⚠️Happy Madness Day everyone!⚠️

I already mentioned here before that me and my friends are working on Madness Combat visual novel - "Closed in Madness". Guess what? It got an update today! Unfortunately, only Russian language is available for now, but we're planning on adding translation next year, so everyone might enjoy it!

Down to business, we're looking for people who might help us with Sanford's and Tricky's routes, someone who could draw their sprites (backgrounds and cgs preferably too, but not necessary). You can use your own unique art style, no need to copy something specific. But if you're willing to provide other type of help (Drawing backgrounds, help with translation etc.) - it would be just as appreciated!

I remember you posted something about Darkest Dungeon and Madness Combat, and I recently just got into DD so I'm curious if you have any more regarding that AU? 👀

darkest dungeon is a good (and mean) game, hope you have fun with it. thank you for showing interest in my stupid crossover stuff. as for the "AU", im not sure if i would label it as that, though i can see why you could. it wouldn't be too hard to draw the connection between The Machine and the Maker and Employers and such. there's an inherent horror in something that classifies you and the world around you as real being infected by something greater than it to the lovecraftian horror that DD draws from. it was more of just a translation of characters into classes. (possible mods one day, even. though i'd have to find somebody who can code.)

so far i only have Sanford and Deimos ironed out. i havent drawn deimos's hypothetical walking still because trying to match the cutesy proportions the sprites have piss me off. (skill issue on my end.) i'm not sure if you're actually interested in the mechanical aspects of them yet, so i'll save it. i will say that they would work best together, as sanford would be able to mark targets without having a skill that interacts with that and deimos would have skills that interact with marked targets despite not being able to mark them himself.

hank would have something to do with death's door, i think. playing around with the death mechanic in general. (ive not actually got any of the paid dlc myself so this very well could just be ripping of the flagellant. i know that freak plays with death's door.) 2b would also be a possible class, though he would be pretty bland mechanic-wise. he'd mostly serve to buff the party while having a focused range skill to deal damage. other than that, i've not got much. it's more like a crossover type thing. i don't actually have class names in mind, other than The Hooker.(sanford.) my main reasoning for it not being an AU is because it's just really funny to imagine deimos or so mentioning his (now useless) technology and the vestal or something having a heart attack on the spot. hank being a curt dickhead in modern terms. deimos running out of cigs and being offered a leaf to smoke, only to be sent to another dimension via an anachronistic-but-still-medieval hash. might be laced, considering who offers it.
