Hey, menii, love ur content. Just wanted to ask, do u have any advice for me, I want to start out on digital, I always did physical, but now I want to try out something different. Any pointers u could give me.

aww thank you! I just want to say I’m not the greatest at giving art advice or advice in general but I’ll give it a shot!

The main hurtle of drawing digital is learning a paint software. Which thankfully now we have youtube so looking up how to do something with any program is much easier.

I currently use Clip Studio Paint which has 50% sales of the program so I’d wait until then if you decide to buy it. A program I started with is Paint tool Sai which is very user friendly and pretty to easy for beginners to use.    

Next thing you’d probably want to look into is buying a tablet. When I started out I used a small cheap wacom ctl460 bamboo pen tablet(I would of course look into newer models if I where you) . So don’t feel the need to go for a cintiq for when your first starting out. Starting out with a simple tablet so you can learn the program and the feeling difference that comes with switching mediums is better. Having a fancy tablet won’t make you a better artist it’s just kind of nice to have but not necessary. 

But if money is no problem I do recommend getting a ipad pro and pro pencil. Since it’s something you can take anywhere (great for getting practice) and it’s also got some great paint programs as well (once again I would recommend Clip paint)
