hello hello hello the essay has been submitted so i am back with my official guesses.

obviously i dont know the exact timeline here but

Peach - Sebchal, now i have (two) theories here

- Baby sebchal into peak ferrari sebchal (e.g stresssed sad sebastian and this bright eyed talented young (hot) teammate who clearly has a hero worship crush the size of the sun) but also hes a brat who keeps hitting him on the track and making his shit time at ferrari worse (obviously not charles fault but i imagine thats how seb might have viewed it) - specifically this is inspired by the first bit of peach like the start is the happier baby sebchal and then the descent into the blood lyrics is peak ferrari

OR and originally this was going to be 2022 era charles is (was) in a championship battle but ferrari bottled it and theres seb ,seb who left him, seb who comforted him in front of everyone, seb who hes been horny for (and in love with) forever and this was specifically inspired by you are my sentance ill serve the rest of my life hahaha but is it charles about being into seb (being in love with him more like) or charles about ferrari) (its both!)BUT

SKELETON SKELETON has to be 2022 era sebchal has to be (it could also be ferrari era sebchal angst but we established i was right about TSM so im leaning away from no)(but it would hit for that too

but no skeleton is 2022 sebchal - Charles who is in a championship battle - or was in a championship fight except ferrari fucked it up for him and theres seb who hes been half in love with forever - seb who left him at ferrari - seb whose leaving him again at the end of the season and seb who had multiple world championships before charles will get even one,

skeleton could also be a sewis ferrari/merc championship battle actually (or a chewis ferrari v ferrari one if that every happens in the hawkverse but im personally hoping for them to be happy together before the series gets that far along (fingers crossed)(but tbh id love the ansgt anyway)) but something about skeleton as a sebchal championship battle - because also the element of - charles has everything seb wanted he was the golden boy the il predistinato the one that ferrari didnt throw away and yet here he is comforting him watching as ferrari destroy this boy (his boy if hed get his head out of his ass) just like they did him and everyone that came before him

okay so I'm not saying anything about Peach, because that'll be the next one to come out and I'm not giving spoilers. however!! there is some elements of sebchal title rival bitterness AND also chewis ferrari vs ferrari >:))) it's gonna be very interesting to write and I am enjoying it so far

skeleton :))) skeleton >;)) you're right that skeleton is sewis! it's championship battle but kinda post championship battle because I'm scared of writing actual racing basically. it would also be really cool as sebchal tbh, but I wanted the pairings to be evenly weighted so there's three parts planned for each ship

your ideas are giving me ideas though. seb comforting charles even though charles has everything he wants? holy shit that's gonna make for some tasty fucking angst >:D
