Imagine with me a Disenchanted AU for Sanders Sides where I steal lots of the plot for nefarious purposes but it's placed in the sanders sides universe and I get to make Patton an Evil Stepfather and Janus an Evil King and they get to sing a villain duet.

I like the way you think yes give him like three "evil" kitty cats all named after "bad cats" from TV but they're named after bad old cartoon cats cause hes still a dad so he has Tom, Lucifer and Azrael from Tom and Jerry, Cinderella and the Smurfs respectfully.

OOOOOH!!! Roman could be Edward, Logan could be Robert, and Virgil could be Morgan, not sure who would be Nancy… maybe Emile or Remy? 🤷‍♀️

Well to be fair I plan to take plot points so i dont have to destribute roles too badly.

My thinking is that for his birthday Roman and Remus give Patton a wishing wand because of course the imagination is as magical as Andalasia and stuff goes wrong for Patton all day because of bad decisions and arguments and stuff. He just wants Virgil and he to have a good relationship again after everything that's been going on.

So he wishes everything could be like a fairytale because that's how all happy endings happen- Roman told him so! And of course everything is peachy but he calls Thomas his son- Thomas is not in fact his son making him a fatherly figure ergo stepfather adjacent so it works.

The point is, I want them all to be high key aware that this isn't right and have absolutely no say in it, but Remus, Roman, and Patton are having the time of their lives except the twins are like uh shit we fucked up because Janus is turning into an evil power hungy sorcerer that kind of stole their throne, Patton is becoming an evil stepfather, logans becoming a dashing prince, Remus is a Hero, and Roman has become some sort of enchanted, cursed, or otherwise kidnapped prince. Oopsies?

I love the idea that Virgil is the ONLY one who can stop this. He's got the Disney Princess/Heroine role so he has to get his happily ever but he has to have the help from Thomas and Remus.

The dichotomy of Virgil taking on the heroic princess route and getting a sword whereas Roman gets left with the damsel princess route so he's filtering between eating poison apples, falling asleep randomly, getting turned into frogs, stuck in towers etc is very funny.

I can only imagine how hilarious and cathartic it must be for Roman to see Logan fail at all the princely theatrical stuff Logan always scoffed at him for

Oh absolutely but it's also very unsettling to see him being so boisterous and it's high key romantic and Roman loves it but also oh God poor logan!!

Also we have Roman in the princess/damsel roll so he absolutely gets to romantic dance with Logan.

Likewise Remus as the Hero has to fall in love but he's like fine fine fair magic I see what you're doing however I'm choosing Virgil because that's acceptable.

Patton and Janus having their bitch-off but instead ita full of sexual tension because that's fun and funny and also I just watched that video of the villain and hero and the henchmen are like when are you gonna fuck and they're like shit they almost caught us.

In other words true loves kiss can free Janus where Virgil and Thomas help Patton remember with that ILY family card he game Virgil.
