I wonder if Izana had met Makoto (Shin, Mikey and Emma's father)?

I mean, did he think Makoto was his father? Or did he think that he and Emma had a different father?

If it's the second option, it seems strange to me since he saw Shinichiro as a brother... (Unless he wasn't told that Shinichiro and Mikey's mother was Sakurako and not Karen)

Izana was 6 when Makoto died and Emma was 2.

So Izana was old enough to remember him, theoretically

I don’t know if you had already, but do you have any headcanons on Mikey’s parents?

I do! We have barely any info on them though so this mainly based on the tiny info we do have for Sakurako and Makoto!

Met they were kids, they were childhood sweethearts. They lived close to each other.

Makoto has always been rather loud and a bit wild, running off on adventures and seeking excitement. Where as Sakurako is his opposite, very calm and soft spoken. 

They knew of each only as neighbours though for the longest time. 

Makoto once rescued Sakurako from a bunch of bullies attacking her. She fell for him after that. 

As a kid, Makoto was always picking fights. Wanting new challenges and new excitement.

Makoto worked overseas a lot, travelling for his work. Where as Sakurako stayed home with the kids.

Sakurako never had a problem with Mikey fighting and beating up other kids because Makoto used to be the same.

Makoto did care a lot for Sakurako too but he just valued his excitement and adventures more. She used to hate it when he would leave to work for long periods of time but he refused to get a job closer to home.

Both Makoto and Sakurako were so excited when they found out they were gonna be parents.

Shinichiro was so loved, he was the world to Sakurako and Makoto was so excited everytime they were together. Shinichiro has fond memories with both his parents.

Manjiro was a surprise but both of them were thrilled when they found out the news. 

He cheated on her because he found it exciting and figured she'd never know. 

Sakurako's illness started showing around this time leaving her more fatigued but she tried to hide it for the sake of her family.

When Sakurako found out about the cheating she was of course upset but ultimately forgave Makoto. Her love for him kinda blinded her from his faults. 

Sakurako truly loved Emma though, treated her like her own daughter

Sakurako was devastated after Makoto died, she tried to be there for her kids but not long after her illness got worse. Making her spend long amounts of time in the hospital. 

Although the illness took a lot out of her physically, she always felt the long time away from her kids was the worst part. 

She didn't want to leave her kids but in the end she didn't fear dying. She just wanted to see Makoto again.

Shinchiro's face is more similar to Makoto while Manjiro's face is more similar to Sakurako

I think that's beautiful
