leans on for support. Scary shit is happening in GGO because famous players are getting shot in game by a guy named Death Gun, which apparently kills them in real life, a repeat of SAO. Kirito is brought in to investigate! He meets Sinon in-game and they sign up for a big tournament to decide who is the most top class gunner. Kirito makes a name for himself by using a laser sword in a game meant for guns (typical protag behavior), and is spooked by Death Gun because it turns out he's a formal Laughing Coffin member from SAO. During the tournament, Sinon is revealed to be one of Death Gun's next targets, so she and Kirito team up and form a bond! Eventually Kirito manages to defeat Death Gun, and he and Sinon win the tournament together (by setting off a present grenade so they die at the same time LMAO). Sinon logs out and meets up with Shinkawa, who reveals that he is one of the people running the Death Gun persona, and tries to kill her by drugging her. Kirito bursts into her apartment at the last second and rescues her. Several days later Kirito helps Sinon come to terms with her trauma, allowing her to finally heal and move on from it.
Season 2: Calibur Arc
Kirito catches word of a new quest in ALO that will allow players to chase after the legendary weapon, Excalibur. Kirito throws together a party (Asuna, Liz, Silica, Sinon, Klein, and Leafa) and aboard a giant elephant jellyfish that Leafa befriended before. The party is greeted by Urd, an NPC and the Lady of the Lake, and she asks them to retrieve Excalibur from the bottom of a frozen lake dungeon. Kirito's like hell yeah we will and so they set off for the dungeon! There they face a pair of really difficult bosses, but are able to defeat them due to the power of friendship and also stabbing them until they die. Deeper into the dungeon they run into a trapped NPC named Freyja, who Klein immediately gets heart eyes for, and although he's repeatedly informed that letting her join their party is a trap (by literally everyone in the group, go figure), decides against his better judgement that he's going to follow his samurai avatar's honor and rescue the fair maiden. Freyja actually gives them some crazy stat boosts so it was #worthit. At the bottom of the dungeon they run into the boss, Thrym, and when Kirito finds the legendary hammer Mjolnir, Freyja takes it and transforms into the god Thor (which crushes Klein beyond repair). Thrym is defeated! At the bottom of the dungeon, Kirito pulls out Excalibur, causing the dungeon to collapse, and is then rescued by Leafa's monster friend. Urd returns and gifts Kirito with Excalibur as his reward for defeating Thrym.
Season 2: Mother's Rosario Arc
Asuna is told rumors about a player in ALO named Zekken, who is so extremely powerful that they have a perfect winning streak, and has even defeated Kirito in a duel. Zekken apparently duels players every day with the promise of gifting them a phenomenal 11-hit sword skill if they can win. Asuna decides to try her chances, and although she loses, Zekken, revealed to be a young girl named Yuuki, decides Asuna is perfect to help her out on her mission. This is to defeat a floor boss with just her guild, the Sleeping Knights, in order to get all of their party's names on the Monument of Swordsmen. After several tries the guild manages to beat the floor boss all on their own. Yuuki accidentally calls Asuna "sis" and panics, logging out and not coming back. Asuna finds out that Yuuki is actually a patient at a hospital and is terminally ill--which is why she was so desperate to defeat the guild boss as a sort of last hurrah and to have her name engraved somewhere in history. Yuuki's been in a full dive machine called the Medicuboid which lets her play games virtually and helps block out her pain. Asuna gets inspired and with Kirito's help, is able to set up a probe that Yuuki can look through in order to see what school life is like in the real world. Several months pass, and the Sleeping Knights spend as much time together as they can. Finally Yuuki's health begins to decline and she logs into ALO one last time to say goodbye and to give Asuna her 11-hit sword skill, Mother's Rosario. Hundreds of other ALO players all join Yuuki to give her a proper send off and pay their respects. As Yuuki dies in Asuna's arms (it's so FUCKING SAD I cry every time I watch this scene), she tells Asuna how grateful she is to have been able to meet her and spend the past few months with her and the guild. After Yuuki's funeral, Asuna and Kirito find out that the Medicuboid she was using was created by Kayaba Akihiko, surprise!! And this leads right into season 3.
So there you go, your recap of both seasons!! Hopefully it was short enough lol I cut out a lot of less important stuff so ;)

Why does Fatal Bullet counted as one of the wort Sword art Online (SAO)?? For me it is enjoyable because its a new take on a SAO game wherein you will not be playing as Kirito but a third party perspective. I enjoy because its more of gun skills like playing Call of Duty but a simplier version. But at the end of the day there are people who will praise the game and there are those who will try anx bring it down. I am one of those that will praise the game .
Thank you

Hi have you ever played any of the SAO games? If so, were they good? I was interested in trying one of them out a while back but I remember seeing something about how one of them had a horrible translation. I have no idea if that got fixed in the steam versions though. Still, if one of the games explored more of the mechanics of SAO, like the various skills or quests, it sounds like it would be neat.
hi anon! unfortunately ive never played any of the sao games ; A ; thats one area of the franchise im a bit hazy about. i do know the gist of most of them but im a nintendo girl and all sao games (except for hollow realization and fatal bullet which are on the switch) are only on playstation consoles so i dont have firsthand experience. my friend rena (@suteishia on twitter) has played them though so if u want more info i can ask her on ur behalf!
i think the horribly translated game would’ve been one of the first ones - probably infinity moment or hollow fragment, but the later games like hollow realization, lost song, and fatal bullet seem to have fine translations from what i can see!~ so i totally recommend checking out one of those ones if ur interested, and i know ive definitely heard great things about hollow realization!
alicization lycoris also comes out in may too so be on the lookout for that - the gameplay looks even better than the anime imo!!

New Gameplay, Trailers, Battle System Details and More
February 12, 2020 2:03 PM EST
Story, weapon types, AI customization, online coop details for Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris. New trailer for War of Underworld 2nd cour.
Bandai Namco, alongside Dengeki Online, held a stream for Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris and the anime SAO Alicization War of Underworld on February 12. We learned a whole lot more on both the game and the anime, and new trailers were published as well.
The stream featured:
Yousuke Futami, Bandai Namco Producer
ReoNa, singer who handles the game’s and the Sword Art Online Alicization War of Underworld anime’s opening theme songs
Miho Okasaki, seiyuu who voices Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris original character Medina Orthinanos
Masami Niwa, Producer of the Sword Art Online Alicization War of Underworld anime
Dengeki Online’s staff
After some banter and chat, we first got to see a short trailer for the 2nd cour of the SAO Alicization War of Underworld anime, airing this April:
youtube
Next, they reconfirmed ReoNa is singing the opening theme song of Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris, titled Scar/let. ReoNa is also handling the 2nd opening theme song of Sword Art Online: Alicization War of Underworld, titled Anima. If you’re a fan of ReoNa, she chatted a lot about both songs starting 27:40.
Once the anime corner was over, we learned more details on Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris. We first got a reexplanation of the game’s story differences with the light novel and anime. Producer Yousuke Futami explained the game’s story starts the same, with Kirito and Eugeo’s first meeting, and covers Kirito and Eugeo’s story. However, the story differs starting the point corresponding to episode 24 of the SAO Alicization anime.
Producer Yousuke Futami most notably said the first part of SAOAL is so long it wouldn’t hurt to make it slightly shorter. They are currently undecided on to whether cut down some parts or not. Futami said he was debugging the game the day before the stream, and after playing eight hours of Kirito and Eugeo at swordsmanship school, that part still wasn’t over. At the same time, this allows the game to show many sides of Kirito and Eugeo’s life we didn’t see in the anime, so it might stay this way.
We also got introduced to two new weapon types. The first one is the two-handed sword, which works like most two-handed swords in games, powerful but hard to master and easy to get counterattacked. Bercouli is one of the characters using two-handed sword-type weapons. Next, we have the Dagger, specialized in anti-air and speedy attacks. The sisters Linel and Fizel both use dagger-type weapons. Bercouli and the Integrity Knights seen in the trailer further below are playable starting the second part of the game.
Next, we have new details on Medina Orthinanos. Her seiyuu Miho Okasaki explained she’s super cheerful and girly, but changes completely when she starts fighting.
Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet recently got a free update. If you clear the Abyss Dungeon’s fifty floors, you can see a secret movie featuring Medina from Alicization Lycoris. Since not everyone owns the game or can clear the dungeon, they showed the trailer on the stream:
youtube
Next, new fields and locations appearing in the game were revealed:
Yousuke Futami explained Alicization Lycoris‘ story happens in all of the Human Empire and doesn’t feature the Dark Territory. We’ll see the north, west, east and south parts of the Human Empire in the game. We’ll get to know later who the Human Empire is figthing against in the second part of the game.
The game’s cities have shops and facilities to buy, craft, and upgrade your equips.
In battle, when the Arts Gauge is full, you can use it in three different ways. First, you can use the gauge to activate a Finish Art, an ultimate attack unique to each character. Second, you can use the gauge to trigger Super Arts, this lets you use any skill you want without spending SP until the Arts Gauge runs out. Lastly, you can use the full Arts Gauge to trigger Ally Skills, where you’ll be able to chain skills with all party members.
Newt, we got more details on the Tactic Emulating AI System (Technical Recording System in Japanese). This lets you configure the AI of the characters, letting you raise them and making them stronger. You can either control the characters yourself and make them remember the way you played, or let them grow naturally as you play.
We learned on this stream that players will be able to share AIs online with each other. Moreover, when configuring an AI, a lot of the processes can be automated. Players who don’t wish to spend too much time on the Tactic Emulating AI System can just use the auto settings or find a player online who made strong AIs and copy them.
The AIs you make can be coupled with the characters you create and customize online. These characters will then appear in Underworld as adventurers. You can actually meet them while exploring and ask them to join your party.
When copying an AI created by another player, this player will get items in return too. For example, you can play the game by raising AIs specifically made to be strong against specific bosses, and let other players copy them to get a lot of items.
Producer Futami also explained how each character has a specific personality type, which will be more and more apparent as you raise their affection level. This makes them stronger as well. This is probably how you unlock bed scenes with the characters too.
Lastly, we got to see ReoNa play SAOAL too for around 7 minutes of gameplay. This is included below along with a longer version of the game systems trailer revealed a few days ago.
You can read more on Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris with our previous coverage: We’ve seen the Alice and Asuna first meeting cutscene, we’ve got the previous trailer, some Asuna battle gameplay, the winning entries of the costume designing contest, a story trailer, more gameplay with Medina, and more on how the battle system works. SAOAL also keeps the traditional bed scenes of the previous games, and we’ve seen bits of one with Asuna and one with Alice. You can also check out our pal Azario Lopez’s preview of the game.
Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris will launch on May 22, on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. If you’re hyped about the game, like our coverage, and wish to support DualShockers, you can preorder Alicization Lycoris via Amazon.
