this interaction makes me so insane, sam loves dean so unconditionally, no matter what dean does to him, sam always forgives him/comes back to him

“i’m having a hard time forgiving and forgetting here” it’s interesting how different they are when it comes to trusting each other. after sam’s addiction, dean needs/expects him to prove himself to be good, but sam has no trouble forgiving & forgetting that dean literally let him rot in the panic room (as dean himself later admits). and sam still trusts him and needs him even after dean was willing to let him die because he thought sam was a monster
