"Well, thank you. And yourself?" She found herself wondering about him. How had Bran come across him? Why was he here now?
"That is a good thing to hear, Lady Sansa. I am quite pleasant as well." He paused for a moment, and then said, "I have come to deliver news of a sort."

Emma dropped her hand back to her side.  She'd scared her.  Great.  House?  "Uh, no, it's...not a house, it's just my name."  She looked around.  "I don't suppose the word portal or the name Rumplestiltskin mean anything here?"
Emma was a little taken back at the cold look the girl had, but she nodded.  ”Okay, King’s Landing.  And…where is that?  I’m —”  An idiot that fell through a portal.  ”Not from around here.  First day.  Um…”  She put her hands into her jacket pocket.  What a surprise, she was fashionably out of place again.  Thinking better of it, she held a hand out.  ”I’m Emma Swan, by the way.”

The cold was all that she knew, a biting cold that consumed her entire being. No matter what she did, shuffling through the snow, Jamie could think of nothing besides the ice that seemed to cut through her. The single cloak she’d set out with was soaked through, the fur of the collar was frozen with snow from a fall she’d taken- she could hardly even breathe, but still she soldiered on.
It couldn’t be much further, she tried to reason; even as she thought it, she looked down over the hill to see it, the castle she’d come so far to see. Winterfell. Without even thinking, she took off running, not stopping until she collapsed against the gate, pounding with as much effort as she could- which still wasn’t much. “Open the gates!” she yelled as loudly as she could, voice hoarse and raw. “Let me in, please!”

sansa-littledove:
"Then the gods have smiled down on you." She smiled herself. If Bran thought him a friend, then he was one.
"That is indeed a nice sentiment; I thank you, Lady Sansa." His lips curved into a small smile, in response to hers. He briefly wondered which gods she meant, but decided it didn’t matter too much.
"How have you been?"

(sansa-littledove) A deal gone awry
A deal had been struck between the two warring families. A deal which could perhaps soften the tides of war. For both had lost those dear to them from conflict and politics. The Starks lost their beloved lord and father; Eddard, as well as having their women Sansa and Arya taken from them. While Lannister blood had been shed, and Jaime of the Kings Guard was taken captive by the Northmen.
To perhaps get that dear to them back again, or wipe out the rebellion entirely, the Lannister's lord; Tywin, offered a deal. They would meet South of the Ruby Ford, baring no weapons nor men. Only that which would be bargained for. The life of Jaime Lannister, for the life of Sansa Stark. Upon initial recovery of the raven, Robb was wary of the deal. Why would the Lannister's strike such a deal right away? They where not losing the war quite yet. And Tywin didn't seem exactly like the fatherly type.
But upon talking with dear Catelyn, Robb decided to go through with the deal. Thus here he was, upon his white stallion, with trusty Greywind and Catelyn by his side, and the kingslayer on a leash behind him. He bore no blades, save for a dagger hidden upon the back of his belt; obscured by his cloak. He doubt he'd need to use it. Greywind's bite was just as deadly as any blade.
The Direwolf padded around the area; sniffing and scenting whether or not anything was nearby. Catelyn had noticed Greywind's rather timid behavior, her hand moving to grab Robb's arm. "Be safe, my son." She whispered, as to not rouse the attention of Jaime. "Your wolf is on edge."
"Aye. I can see." He mumbled, his horse halting as the party reached the location. There was some foliage. It would no doubt serve as a good place to lie in wait of an ambush. The King of the North's brow furrowed as he pushed his attention to the rode before him.
... Yes, he could see figures approaching. Perhaps... Yes. Perhaps he would finally get his dear little sister back.

sansa-littledove:
She curtsied. “It’s a pleasure, Lord Reed. I am Sansa, of House Stark.” Sansa smiled courteously.
"It is a pleasure to meet you as well, Lady Sansa. And please, Jojen will suffice."
"—-House Stark? I know your brother, Bran, my lady."

Of Legends || Alary & Sansa
     sansa-littledove:
She looked up from her book, marking the page absently with a note. Nothing had disturbed her, exactly, but something felt amiss.
Raising her hand, Sansa shielded her eyes from the harsh sunlight reflecting off the snow, which lay glittering on the ground. Looking behind her, she saw her shadow stretched across the ivory snow. There weren’t any others, nor any footprints, save her own.
Uneasily, Sansa stood up, sliding her book into her large pocket and pulling her gloves back on. There was still no sign of anything or anyone. Her heart was thumping wildly; something was very, very wrong.
She tried to stay calm, and started to walk back to Winterfell. Sansa cursed herself silently for choosing a spot in the woods so far from her home; it would take a while to get back, and she hadn’t told anybody that she was going out that day.
Speeding up slightly she glanced around the trees. Still nothing. A crack came from behind her, and she turned around, a scream tearing itself from her throat.
Tumblr media
There stood a young woman covered from head to toe in dirt. Her red hair matted and filthy with leafs and sticks poking out of it. The young woman's eyes were wide and frightened, almost pleading to Sansa to help her.
The young woman tried to form words but she was so scared that her body shook causing her voice to be silent. All she could do was stand there pleading with her eyes for the younger girl's help.
But after a moment the older maiden's vision blurred as she fell to the ground. By the looks of her one could see that the maiden had not eaten in many days.
