Sometimes I like a musician or song casually and it’s like Ok Cool Whatever 👍 but then it turns out it’s a surprise tool whose hidden true potential only unlocks once you’ve found the right Character to apply it to. And I go crazy

#sometimes you say things like ‘I bet Gaige from Borderlands would love that band Against Me’#and then a year later you’re in the mosh pit at a Laura Jane Grace show #same thing is currently happening with Shadowheart and Epica lol #me a few months ago: man if only there was a good band to correlate with her…maybe some kind of female fronted gothic band #lots of choirs and chanting and topics of spirituality religious abuse and general trauma/recovery #….hey wait a minute! I know a band like that!#now I’ve listened to ‘Unleashed’ probably 50+ times in the past two months
