🌀Post the fic summary for a fic you haven't written/published yet. It can be hypothetical or something you really plan on releasing...
ahh sweet, thanks for always sending one of these!
well i'll give you two as a treat. both of them have considerable words written for them but are maybe about halfway done so who knows when they'll show up on ao3 but i'm hoping not too far from now!
also i give my summaries as snippets of fics and a short line so that's what i'll be doing here
title: for all that it's worth
supercorp (kinda)
post-rift, canon-ish
"Lena was there."
Alex pauses mid-punch, holding the bag steady in front of her. They're in the DEO training room, Kara perched on a few mats with her back pressed against the wall. "Where?"
"The summit."
"You talk to her?"
"Hardly. We said hello, though." She doesn't know how to describe coming face to face, sitting side by side, parting with a silent wave to each other in a span of a few days, the conference hall barely big enough for her thoughts and emotions upon seeing a woman she'd loved and lost six years ago.
"You alright?"
She shrugs, but she means it, though, when she says, "Yeah. It was nice to see her."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah."
OR
lena walks away from kara after kara reveals her supergirl secret. it's six years later and they see each other again at a conference
swan queen:
post-marian rescue, canon-ish
Emma doesn’t cry when she reaches the town line. It seems that well has run dry, at least for now. Her eyes focus past her steering wheel and onto the faint red line etched onto the pavement.
It would be so easy to cut her losses, to start over, to prove them all right.
But for however much she wants to, she can’t. Not anymore. Not like this.
She struggles to erase the vivid image of everyone at the park; a life that she had always wanted to be a part of, but was shunned from. They had been laughing, there was food, they had prepared this in advance. Foresight. Intent.
Her own son had been made to carry this burden on their behalf to alienate her. She’d been trying, she swears, but maybe it hadn’t been enough for him either.
OR
after being iced out by regina for bringing marian back, she discovers the people she loves, her family, having a picnic without her. so she she runs and figures out a means of escape while still staying in storybrooke
thanks again for asking!

I'M SORRY two people already asked for the guzma one and i don't want to reveal too much of it...
The first time Augustine had met Lysandre, one busy morning after he'd lingered at the threshold of the café, too nervous to enter, he'd seemed fairly innocuous, all things considered. Lysandre was tall – taller than some of the alphas Augustine knew – yet he didn't give off a particularly significant scent. He smelled average – a beta, then, Augustine had deduced. He'd chuckled to himself, thinking that, to betas, Lysandre probably passed for an alpha well enough if only through his impressive size, and then moved on to thinking about other things, like how well his pants fitted him, and how the fact that he was taking great care to keep as much of his skin as he could covered-up made him all the more tantalizing. Even for a beta, his scent was so perfectly neutral that, had he any reasons to be suspicious, Augustine would have wondered if it was on purpose. Diantha, he soon learned, had noticed it, too. They'd joked that maybe he hadn't presented yet, which would have explained the peculiar lack of smell – and was absolutely ridiculous. As far as Augustine could find, looking up information about him, the man was in his thirties. There were edge cases, sure, but at thirty, you could be pretty confident of your identity. Statistically, the chances that Lysandre was anything other than a beta with a strange smell were almost in the negatives.

collateral fic wip snippet
(this is NOT the update but thought i'd throw in a wip snippet on this here supercorp sunday)
--
It’s only Kara’s third week on the job at CatCo. It’s a definite upgrade from her job writing articles for the Midvale Messenger, but the transition from small town to big city living has needed a little learning curve. She’s barely gotten used to her schedule, let alone the bus route to and from her apartment when a really big assignment falls on her lap that changes her entire life.
She looks up, pushing her glasses back on her face when she finds Snapper’s scowling face in front of her.
“Come with me.”
She furrows her brows, yet before she has time to ask him anything, he’s already walking away. She scrambles to her feet and rushes after her boss paying little attention to the stares coming from those around the office. She eventually gets her answer when they end up in his office.
“Sir, what—”
“Can you explain to me why Lena Luthor requested you specifically to write about the launch of their new tech project?”
Kara’s head remains empty as she quickly rifles through her mind for some flash of recognition to that name. She doesn’t know a Lena Luthor nor does she even cover the tech beat.
“Snapper, sir, this might be a misunderstanding. I don’t know who that is.”
He glares at her just as he places one hand on his hip while the other rests on his desk. “Well, you better figure out who she is quickly. You have an interview with her on Thursday at 10am. Do not be late. And make that article my while, you understand?”
“Me?” she asks, her head slow to catch up to his words.
“I’m going to pretend you didn’t ask me that. Now, get out of my office.”
Wordlessly, and still a little shell-shocked, Kara quickly exits out of his office and makes his way back to her desk.
“What was that about?” William, one of her coworkers, asks her as peers over his monitor.
She shakes her head. “I have no freakin’ clue.”

gnaws gently on the big sub guzma oh baybeeeeeeeeee
here's another excerpt for you (but i probably won't give more bc then i'll have given too much away.............) this one's from the first part (each part is guzma/a different character, basically)
If someone had looked Guzma in the eye and asked him what he wanted, really wanted, he would have played it off. Dismissed the question with a joke, a play on words, anything that made it known that he wasn't taking it seriously. A medal, maybe, though that was already too revealing. A hot chocolate. A little bit of peace and quiet. Lusamine had never asked him what he wanted. She'd taken one look at his sorry face and read him like an open book. When he wanted to indulge in some lame poetry, he thought of himself as the iron in her fires. She was beating him into shape, so to speak. He didn't think he'd be into that, and yet. Whenever she called for him, he would come, like a rockruff with their tail between their legs. He'd even do it in front of her employees.

Note
for ur writer ask reblog - Next
i had originally decided to do the birch/sycamore wip for this, then changed my mind, then changed my mind AGAIN, so congratulations anonymous you win a bunch if new words in this wip that i may or may not finish this year please send thots and prayers
The first time, he'd dismissed it, telling himself that he was not into guys that way, so it didn't really matter to him, but then he'd slipped, and allowed himself to see it. That had to have been when it started.
Because, as he was much belatedly beginning to realize, he'd been attracted to Augustine long before they'd had cultural differences. If he dared to be fully honest with himself about it, he'd been attracted to Augustine since he'd seen him for the first time and found himself unable to determine his gender.
Maybe that was the root of the problem.
He thought about going to Cynthia about it, in case she had advice regarding sudden sexual awakenings, and then got cold feet at the possibility that she might give him away. He didn't think she would, not really; he just couldn't risk it.
For about a quarter of a second, he even thought about asking Professor Rowan, before quickly sobering up.
(beyond thots and prayers i'd definitely love more asks for this!)
