Rodnay Santh was as much a legendary figure as a reviled one in Ul'dah. The former Ala Mhigan refugee founded an inner-city transportation business with nothing but a single gil to his name, and soon became a transportation and information mogul the likes of which the city had never seen outside of the Syndicate. Enough that Rodnay was considered for a seat on the aforementioned Syndicate.

Yet, all of a sudden, Rodnay threw away his empire to take to the skies as a renegade transporter of illegal goods. Most recently, he'd somehow managed to transport a shipment of illegal soy beans into Ul'dah proper, without the authorities knowing what he did until he took off, deliberately making fun of their airship security.

Many crooks and ne'er-do-wells wanted his expertise in smuggling, yet did not offer him what he truly wanted: A challenge. Only those who understood that stood a chance at hiring the legendary transporter.

Other than those few moments of thrill, he'd take regular transportation jobs with his airship, with the embrace of the sky as his only companion. He'd already died once, in Ala Mhigo. The rest was merely borrowed time.

May as well use this borrowed time to forge a legend before the loan shark comes a callin'.

Star Wars Interloper- Vaio Cherno

 An enterprising businesswoman in Santhe/Sienar Technologies, Vaio heads the company's endeavours in the Corporate Sector following recent voting sponsorship in the Corporate Sector Authority. Vaio is a manipulative and exceedingly intelligent individual who came from poverty on Ryloth to pursue a burning ambition to rise above her status. She betrayed and used everyone in her career having no attachment to her fellow Twi'lek viewing their willingness to submit to exploitation, slavery, and occupation as pitiful and semi-voluntary. By the time she was a young woman she had secured a job as a secretary for Sienars offices in the Kala'uun spaceport and spent the next decade working her way up the corporate ladder showing not only an immaculate record but also being all too comfortable and familiar with much of the political and social intrigue that defines the Imperial bureaucracy. 

 Given her natural talent for business ventures and deal making, her Twi'lek heritage was tolerated if not occasionally welcome due to her allure and the benefits it offered and, while some may disparage an alien of such a high position within the company, Vaio has neither the time nor patience for any detractors. She does her job and does it exceptionally well and that's all that she cares about as it keeps her wealthy, influential, and at the pinnacle of the upper class she strived so hard for in her youth. As one of her many schemes to elevate her status, she maintains a close relationship with the ISB and is amongst their more valued allies in the Corporate Sector granting her branch numerous benefits for working so closely with the Empire and introducing her to a plentiful selection of potential allies for her own machinations. Perhaps most unexpected to her however was meeting a potential lover in the form of frequent compatriot captain Viran Adaso who is more often than the not her Imperial liaison.
