of all the times for my dog to get an eye infection it's over the public holiday.. will he be ok waiting a few days 😭😭😭😭
#😔😔😔😔 i dont think it quite constitutes an emergency yet#but ideally he would see the vet asap orz.#and our preferred vet has gone appointment only so who knows when thatll be#same dog with the thyroid problem btw#he was supposed to go in about 10 days from now anyway to see how hes faring#with the meds. but this cant really wait 😭😭😭😭#hopefully we can do the check in when we drop by for his eyes#he is very quickly racking up bills for the vet and i assume this trend will continue as he ages#its just the one eye and theres like slightly yellow/green/grey mucus-like gunk coming out#so im thinking he might have scratched it or injured it somehow#theres just no telling how bad x_x#sometimes it seems ok like hes got both eyes open but others hes kind of squinting with it and the sclera is quite red#eyelid etc looks dark and slightly swollen and i think its affecting his appetite u_u#once in a while he paws at his face#only really started friday i think

The thing that still scares me about losing her is that her sister is still here. They came from the same litter. They're the same age. Peaches has(had? We're still giving her meds so has) thyroid problems but she's not as skinny as Buh-Bee was (that's not her real name btw but I'm embarrassed by her real name because my brother - or his friend we got her from I don't remember - named her in middle school and we just never changed it... And she has a mustache (photo below)... I'm sure you can guess her name. It's the second one, not the first name that would be worse... I mean she came when we called either her name or "Buh-Bee" and I called her Buh-Bee soo...) And Buh-Bee couldn't jump as well anymore but Peaches is still able to jump some. (also full name Diced Peaches, again named by my brother in middle school. She doesn't have a mustache so he named her after a food he liked.)
And and and I know cats realize when an animal is missing... Our cat Jak (RIP buddy... Fuck that was only last year in May I think? Maybe even June too????) knew when our German Shepherd Joey was gone (god damn this is the 5th pet I've lost... 3rd within 5 years or so. First two I was really young still, but I knew what was going on and I even went to the vet when they both got put down. The only pet I didn't go to the vet to get put down was Jak because he had a heart attack.)
My point is idk how Peaches is gonna react because her sister isn't coming home. Will she become depressed? Will she feel out numbered (because she still doesn't like Sweetness or Luna -dog.). Will she somehow realize that mom took her sister away in the carrier and never brought her back and hold a grudge??? (Idk) She didn't react when Jak was gone because the two sisters hated him pretty much. Sweetness was okay with him but they still weren't buddy buddies so she didn't really react either to him being gone... Well... Actually the first week or so they all activly avoided the area he died ... but idk if they mourned him.
I just don't wanna lose Peaches too... Like she's mean and she kinda terrorizes the dog if we don't watch but I still love her. The sisters have been here the longest. They're 18 years old and we got them when they were a few months I'm pretty sure. Fuck I was like 6-7 when we got them...
Here's a picture of My Buh-Bee (idk when this was taken because they haven't used that bed in years). This photo is on our fridge ... Which idk why we do that because I can't get juice without crying...
And this one will be on her box (we're getting her cremated)
(took this one with my DSLR camera)
