How do you think the Superfam celebrates Clark’s birthday? (+justice league and daily planet)

Sorry for the lateness answering this one but for the sake of it….

It starts out relatively early in the morning with Conner stepping out to tend to the animals by himself as Pa and Clark had taught him while Lois and Jon get a Happy Birthday Banner in the kitchen and make a hearty breakfast for him once he walks into the kitchen table.

Afterwards at work, Mr White and many of the other associates give Clark some congrats along with Jimmy giving Clark a card with some words about how much Clark means to him as a pal in his own unique way. At the Watchtower during a break from work, Diana and Arthur had crafted specialized flowers from their respective lands which are based on old Kryptonian flowers while Hal and John Stewart retrieve an old yet absolutely gorgeous tree from the depths of the sector Krypton was from as a gift that’s been a long standing tradition for them. As for Bruce similarity to tradition, he gave Clark some cash

Finally once he finally returns home after a long day at both of his jobs, Kara and Chris had prepared him a special ice cream cake with his favorite flavors along with the amount of candles all across that count to his age. The entire family is eager for their slices after Clark gets his first one, playfully then Jon tells him to hurry up blowing out said candles while Clark was in the middle of a small speech about his life up to this point

“Tough Crowd huh, Krypto?” He says with the Superdog barking happily

VICE PRESIDENT KAMALA HARRIS, PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA AND BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN CAMPAIGN IN ATLANTA, GA.

Vice President Kamala Harris hosted a star filled and 23,000 people strong rally outside of Atlanta on Thursday night that featured remarks by former President Barack Obama and a performance by rock legend Bruce Springsteen.

Thursday night was the first time the Vice President and former President Obama had campaigned together during this election cycle, but the two share a history that stretches back to Obama's 2008 campaign for President.

"It was over 17 years ago when I took a trip to Springfield, Illinois. It was a cold February day, and I went there to support this brilliant young senator who was running for president of the United States. And millions of Americans were energized and inspired not only by Barack Obama's message, but by how he leads, seeking to unite rather than separate us," Vice President Harris said.

Bruce Springsteen added a three song set to an event that featured remarks by Samuel L. Jackson, Spike Lee, Tyler Perry and Senators Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff.

Vice President Harris has 11 days to run the election of a lifetime.

When a giant of Caribbean literature moved to Calgary, Canadian critics ignored him. He probably didn’t care

During his sixteen years in Alberta, he published little. His tenth novel, Moses Migrating, appeared in London in 1983; its humorous plot follows the protagonist of The Lonely Londoners on a return voyage to Trinidad, where he sleeps around and earns a prize for a carnival costume that satirizes the British empire. Other new material from this period is rare, and “Ralphie at the Races” may be his only published work set in Canada. As Singh tells me, while “we can speculate about how Selvon’s Canadian isolation affected his relationship-building and writing,” we can’t truly know why his creative well ran dry.

Superfam Halloween headcanons ?

- Clark and Lois are both the Frankenstein Monster and the Bride respectively, Kara is Sadako from Ringu, Conner’s Ash Williams of the Evil Dead series, Chris is Son Gohan from Dragon Ball and finally Jon would be a werewolf

- Chris and Jon carried about 5 large bags as their routes for Trick Or Treating extend across nearly all major urban and suburban neighborhoods at Metropolis along with Hamilton County. Out of their total collection of treats this year, about 45% were chocolates (Snickers, Kit Kate, Reese’s, etc) 15% lollipops and remaining 40% being a variety of all sorts.

-Kara and Conner meanwhile visited a party at Conner’s school entering its costume contest. Conner was blowing it out of his butt so much boasts with his peers fully expecting Kara and Jim to come out on top. He had good reason to boast as the two worked extensively hard for their costumes and genuinely impressed the crowds. Unfortunately for him, while Kara got second place, Conner himself bested out of the polls, losing first place to a 9th grader who cosplayed as Godzilla via an equally if not far more impressive rubber suit, just like they do in the movies themselves. Kara joked in her mind once that Conner was so fuming at that loss, she can roast marshmallows over his head

- Clark and Lois meantime attended a small party of their own at the Daily Planet, seeing the majority of the staff there also in costume for the occasion. Notably, they saw Jimmy wearing a good Doomsday costume while Cat Grant was a Vampire and their boss Perry White was Julius Caesar (as per his catchphrase “Great Caesar’s Ghost!”)

- Later once the family is regathered back home, it’s an all too familiar tradition, a marathon of the classic Universal Monsters. Chris, even after so long taking part in this tradition, can’t help but get some chills when watching Dracula’s introduction scene.
