Can you point or link us to where we can read or learn more about the alt heresy in the previous ask?
....
I did not tag it like an idiot.
But in summery....
Sang was Warmaster, he had a mix of loyal and traitor Primarchs on his side.
Opposing him was Konrad, Perturabo, Mortarion, Angron, Fulgrim, Roboute, Horus... And I can not remember who else.
Magnus was out. (Not dead, The Lion went to Prospero, threw a stasis bomb at him, so Magnus was trapped in time for 10,000 years.)

It is my dream to have someone write an alternate story in which the position of loyal and traitor primarch are reversed. Maybe the Emperor went to fight besides Angron as his father while kidnapped Leman Russ rather than earn his respect, and so on. With Sanguinious as the Leading Traitor with Horus dying to protect Terra.
M a N, I wish I had the motivation to write proper chapter stories like Always Affected. Though, I personally like the Roboutian heresy AU... Sanguinious Heresy would be fuckin cool t o see
PLUS!! PLUS GOOD GUY HORUS! I LOVE GOOD GUY HORUS!

Why can I imagine Sanguinious (if he survived) teaching sisters of battle and imperial guard how to fly
That would be 100% canon.
(He already did something similar before the Heresy. He was happy to see his sons flying around with their jetpack)

Listening to youtubers talk about the Heresy.
Wait... Horus depowered himself to fight Sanguinis.... Got his ass whooped and turned his cheat powers back on to body him?
Grain of salt.... But I can see it, Horus' ego was big, he could see himself bodying the twink... And Sanguinis coming in fresh from fighting Kar'brand, some titans and Deamon Angron..... It is one sided with out the cheat powers of chaos

Do you think other Primarchs could have led a Heresy like Horus did? What levels of success would they have? I know there’s at least three AUs of different Heresies (ones led by Lion, Roboute and Dorn), but I’ve had a Sanguinian Heresy rolling around in my head for a while no matter how logically impossible it’d be (with some things being the Ultramarines falling to Nurgle after the Five Hundred Worlds are mired in a horrific pandemic, Ferrus being turned into basically a robo-Primarch, and Sanguinius with loads of puppet and fallen angel motifs).
Oh, I had Sanguinis Heresy the as well, some of the traitor and loyalist where interesting.
But I forgot the tag for it and my memory is bad.

It's kinda hard to say what is out of character for the Emperor since writers can't agree on his character. Some have him be very human and care about his sons, but suck at showing it and thinking he knows whats best for them, and makes a lot of bad mistakes or decisions. Others have him be completely removed from humanity and care little for his sons, seeing them as tools that should serve their purpose. Him giving Konrad a name would fit the first one.
Yeah, BL was not very consistent during the Heresy... Like Sanguinis with black hair.

Which of the alternate heresies is your personal favorite?
The Sanguinis one that me and several other Tumblr users brainstormed.
Because we did not just swap Primarchs around willy nilly.

Huh, the write of Lion: Son of the forest admited to a screw up on twitter in the book when Lion lists the names of known dead brothers.
He accidentally put Corax on the list with Ferrus and Sanguinis, but says maybe the Lion assumed he died on Isstvan because of how secretive crow boy was during the heresy.

I would be more interested in the Horus heresy if there were some 10 feet tall Amazon ladies.
Well we have some female Primarch rpers here, Konrad, Sanguinis, Lioness and Fulgrium, feel free to bug them about Heresy stuff.

It frustrated me cuz on the surface, the idea is interesting.... But the write just swaps names around and put little to no effort into fleshing out some of the ideas.
Now if I did an AU heresy, I would use Sanguinis, there is some meat on that bone.
You know what an interesting Heresy AU would be?
What if Chaos didn’t corrupt the traitor legions?
How would of things shaken out with out demon temptations.
