"You gotta tell her," Dean said simply the moment Sam walked into the main room of the bunker. The younger brother let out a sigh, looking over at Dean who sat on the couch with a beer in hand, staring at whatever was playing on the TV. Sam just wanted to grab a snack, not a lecture.
"Don't know what you're talking about," Sam then spoke, grabbing a half-eaten bag of Dorito chips from the counter, ready to head back to his own room again.
Dean snorted, taking a sip of his beer, "Sam, don't give me that crap. It's obvious as Hell how you feel about her."
Sam felt his grip tighten around the chip bag, making it crinkle obnoxiously, but Sam didn't care, "Well, how am I supposed to tell her?"
Dean shrugged, "Just tell her how you're madly in love with her. Simple."
"It's not simple, Dean." Sam said, eyes narrowed towards his brother, "She'll think I'm weird or something."
"I mean, yeah, you might sound like an awkward nerd," Dean replied, grinning slightly before getting up off the couch and heading toward the fridge. "Which you are," Sam glared as Dean shut the fridge door, holding a plate with leftover apple pie. Dean gave Sam a look before patting his shoulder, "You'll be fine. If it makes you feel better, she likes you too."
"Yeah? How do you know?"
Dean popped a few bites of pie into his mouth as he made himself comfortable on the couch once again, "It’s obvious. You'll have the perfect opportunity to tell her durin' this week’s hunt."
Sam felt his throat close up, his eyes widening slightly, "She's - She's coming with us?"
Dean paused chewing, staring at Sam intently before swallowing, "Yeah, Cas is busy." Before resuming, “I thought I told you last night.” He said with a mouth-full of pie; it made Sam cringe a bit.
“I was half asleep, Dean,” Sam then swallowed thickly before speaking up again, "Your angel's too busy to help you?"
Dean shrugged, "Yeah, but he said he'd come back later. Must be somethin' up in Heaven."
Sam pursed his lips as he nodded, bringing his fist to his mouth and clearing his throat, "When will she be here?" Sam asked as Dean shrugged.
"Ya'know Angels, Sammy. Always poppin' up unexpectedly."
Sam just let out a small sigh in response before quickly making his way back to his room.
~~~
Sam sat at a table, looking through book after book about mythical and mystical creatures. He didn't really need to, both he and Dean knew what they were going to be killing in this case, but Sam needed to get his mind off of you - which proved to be a very difficult task. Sam had been lost in thought, trying to keep reading, keep his eyes on the words on the page, but his mind quickly wandered to you.
You were an Angel, like Castiel, but you had only recently joined Cas whenever he came to the bunker for hunts. It had been a couple of months since you joined, and Sam was quick to notice that you acted a lot like Cas had when he first came down to Earth.
You were very kind to start off with, but you were always confused about something. Asking about practically anything under the sun, Sam was more than happy to help you answer your many, many questions. He had noticed after a couple of weeks, that you would always come to him for help on anything. He understood, when Cas wasn’t available, and Dean was too… Intimidating, Sam was an excellent person to go to when with questions. He had spent a good amount of time with you, and that was when Sam felt him falling for you.
When you had first joined over a year ago, Sam had found out that you were the Angel, with a different name, but you went by Y/N. Why? Sam never asked; he didn’t want to upset you or anything. Either way, he liked your name. It suited you.
Feeling a hand on his shoulder, Sam froze before he heard a voice, "What are you reading?" You asked, peering over his shoulder at the current books he had open on the table.
Sam cleared his throat, heart racing from the slight jumpscare, "Vampires... We're going after one tomorrow night.” He answered, his body growing warm beneath your touch, "Three women have gone missing in Louisiana in the past month." He continued, feeling your hand slip away as you took a seat beside him.
You gave his side profile a sweet smile, your hands clasped together in your lap, "Well, that seems easy enough. Castiel had spoken that you and Dean have encountered those before." You remarked, leaning forward in your chair.
Sam looked up, meeting your gaze, "Yeah, we have." His chest felt a bit warm as you looked right back at him with a small, that perfect smile on your face. "How have you been, Y/N? It's been a while since I've seen you." Sam then asked, and you just gave him a shrug, fidgeting in your seat; it was hard for you to keep still.
"I think I am feeling fine." You let out a small laugh, Sam found it hard not to match your smile.
Sam shuffled his booted feet on the floor, his smile falling slightly into a nervous frown. He felt his palms begin to sweat as he glanced away from you to the books on the table, "So, uh, Y/N, I've been meaning to ask you something for a while now… But, I never had the time to before you’d leave with Cas, but…" Sam began, his throat becoming dry as he spoke, but once he met your gaze again, he was at a loss for words. He tried his best to ignore the heat that was rising up into his cheeks as your eyes locked onto his. He didn't even realize you had moved closer until your fingers brushed against his. Sam blinked rapidly before looking down at your skin which was smooth and silky, almost like marble; your fingers slowly intertwining with his. He knew you had taken his hand to help him with his obvious nerves, but he couldn't help but get more tongue-tied.
Unable to confess his feelings for you, Sam sputtered out the next best thing he could think of, "Not that I don't want you here, I love having you here, but why didn't Cas come?" Sam asked, completely ignoring what he was trying to say in the first place, making you tilt your head to the side; your eyebrows furrowing slightly. Sam felt his heart plummet as you slid your hand out of his, leaving Sam without your warmth.
"Castiel had said that he had some unfinished business to attend to, but he did not tell me what that was. He had just said to find you and Dean; that you both needed help." You answered, voice soft.
Sam nodded, turning his eyes back on the books in front of him; unable to keep looking at you in fear that he might explode. "I wonder what he had to do that was so important..."
"That's what I've asked myself too, Sammy," Dean entered the library, a small grin on his lips as he saw the two of you sitting pretty close to one another, "Hey there, sweetheart. Fun flight here?" He asked you, making you smile towards the brother, a little bit confused. Dean only waved a hand before pressing both hands onto the table, "Nevermind, so, let's get ready, hmm?"
- 2 -
"So, you're tellin’ me that there is only one Vampire, and he's throwin’ a party at his house, and that's where he finds his victims?" Dean asked Sam, crossing his arms as he leaned against the table in the library, and Sam nodded in return.
"Yeah, that's why all the victims were wearing fancy clothes, found in swamps, with all their blood drained," Sam explained, Dean nodding his head as he listened, a frown on his face.
Dean scratched at the back of his head, "How are we going to get into there, it's all invites only, right?" He asked his younger brother, who nodded, turning to the table where his computer sat.
"Yeah, all invites. It turns out this Vampire is very picky. I was able to find out who he had invited and all these people have been registered blood donors since the 90s," Sam continued as Dean's eyebrows furrowed, looking between Sam and the computer screen.
"What's that got to do with anythin’?" Dean asked, gesturing towards the computer, Sam shook his head before pointing to the screen, about to answer when you slipped in.
"They all have AB Negative blood." You interrupted, perched up on the table, your ankles crossed, legs gently swinging, "It's a very rare blood type."
Dean seemed impressed as he glanced around the library, thinking before he paused, looking down at Sam, "Haven't all the victims been women?"
Dean questioned, and Sam nodded, "Yeah, so far, yeah."
You watched the two men talk to each other, continuing to swing your legs back and forth. As they talked, quietly arguing about how to get into the party to kill the Vampire in the first place, your gaze slowly moved down to Sam. You hadn't meant to stare at the handsome hunter, but you just couldn't help yourself. When you first came down to Earth with Castiel, you would've said, 'All of Father's creations are beautiful,' but, after being on Earth for so long, learning things, and meeting Sam... Sam was so attractive, and it was kind of overwhelming. You never had these feelings before, and you didn't even know that you were capable of these types of feelings before.
You had gone to Castiel with your questions since you knew that he had spent a longer time on Earth than you, and you were more or less convinced that there was some sort of bond between him and Dean. Angel Bonds were special, and you knew Castiel had given him one when he saved him from Hell. You had also had an inkling that something else was going on between them, but you didn't want to assume; even though they'd share longing glances and Castiel would stay in Dean's room when he'd visit. You didn't know why. Angel's do not need to sleep, but you know that Dean had a better TV connection than Sam or the main room in the bunker.
When you had gone to Castel with your questions, he was more than willing to help you. Angel to Angel. You had told him that whenever you were near Sam, you would feel a strange sensation; a pull towards him. You had never experienced anything like that before. You also told him that you would feel your heart race, your breath catch in your throat, and your stomach would flutter every time he smiled at you or even talked to you. Castiel said that what you felt was normal, that you were experiencing the attraction towards Sam. Still a bit confused, so you read books... A lot of books. After every book you read, the more you learned about love, attraction, and relationships. It made sense now why you felt this way towards Sam. Your attraction to him was completely natural.
You always got so excited to see Sam when you could, so much so that you felt like you were going to burst with joy any moment. Every day that you spent with him, and every minute that you were with him, you noticed so many cute, small things about him. You noticed how compassionate and forgiving Sam was, how he really liked Celine Dion, which you had still yet to listen to, and you noticed that Sam really liked eating salad. You loved it when he read, his eyebrows would furrow when he concentrated, and sometimes his nose would scrunch up as he took in a deep breath and released it with a big exhale, causing his eyelids to droop. Sometimes, your gaze would raise to his hair, your mind wondering what it would feel like to run your hands through it; your fingers would twitch at the slight thought. You really, really liked Sam, but you didn't know if you had the courage to say anything to him.
"What do you mean Y/N would have to do it?" Sam's voice grew a bit hostile as he stared up at his brother, and your attention immediately went back toward the conversation that you were missing.
You watched, tilting your head slightly as Dean tried to reason with Sam, "Sammy, she'll be fine, she's an Angel. She can protect herself if something were to happen."
Sam raised an eyebrow at Dean, "I don't like it," He spat out, turning to look at the computer as his right leg bounced up and down anxiously, "She could still get hurt. You and I can do this ourselves."
You sighed as the two continued to argue; a small frown appearing on your lips. Reaching down, you grabbed Sam's hand, which helped slow his bouncing knee to a stop. You then noticed that Sam took a deep breath in before letting it out, and you didn't miss the look Dean gave the two of you.
"Sam," You began, gaining his attention, his hazel eyes looking up at you. You gave him a small smile, hoping that would calm him further before speaking, "I know you may be worried... But, Dean is right. I can take care of myself. And I can easily eliminate the Vampire. And you have seen from our research that he only goes after women, I doubt anything distressing will happen."
Sam didn't seem convinced by your words, but he nodded anyway. "Okay," Sam mumbled, looking at his hand in both of yours, resting on your lap, "But if anything happens-" He looked back up at you, only for you to shake your head, interrupting him.
"Nothing will happen," You gently squeezed his hand, almost not noticing Dean leave the room, "I will be alright,"
Sam let out a big sigh, closing his eyes and dipping his head, his hand tightened around your hands, his thumb brushing against one of your wrists, "I know that you can defend yourself, I just get worried." Sam spoke, and you nodded, giving him a smile as he looked back up at you.
"That is alright, Sam. Being worried is a normal human emotion to have. It's understandable."
Sam opened his mouth before closing it, nodding, "Y/N, I'm just worried 'cause I-"
"Alrigh', we should probably head out. We should be able to get to Louisiana by tomorrow night." Dean spoke up as he re-entered the library, unknowingly interrupting Sam and extinguishing his courage.
- 3 -
The drive to Louisiana was a long one, around fourteen or fifteen hours. You sat in the back, staring out the window as buildings, trees, and cars passed. The three of you stopped at a few places to eat, a couple of diners, and whatnot. Dean got his pie while Sam got a salad. Getting back into the Impala, you felt a bit restless, propping your feet up on the back seats as you just zoned out. By the time night came around, the three of you found a motel that was pretty cheap but was decent enough. Sam had tried to let you take the second bed, but you opted for the couch, to read until it was time to continue the drive. Sam needed to sleep more than you did. For obvious reasons. Soon you were all back in the Impala the next morning, finding a place for breakfast, and time just flew by after that.
You leaned your arm against the door, your face pressed against the cool glass as you just watched everything speed by. You were all listening to something on the radio, some song that Dean apparently liked since he was bobbing his head along and tapping the steering wheel with a couple of fingers to the beat. You heard Sam let out a big yawn, your eyes landing on him as he moved around in his seat.
"Hey, Y/N, you alright with me lowering my seat?" Sam asked as you shifted to the middle of the backseat bench.
"Yes, of course, Sam." You spoke as Dean glanced at his brother as he lowered his seat back.
Dean turned back to the road, a small grin on his face, "Feelin' a bit sleepy there, Sammy?" Dean lightly teased him, making Sam huff as he crossed his arms over his chest, rolling his eyes.
"Yeah," Sam muttered, "Didn't sleep well last night,"
"Really?" Dean asked, his tone becoming mischievous as his grin turned into a smirk, "From what it sounded like, it would've seemed you slept pretty good; mumbling a certain person’s name…"
"Shut up, Dean," Sam grumbled, his cheeks starting to turn pink as he turned away from his brother, facing the window and shutting his eyes. "Don't start that crap."
Dean chuckled, shaking his head. You couldn't really tell what was happening, you were just mostly confused by their whole conversation. So you shook it off. Looking over at Sam from the middle seat, you tilted your head to the side, seeing that his body was slowly becoming less and less tense. After what felt like maybe an hour, you brought your gaze back to Sam, his eyebrows furrowing, and a deep frown settling on his features. Your attention switched between Sam and Dean, and back.
Dean seemed to notice your worried look, glancing over at you, "Are you alright, kid?" He asked you, his voice softening.
"Sam's upset," You murmured, not wanting to wake him as you stared down at the younger brother, "He isn't hurt, is he?" You asked, making a smile slowly appear on Dean's face at your words; you reminded him so much of Cas when he first came to Earth. Even though you had been on Earth with Castiel for little over two years; going up to Heaven most of the time. There was still so much for you to learn.
"No, he's not hurt, kid," Dean spoke, glancing from the road to you, and back, "Probably just a restless dream or somethin'." Dean answered with a shrug, making you hum and turn back to Sam.
"That's what I had thought." You said softly, resting your arm against the shoulder of Sam's chair, your cheek resting on your open palm. You raised your other hand, hesitantly reaching out to place your hand on Sam's head. Dean gave you a glance and a small grin reappeared on his face as you began to brush your fingers through Sam's hair.
Slowly, you noticed Sam's face soften, and you smiled as you continued to gently scratch your nails against his scalp. As you continued, you realized that you had never touched Sam's hair before, and it made your heart flutter, butterflies erupting inside your stomach as you closed your eyes, enjoying the feeling of his thick strands beneath your fingertips. They were so soft.
It was late at night when Dean pulled over at the motel. Sam had woken up a couple of hours prior, only minutes after you had pulled your hand away and decided to zone out for the rest of the trip to Louisiana. Time quickly went by as the brothers went to bed, and you sat on the couch, quickly watching the TV, occasionally switching the channels.
~~~
That night, you were getting ready in the motel bathroom, and you looked in the mirror, smiling to yourself. You thought you looked beautiful. The dress fit you perfectly. Dean had helped you pick it out that morning for the party. You never really thought about having a favorite color, but this color made you smile. Your hair was also done up nicely, as best as you could do it. You were ready.
Stepping out of the bathroom, you brushed down the skirt of the dress, hearing a quiet, 'Oh, damn' from Dean. Looking up, Dean stood beside Sam, who was also nicely dressed in an ebony, black tux. Dean was seemingly pretty impressed, his arms crossed with a smile on his face. Looking over at Sam, you were a bit surprised to see his eyes wide in awe. His lips slightly parted, his eyes wandering over every detail of you as if he were trying to process all of the information in front of him. It was a sight that made you chuckle under your breath - your cheeks feeling warm - causing Sam to snap out of his trance.
"I- uh, wow," Sam muttered, his hand coming up to rub his neck, his eyes still glued to your figure, "You look like an angel..." Immediately when Sam said that out loud, he wanted to slap himself, he cringed mentally.
You let out a small laugh, looking up at him through your lashes. "I am an Angel, Sam."
Dean gestured behind him, taking a few steps back with a grin on his face, "I'm gonna get Baby all warmed up, it's chilly out."
Sam cleared his throat once Dean left, his eyes shifting from the floor up at you. Your smile faded a little, and you took a step closer to Sam, moving your hands up to readjust his tie that was slightly crooked, "Are you alright? You seem... I don't know... Distracted..?" You questioned, tilting your head to the side, and giving Sam a slight smile.
"What? Oh yeah, no, I'm fine. I just think you... You look really beautiful tonight, Y/N." Sam spoke, a nervousness in his voice. He knew he had already ruined any chance at being smooth, but he just couldn't seem to help himself; you looked stunning.
"Thank you, Sam. You look rather handsome as well." You replied with a nod, your smile returning as you took Sam's hand into yours, squeezing it before letting go.
"You think so?" Sam's small smile turned into a frown, his eyes falling to his shoes momentarily. He then sighed, shaking his head as he looked back up at you, his brows drawn together, "Y/N, I need to tell you something-"
"Alrigh', come on, love birds," Dean interrupted, clapping his hands together once to gain both of your attention, "Let's head out," Driving to the mansion where the party was going to be held, Dean spoke up once stopped at a red light. "So, there was some couple that were unable to go to this party, so you two will pose as them," Dean spoke, beginning to drive again when the light turned green. "Their names are Marie Frank and Christian Frank."
"I'm Christian?" Sam asked from the passenger seat, and Dean let out a small snort.
"Yeah, unless you want to be Marie?" Dean said, turning his gaze towards him from behind the wheel, "Cause that'll definitely make things easier for everyone involved."
Sam rolled his eyes, crossing his arms over his chest in annoyance. You laughed quietly in the back seat.
- 4 -
Walking inside the mansion where the party was being held was easier than Sam had thought, but he kept his guard up. Turning to look down upon you, he took in an almost shaky breath before offering his arm out to you. Smiling sweetly up at him, you took his arm and allowed him to lead you inside. Walking in, you saw many people dancing, drinking, laughing, eating, talking, etcetera. All of these people were unknowingly standing within a monster's lair, and you were confident that you, Sam, and Dean would vanquish the Vampire before he could take any more victims.
Leaning against the large bar, you looked over as Sam leaned down to speak to you in a hushed voice, "So, how are we going to find out which one is the Vampire?" He asked you, his warm breath wafting over your face, causing goosebumps to spread across your skin.
You glanced around the room, trying to spot anyone who could in fact be a Vampire. Soon, your gaze then landed on one man, his boisterous laughter echoing throughout the large ballroom as he spoke to a couple. His long, dark hair cascaded down his shoulders, and his brown eyes shined with humor as he told a story. As the man chuckled, you noticed him wearing burnt red-orange attire; he stood out like a sore thumb.
You leaned to the side, your eyes not leaving the man you were sure was the Vampire in question. "That one," You whispered to Sam, who leaned towards you to hear, "He's the Vampire."
Sam hummed, nodding his head slowly. "How do you know?"
"I- I don't know... I just do." You answered, pushing off of the bar counter, "Meet me at the back entrance, I can take care of this." You spoke, giving Sam a smile before going to walk off, but Sam stopped you, taking your hand.
"Wait, Y/N..." Sam trailed off, his hazel eyes boring into yours. He wanted to say it, he wanted to say that he was in love with you, but he couldn't bring himself to say those words, not yet anyway. Not even close. He let go of your hand, "Be careful, okay? We don't know what he might do."
Smiling lightly as a flush rose onto your cheeks, you nodded. "You know I will be."
Sam watched as you walked over to the supposed Vampire seeing that he was all by himself now, a drink in his hand. Sam felt his heart sink to the pit of his stomach as he watched you talking to the Vampire. A smile on your face as you batted your eyes; it surprised Sam, seeing you so easily flirt with someone; much less a Vampire. Sam hated the way the Vampire was looking at you, the way he licked his lips every few moments or stared at you hungrily. Sam finally snapped out of it when he watched you lead the Vampire to the back of the ballroom towards a door. That was Sam's cue.
- 5 -
It was over, the hunt, that is. Sam sat in the front seat, hands curled into fists. He didn't say anything after Dean picked both you and him up after Sam killed the Vampire. You sat in the back, fiddling with your fingers as you glanced at the back of the passenger seat periodically. You could practically feel the rage pooling off of him in waves. Dean could sense it too, glancing at him but saying nothing. You didn't know what to say, or if you should say anything. You didn't know if Sam was upset at the Vampire, at you, or the situation.
When you brought the Vampire out, which you had learned was named Anndro, he immediately pinned you to the side of the building. You listened to him talk before he told you that he was going to kill you, drink your blood, savor it before throwing you in a swamp for dead. You pretended to be frightened, and you let the tears fall down your cheeks, but in reality, you were ready to end him.
Sam had popped around the corner, and once he grabbed the Vampire's attention, you grabbed the back of his head. And... Then he was gone. The walk to the car was awkward, Sam's back was hunched slightly, shoulders stiff as he opened his passenger side door and got inside.
Dean looked up at the rear-view mirror at you, seeing how upset you looked. A deep frown on your face, your arms crossed over the other, holding yourself as you glanced out the window.
It was very awkward and nerve-racking for the rest of the trip. Sam hardly spoke, and when he did, it was only a sentence or two. Dean tried to liven up the atmosphere but it was all for not. You didn't want to try for fear that you would make it worse. Once you got back to the bunker, Sam went straight to his room and slammed his door. Your shoulders deflated, drooping, but you were thankful to be in your regular clothes, not wanting to ruin or wrinkle your dress when you flopped down on the couch; burying your face into the cushions.
Dean let out a sigh, shoving off his shoes and walking over. Dean sat beside you, tapping the back of your calf with a hand. "Just give Sammy some time," Dean offered, his voice low, "He just needs space." He added, knowing full well that Sam would eventually come around.
You gave a slight nod, turning around to sit up. Tucking your legs into your chest, you wrapped your arms around them, looking up at the older brother, "Why is he acting so cold?" You asked softly, "Was it something I might've done?" You asked, a frown on your face. It was something you did, wasn't it?
Dean hesitated for a moment, "No, sweetheart, Sam's upset with himself is more likely."
"What?" You questioned, sitting upright in your seat, "But why?" Looking away from him, your eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
"Sam's not the best with emotions, ya'know?" Dean began with a small shrug, "Hell, I'm not either," He let out a small laugh, making you feel slightly better, "It takes him a bit to actually say anything, and if he doesn't... He bottles it up until he explodes. He’s currently exploding." Leaning forward, Dean lowered his voice a bit. "Sam's never been good at showin' his feelings, especially in situations where his heart's on the line." He added, making your eyebrows furrow.
"What do you mean?" You questioned, leaning closer to him as your curiosity peaked.
Dean smirked, "I think I'll let him tell you that when he's ready."
~~~
Sam finally left his room to grab some food, pausing when he noticed you on the kitchen island, reading a book. At his entrance, you looked up, setting down your Agatha Christie book beside you. You clasped your hands together in your lap, staring right back at Sam. He was the first to move his gaze away from yours, heading to the fridge.
"Are you alright, Sam?" You asked, and Sam paused briefly before grabbing a drink from the fridge and shutting it. You watched as he fumbled through cabinets looking for something.
"Why are you sitting all by yourself in the kitchen?" He asked, deflecting your question, which you noticed.
You tilted your head slightly, swinging your legs back and forth, "Well, I have the understanding that humans have the urge to eat typically every two hours, so I only found it reasonable to wait in the kitchen to talk to you; since I did not want to bother you while you were in your personal room." You replied quietly, watching as Sam continued to search through the drawers. Seemingly, he seemed to not be able to find whatever he was looking for - giving up - he let out a sigh. Turning around, leaning against the counter, Sam looked back up at you. You both looked at each other for a long while, Sam's knuckles turning white from his grip on the counter behind him. The way you stared at him made Sam nervous. His eyes darted about the room nervously, trying desperately to ignore the burning feeling in his chest. "I deeply apologize if I have upset you in any way, Sam." Your words surprised him, "Dean had tried to reassure me that I had nothing to do with your behavior earlier, but if Dean was wrong, I think it is best that I say that I am sorry." You admitted sadly.
Sam sighed, running a hand through his hair. He ran his tongue along his bottom lip, "No, Y/N, no, you did nothing wrong." He explained, "If anything, I should be apologizing for ignoring you... I just needed time to think."
Your eyes widened slightly, "You're not angry at me?" You asked, tilting your head to the side slightly in confusion.
Sam shook his head slowly, stepping forward towards you until he stood right in front of you, finding himself in between your legs. "No, honey, I'm not mad at you. I was upset about the hunt."
Your heart flipped at the nickname, "But, it was successful, was it not?" You tilted your head, Sam's own heart racing under your eyes as he reached out a hand and rested it on the side of your cheek. His thumb rubbed across the soft skin gently, sending chills up and down your spine.
"It was, I just... I-" Sam let out a deep sigh, his head falling, his chin to his chest. Again, Sam lost the courage, he couldn't get himself to say it. Not yet anyway. Your hand came up, resting on his forearm, rubbing slow circles onto it, making Sam lift his head again. His hazel eyes caught yours; you looked at him sympathetically before dropping your arm. Leaning forward, placing a kiss on your forehead, Sam breathed out deeply from his nose, shutting his eyes before backing away and leaving the kitchen.
You sat there, confused, but with a warm feeling in your heart as you grabbed your book and continued reading.
- 6 -
Castiel arrived the next day, to accompany you back to Heaven. You didn't want to go, not just yet. You knew you had to go but you didn't want to leave Sam. You went to Castiel, asking him if it was possible to stay one more day. He said you could stay a couple more hours at most, and that was all you could really ask for; just a bit more time.
"Well," Dean had begun, a small Winchester grin on his face. "How ‘bout I set up a movie for us all to watch? Sammy, you make the popcorn, I'll get the beer."
You and Castiel sat on the couch, sitting silently as Dean and Cas got the food and drinks ready, and before you knew it Dean was sitting next to Cas at one end of the couch, and Sam and you were at the other. Glancing over at Dean and Castiel, you noticed Dean's arm lying lazily on the back of the couch, behind Castiel; they looked pretty close and cozy. You shrugged that all off, trying to pay attention to the movie as you became aware of how close you were to Sam.
His thigh was basically pressed against yours, his arm just brushing yours whenever either of you moved. You were becoming acutely aware of Sam's presence, your heart hammering as you bit your lip. You were sure this was an invasion of Sam's personal space, but if he was uncomfortable being so close to you, he would have moved. There was another seat to the left of you. And you knew Sam, at least from the two years you've been on Earth, you knew that Sam would've gotten up if he were uncomfortable. You weren't uncomfortable, no. You rather liked being so close to Sam, his body radiating warmth and comfort. You never felt more safe being so near Sam Winchester.
Your heart plummeted, you'd have to leave back to Heaven soon. A small frown fell onto your lips at the thought; it hurt. What if you didn't see Sam again? Or Dean? What if you never saw either of them again? You knew that wasn't true. You had been through this before, you'd see them again. You just didn't know when. You weren't going to cry, though. Even with tears in your eyes. Your eyes remained glued to the screen.
Sam looked down at you, and had been doing so every once in a while throughout the movie. His eyes glanced down at your hand, noticing it was tightly curled into a fist on your lap, tugging softly on the sweater he let you borrow, your knuckles white. Sam frowned in confusion, wondering if you were upset by the movie, or something else. Without even thinking, Sam reached over and took your hand, and it seemed that was all you needed. Intertwining your fingers with Sam's, his large hand engulfing yours, his warm thumb rubbing small circles on the back of your hand; Sam was being so sweet.
That's when the dam broke. Those tears that you were trying to hold in, fell. You reached up with your free hand, brushing your fingers against your cheek. You had never really cried before, not for real...
"Y/N? Are you okay?" You heard Sam ask, looking up at him, he had such a worried expression on his face. Your mouth opened to speak but no sound came out. With a shaking hand, you pushed the hair out of your face, nodding slightly.
"Hey, is she okay?" Dean then spoke up, peering around Castiel with a frown. "I can turn the movie off, Hell, we can watch a different movie."
You said nothing, trying to stop the tears that kept falling. Sam beside you shook his head, pulling you up to stand with him and leading you down the hall to his room. You followed along blindly, your eyes so full of tears. Sam led you to sit on the bed, taking a seat next to you. He brushed the hair from your face, caressing your cheek gently with his thumb, brushing the tears away. Your lower lip quivered, and you leaned forward burying your face into Sam's chest, wrapping your arms around him tightly. The room filled with silence, the only noise coming from the steady rhythm of Sam's breathing, his heart racing, and your small sniffles. Sam held you, one arm wrapped around your waist, the other gently caressing the back of your head; his fingers brushing through your soft hair. Sam closed his eyes, leaning down to press his nose into the top of your head.
After a few moments, you felt like you could speak without crying. "Sam," You whispered, breaking the silence, pulling back out of his arms, "Is this normal?" You asked, gesturing to the many tears on your face.
Sam gave you a small nod, his hand coming up to brush those said tears away, "Yeah, Y/N," He murmured softly, "Humans cry for a lot of reasons.”
"But, I’m not human…" You responded quietly. "I've never cried before. This is all very new." You felt a little bit better. "I guess this is the closest I'll ever be to being human. Humans and their emotions..." You muttered, turning your gaze downwards.
"Do you want to talk about it?" Sam then asked, "You don't have to if you don't want to," He added, reaching out to take your hands in his own.
You stared down at the floor, unable to look Sam in the eye for long. Eventually, you nodded your head, "Yes" You whispered, "I don't want to go back to Heaven... At least, not yet anyway."
Sam smiled slightly, squeezing your hand gently. "Well, we'll just have to have Cas bring you down here more often," He replied, clearing his throat lightly, "Dean loves you here, I... I love you... Here."
Your head shot up, seeing Sam had brought his gaze to his lap, "Really?" You asked, and Sam nodded, looking up at you with an unknown expression on his face.
"Yeah, Dean’s much nicer when you’re around,” Sam tried to joke, before he continued, “Listen... I've been meaning to tell you this for a while now," Sam began, obviously nervous as he rubbed the back of his neck. "I... You're amazing, Y/N, you are... And..." He trailed off, letting out a breathy laugh, letting go of your hand, he brought his hands to his face, rubbing it as he let out a sigh. You could tell that whatever Sam wanted to tell you was pretty difficult, and it was difficult, Sam felt like he was choking on what he wanted to say. He needed to tell you, he didn't know when he was going to see you again. So you waited patiently for Sam to continue. "I... I think I'm in love with you." He said finally, his voice quiet.
You looked at him for a second, your mind processing what he had just told you. It was so sudden, so unexpected. "You... You.. Can you please say that again?"
"I'm in love with you." Sam repeated, sure of himself, still not meeting your gaze, rubbing his hands on his jeans nervously. He looked up at you, and you saw that Sam seemed a little scared. He was waiting, hoping that you'd say the words back to him, that you were in love with him too. He couldn't help but wonder if you felt the same way.
"Are you sure?" You asked hesitantly, you swallowed thickly, "I mean... I am not-"
"I'm more sure than anything..." Sam interrupted, "More sure than I have been in a long time," He released a sigh, running his hand through his hair. The two of you sat silently for a moment, the silence filling the air; Sam's thoughts swirling around in his brain, he was trying to figure out what to do next. He didn't know where this was going. But you weren't saying anything...
You stared right back at Sam, staring into those hazel eyes that you called your home; he was a slice of Heaven away from Heaven. He was perfect. No matter how much time passed, you couldn't get enough of him. Every time you got to know him, you fell a little bit harder. You never thought that you'd fall for Sam Winchester when you accompanied Castiel to Earth two years ago. But here you were. Falling for him, loving him, wanting to spend the rest of eternity with him. You watched as Sam bit his lip, his eyes studying your features. He looked deep inside, searching for some emotion, some hint of doubt.
Complete joy seemed to flow through you, your hands shaking as you grabbed Sam suddenly by his stubbly cheeks and pulled him towards you, connecting your lips with his. You felt Sam relax instantly; you kissed him with all you had, feeling Sam smile against your lips and wrap his arms around you. You sighed happily, the soft press of lips on your own sending chills down your spine. Sam's hand slid down to the nape of your neck and he deepened the kiss. His other hand cupped the side of your face, his thumb stroking the soft skin underneath your eye, making you lean into his touch.
As the two of you broke away, Sam gently nudged his forehead against yours. "You'll come back, right?"
You let out a small breath, "I'll do all that I can to come back to you, Sam." You replied simply. A slight smile appeared on Sam's face as he leaned in again, capturing your lips in a gentle kiss.
~~~
"Should we check on your brother and Y/N?" Castiel asked Dean, who only shrugged, watching the two cowboys have a showdown on the TV screen.
"Nah," Dean let out, a smirk on his lips, "They'll be fine. When do you and Y/N leave?"
Castiel shifted in his seat slightly, making Dean look over at him, "Tomorrow. I will endure any wrath for us being late."
Dean let out a chuckle, looking back at the screen, "I think I'm rubbing off on you, Cas." Dean teased, causing Castiel to roll his eyes good-naturedly. "I think you wanted to see me, huh?" Dean asked, and Castiel turned to him, a small smile gracing his features.
"It would seem so," Castiel admitted, his blue eyes meeting Dean's emerald green ones.
Dean sighed, his arm on the back of the couch dropping on Castiel's shoulders, "I knew it," He continued to grin, though, this time it was much softer, "I'm awesome."

Podcast Interview With Idling in the Impala: "Y/N and Let Y/N…"
Here we go! Sandra and Kasey, the lovely hosts of @idlingintheimpalapodcast — the podcast for all things SPN and fanfiction — invited me on the pod for an interview…
We chatted about Dean Winchester and Jensen Ackles’ early roles, the best and worst seasons of SPN, the joys and pains of writing Soldier Boy, and much, much more.
That’s right, there be some hot takes coming in this convo, and I had an absolute blast with these two! (And like I said in Sunday's announcement, I’m also putting my name and my voice out there for the first time! 😆)
So if any of that sounds interesting, feel free to dive in!
(**Important Note: Just to preface, we recorded this back in June, so it was before I posted certain stories or even started developing Lost on You. It was also when Tumblr activity/engagement was going through a spring/summer slowdown lol.
Links to all the fics and podfics we mentioned are at the end of this post.)
Have a listen: ⤵️

Omggg hii ok so I've always wanted a fic about what the readers and Castiel's conversation or just interaction in general would be. If the two were already in an established relationship and when Lucifer was possessing Castiel had gotten intimate or something with the reader, not knowing it was Lucifer and thinking it was Castiel of course. What would his reaction be and how would he feel. Especially since he probably had to watch the whole thing go down but could do absolutely nothing about it. How would the two make up and such. <3
this is me trying - c.n

Paring; Castiel x fem!reader
Synopsis; You and Castiel struggle with the aftermath of Lucifer

“and maybe i don’t quite know what to say but I’m here in your doorway”
Taking a deep breath you leaned back against the headboard of your bed. The book in your lap no longer held your attention as you stared blankly down at it. You didn’t know how to feel about the events which have transpired over the last few days, at first you were angry and then that anger seemed to dissipate into an emptiness mixed with guilt.
Guilt that you’d not paid enough attention to notice that for the past few weeks, Lucifer had been running around in your boyfriend's body. Playing it back in your head now you noticed the strange behaviour but at the moment you’d paid no mind.
“Y/n. We need to talk.” Castiel’s voice brought you out of your head. He stood in the doorway a slight frown on his face. You knew exactly what he wanted to talk about but the whole situation still brought a bad taste to your mouth. He watched you for a moment before letting out a sigh and moving into the room.
Sitting on the edge of the bed he turned to you. “I’m not sure what else to say other than sorry.” The angel looked down at his hands as he spoke. You’d never seen him look as regretful as he did now.
“Why didn’t you say anything to me? We could’ve spoken about it Cas.” You placed your book to the side before crossing your legs. “I basically cheated on you, do you know how that feels.” You let out a sigh before reaching over to grab his hand. “I’m not angry at you, I just…I let him into our space, and I told him things thinking I was talking to you. I let him kiss me Cas, and it’s all I can think about.”
In truth, the guilt had been pretty much eating you alive. The emptiness you felt now came from the fact that the guilt had seemingly taken everything else. He was quiet for a moment before squeezing your hand and looking back up.
His eyes met yours for a moment before he shifted slightly closer. “It’s not your fault what happened. It’s my fault I know that,” He frowned again going quiet. You knew from the look on his face that he was struggling to find the words to express how he felt.
He had his own guilt over the whole situation. Having to sit back and watch someone else pretend to be him and interact with you in that way had left him feeling angry and helpless in a way he’d never experienced before. Seeing how it had affected you though was worse than any guilt he could ever feel.
“I’m willing to work with you.” He finished after a moment. He smiled at you before squeezing your hand again. “Thank you.” You squeezed his hand back. You were both quiet for a moment before you patted the space next to you. The tension from his shoulders seemed to drop at your invite and he happily moved next to you.
This was the first time since Lucifer that you’d both been alone together. A sigh of contentment left you as you settled into his side. You knew things weren’t gonna go straight back to how they were. Castiel had still broken your trust by doing what he’d done but you also knew that he would do anything to regain your trust.
You smiled up at him before leaning up to press a kiss to his lips. A smile graced his lips as your lips met his and for that moment you allowed yourself to forget about the past few weeks.

“Can’t you just…” He searches for the right word, “Heal her?” Dean finally questions, as if that answer is already obvious. The halls of the hospital are bare this time of night. Leaving Castiel alone with his thoughts, full of concern for you and guilt over not having done more. His brows are knitted together in such deep concentration, that when he turns to his friend, he almost appears angry. “I am limited, what I have isn’t enough to heal the extent of her injuries.” He explains, voice grave and deep within his throat. Dean is unsatisfied, turning away in silent frustration.
The hunter eventually spins back around, ready to unload a lecture on the Angel, but instead Castiel has vanished and Sam has rounded the corner with two small cups of coffee. His brother’s face softens. Though Sam remains confused. Slowly, he hands the styrofoam cup full of hot liquid to him. Something to keep them awake and alert. Dean mumbles a quick ‘thanks,’ before crossing the short distance to the chairs along the wall.
“Where is Cas?” Sam speaks first. “I don’t know.” Dean’s response being the usual. By his tone, he clearly is not in the mood to discuss it. Sam’s eyebrows raise momentarily, feeling as if he’d missed something, but he decides not to push his sibling any further.
The blinds that are drawn and closed to your room conceal the scene of Castiel at the side of your bed. He listened to the incessant beeping of the monitor, keeping track of your heartbeat and vitals. He stood there for quite some time, taking the time to commit every detail to memory. You looked so peaceful in your state of unconsciousness and despite your harrowing appearance, he is relieved to see you without any pain. He takes another step closer and reaches for your limp hand. Fingers laying so delicately against the white blanket that covers your legs and torso. His fingertips ghost the back of your hand as your eyelashes are fluttering against your cheeks. Quickly, his hand falls back to his side and just as you manage to lift your heavy lids. Your vision blurred and swimming of colors and light. Though you can make out his figure once he is within view. Your sight slowly returns. His raven hair is disheveled, features so distinctly pensive, and wearing the same coat which he had wrapped you in.
He slowly leans over you, examining you so carefully and closely. You’re wondering why your heartbeat stays so steady on the monitor when it seems it may burst in its cage. He is so close you can’t help but look at him. Your head tilts back into your pillow, lips parting, as if you could be offering yourself to him. His hand grips onto the bed railing, and to your disappointment, he corrects his posture. “You need rest.” He finally decides after his intense observation.
“Will you stay?” You manage with a hoarse voice.
His expression softens, blue eyes full of adornment. This you knew all too well, it was reserved for you. Were you blushing? He tilts his head in consideration, but the door suddenly pushes open and shatters your dreams. Castiel is startled and steps back, as if you’d both been caught smacking lips. The intruder clearly had interrupted an intimate moment. The display slides back on its wheels. It is evident he wasn’t anywhere near the rolling medical equipment. Only you could know his wings were to blame. This makes you suppress a giggle, which was easier than normal considering the pain you were in.
The Winchester’s stand beyond your bed. Dean and Cas share tense glares. “Already fighting I see…” You utter from your sore throat, eyes squeezing closed with a sudden cough.
Their bitterness is set aside for the time being. Everyone’s attention shifts to you. “How you feelin’?” Sam asks first, with the kindest intentions. Always the one to check on you - aside from Cas of course. You don’t have a moment to answer. “We are going to find that son of a bitch and gank him.” Dean promises and Sam glances at him questionably, but ultimately seems to feed into that plan. “We’ll find him. As soon as you’re strong enough-”
“No.” Castiel interjects. Dean is bemused. “What do you mean ‘no’?” You suddenly feel the suffocation of the dominance in the room. Your eyes looking between the two of them.
“She was nearly killed tonight. She can help in some other way.” This surprises you to hear. Cas had never spoken on your behalf, nor had displayed such concern, at least not to Sam and Dean. Especially when it came to the bigger picture, he always believed in making those sacrifices. He scoffs at the Angel. “Apparently you’ve been missing the whole point of this. We need her!” His finger pointing toward you. “So we can end this mess.” He gestures out with his hands before they slap down against his jeans. He comes face to face with the Angel. They are so close you swear their noses will touch at any moment. Castiel’s nostrils flare, lips pressed into a hard line.
Silence ensues and you feel as if you don’t exist, they didn’t even know… you’d already made up your mind.
Your body wakes naturally from the peaceful sleep that subdued you. The best sleep you’ve had in months. Much to your disappointment, Castiel has disappeared. A sinking feeling settles in your chest, as your eyes begin to search the room for any sign of him. Slowly you push yourself up, memories slowly flooding back of the night you spent in his arms. Your fingertips ghost over the areas his lips had been, recalling the bliss. How you wished it to never end.
Eventually, you pull yourself from your daydreaming and stand from the bed. You wrap yourself in a robe and decide to wander downstairs. You’re still hopeful to find Cas. You’re still floating on dreams and clouds, clinging onto every last bit of him. Which is why it crushes you when your house is solemnly empty. You glance over the table, at the mess from the previous night, before sinking down onto the couch. You clutch the fabric of your robe higher around your neck, hugging yourself in the process. Quietly you sit a while with your eyes closed. Of course you expected this, but you weren’t prepared for his departure to be so soon. You sulk in the aftermath of his absence, letting the reality of it sink it. Allowing yourself to believe that the problem still resided with you. That you weren’t capable of good, of nurturing. You were only good at running people away, ruining everything you touched.
Just as you continue to feel sorry for yourself, you notice a sheet of paper tucked beneath the cup of tea you made for him. Slowly you inch forward and lift the mug, pulling the note from under it. It was from Castiel.
‘By the time you find this, I will be gone. Forever I am indebted to you. You’ve changed me. You’ve allowed me to see this world differently. Because of that, I have to figure out where I belong. I have to set things right. Please set things right with Dean.
I’m always with you.
Castiel’
You wanted nothing more than to avoid the situation, much like you had the last few months. Which, all things considered, had been going swimmingly for you. That was until Castiel stumbled back into your life. You couldn’t even bother to stay angry with him, knowing well enough that making amends was your only way to heal and move on from the past. Reluctantly, you removed yourself from the couch and proceeded back to your bedroom to freshen up. You showered, pulled your hair up, and kept your attire casual.
The air nipped at your skin, the callings of fall beckoning in the wind. You noticed, more than ever, the way the leaves had begun to change their color. Their new shades, before dying off their branches, felt all that more significant in that moment.
Silently you slipped behind the wheel and started the engine. You pulled your seat belt snug across your lap, clicking it into place. With a hand on the steering and the other on the shift, you laid your head back against the headrest. A quiet breath escaped you, before ultimately making the decision to move forward. Thankfully, the scenic drive through Lebanon’s back roads was a nice bit of therapy for your hectic mind. What would you say to Dean? Would they be mad at you? You turned over endless possibilities, your anxiety ever increasing within the confines of the vehicle. Somewhere, in the midst of all your overthinking, you couldn’t help but recall simpler times. When your love for Castiel was merely a crush and the Winchester’s had been the brothers you never had.
You could visibly see the room you claimed. A ridiculous amount of books piled beside your bed. Occasionally stealing Dean’s set of music to blast through any lonely night. But you also could vividly see Cas in the darkness of your room. In all his heavenly glory, just as you prayed for him. He answered every time. Dean nor Sam knew of how it became a habit for him to lull you back to sleep from a nightmare. How he promised to destroy wretched demons in your honor and protect you with his life. It was his bravery, his tender heart that kept you sane. It was him, centered in the chaos, that grounded you and offered you your last shred of hope.
The bunker had finally come within view. Fear seized you once again, as your foot pressed slowly against the brake pedal. The car rolled to a stop before the door, the Impala aligned with you. You turned and removed the key, promptly stepping out onto the damp dirt. Your eyes looked over the building you never thought you’d see again, a sense of dread filled your lungs with your next breath. Even still, you forced yourself forward to the door.
You hadn’t expected the surprised look on Dean’s face, not even the strong hug that he suffocated you with. Like the sister he never wanted. His musk was familiar and, to your relief, comforting in your wake of abandonment. You soaked in the silent apologies, the warmth of his presence, and the easiness of acceptance from him. You’d known him to be stubborn, to lash out, but his promises always remained kept.
When you did finally pull away, you managed another hug for Sam. He smiled weakly at you, eyes wrinkling at the edges. It is only then that you notice how you all have come to age. How easily time slipped by. They failed to mention that the world passes quickly whether you’re having fun or not.
“I saw Cas…” You confess, this time you are facing Dean.
His eyes flicker to the floor, swallowing thickly in response. Slowly, he lifts his gaze to meet your own. Green eyes boring into yours, he isn’t ready to forgive and certainly isn’t willing to explain either. And it is this that you are unwilling to accept, to allow even.
“Dean, he needs help.” You sigh, “Our help.” You clarify with more firmness in your statement.
“Is that why you came here?”
“Dean…” Sam tries, but his brother is quick to shut him down. In fact, he doesn’t even acknowledge him, as he steps closer to you. His frame towers your own, but you aren’t one to back down, especially not from him.
“We’ve all made mistakes, but he is still your friend, your family!” You exclaim, as if something about your tone and blurred vision would bring him to his senses. Would make him think rationally about a suffering friend.
“You know what…” Dean breathes, head hanging briefly. “First it was you.” That part stings. “And I could accept that, I understood why you walked away. Hell, I hoped you’d find some peace out there. But Cas… He was our last shot and he left.” The words are bitter on his tongue, and even more foul from a man who had been betrayed. “Someone has to do the work.”
You stand between the two men, torn between guilt and loyalty. If last night was any constellation, your bond to Castiel had become stronger. More than ever you were desperate to heal this divide, to close the chapter and begin again. And yet, endlessly you seemed to go in circles with the Winchester’s and your beloved Angel. The silence is enough to break you. It is enough to push you toward impulsive decisions and ones that Castiel would disapprove of, but you were doing this for him. For the sake of humanity, which is where you stood - at the very center of it all.
“I know that I hurt you, Dean.” You admit, shakily at best. “But don’t punish him for something I caused.” Your voice barely above a whisper. The tension seems to evaporate with your truth, instead it was replaced by pain. He doesn’t dare to face that, not yet, which is why he doesn’t utter a word to you. “Let’s end this.”
You’re reminded of those dreadful four walls. The screams you emitted still haunted you at night, echoing endlessly in the chamber that was your mind. It terrifies you—the prospect of facing him again. You find yourself even more frightened by the possibility of failing and dooming those you loved the most, once and for all. While Dean failed to make any sort of reassurances in the moment, Sam was a gentle touch on your shoulder. Another kind smile. He too wanted things to resume as before, but even you were aware that would never be possible. Regardless, sparing them from seemingly written fate was the least you could do after walking away at such a dire time.
“You ready?” Dean asks the two of you.
He’s created his own variation of a ritual, old as time, to summon Alastair. Lit candles, scattered books, and a sigil.
Sam answers for the both of you, “Yeah.” He exhales, what you could only assume was nervousness.
The words are quiet at first, Dean’s Latin is practiced and more annunciated over the years. His gruff voice grows louder when the room begins to rumble beneath your feet. The empty warehouse may have met its match and you’re sure of it, the longer the earth shakes. You take a step back, the burning flames growing higher on each candle. Their wax burns faster and spills over the sides. When the demon does appear, it paralyzes you. Frozen in time, as his blackened eyes land upon you first. He smiles like a serpent, and death feels imminent under his gaze.
“Sam now!” Dean yells at the first opportunity.
You’d come to the revelation that this plan, however calculated, was not going to pan out. In fact, you saw it even before Sam lunged toward Alastair. Though he was a facade, a means to distract. It isn’t enough for an entity so powerful and you would know. Having felt his wrath one too many times.
Your presence alone was all they needed. The perfect bait. But it’s obvious now you should have isolated the encounter to you and the demon. The clock is ticking and your friend’s demise is too close for comfort. You’re not prepared to lose either of them. Alastair had condemned you once for such emotions. Your biggest weakness. The main reason you couldn’t fulfill your purpose in this world, whether that was good or evil.
Throwing all caution to the wind, you find yourself face to face with the enemy. He gives a toothy grin in response to your hardened eyes and planted feet.
“Sweet little thing…” He purrs and it’s vile.
“I’ve missed you.”
He moves forward, having left Dean and Sam indisposed for the moment. Your only means for protection was a small glass bottle of Holy water, only tucked away when Dean had handed it off to you for safe keeping. You twist the cap by the pad of your thumb, stuffed into the pocket of your jacket. Your feet keep steady, moving backwards. Your boot knocks a loose chain back against the floor. It scrapes loudly, while you’re ripping the bottle out.
You fling its contents, aiming for his face when he’s close enough. An inhuman growl rattles in his throat. You don’t waste time, eyes searching for the knife Dean had in his disposal.
The blade shines, calling to you. It rests beyond you, centered from the three of you. The handle lay across one line of the sigil that was drawn. You scramble for the weapon, but Alastair has caught you at the last second. Fingers hooking over the collar of your jacket. You kick the blade toward Dean just as he’s dragging you back.
“You little bitch.” He hisses in disapproval of your retaliation to him. Your head spins when he whips you around to face him. You stumble at every step, which he forces until you’re bent back toward a stack of broken and rotten pallets. His hand closes around the expanse of your throat. By his strength, you’re pinned in your place and struggling with prying fingers and scratching nails.
The demon rips the front of your shirt. Your chest is exposed, the beating of your heart doesn’t go unnoticed. He’s intent on devouring it first, as soon as he finishes carving it from you.
Through your thin line of vision you catch the sight of Dean. The blade wrapped in his fist. It’s your turn to smile, wickedly so.
“Don’t fuck with my friends.”
The blade stabbed clean into his back. A flicker falters in his vision, his hold on you loosening in the process. You’re standing still, awaiting him to collapse altogether.
You and the hunter are both left bewildered when Alastair seems to recover. An impossibility, or so you thought.
He doesn’t fool with the blade lodged in his back. Promptly throwing you to the ground, he turns his attention onto Dean.
“No!” You scream openly with tired lungs.
Without the energy to stand, to help your friend—you’re left to your only device.
A simple prayer. A calling to anyone who would listen.
Separated and left in peril, you and Sam tensely watch Dean take another beating. Tears prick your eyes, lips trembling. You’re fighting against every weak bone to stand, to get him. Even if it meant your life.
With your head hung and defeated, Castiel appears in the midst of anguish. The wind of angelic wings brushes your hair back, leaving your eyes shooting up to discover him. He crouches to reach your level, propped on one elbow. Gently he brushes his warm hand against your swollen cheek. He doesn’t speak, he doesn’t need to. His eyes speak a million promises.
His trench coat sways effortlessly in his movements. With the power of Heaven and his restored Grace, Alastair has met his match.
You should have known better than to think his touch was solely out of affection. It must be why you couldn’t hold your eyes open, why the world was fading away, the violence ceasing.
Perhaps the large pile of blankets were partly to blame, but the bunker had been so unbearably cold the last few days. Yet another pair of pajamas were soiled. Torn from your sleep and sitting up into the cool air of your bedroom, the figure at the edge of the bed is all the more reason to send your heart pounding in your ears again. “Damn it, Cas…” You breathe a sigh of relief and he’s amused to hear you sound so much like Dean in that instance. He’s grown used to the response, which is why he doesn’t hesitate to move forward.
“Another nightmare?” Castiel assumes with worrisome certainty.
“Yeah… I suppose I don’t realize I’m calling for you.” You blush, embarrassed to say the least, but he isn’t too adept to take notice. “I’m sorry.” You mutter.
“What for?” He’s genuinely confused. “I told you I would answer.” He says gently, though in his tone it’s almost condescending. You forgive him for that.
“Can you make it stop?” You ask, hesitant to pose such a request.
The Angel’s hardened expression smoothens. He moves to sit at the edge of your bed. You’re taken back, leaning away instinctively. You know it’s silly, but you’re worried about how sweaty your forehead may be, but he doesn’t touch you there. The warmth of his fingers, delicate and calming, slid across your cheek. They glide to your neck, over your pulse.
“I won’t leave.” He promises. “I’ll watch over you.” He insists and you have no choice but to accept it. Though you wouldn’t have thought to reject him.
Not ever.
Somewhere between conscious and a state of blissful dreams is when you awaken. Between the time Castiel has finished scolding Sam and Dean, and has closed the door to a bedroom that has since collected dust in your absence. You groggily open heavy lids to see his unpleasant expression, like a father with a troubled child. “Cas?” You manage from within your exhaustion and the hazed effect he placed over you. He approaches the bed without pause and touches you with urgency. “How are you feeling?” He asks deeply in his throat, almost as if he’s forcing his voice to reach that low of an octave.
“I’ve been better.” You grumble, while trying to move yourself away from the propped pile of pillows behind you. Castiel forces you back.
“What were you thinking?” He asks, demanding an answer with raging blue orbs. His frame hovers over you, pinned against the sheets. You’re stunned at his chosen manner to handle the situation and you were far away from wanting to argue.
“You could’ve been killed!” He growls, still holding you firmly into place.
Briefly, your eyes widen and in seconds you’re scowling at him. The man you desperately, pathetically even, had loved.
“You were the one who told me to fix things!” You counter.
“Well..” He pauses, with careful consideration. He backtracks, “That’s not what I meant.” He returns bluntly.
You are glaring up at him now and twisting to break free, but this version of Castiel is one you are unable to overpower. You despise him this way. How he still manages to conjure up those same desires, the ones you felt while being tangled in your sheets with him. The feelings you harbored back in that god forsaken hospital bed, hoping he would find the courage to kiss you. It is all the same now, burning and raging between the two of you.
“I was afraid I lost you.” He relents, breathing out heavily through his nostrils.You accept this form of apology, it was all he had.
You cup his face with one hand. “I’m right here.”
You watch the tension drain from him, fall from his shoulders even and it takes all he has not to melt into you. You help him with that part, pulling him closer and wantonly. The hand that isn’t against his cheek, rests just at the top of his back. Eagerly you welcome his lips to yours.
It’s so long overdue that it’s leaving you dizzy before you’ve even begun. Castiel obliges and it’s bruising in return. You gasp and it’s swallowed by his kiss.
He’s still the one to pull away and with concern.
“What about Dean and Sam?” He questions. Only he would be worried of being caught in the act. You, on the other hand, were entirely enticed by the idea.
“Oh, shut up and kiss me.”
You find purchase on the lapels of his trenchcoat, dragging him over you. Your patience is lacking and that’s evident in the way your fingers work at his tie. Once undone, your work on the buttons of his dress shirt. His recognizable coat is left on the floor beside you. You continue to help him, knowing you won’t have much time to spare. His belt is undone, pants unzipped. You free his cock with your hand, fisting him.
The newly restored Angel gives you a sinful groan. You snicker with pride before warning him, “Be quiet. They’ll hear you.” You whisper. His eyes widen and you’re worried he may be too timid to continue.
Your ministrations keep him right where he needs to be, just as you urge him to take your jeans off. His touch isn’t as gentle as you remember. You watch him yank the denim and your panties down your thighs first, over your knees, and then clean off. He pushes them aside on the bed and settles between your legs, that so easily fall open for him. Like a Holy invitation.
He takes it upon himself to align his head at your entrance. His blue eyes search yours for permission. Your legs hook around his clothed hips. “Go ahead, baby.” You speak airy and light. It leaves him shuddering in his place, and again when he sinks into you.
You whine uncontrollably. When he rocks forward, you do your best to stifle the noises that rise in your throat. The stretch of him is just as delicious as it had been the first time and you would assume he agrees by the look on his handsome face. You admire him, lovingly holding him to you. Both of you half clothed and ravenous for each other. You kiss him, heavily, in a bid to keep your noises down. He only moves faster, his hips meeting yours over and over.
“F-fuck…” You stammer.
“You feel even better. How is that possible?” He grunts against your ear. You know that question is expecting an answer. You don’t have one.
“Cas…” You pant. “Please don’t stop.” You beg him.
“Don’t worry.” He speaks your name and the way it leaves his tongue is what makes your walls clench around him. “I want to hear you make all the noises you made before.” He means that.
You weren’t sure if it was his Grace or the time that had passed, but his newfound confidence was driving you closer to your release. Which would have been reached sooner had it not been for the sudden rap at the door. There wasn’t any need for it, but Cas’s hand smashes against your mouth. You breathe in through your nose.
“Everything alright in there?” The older Winchester asks from the other side.
His movements pause and that is what ultimately makes you whimper. His hold tightens.
“Fine!” Cas states, laced with annoyance.
If it wasn’t for your current position, you would have giggled.
“We are… conversing…” Cas explains awkwardly and unnecessarily. You can only imagine the eye roll Dean’s given. “Yeah well, we are ordering take-out. So… snooze you lose!” With that, Dean retreats away from the door and back down the hall.
Once Castiel is certain you are in the clear, he removes his hand from your mouth. “No more stalling, please…” You complain, pushing your hips into his. He doesn’t leave you waiting and resumes, reaching his original pace. Your fingers press against his back, spreading across the fabric of his dress shirt.
“That’s it…” You encourage him. “That’s so good, my Angel.” You praise him, your eyes half way rolling back into your head. Your mouth falls open, while he perfectly moves how you need him most. Without much thought left, you’re whining and making all sorts of sounds. Just how he wanted. And as quickly as you fall, Castiel does the same.
He collapses against you and you hold him tightly against your warmed skin. Your legs fall loosely around him, one hand holding the back of his head. You’d never felt so serene. So safe.
“Cas.” Is finally what you utter after catching your breath.
He lifts his head to give you his fullest attention. He recovers faster than before. His hair is just as messy as you remember, only this time it is your fault. Nonetheless, he’s looking at you in that way that makes your knees like jelly. At least you were lying beneath him.
You're overcome with emotion. “When I prayed…” You start off weakly. “I didn’t know what had happened to you. If you were even-” You stop yourself from finishing that thought. “I suppose, a part of me knew to pray for you.”
His reserved expression makes its appearance, just for you. Once again, he doesn’t have to utter those words you would like to hear. But he does say something you knew had always been true.
“And now you know…”
You tilted your head, basking in the afterglow of your lovemaking.
“I will always answer.”

A Christmas Surprise
Dean Winchester x Angel!reader
Warnings: FLUFF, reader has a crush on Dean, Christmas fluff, too many pies for a single man, READER IS AN ANGEL, Castiel and the reader does not know how to bake, a kiss, all angels are siblings
Summary: While the boys are out on a hunt, you decide with the help of your favorite angel to make Christmas happen in the Bunker.
*Merry Christmas readers*
Tumblr media
The bunker was quiet without the two hunters roaming the halls. Instead, it was just you and your favorite angel. The two of you wanted to give the boys something to look forward to when they got home. It was also a way for you to finally tell Dean how you felt. You could not do that unless you had a few pies to hide behind.
With the help of a fellow angel, it shouldn't be that hard. Boy were you wrong.
---
"So I believe we add the flour to the bowl," You say as you do so.
"Pour 1/2 cup of water and stir for three minutes without letting sitting," Cas said.
You looked at him funny but did as he said.
"Wait, how do we know if it's been three minutes?"
"I will count," Castiel said as he began counting out loud.
You stood from your seat and stirred the batter for three minutes without sitting.
Flour was everywhere somehow. You don't know how it got in your hair and all over Cas but it did. But then you remembered Cas messing up on his counting and you threw a handful of flour at him which resulted in a flour war.
The two of you laughed and started to be serious again.
Once the flour had been rolled into the crusts, you begin placing everything together.
"Wait, Dean likes his apples fresh," You said. You snapped your fingers and disappeared. You then reappeared with a basket of apples from the local orchard.
"Dean will like the fresh apples I got," You said hopefully.
"Why must you be so perfect with everything?"
"Because, dear brother, I am an angel and you need to stop being a butthead."
"I'm being a butthead? How about you with your fresh apples?" He said before throwing one at you. This resulted in another war of food throwing.
The two of you started to mix everything together once you guys called truce and you placed the pies in the oven. You looked at the pretty dessert and smiled at your handiwork.
"Now to make the Christmas tree."
---
You and the angel appeared in the tree farm with a lot of Christmas trees. The two of you looked around for the perfect tree, which the two of you did find. It was 6 feet and was covered with snow. You brought it back to the bunker, where you started to decorate it with some decorations you had bought.
The pies were done so they were placed on the counter to cool as you argued with Castiel over which decoration goes at the top.
"I want the star," You yell at the tall angel.
"Well I want the angel at the top."
"I don't care what you want, I want the star."
"No, it will be the angel."
"Brother, let me have the star or I will stab you with an angel blade," You threaten. You were younger than him but he still looked at you with a bit of fear.
He gave you the star and you smiled with content. You placed it gently on top of the tree and you let out a cheer.
"We need presents."
---
You set off to the store to get presents. For Sam, you found a very nice amount of books that you knew he would love. You also got him some fruit because you knew he liked to be healthy.
For Dean, you looked in 15 different stores before you found what you wanted. You got him a brand new gun case, which you carved the proper symbols to keep monsters out of it, and you got him more cassette tapes for Baby. Which you even got him some stuff for Baby so that he can keep taking care of her nicely.
Cas got Dean a bunch of horror movies and he got Sam a set of hair products because he liked how Sam's hair was always nice.
"Hair stuff?" You asked.
"What? I like his hair."
"No you like the smell it brings after he is done in the shower."
"Well it's not my fault that all Dean eats is bacon and eggs."
The two of you wrapped everything up in some pretty red wrapping paper and set it under the tree. You weren't sure when the boys were going to be home but you were happy with everything until you realized that you needed Christmas lights everywhere in the bunker.
You and Cas ran around with hoards of Christmas lights to light up every part. You even put some on the bathroom walls. You placed them everywhere. In Dean's room, in Sam's room, in your room, in the kitchen, in the bathroom, on the railing of the stairs, and even the war room.
After all of the running around and getting everything ready, you got dressed in a silly little elf costume because you heard that people do that.
---
Since you had only been with the brothers for a little over five years, you were trying to get used to everything here on Earth. Heaven was very much different. See you were supposed to bring Castiel back to Heaven to be with the angels because they thought he was going soft but then you met Dean Winchester. You saw how much Castiel cared for the boys and you started to realize that your place was with your brother.
You had grown feelings over time for Dean but you knew that he would never take an interest in you because you were an angel and Castiel's sister of all things. But you knew that you had to do something about these human emotions so you were going to tell Dean how you felt about him.
---
The boys came home and were confused by all of the lights. Dean though, he smelt pie so he ran to the kitchen where he found you in an apron cutting the pies into pieces. To his surprise, there were more than thirty pies in that kitchen.
"Hey sweetheart, what's with the pies huh?" He asked.
"I made these for you. Cas helped out a bit."
"Why are there so many?"
"Because we were baking and Cas messed up his counting so we made too much so we just made all of these. Also a lot of these were trial runs." You shrugged as if it was normal to have thirty pies around you.
He smiled and Sam hollered for him to come to the library for a moment. You smiled because you knew he found the tree.
"What the?" Sam said.
"I made us a tree. Do you like it?"
"Like it? I love it so much I could kiss you," Dean exclaimed.
Your heart started to beat faster and you knew that Castiel could tell.
---
After all of the gift sharing and unwrapping, you all headed to the kitchen but Dean stopped you.
"Thank you for all of this." He said.
"Your welcome, Dean."
"I know that you don't understand all of this because you are an angel and you guys don't understand this kind of stuff but I really am glad you did this," Dean said softly, looking at you with great fondness.
"I know that it is special to you humans to celebrate Christmas."
"Hey, guys look above you!" Sam called out.
Above the two of you was a mistletoe that you hadn't placed there. You glanced at Cas but all he did was shrug.
"I guess we have to kiss," Dean said, looking down at your lips.
"I guess we do. But first I have to tell you that I like yo-" Dean cut you off with the most breathtaking kiss you ever had. In fact, it was your first kiss ever. His lips moved against yours and you wrapped your arms around his neck.
"Guys, I want to eat!" Cas yelled.
The two of you parted and walked to the kitchen after a brief moment of looking at each other.
"Alright, who wants pie?" You asked as Dean wrapped his arms around your waist.
"I do!" And everyone knew whose mouth that came from.
"Merry Christmas everyone!" We all said at the same time before digging into the pies.

Whiskey on the Tongue
Tumblr media
Pairing: Dean Winchester x Reader
Summary: You are the forbidden fruit Dean had always wanted to taste, and when you steal his whiskey the way you do, he is powerless to resist.
Words: 2.2k
A/N: This is my first ever Supernatural fic after having started watching the show just before Christmas. I know I'm late to the game but is it ever really too late to start loving a fandom? I've tried to make the reader generic in every way other than being cis-female, and Dean finding her hot.
It's been an absolute age since I wrote anything and probably longer since I posted anything here on Tumblr but I'm getting back into it now. Hopefully this finds its way to people in the Supernatural fandom who love a bit of Dean smut.
I hope you enjoy and, as always, I value your comments and feedback.
Warnings: Smut, explicit smut, alcohol consumption, mentions of people who have passed away, profanity as standard with pretty much everything I write.

Dean let his head fall back against the headboard, clenching his fists to try to distract himself from the deep ache in his left leg.  It had been falling asleep for well over an hour now, but he didn’t want to move and disturb you.
The door to his room in the bunker was closed.  Locked, in fact, though he did not remember doing it.  You didn’t comment or so much as move when Sam brayed on the door and tried the handle, calling out for Dean to return his book.  The very book that was in your hands right now.
“I need that book back, Dean.”  Sam grumbled.
“Not now, Sammy!”  Dean called back, hoping his little brother would just go away.
“I’m researching Nephilim to help Cas with the Kelly situation, Dean.  It’s important.”  Sam became more insistent.
“I said NOT NOW, SAM!”  Dean hollered with a kind of finality that even Sam wouldn’t argue with.
Outside the door, Sam huffed and stalked away.  Dean looked down to see you looking up at him from your position, lay on his bed.  Your head was resting on his left calf, his leg bent with his foot tucked under his right knee.  You had your knees up with your foot tapping along to his banging playlist, your jeans tight around your thighs and with your head tilted back he could see all the way down the deep V of your t-shirt.
He was going to hell.  Straight there.  Do not pass go.  Do not collect two hundred dollars.  And he probably deserved it.
He snapped his eyes up towards the ceiling but it was too late, he could feel himself stirring uncomfortably in his jeans.  If Bobby was alive he would have skinned him raw just for having you in his room.  Bobby was always protective of you, his niece.  You were only a couple of years younger than Sam but Bobby had made himself very clear that you were off limits.
“If you touch one single hair on her body, I’ll make you regret the day your balls dropped.  Do you hear me, boy?”
Bobby Singer.  That man did not mince his words.  And to this day, Dean had taken that threat as gospel.  Even now that Bobby was up there with the Angels, that son of a bitch would find a way to keep his word.
You shifted, causing a painful twang to shoot up his leg.  The reflexive grunt he failed to stifle made you look back up at him, giving him that glorious view again.
Dean decided he could die like this.  If having a dead leg was a legitimate threat to his life, he would go out happy with the view of your rack in that lacy black bra he could see within the V-shaped window of that too-tight t-shirt.
He raised his eyes, once again to heaven, asking Bobby to forgive him or give him strength or something because – god help him – he wanted to take you right then and there.
It wasn’t unusual for you to seek him out after a case when you didn’t want to be alone, but you didn’t want to talk.  You would just sit while he drank, reading or working on spells.  You said he quieted the noise in your head.  Hell, he wasn’t going to argue, you were a sight for sore eyes every time he came home.  You were wicked hot and sexy in a non-slutty way.  Not that slutty was bad.  Dean liked slutty.  But that wasn’t you, you were different.
A drink.  That’s what was missing.  Dean needed a damn drink, especially if you were going to torture him by laying on him all evening.
He reached over to his bedside unit, for the bottle he kept in there for special occasions.  A bottle of twenty-five-year-old Speyside single malt that he liberated from the British Men of Letters on his last interaction with Ketch.
The pour made you stir again but it wasn’t until he raised the cut crystal tumbler to his lips did you move.  Your hand came up and claimed the glass from underneath, twisting it as you sat up so as not to spill any.
“Where’s yours?”
The cheeky glint in your eye had him pursing his lips in mild annoyance.
“Don’t pout.”  You lifted the glass, turning it until the mark left by his lips touched yours and you sipped, looking him straight in the eye.
Dean’s jaw went slack.  The glisten of the whiskey on your lips and the satisfied hum you made when you swallowed – he swallowed unconsciously when you did – made his mouth go dry.  He had never seen you like this.
You moved to kneel on the bed and walked your way slowly closer, giving his leg a tap; an instruction to move it aside.  He did, causing pins and needles to infest his nerves like ants swarming on a log to escape a flood.
Knelt between his spread legs, you brought the glass to your lips again, sipping at the amber liquid.  You leaned in.
Dean watched you, breathing shallow, attention rapt.  You hadn’t so much as touched him, yet every nerve in his body felt like it was on fire in the best possible way.  The closer you got the shallower he breathed until he was almost holding his breath, looking down his nose at how close your lips were.  His eyelashes looked to flutter against his cheeks just as yours did when you brushed your whiskey dappled lips against his.
He refused to lick where you had been.  He couldn’t.  As soon as he tasted, he would pounce, and…
“Don’t.”  He croaked out when you moved to lay your lips on him once more.
You looked confused but at least you didn’t look hurt.  He couldn’t bear it if you looked hurt because of him.
“Bobby…”  Was all he could say through his constricting throat.
You smiled then, full of amusement, lips brushing against his, you whispered “he’ll understand.”
Dean tried not to respond to you but you coaxed his lips apart and teased your tongue to meet his, short circuiting his brain.  The taste of the scotch and the sweetness of your mouth made him groan.  He had fantasised about having you for years, but never did he think it would be you seducing him.
His hands on your hips guided you roughly to straddle him, the bulge in his jeans pushing up against you as you settled.  He took the glass from your hands and downed the contents, his eyes on yours as he dropped the glass carelessly on the bedside unit.
Your lips met his again but this time you devoured each other, tongues stroking together, moans stifled by each other’s mouths.  He trailed his hands up your body, dragging your t-shirt along with them.  Finally, he could see what he had been having glimpses of this whole evening.  Plush breasts cupped in scant lace that was completely impractical for a hunt, Dean realised, like you had meant to come here like this.  You had intended this from the beginning.
He tore at the lace, dragging it under your breasts to free them, shoulder straps slipped down.  Pawing at them like he had never touched a tittie before, all he wanted to do was suck and nip and nibble.
Your breathy sigh was divine, and the moan that followed was filthy.  You cupped the back of his head as he took your nipple into his mouth and sucked hard, pressing him further, asking for more.
While he worked on your breasts you undid his belt and fly, reaching into the front of his shorts to release him from the awkward angle at which he was trapped.  You stroked him, firm but slow, feeling him for the first time.  You had always wondered what he had going on down there that every woman he had ever been with would come back for more at the drop of a hat.  You weren’t disappointed.
Dean lifted his hips, you thought to allow you to push his jeans down but instead he flipped you, making you squeal.  Once under him, he ravished your breasts anew, pinching one nipple hard while licking and sucking the other.  Soon you were a mewling mess, hips writhing, begging for something he hadn’t given you yet.  Excited that he had taken control away from you, you watched him sit up and yank your jeans down, lifting your legs until they were bare.  Your knickers followed and he spread your legs without preamble, lowering himself between your thighs until his hair and eyes were all you could see above your mound.
“Jesus Christ of Nazareth!”
You groaned as he suckled against your sensitive spot.  Fuck, he was good with his tongue.  Everything about him was good except his image.  Bad boy Dean Winchester.  He was every woman’s wet dream.  He had been your wet dream since you were seventeen.  But now you were plenty old enough and finally getting what you wanted.
Bobby had told you to stay away from him when you were a kid.  Dean had a reputation as a ladies man even then, but he respected your uncle Bobby enough to keep his distance… until now.
Dean dipped two fingers inside, creating pressure in exactly the right spot.  You gasped and gripped his hair as your pleasure began to crest, tugging on it for dear life.  He looked up at you then, to see your eyes closed against the intensity of it, neck and face flushed red with your oncoming orgasm.  When it came, the pulsing of your core was his sign to slow down.  He left off his suckling and stroked you through the pleasure, watching you all the while.  You were a beautiful mess.
“That’s my girl.”  He praised you in that deep rough tone you adored, helping prolong your climax until you took his hand away yourself.  “Are you ready for me?”
You nodded, allowing him to lift your knees up and stroke the weeping tip of his cock over your swollen clit.
From the front pocket of the jeans he still wore, he pulled a foil packet with Trojan embossed on it.  He was swift with its application, aiming his tip just so.
When he slid home, your eyes rolled back and you reached to grip his forearms.  It was something Dean would never get tired of seeing but it felt that much different with you.  You were the forbidden thing he had always wanted but could never have.  Even now he didn’t know whether he would come to regret this.  God, he hoped not.
Balls deep in you, he leaned forward to kiss you, wrapping your legs around his hips.  His instinct was to fold you in half and pound the living shit out of you, but you were already overwhelmed and he wanted to make this soft for you.
“Tell me what you need.”  He spoke softly as he nuzzled your neck.
“Just you, like this.”  You sighed.  Who knew Dean Winchester was a considerate lover.
His slow, measured thrusts brought you closer to the edge, your core fluttering each time, he could feel it.  It surprised him how quickly is climax built at this pace, but the added connection you both shared seemed to turn him on.  He would never give up Busty Asian Babe porn but he could get used to this with you.
You didn’t close your eyes against the pleasure this time, you watched him come undone above you, gasping as his orgasm made his legs and arms shake, muscles clenched tight to keep his weight from collapsing on you.  When he swelled you dug your fingers into his hips to pull him deeper with each stroke, and when he spilled you also came, eyes fluttering shut finally.
Dean knelt up, slipping the rubber off as soon as he was clear of you and, tying a knot in the end, tossed it in the direction of the trash can.
“Shot.”  You said with a smile as the sticky bundle went straight in the can.
He quirked and eyebrow and give you a slightly smug lopsided smirk that said:  What can I say?  I don’t miss.
When you moved to sit, he stopped you.
“Here, lemme get that.”
“Thanks.”
He stripped his t-shirt off and used it to clean up the wetness between your legs.  Though none of it was his, it would still dribble when you moved.  Afterwards he tucked it under your ass and flopped down on the bed at your side, moving his arm behind your head so you could rest it on his chest.  You were both content.  Both had goofy grins on your faces.  Both disbelieving that you had finally gotten what you wanted.
A loud knock at the door started you.
“Are you done?”  Sam said.  “I need that book.”
“NO!”  You and Dean shouted back in unison, laughing afterwards.
“Bobby’s gonna kill you.”  Sam called back through the door.
“I KNOW!”  Dean yelled gruffly, pulling you closer.
There might be a time in the future where the ghost of Bobby Singer came to make him regret the day his balls dropped and, if it happened, Dean would be happy to see him again.  In the meantime, you and he could work on a whole bunch of reasons to make the cranky old bastard come down from up high for a visit.
Dean pulled the sheets over both of your heads, nibbling at your neck until you moaned his name.  Aside from the roar of Baby’s engine, he had found his new favourite sound.

A/n: Finding a title is so hard. I got stuck on this one for way too long. Big thanks to my friends that helped me!

From the outside, Y/n looked like a Saint. Cute, she wasn't very tall and almost sickly shy, and her social anxiety didn't help her case at all.
Since she didn’t have many friends, Y/n spent her time at the library surrounded by stories that made her forget how alone she felt. The characters on these yellowed sheets would never judge or criticize her, it was a comfort in which she really liked to immerse herself, especially after a hard day.
It was also where she met the Winchester brothers for the first time.
For someone like Y/n, the complete opposite of popular, invisible to people even when she was in the same room with them, the Winchesters were the pinnacle of perfection. Bodies built like gods, well-defined faces, piercing eyes, they gave off a strong and dominating aura that attracted the gaze of everyone in their path. And Y/n was no exception.
The moment the two brothers walked near her table at the library, there was no longer any need to read. Her book closed by itself in front of her, as she no longer held it open, her eyes fixedly stuck on the two men. Following their directions with her gaze, she turned her head, almost hurting her neck.
The colors around her suddenly seemed more vivid. The sounds, sweeter to the ear. She strained her ear to better listen to their conversations. And it was then that the stories she loved reading so much... Became reality.
Y/n had always had a habit of making herself fade away. Not wanting to attract attention, remaining discreet and making herself as small as possible. But the moment she saw them, it was like a light bulb went on inside her, and filled her with a life she had never really felt. And she decided to change that.
She didn’t want to hide anymore.
It was an adventure awaiting her, just like in her books. Filled with villains, monsters, but also angels, laughter, food and finally, a place where she belonged. It didn't take long for her to take part in their lives, quickly becoming a full member of their families. Although she wasn’t trained to be in the field hunting monsters, her lifelong experience of extensive reading was too vital and important to refuse her help.
Initially, Y/n was assigned to research. It was perfect for her, she could show them how efficient she was at this task so they would give her more to do eventually. Quickly, she climbed the ranks in the Winchesters' trust and became closer to them.
Everything about her personality was perfect to fit with Sam's. And yet, as the months stretched into years, she inevitably grew closer to Dean. Some will say that opposites flock together, and they are not wrong. Dean was the opposite of Y/n, stubborn, he didn't hesitate to say what was on his mind and loved seeing the adorable expression that invaded her face when he made inappropriate or worse, sexual comments. Immediately, Y/n would disappear from the room almost like magic, or she would become so embarrassed that he took pity and immediately changed the subject.
Y/n had a purity that Dean never had, and it was one of the reasons why even after all this time knowing her, he was still reluctant to let her come with them on hunts. Or even to involve her in anything that could endanger her or defile this purity. If he could keep her from losing that sparkle in her eyes, he would, no matter the cost.
After a few months of dating, Y/n finally agreed to live in the bunker with them. Dean helped her move in, putting her things in a room other than his, and although not sharing the same bed disappointed him a little, he understood why. She wasn't ready, and he insisted on her comfort. He was willing to wait for her as long as it took.
“If I had known you had that many boxes, I would have brought in extra hands,” Dean huffed, placing yet another heavy box on the ground. Straightening up, he raised his arms above his head to stretch his back.
“Sorry, all my books,” Y/n shrugged and lowered her head, embarrassed.
With a quick wave of his hand, Dean signaled that it was nothing. “It only takes a little longer but it’s no problem,” he quickly said to reassure her, so she wouldn’t feel bad about having so much stuff. After all this time knowing her, he knew how important her books were to her.
Her 500 books which weighed bricks to transport…
“I'll go get another box,” she accepted Dean's answer and as she passed him on her way out, left a quick kiss on the cheek. It was Dean's turn to react, his face quickly turning red.
“Okay, in the meantime, I'm going to start…” Glancing at the mountain of cardboard, Dean sighed again. “Cleaning a little…”
Sam wasn't there. Although he proposed his help for moving her stuff in, Dean's ego was more powerful. As a boyfriend, he had to take care of his girlfriend himself. Without help. Showing her that he was there for her, and that she would always be his priority.
Dean had been in several relationships in the past. And he loved each woman with all of his soul. But each time, his work, his family or the apocalypse had forced him to leave. It had been a very difficult task each time, but he had done it.
Just the thought of leaving Y/n had the same effect as losing a limb. It was unthinkable.
Ah shit. He was in love.
Him, in love?
It was the first time.
… Wait a minute.
He was in love with her.
This realization hit him harder than he expected. Dean took a few steps back, his head spinning quickly. He was in love. He wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. Never in his entire life had he felt this kind of thing for someone, feelings so strong, so true. When they were together, he felt so good, like he had finally found the thing he was missing. The person he needed.
Dean took another step back, and inevitably, his legs encountered a box. He lost his balance and, trying not to cause a landslide, had to hold himself against the nearest thing… Another box.
This one was strangely and unfortunately lighter than the others and failed to stop him from doing damage. Luckily, Dean kept his balance and avoided the embarrassment of falling on his butt, but the box fell to the ground.
“Son of a bitch,” he grumbled as he hurried to pick it up. As he took it, he noticed that it was not closed properly. It was definitely not his plan to go through Y/n's personal belongings, but when he opened the box to close it better, he couldn't help but see what was inside.
And it wasn't his fault. The first item on top was a box that displayed the inscription of its contents, and his curiosity, well… took care of the rest.
“What the…” taking the item in question, Dean examined it. His hunter's eye detected every detail, inscriptions, the wear on the cardboard and even the place where the packaging had once been sealed before opening. The sticky paper seemed to have been removed so quickly, the color of the cardboard remained stuck on it. It was exactly as if its owner, eager to have the object, hadn’t been concerned by the breakage of its packaging.
SO. It was still possible that the contents were not what was written in black and white on the packaging. It was still a possibility. Dean understood, it was his duty to get to the bottom of it once and for all. Otherwise, the question would haunt him for the rest of his life.
Heart racing for no good reason, Dean placed his fingers where the paper was torn off and pulled the tab. Then, breathless, he opened the box and peered inside.
“Son of a bitch,” his mouth breathed along with the last of his oxygen. No... he couldn't believe it. As if he needed further proof that his eyes had already given him, Dean reached into the box and pulled out the object.
It was still in its bag, but an opening proved its frequent use. Both soft and very hard, it was of regular size and of a pretty pink shade. Dean didn't need to take it out of the bag to know that underneath was the little hole to get charged, the wire still in the box.
In his hand, Dean held the thing he never thought he would hold… Let alone find among his girlfriend's stuff. The sweet, pure, shy Y/n.
Scared that she would come back and see him like this, Dean quickly put the pink dildo vibrator back in its box. A thousand questions swirled through his mind and his heart still hadn't stopped pounding in his ribcage. In his eagerness and nervousness, Dean almost dropped the box, so he had to pull himself together to put it back exactly where he had found it.
And that was when he saw them.
There were plenty of them. A dozen even. Some had their original packaging, others had boxes without inscription. Curiosity rose in Dean who forgot the presence of his girlfriend and owner of these toys in the bunker. It was like suddenly he was alone in the world as he began to pull out everything he had in front of his eyes, his pupils dilating with each new discovery.
Small portable vibrator. One that looked like a butterfly, insertable and vibrant. A… dolphin? A flesh-colored dildo, including ball and base with suction. A magic staff. Purple, pink, black, the colors were added one after the other. And then suddenly...
Dean came across the largest box.
It was curiously and surprisingly big for what was inside. Dean couldn't help it. It was heavy, there was no doubt about the contents, but he had to see it with his eyes, hold it in his hands, and absorb reality.
It couldn't be that big... right?
And oh my god.
“Now that’s something you definitely shouldn’t try at home…”
Examining it from every angle, he still couldn't understand. The words “bad dragon” were forever imprinted in his brain along with the image of that purple and blue hued dildo. It was imposing, as tall as it was wide, and the different textures were strange but pleasant to the touch. And inevitably, his brain went in that perverse direction he imagined...
Her moans filled the room and the echo was carried throughout the whole bunker. Sounds of pleasure? No. Of frustration. She moaned as she tried as best she could to get the dildo into her entrance, which was still too tight for such a monster. But her determination only grew with her goal, and the idea alone of being able to have all those inches inside her was so exciting that she almost didn't need any lube.
“Oh fuck,” breathed through her lips as the head of the toy finally pierced the breach. Her head tilting back, she wiggled on the dildo to widen her entrance to accommodate the rest. Kneeling over the toy made it easier for her to maneuver her body and part her lips for guidance. And when finally the dildo was inside her, a long sigh of relief mixed with the pleasure of having succeeded hissed between her lips.
“I love the view…”
Dean hadn't missed a single thing. Standing in the doorway, he watched, admired, and nourished himself with the magnificent view before him. Kneeling on the bed facing him, she knew he was there. Even though her eyes were closed, she felt his presence, heard his heavy breathing. And then there was the rustling of his clothes every time he adjusted his position or reached for his swollen crotch.
It was one of the hottest things she had ever experienced. The desire was so strong it was palpable. The smell of sex filled the room. A moan passed her lips as she opened her eyes to look at him, her breath leaving her lungs, making the air almost unbreathable because it was so saturated.
"Oh. No."
The sound of a heavy object hitting the ground brought him back to consciousness. Then it took him several seconds to realize the voice that had spoken just before the impact, what it had said and who it belonged to. Turning towards the door, Dean's eyes were wide open, the green almost disappearing from his irises because his pupils were so dilated.
Her face was not in any better condition. As her eyes, wide with fear and shame, moved between what he was holding and the box behind him and finally settling on him, Dean could see the embarrassment quickly filling her being.
“What is this?”
Still shocked by his discovery and what it implied, these words were the first and only ones that had managed to escape his lips. Obviously, he knew what it was, and what it was for. However, he needed to hear it from her mouth. To confirm what his eyes had already understood.
His question only made her more uncomfortable.
“You weren’t supposed to see that,” she muttered under her breath, lowering her head and crossing the distance between them to grab the dildo and remove it from the hunter’s hands. All this to hide the evidence that had already been consumed, unfortunately. “Please, forget about it,” she pleaded, still refusing to meet his gaze. Her hand resting next to Dean's on the dildo, she tried to take it back, but was surprised to see that he didn't want to let it go. “Dean?”
“It’s impossible,” his voice was low, almost a breath lost in the tension of the air. “Unfortunately… I’m turned on by that. And here I thought you were all pure and shy…” Taking a pause in his words only made the state Y/n was in worse. Next to Dean, she felt his breath against her cheek, and the heat of his body. It was heavy, his chest moving in time with his harsh breathing. As if he had to do everything to hold back. “I waited for you to be ready, and I'll still wait but… Y/n…” As she still refused to raise her head and meet his gaze, Dean took his other hand, the one that wasn't holding the dildo, to gently lift Y/n’s chin. “Thinking about you touching yourself with that… oh fuck, it’s hot, sweetheart.”
“Yeah?” A shy smile appeared on her lips, her eyes watering at how she was embarrassed but still... Very excited by this idea.
“Oh yeah,” Dean swallowed, his green eyes darting from Y/n's lips to her eyes, then back to her lips. Like two magnets held too far apart, but at the same time too close, it was inevitable.
Dean pressed his mouth to Y/n’s, kissing her forcefully. The dildo was quickly put aside, both needing their hands to touch the other. Dean placed his on Y/n's waist, and her around his neck. Her nails scratched the soft part of his neck, leaving red marks he would never see. It was intense, they almost devoured each other with an insatiable appetite. Opening her lips, Y/n stuck her tongue out barely, just enough to give access to Dean who was quick to push his tongue into her mouth. The kiss became languorous, messy, even, and Y/n backed into a box and almost fell. Dean broke the kiss to ask if she was okay, but she silenced him by replacing her lips on his to continue the kiss.
Their mouths didn't leave each other as clothes flew around the room, some getting stuck on boxes while others fell to the floor. Eventually, they managed to maneuver through the mountains of boxes to get to the bed. Y/n plopped down on the mattress and laughed against Dean’s mouth which only took a second to find its way back to hers. Now both were shirtless and their hands explored each other without stopping.
Finally, Y/n broke the kiss to speak.
“I want you to watch me.”
“What?” Dean was panting, his erection so painful in his pants he was afraid it would explode at the slightest touch. Like a hungry lion demanding its prey, he tried to grab Y/n's lips but she refused him access by placing her fingers between them.
“I want you to watch me use the toy…” If she was an angel a few moments ago, the Y/n he had, lying under him on the bed, half naked, was a little devil hidden under the appearance of a Saint.
Just the thought of seeing her in real life masturbating with the monster he had found made Dean gulp and push himself up so he was on his knees. His face was so red, he had trouble understanding how there could still be blood in his length.
“Are you sure? I mean, I… I can’t say no to that, fuck, but… I don’t want you to feel forced or…”
“Dean,” she interrupted, a smile tugging at her lips. “I really want to. And I know you want it too.” Y/n took a deep, slightly shaky breath before continuing. “So… Bring me the one you want me to use… And get comfortable.”
Dean swallowed and looked at his girlfriend's face. Since he had known her, they had never been this far in their intimacy. And he would never have imagined that she had this in her. Obviously he was surprised, but it was a very pleasant surprise. Like an excited child on Christmas morning, Dean rushed to the box of adult toys and once again admired all the choices presented to him. Each of them infused an image, each more erotic than the other, into his mind. For a moment, he hesitated to take the monster he had found shortly before, but decided that for now, this view was better in his mind. And he didn't want to embarrass Y/n even more than she was, what she was proposing was very intimate, very sexy, but also terribly hard to do. To open up like this, to show yourself like this...
Dean returned to his girlfriend, a box in hand. “This one,” he held out the box, knowing full well what it contained. Y/n took it, hesitated for a few seconds while staring at it in her hands. Just as Dean was about to repeat that she didn't have to, that they could continue to just makeout and that was okay, she opened the box and took out the toy.
It was a simple one. No vibration, just a flesh colored dildo with suction at the bottom. It wasn’t the biggest she owned, but it was still big, almost as big as Dean’s cock. So to see her use this, he could easily picture him in her…
Just the thought sent another wave of arousal down his pants.
“Do you need a moment, or lube or…” Dean was still standing up near the bed as she was on her knees on the mattress. For the first time, he was clueless and didn't know what to do. And yet, it was not his first time, nor the last, that he had more kinky moments with his partner. But Y/n was different, she wasn't just his sexual partner, but the woman he loved. And the prospect of getting even closer and more intimate was worth more than any sex he could have.
“I want you to watch the whole thing,” Y/n replied, lifting her ass off the mattress just enough to undo her pants and pull them down along with her panties with just one hand. In an almost expert manner, she finished undressing herself with one hand, her other never letting go of the toy. “You can sit down, you know,” she laughed when she saw Dean still standing where he was, stiff as a stick.
“Yeah, yeah, sorry,” he sat on the edge of the bed and turned his body towards her. It was like he was back at 15 with the most popular girl in school, ready for his first time. Nervousness filled his entire being, along with excitement, and if he wasn't so experienced years later, his erection would have disappeared or he would have come prematurely in his pants.
Dean silently thanked all the girls he had in the past that strengthened his stamina.
“How do you want me to use it?”
Dean could see how nervous she was. It was the first time she was completely naked in front of him, and her body was shaking ever so slightly, shivers that covered her soft skin in goosebumps. But yet, through that nervousness, she was freaking sexy. Still kneeling, she was slowly stroking her intimacy with the toy, coating it with her wetness. And without asking, Dean knew she wouldn’t need any lube.
“Just… Like this, you can ride it…” The words got out of his mouth by automatism. Truth was, Dean was half there now, so excited and focused on her, a part of his mind was shut down. It was so hot, he couldn’t detach his eyes from her body, the way the toy rubbed through her lower lips, how her hips rocked back on it, and her face, so soft, so cute, so embarrassed… With eyes burning in a strong passion.
“Okay,” she whispered. Time seemed to slow down. Dean could feel his heart beating in his head and in his crotch, the intensity growing with each movement she made. Straightening up, she placed the dildo behind her, careful to align it with her entrance, and opened up her legs to let Dean continue watching.
And he could see it all.
It was better than everything he could ever imagine.
The toy was big, but she was probably very wet and very used to it, because it didn’t take long for her to lower down on it. Inch by inch, the dildo disappeared into her entrance until it was almost completely gone. Her body was bent back, her chest glistening with sweat and the cutest moan left her lips.
“Fuck,” Dean groaned. It was too much, so he rushed to open his pants, just enough to free his aching cock. The simple touch sent thousands of electrical shocks of pleasure through his body, but still, his eyes were fixed on her. “You’re so hot, I don’t think I’ll last long,” he held the base of his cock stronger to avoid his climax.
“I don’t think I’ll last long either,” she whimpered. She had started moving already, slowly, up and down on the toy. Since she was on the bed, the succion was useless and she had to hold it with one hand. Dean could see how wet she was on the dildo, and imagined how warm it had to be inside.
Another groan whistled through his teeth.
“Hmmm,” she moaned, picking up speed. “It feels so good… Dean… Look at me…”
He didn’t notice, but his gaze was so focused on the toy and her pussy, he didn’t even look at her face. Blinking hard, he looked up, and when he saw her face, twisted in pleasure, he couldn’t help it.
His hand started moving on his cock at the same rhythm as her.
“Can’t wait to be inside of you,” Dean muttered through his rashing breath. “Must feel so warm in there, and you’re so wet, fuck, sweetheart, you’re killing me.”
As an answer, she moaned and closed her eyes for a second. But quickly, she set her gaze on him again, even if it had to be the most embarrassing thing she ever did. She wanted to watch him watch her, watch him stroke his cock, watch him cum with her. “Soon… I promise, soon, you’ll have me, you’ll fuck me as much as you want, whenever you want… I'm ah... All yours, Dean..."
"Y/n." Dean could only say that. Again and again, moaning her name as she continued moving on the toy. "Y/n..."
"Dean, I’m gonna cum, oh my god, I’m…”
It was stronger than her. Never before did she come with only a dildo in her, it always took her hands or a vibrator on her clit to reach the end. But right now, in front of her boyfriend masturbating with her, it was too much. It felt so good.
In an explosion of pleasure, her orgasm ripped through her in a scream. She closed her eyes, her body shaking, her wetness flooding under her and on her bed. But she so didn’t care about this right now.
It took a few moments for her to regain her hearing back, and a few more moments to open her eyes. It was strong, and she suddenly felt so tired, like the world came crashing back on her. Feeling like she could sleep for a whole day without waking up.
Y/n landed her eyes on the man in front of her. Dean had his head bent back, eyes closed, mouth parted. Lower, his cock was still a bit hard, and his release was covering his hand.
“Oh,” she said sadly, realizing she didn’t see him cum. At least, they came together.
“Oh,” Dean repeated, finally opening his eyes to land them on her. “That was the sexiest thing I’ve ever seen and done,” he admitted, a silly smile filling up his face. So he was too, drunk on pleasure.
“Yeah,” she admitted, feeling her face flush with embarrassment. Wow. They did it. They actually did it. Her joy, thought, left her face quickly as she realized something. “Fuck.”
“What is it?” Dean immediately went on protective boyfriend mode when he heard the change in her voice.
“I think I…” Y/n’s voice was small, so small and shy as she lifted herself from the spot she was in, removing carefully the dildo from her, and looked at the mess she made. “It never happened before, but now my bed… I don’t think I can use it anymore… Oh no…”
“Sweetheart,” Dean rushed to her side, quickly putting himself back in his pants even if he was messy with his release as well. “It’s alright. There’s plenty of other room in the bunker, with other beds.”
“But,” she stammered, her gaze looking down at her hands. “What if I want to… Use your bed, with you?”
Y/n ended up looking up at him, their gaze meeting.
A soft kiss on her lips answered her question, and all of her insecurities washed away.
“My bed is yours, sweetheart. We can always use this room for your books, I’ll ask Sam to help building shelves and-”
Another kiss, this time, more powerful, interrupted his sentence. “God, I love you so much.”
Babum.
The words he never said back before.
Dean thought they would be hard to say. Impossible, even. But he surprised himself with how easy it actually was.
“I love you too, sweetheart.”

Lover Boy
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
dean winchester x fem!reader
2.5k | fluff
summary: the double life of dean winchester seemed to come out when he would be dangerous and sinister around demons, yet soft and gentle when it came to how he loved you.
Tumblr media
dean winchester was a tough man. raised as a soldier from a young age, he grew into one of the strongest men you’ve ever encountered.
even with all of that to factor in, dean was still a complete softie at his core.
his childish love for certain things was definitely a major reason. though how he treated you definitely gave it away. dean was always looking for you in a room, never wanting to be more than two feet away from you. not getting a lot of affection as a child, dean’s love language was most definitely physical touch. the man had to have his hands on you at all times. wether that be around your waist, shoulder, thigh, or even around your middle.
don’t even get started on all the cute little pet names he called you. cheesy stuff like that never made sense to you. the notion of it all had you assuming that you’d laugh in a man’s face if he even tried to utter the word ‘babe’ to your face.
with dean, it was different. the first time he called you sweetheart, you didn’t feel the urge to giggle. actually, you felt a blush dust your cheeks and a shy smile overtake your lips. since then, the older winchester has been dabbling with all different sorts of names. you drew the line when he tried to add ‘sugar mama’ into the mix, but that was just dean.
baby, honey, angel, sunshine, you name it. dean was collecting them all like trading cards, and you seriously weren’t complaining.
on top of it all, dean was very over protective when it came to you. to dean, you were the best thing that ever happened to him. if anything ever happened to you, dean was positive he would never be able to forgive himself. so will all of his will, dean spent hunts focusing on two things — killing the monster and making sure you came out of it unscathed and wound free.
today was no different. sam had caught wind of a vamps nest down in georgia, and the two brothers weren’t against blowing off some steam and decapitating a couple of bloodsuckers.
everything was going as usual. you three scoped out the town, figuring out what the best place would be for the vampires nest. when the location was secured, you and the brothers waited until dusk. the sun was drifting down over the horizon, laying illuminating shadows over the ground as you creeped up towards the vacant barn behind dean.
both sam and dean decided that going in guns blazing would be the best option. catch some vampires by surprise and kill a couple before the real fight happened. you knew how to use a machete, and you’d beheaded a couple of vamps in the past, but dean wasn’t always so keen on you joining. his words exactly were ‘if anything happened to you i wouldn’t know what to do with myself. all i want is for you to be safe, baby.’
you understood where he was coming from, but you also knew you were fully capable killing a couple vamps without any harm. with a long hour of begging and pouting, dean finally let you tag along. his only proposition being you stayed close to him, which wasn’t a problem since you tended to do that anyway.
the three of you made it to the doors of the barn. sam didn’t wait before he swung the door open, striding towards the nearest vampire and smoothly chopping it’s head off. the fight was now in full swing. a total of six vampires had resided in this abandoned barn, leaving five more for you, sam, and dean to deal with.
you felt a tug on the back of your shirt as one of the female vampires tried to push you back. you weren’t stupid, nor incompetent when it came to fighting, so you instantly handled her blow and whirled around with a swift punch to her nose.
dean had taught you everything you needed to know about hand to hand combat. being there to help with your position and allow you to practice your at the time, feeble punches on him. there had been countless occasions where dean got sidetracked as his arms wound up around you from behind. his intentions being to help with your form, but he ended up ravishing on your soft skin instead.
your fight with the female vamp didn’t last long. after a couple of punches and attempts to throw one another onto some hay bales, you found the perfect timing to swing your machete and precisely have her head rolling. the satisfaction of the kill didn’t last long, for a gruff and aggressive hand pushed you hard in the centre of your back, sending you flying into one of the adjacent walls.
a big, burly male vampire had you cornered. he succeeded in knocking the blade out of your hand, sending it scattering across the floor and completely out of your reach. his solid face made it almost impossible for you to land a decent punch, for each time he took them with ease, a bored look on his face like he was unsatisfied with your feeble attempts to fight him off.
in a last minute effort, you mustered all your strength and pushed him as hard as you could. it didn’t work, for he just grabbed the back of your head and smashed your forehead against a wooden support beam. drowsiness was taking over, and you could feel his thick fingers wrap around your neck as consciousness started to slip away from your body.
accepting your demise, you just let him have it, knowing there was no way in hell you could fight him now. though to your luck, like an angel coming down from heaven to save you, dean winchester came into view behind the man’s shoulders. his face was set in a murderous glare, arm reaching for the back of the vamps neck as he forcefully pulled him off of you.
weak from the beating, your limp body fell to the ground. as you supported yourself against the wooden beam, you watched as dean completely ditched his machete and resorted to pummeling the vampire to a bloody pulp. dean didn’t want his death to be quick, he wanted to inflict as much pain on this vile creature as he had on you. with an unfiltered rage, dean completely wailed on the vamps face, leaving no room for him to fight back.
“how does it feel, huh? getting exactly what you gave. think you can hurt my girl like that? you’re lucky i don’t string you up and bleed you dry.” his words slightly frightened you, but you knew dean would never lean towards such gruesome acts of violence. in his rage, dean sometimes completely lost control of what he would say. allowing people to become slightly afraid of what he was capable of.
the feeling of sam’s comforting hands directed your attention away from dean’s brutal assault. the sweet man was making sure you weren’t badly injured. checking if you had a concussion or if the wound on your forehead would need stitches or not. as sam started gingerly touching the already blossoming bruise on your neck, you watched as dean grabbed his blade and crushed it down into the vampires neck. completely detaching it from his body and killing him for good.
like a switch had flipped in his brain, you watched as dean quickly put his machete into his sheath and dart over to you. sam’s voice letting you two know that he was going to grab the impala was completely drowned out as dean’s rugged yet gentle hands grasped your face. he moved it side to side, inspecting to see how badly that vamp had hurt you.
“oh sweetheart,” he mumbled, wincing as he noticed the gash on your forehead. “you’re okay. i’m here baby, i’m right here.” his voice soothed you, yet the aches and pains radiating through your head and still tender neck had you whimpering, sticky tears starting to collect on your cheeks.
leaning into dean’s hand, you let your first sob break free from your lips. “dean.” you mumbled, trying to get your words out through the lump in your throat and choked sobs. “it hurts. it hurts so bad.” the look on dean’s face could’ve broken down the strongest of men. he looked so distraught. almost as though the pain you were experiencing was finding a way to attach itself to his own body.
in a way, it was kind of just like that. dean seeing you in pain brought him pain. he would rather experience any form of hellish torture than watch you suffer.
caressing your cheek one last time, dean moved his arms around the back of your knees and shoulder. he picked you up bridal style, slowly walking his way towards sam and the impala. “i know baby, you are going to be just fine.” he whispered, relishing in the way your head snuggled into his chest. “i’m going to make you feel all better. i swear.”
the ride back to the motel was filled with sam’s frantic worrying and dean’s hushed voice assuring you on your recovery. he opted to sit in the backseat with you, resting your head on his lap while softly stroking your hair, smoothing it down away from the cut on your forehead.
as sam rolled in front of the motel, you heard as he told dean he would run to the nearest store and get some food, knowing you’d be hungry after everything that just happened. from the impala to the motel room bed, everything was a blur. the only thing you slightly remember is dean carrying you, whispering sweet nothings into your ear, reassuring you that everything would be fine.
placing you gently onto the bed, you watched as dean got up to go grab the first aid kit. his frame was becoming a little blurry as you felt yourself slipping into sleeps comforting clutches. dean’s hands softly shaking you and propping you to sit upright on the bed had your eyes reopening. his eyes held a gentle glint, yet somewhere in the mix, a cloud of panic and worry moved over it.
“cmon honey, stay awake for me.” his voice caressed your ears with a soft, gentle kiss that made you smile. yet at the same time, you could hear the underlying tones of panic and worry. dean was scared for you, and dean being genuinely scared was not something a lot of people saw.
you just smiled at him, moving your one hand so it was delicately placed on his knee. “i’m fine, dean. i’m right here, alive and breathing. nothing to worry about.” you could tell that your words eased him a little, but as his fingers lightly grazed your bruised neck, the worry rolled back onto him like a tidal wave. “fuck your neck. i let this happen to you, i am so so sorry-“
the feeling of your pointer finger coming over his lips stopped dean mid sentence, his stunned face in your direct eyesight as you gave him the most intense serious face you could muster. “i don’t want to be hearing any of that. you did your best, dean. you were busy fighting the others, and i had him until he turned my head into a whack-a-mole mallet.” your words had a slight laugh bubbling in dean’s lips, making your smile brighten. “none of this is your fault. blame the vamp. who thanks to you, is now as dead as ever.”
furrowing his brows and crinkling his eyes, dean mumbled to himself something he thought you didn’t hear. but you did. you always did when it came to dean. “he’s lucky that’s all i did.” dean’s blatant protective behaviour towards you made you feel comforted. yes you could take care of yourself, but it was nice to have that extra watchful eye every once and a while.
a quiet hum settled over the room as dean tended to the cut on your forehead. his hand lightly held your face, making sure you stood still. he also wanted an excuse to touch you, for your face was probably the most beautiful thing dean winchester had ever laid his eyes on.
“there we go baby, all done”. dean said as he put away the first aid kit. when the eldest winchester turned back to face you, your eyes watched as he gingerly grabbed your face. he didn’t want to hurt you, and your heart couldn’t feel more full because of it. with both hands clasping your face, he placed his lips on your temple, leaving a delicate kiss over the bandaged scrape.
he then moved to your eyelids, kissing each one as he envisioned your beautiful coloured eyes looking back at him. long lashes decorating them as you stared up into his own eyes. next he kissed both of your cheeks, the bridge of your nose, and finally, dean left a soft, feather like kiss upon your lips.
dean kissed you as if you were made of glass. he was so worried of hurting you, making sure that whatever he did didn’t push on your wounds at all.
“i love you so much.” he whispered, keeping his face close to yours. so much so that your lips were still basically touching. “when i saw him hurting you, i felt something in me shatter. i don’t know what i’d do without you, sweetheart.” his words struck right into your heart, giving you such a feel of warmth that it spread throughout your whole body.
bringing your lips softly to dean’s cheek, you too left a feather light kiss on his cheek bone. voice vibrating off the surface as you couldn’t find yourself to move away. “i love you too dean. so much more than you could ever imagine.”
both you and dean’s declarations of love brought forth something into your relationship. a sense of love, hope, and security. you knew that dean would always be there to protect you, and dean knew that you would always be there to bring him down. rationalize his brain with comforting words when he needed them most.
the love you two shared was pure. something driven from fresh snow directly fallen from the sky. as the two of you laid down on the bed, you wondered how it was that you got so lucky with a man like dean. a man who loved so deeply and so ardently that it spilled out of his pores.
dean winchester was the man you were sure you would spend the rest of your life with. and as he molded your body with his, hand on the back of your head and making sure you two were as close as possible, you realized that there was nothing to worry about.
for dean would always be there for you, and always love you like it was his way of breathing.

The Demon With A Heart
Tumblr media
[Crowley x Female!Reader]
Synopsis: When Crowley saves your life, you can't help but think it was a little more than self-interest.
WC: 1858
Category: 99.9% Sexual Tension (lmfao), 0.01% Fluff + Angst? {TW: Mentions of Demons (obvi), Murder}
Crowley is too iconic not to have fics. I said what I said.
『••✎••』
You didn’t know how to react. It was as if your tongue was taken away, and you couldn’t talk, no matter how much you wanted to thank the man.
No, the demon.
You stood there with wide eyes, staring at the King of Hell, Crowley. He looked the same as before: a clean suit, a snarky comment, and a look of disgust on his face. But, instead of being on the opposite side, he was wiping the blood off of the angel blade he used to kill the angel that jumped you.
He just saved you—The King of Hell.
The very man who told Sam and Dean countless times that he doesn't do anything for free and doesn’t help people without getting something out of it. Yet, here he was, standing in front of you, not asking for a single thing.
The thought was a bit unsettling.
"Purely out of self-interest, darling," He says, breaking the silence and putting the stolen blade into his jacket. "Call it a favor that I plan to collect in the future."
He was about to leave, but you couldn’t let him go. Not without a thank you, at least. You didn't want him to think you didn’t appreciate what he did.
"Crowley."
The man turns back around, his hands in his pockets, his expression unreadable.
"Thank you."
The corner of his mouth turned upward, forming a small smirk. He didn’t say anything but rather kept his eyes on you for a second longer. He then disappeared, leaving you in the dark.
And it did leave you in the dark. For days, weeks, months. He never came for that favor, and he never brought up what happened. In fact, he barely talked to you at all. It was always towards the Winchesters.
You began to believe it was nothing but a dream. That Crowley somehow didn't save you. The angel was a fake, and this was all some sick joke. It felt like gaslighting.
But you knew what happened was real. You remembered the blood splatter and the dead corpse. The way his face contorted when he pierced the angel's heart.
It was all too real.
So, why was he ignoring you? Why did he pretend that it never happened? Was he going to hold it over your head? Or was it just the fact that the King of Hell did something nice for a human?
Was it because he… cared?
One night, you got your answer. It was a quiet night filled with books, tea, and soft music. At least, it was before those idiotic brothers decided to tear down the bunker in search of some book.
You couldn’t remember the exact reason they needed it, but you were too tired to argue. So, you stayed in your room and tried to fall asleep.
That is until the lights went out and the emergency lights kicked on. Okay, now you were annoyed. You got up, slipped on your shoes and a coat, and walked out of your room.
"Alright, what did you two-"
You paused mid-sentence, eyes falling onto the figure in the library. The man was facing the opposite way, but you knew exactly who it was. The familiar black suit and hair gave it away.
"Crowley…"
"Hello, Darling,” he replied, turning around and smiling at you. It was almost unnerving. He didn’t have a malicious aura or even an evil one. Just... a smile.
You looked behind him and noticed… well, nothing. You were expecting the Winchesters to be with him, and yet, it was just him.
"Where are the boys?"
"Moose and Squirrel? Ah, they're off somewhere, doing... well, you know. Something heroic, I suppose. Figured I’d stick around… enjoy the scenery."
That’s when you looked up and understood what he meant. He was stuck, quite literally. Those devil traps they put everywhere finally did something good.
You half-expected him to bring up that 'favor' he was talking about or maybe even just demand to get out of there, but he did neither. Instead, he looked at the ground and sighed.
At the moment, the King of Hell looked just like a caged puppy, sad and alone. If he wasn’t such a… demon, you might have even felt bad for him.
But, you left him in there, strolling along to the kitchen to find some kind of light. You were not giving up your two hours of reading due to power loss.
As you shuffled through the cabinets, looking for any form of match or lighter, the lights flickered back on.
So that’s where the Winchesters were.
You shrugged and turned back to your room but stopped at the entrance to the library. Crowley was still there, but this time, his face was twisted. He was clearly pissed.
"Why did you do it?" The burning question you wanted answered for months finally came out. Crowley stopped his little fit and turned towards you, a confused expression on his face.
He looked like he had no idea what you were talking about.
"I do a lot of things, Chipmunk. You'll have to be more specific."
You walked towards him, resting down the candles and book on a nearby table. You didn’t know why, but the need to confront him was growing.
"Save me all those months ago."
"I don't know what you're talking about."
You were getting closer, now only a few feet from him. Crowley, however, didn’t back away. Instead, he watched as you moved, his expression unchanging.
"That angel could’ve killed me, yet you came out of nowhere and stabbed him. I know you don't do anything out of kindness, so why did you do it? What do I offer that no one else does?"
Crowley stayed silent for a while, not giving any indication of answering your questions.
You thought it was just a lost cause until his expression changed. It was subtle, but you caught it. The corner of his mouth turned down, and his eyes widened, then narrowed.
He almost looked ashamed.
"It's just like I said. Self-interest." He spat out, his voice sounding like venom. You almost took a step back. It still sounded like the same old Crowley, but his tone was different.
You decided to call his bluff.
"I don't believe you."
Crowley raised an eyebrow, a smirk coming across his face. He was amused by the sudden attitude, but it didn’t last long.
"And what makes you say that?"
"I saw the way you looked at me after you saved me. Hesitancy, almost. Like you were unsure. As if..."
The King of Hell stared at you, waiting for the last part of your statement. He was eager but not for the answer. No, he knew what you were going to say.
He was just waiting to hear it come out of your mouth.
"You care."
Those words hung in the air, both of you processing it. Crowley continued to stare at you, the smirk disappearing, leaving his face neutral. He had a blank expression.
A silence grew, the atmosphere turning awkward. It wasn't until the demon let out a loud sigh and looked to the side that it was broken.
"You’re really pulling on the heartstrings, Chipmunk,” he muttered, a hint of sarcasm in his voice. "If I had one, I'd say it was aching."
"Do you?"
You knew what you were implying. Crowley was the King of Hell, the ruler of the damned. He was the furthest thing from human, yet he could walk among them and, sometimes, be mistaken for one.
Was it possible for him to be human or even have emotions?
Crowley looked at you and frowned, clearly not liking the topic. But he didn't deny it. It was a strange sight—the King of Hell, frowning and silent.
It was almost adorable.
"I'm not asking for anything. I just… want an honest answer."
"Well, I am a demon, love,” He stated, his tone changing to a more playful one. “Honesty isn’t quite in the job description."
"Crowley."
You were starting to get impatient, and it showed. Your voice was firm, and your posture was tense. You wanted an answer, and you were determined to get it.
The demon in question let out another sigh and looked at the ceiling as if praying for a quick escape.
"You're a pain, you know that? It's exhausting." He grumbled, rolling his eyes. "But, I suppose, since you asked nicely..."
The man looked at you, his lips pursed. He was still hesitating, which only made you more curious.
"Yes, I care. About you. Happy?"
You blinked a few times, processing the information. Did the King of Hell, the person known for not giving a shit, just admit he cares?
"I-" You started, not knowing what to say. It was a surprise but not an unwelcome one. Crowley wasn't exactly a bad guy, well, a demon.
"Do you actually mean that?"
"Now that…" Crowley started, his voice low and deep. He leaned towards you, making you back up, but the wall soon prevented you from going any further.
He was inches away, his breath hitting your face. You could see his eyes staring into yours—a pretty brown, like a mocha latte.
"…Is the kind of question that will get you in trouble, love."
You weren’t sure what he was planning, but you didn't care. The way his eyes were looking at you, the smirk on his face, the closeness...
He was probably expecting you to back away, but he was wrong. You were an avid reader, obsessive even. This scene wasn't new, nor was it shocking.
The only shocking part was the fact that you were the one in it. And, well, the fact that you didn’t mind it.
"Unlike you,” you whispered, a small smirk on your face. "I don’t care."
Your response made him pause for a moment, squinting his eyes and giving you a confused look. It only lasted a few seconds, though. Soon, he understood, and a chuckle escaped his lips.
"Touché"
You truly believed you were about to lose your chance with the man upstairs, but loud footsteps interrupted you.
"Crowley, you slimy son of a bitch! If you’re not here, we are going to-"
Dean stopped talking as he rounded the corner, seeing you and Crowley close. His expression was shocked, almost comical.
"The hell is going on here?"
You and Crowley both turned to look at Dean, a look of annoyance on the King of Hell's face. Sam came around the corner as well, sharing the same look of confusion.
Crowley gave you one last glance, a bit of disappointment in his eyes, before taking a step back. His attention moved on to the two hunters, his usual smile returning.
And despite the annoyance in the air and the confusion, the only thing that came across your mind was another question that you were sure would take control of your sleep schedule once again.
"Hello, boys," He purred, his arms moving to his side. He was back to his old self, not showing a single sign of what happened moments ago.
Had the beauty thawed the beast?

the two men standing before sam exchanged looks, nodding at one another. sam’s heart was pounding so hard he swore it was about to burst out of his chest. sam clinched his eyes shut so he no longer had to stare down the barrel of a shotgun. the sound of the trigger clicking echoed through his ears, then all he remembered was the bright flash that followed. he felt his body growing cold as the world fell quiet.
“sam, c’mon we gotta leave!”
his eyes fluttered open, in a confused daze he began checking out the very familiar surroundings. his dorm. and was that her voice?
“sam? you dressed yet, babe?” after hearing your voice for the second time sam came to the conclusion that this was the light at the end of the tunnel before eternal hell.
your sweet voice came from behind the door of his room. a smile instinctively grew onto his face. the small sound of the door knob twisting followed by the larger sound of the door opening grabbed his attention, he turned to face the now open door. his eyes instantly met your face. the familiar glow of your face and the welcoming smile that had stuck with him over the years made him feel like he had just fallen in love all over again. god how he’s missed you. he had only seen your face as an image in his head for the past six years. and to see you now, so vividly, it felt so real– it made his cheeks hurt from smiling so hard.
“what’s got you so smiley?” you giggled at his goofy smile as you walked further into his room. he remembered now, this had happened before. a full year before you died, the night of some halloween party, which explained the angel costume, coincidentally enough. he remembered how you had wanted to go with the witch costume, which sam had talked you out of— he hated witches.
“just happy to see you.” he found himself stuttering over his words trying to gather the right things to say. sam couldn’t wipe the smile off of his face even if he tried his hardest. he walked over to you and gently placed his hands on your waist that was covered with a sheer white fabric. leaning down, not once letting his eyes fall away from you, slowly connecting his lips to yours with anticipation. it was just as he remembered, your lips still soft and sweet. the distinctive taste of the chapstick you always wore he had been dreaming of for years.
your arms flat against his chest to playfully push him off.
“alright, loverboy. where's your costume?” you stood with your arms crossed waiting for an answer. he could only smile, this all felt so surreal. to feel your lips plush against his for the first time in forever, to taste the reminisce of your sweetness lingering on his own lips. he was so happy to see your face again, this time your eyes filled with light instead of terror. for years the scared expression you had before you died had haunted him.
“you know halloween isn’t my thing.” he finally spoke.
“yeah yeah, whatever,” you rolled her eyes in a toying manner. “you ready to go then?” you gestured to his current outfit. he had on what he had every time this memory would repeat in his dreams, the button up shirt that had the sleeves pushed up a little past his forearms and his jeans that hung the slightest bit low.
sam looked at you for a moment, his eyes falling over each and every one of your features before his gaze finally met your eyes again,
“mm’ not yet.” he hummed to himself with a low mumble.
he pulled you in by the waist once again, this time with more grip in his touch. one hand falling on the small of your back guiding you closer to his body. your hands glide up his toned chest and land on the back of his neck, you pull him down to you connecting your lips with his. the hand that laid on your back moved to the warmth of your cheek only pulling you further into the passionate kiss that was growing sloppy. your hands now in his soft brunette hair, playing with it gently in your fingers— including an occasional tug. his tongue slowly grazes over your plump lips, slightly parting your lips allowing him to slip his tongue into your mouth ravenously. his hand slid onto your back as you arched closer into his needy touch, he kissed slowly along the soft skin of your neck. you tilted your head giving him additional access to more of your tender skin. taking your swollen bottom lip in between your teeth clenching your eyes shut at small tickling feeling of sam kissing up your neck.
he couldn’t help but tease the skin of your neck, abusing the sensitive bits of your skin that would make your breath hitch and your heart speed up a beat. sam was like a starved man in front of a perfectly plated meal, and he just couldn’t get enough. his hands wandered over your clothed body feeling more of your warm skin. reluctantly removing his lips from your skin, he gently tossed you onto the bed with a sense of urgency. immediately climbing on top of you, your hips slotted together perfectly. he left small kisses on your body occasionally sucking harshly on your skin. leaving a trail of small pecks as he made his way back up to your lips. his arm on the side of your head caging you in propped him up over your body, while his free hand rested beneath your back. his knee between your legs supported the rest of his larger body that covered yours entirely. the hand beneath your back now grazing over the fabric of your costume. he began slowly slipping the material over your shoulder as he kissed further down your neck and along your collarbone taking note of the spots that made you let out those cute little noises. his free hand pushing more of the costume material down your body, leaving your upper half in just that white lacy bra that he could never forget. he slowly slipped the straps from your shoulders, still kissing along your skin.
“this okay, pretty girl?”
he looked up at you with those beautiful hazel eyes. begging for your permission to go any further. he already knew what your answer was, he had relieved this moment time and time again in his head and his dreams, but he just needed to hear you say it— to listen to your sweet voice telling him to continue.
nodding frantically, you answered. “mhm, please keep going, sam.”
and that’s all he needed.
the underlying hints of sultry and desire in your voice made his mind foggy. his thoughts being taken over by the pure feeling of lust. your lips link together once again, like two magnets being pulled together. warmth coursed through his core as he deepened the kiss, his body ached for more. his fingers fumbled with the clasps of the white lacy bra that had been committed to his memory by now, he was quick to discard of it by tossing it to the floor. you simultaneously run your hands beneath his shirt against his toned torso urging him to lose the layer— which he happily did. quickly unbuttoning the buttons that lined his shirt then throwing it to wherever your bra had ended up. he pulled away to take in the image of you laying beneath him; your bare chest rising and falling at a quick pace, lips parted sucking in the cold air of the room. his legs now straddled over your frame, soaking in the moment with a growing smirk on his face. his coarse hands ran up and down your body appreciating every curve, the same hands that could be so violent, but were always gentle when it came to you.
lowering his head he began leaving small kisses against your chest all while taking your exposed breast into his big hand and massaging your tender skin. he hummed against your smooth skin as you played gently with his hair, urging you to continue combing your fingers through his hair. he ran his hands down your figure, pushing the material of your costume fully off your body and discarding it to the growing pile on the floor. you now laid beneath him, almost completely bare. the only thing that was covering you was the matching lacy panties that were decorated with a small bow on the hem.
you watched his own eyes trace the outline of your body, his eyes full of lust and desire. you return his gaze with a sense of anticipation in your eyes. his hands glide up your soft legs slowly parting them to make room for himself in the middle of them. he gently rests his hand on your knee as his other hand slides over your slit that was still clothed.
he notices the way your body shudders as he teased your sensitive core, and with no rush he slowly pushed your damp panties to the side. he then ran his two of his fingers between the slick of your folds. he watched you take your bottom lip in your mouth in an attempt to suppress the small whimpers that were on the tip of your tongue. slowly slipping his index finger into you with ease, he studied your reaction before he slipped his middle finger in along with the first one. your eyes fluttered open and closed as you felt this sudden feeling of pleasure. he leaned down connecting his lips to yours as his fingers continued to work inside of you.
he’d slowly pull his fingers out, then he’d quickly push them deeper in. repeating this process over and over, pumping deeper into you with more pace each time. his lips suppressing the moans that were dying to spill from your lips. your hands run up his bare back feeling his muscles flex as he pleasured you. his free hand connected with the small of your back as you arched further off the bed trying to get closer to the pleasure sam was giving you. he watched your eyes squint shut while you threw your head back letting out a few small whimpers that sent heat coursing through sam’s body. your hands fall down to the waist band of sam’s jeans that have failed to come off. your hands fumbling with the belt on his pants, your progress reset each time he’d push his fingers deeper into you. finally unbuckling his belt, you yanked the belt from the loops of his jeans and tossed it to the floor.
“sam, please..” you whimper his name, your voice hoarse. you begged him to take it further, you needed to feel him against you. and he’d do anything you asked for.
“please what, sweet girl?” he whispered close to your ear as he began teasing at your sensitive clit. he knew what you wanted, he just desperately wanted to hear you say it. to hear you beg to feel him deeper inside of you.
your hands gripped onto his flexed biceps in an attempt to pull yourself back down from this high. “need to feel you inside me.” your words came out broken and breathy from the pleasure he was not letting up on. your thoughts were scattered, barely able to finish one thought before you’d get distracted from the satisfaction you were feeling.
“yeah? i can do that for you, baby.”
he peppered kisses down your neck while he spoke to you, a tone of sultry in his voice. he once again leaned over your body and kissed your swollen lips, this kiss being more aggressive and hungry. the proximity made you feel how hard he was against your bare pussy. you squirmed beneath him as he slowly grinded against you. he finally sat up and began to unbutton his jeans, you eagerly watching as he pushed the waistband of his jeans and boxers down at the same time, then discarding them to the floor just like every other layer of clothing that had been shed. you bit down on your bottom lip, your gaze focused on his finally completely bare body. your eyes traced over his v-line, noticing each and every vein. he took his hard dick into his hand and guided over your wet slit, coating this tip of his cock in your slick. he slowly pushed himself into you, watching your face twist as he pushed further in.
“shit, you feel so good.. so tight.” he slurred against the crook of your neck.
you were boxed in beneath him, his forearm on the other side of your head keeping himself propped up above you while he left sloppy kisses down your jawline. when he finally bottomed out in you, he found your eyes with his own looking for approval to start moving. you nodded, looking at him through your lashes. he took a moment to take in the look on your face, committing the way you looked at him to memory. the way your eyes had been lit up pretty much the whole night, and how your lips looked so soft and plush.
“my beautiful girl.” he whispered to you, his voice low and almost hurt.
he had finally started to move inside you, pulling out just enough to push further in. repeating this movement over and over picking up pace with each thrust. your hands gripping on to his back, digging your nails into his toned back as you felt him push further into you. he went back to leaving sloppy wet kisses over your body as he continued to push deeper into you. your legs now wrapped around his waist trying to get even closer against him. the sound of skin slapping synchronized with the moans and breaths you’d let out.
as you felt yourself getting closer you felt a knot growing in your stomach, your eyes closing shut as a small tear fell down your cheek. sam’s thrusts grow increasingly more sloppy as your walls squeezed tight around his cock.
“s’close..” you moaned against his neck, your words were slurred and broken. he began to whisper strings of praise against the cuff of your ear. going on about how good you were taking him, trying to get you closer and closer to the edge. his thrusts not showing any signs of mercy as he continued to plunge deep into you.
“c’mon, cum f‘me pretty girl.”
you finally felt the pure bless of your release, letting out a loud breathy moans as a few tears stream down your face. at your release sam pulls himself out, and with his hand he strokes his cock over your body. within seconds he came, spurting out a stream of hot liquid onto your body, groaning as he squeezed the last few drops out.
his tired body falls next to yours after he had fetched a towel and cleaned you up. his back flat against the bed. the two of you laying next to each other sweaty and out of breath, now both of you under the covers of his bed. you cuddled up next to sam, tracing small circles over his chest as he looked up at the ceiling with his arm under his head.
seconds later the moment of peace was interrupted by the door flinging open, dean falling through. sam shooting up from his side of the bed. meeting eyes with dean, who immediately went to cover his eyes.
“jeez, you dirty dog.”

Always His Eyes
Tumblr media
Pairing: Dean Winchester x Female Reader
Summary: You always saw his eyes as something glorious. But something is missing now that he is gone.
Word Count: 1,368
Tags/Warnings: angst, violence, blood, death.
Tumblr media
Your ears were ringing. That was the first thing you felt.
What had happened? Am I dead? Is this heaven?
Lilith had tried to kill you along with Sam, you even saw a glowing light and you closed your eyes because it hurt the sight.
But you didn't feel... Dead.
You opened your eyes and the first thing you saw was Dean's feet a few feet away. You were lying on your side, your head hurt, but little by little you were more aware. You shook your head and felt a hand on your shoulder, shaking you slightly.
“Hey, are you okay?” You heard Sam's voice next to you.
But your vision was focused on Dean, his body still. You propped yourself up on one elbow and simply watched him. What happened playing over and over in your mind, like a recording you don't want to let go.
"Dean?" You barely heard your own voice, so low and strange that you thought you had thought of that name.
Sam heard it anyway, and made his attention move to his brother's body. He slowly got up and walked towards him. Meanwhile, you continued to stare at his body, as if you were hoping (no, wishing... Yes, definitely wishing) that he would move.
But that was impossible after the attack he had suffered by the hellhounds.
You stood up slowly, being able to see more of his body, but decided to keep your distance. You really didn't want to admit it, admit that he... That he...
He...
“Sam?” You whispered his name when you saw him kneel next to him. “Sam, tell me he’s okay.” You heard him cry softly, saying Dean's name.
Only at that moment did you decide to approach the opposite side where Sam was, falling to your knees while you saw how his brother lay limp in his arms. Dean's chest was torn, his own blood splattered across his face. A truly horrible scene to watch, a scene that made you squint your eyes and focus solely on his.
"Dean…” You shook your head, feeling a tear run down your cheek as you slowly extended a hand towards him. “No…” You even stopped breathing normally.
You entered the office without bothering to knock on the door. Likewise, you could barely carry the coffees in both hands. What did it matter if you didn't announce yourself before? But as soon as you looked up, you noticed that your boss wasn´t alone, but in the company of two young men about your age.
“Oh, excuse me, I'll be back another time.”
But your boss's voice made you stop your movements.
“She´s my assistant.” He said, standing up and calling your name. “Dear, they're from the FBI, they're coming for the disappearances.”
Both guys stood up from their seats and the first thing you noticed was the height of both of them, one taller than the other, but that din´t detract from the other. You looked between the two of them with a slight smile. They were both attractive, you had to admit, dressed in their suits and with almost angelic faces.
"Hi." The taller of the two said, looking at you with a friendly smile on his face.
You waved back and your gaze moved to the man next to him, his green eyes probably being the first thing that caught your attention. But the freckles near them made you tilt your head in attention.
"Hi." He stretched out his hand to shake yours, but you hesitated, diverting your attention to the cardboard in your hands that was keeping the coffee cups afloat. He seemed to notice that your hands were full. “Lemme help you with that.” He said before pulling the cardboard off of you, your fingers brushing together, and you'd be lying if you said you didn't feel electricity run through your body.
He passed the coffees to his partner (who almost dropped them due to the unexpected movement) without even taking his eyes off you. He extended his hand to you again and you smiled at the charm that seemed to emanate naturally from him.
"Hi." You shook his hand.
"Hi." He repeated softer this time.
You think you got lost in his eyes...
“Please don't…” You sobbed over his corpse, leaning over him slightly as you brushed his cheek with your hand, afraid to feel the skin of an uninhabited body.
“So, vampires, werewolves, Chupacabras... do all of that exist?” You walked next to him, your hands inside your jacket while the lights of the ambulance were meters away from both of you.
You had a wound on your cheek that professionals had already taken care of, although of course you had to lie to them about how you got it. Surely they would have sent you to a special hospital if you told them that you got it when a Wendigo kidnapped you along with a hunter of supernatural creatures who wears jeans to the forest.
“Pretty much yes.”
“Even Bigfoot?”
“Well, we haven't crossed paths with him yet, but I'm ready.” He responded with amusement, stopping walking to turn to look at you.
You laughed and your gaze met his, stopping walking too. Hell, his eyes could be brighter under the moonlight. Incredible, but possible.
“Okay, smart boy, for most of us college was enough,” you shrugged, your shoulder aching slightly at the movement and you wondered when your body would feel like new again, “well, for those who went and didn't have than being a secretary.”
“It's more something you are born with than something you can decide.”
You nodded your head slowly and watched him. It must have been a lonely lifestyle and you even wondered if at any point in his life he thought about doing something other than a hunter who put his life in danger on every hunt, but you didn't dare ask him, believing it to be invasive. Instead, you sighed and swayed on the spot, adopting a more timid attitude as you briefly lowered your gaze to your feet before returning it to his eyes.
“I don't know how I could thank you.” A flirtatious smile made its way onto his face and you looked at him in disbelief, but you couldn't hide your own smile. “And you had to ruin the moment.”
"Yeah!"
You shook your head in amusement and bit your bottom lip. You didn't know where your shyness had come from since Dean had actually been flirting with you at all times since you met him, sometimes being more subtle than others.
He tilted his head and brought a hand to your lips, pulling your lip out from between your teeth with his thumb. Your entire attention was on him. Suddenly, the lights of the ambulance no longer blinded one side of your face and, instead, made his shine.
And those eyes... Always his eyes...
He brushed away a strand of hair covering your eye and stroked his thumb over the bandage the paramedics had placed over your wound, so gently it felt like a feather brushing your face.
And at no time did you dare to look away from his eyes.
You ran your fingers through his hair as you whispered his name once more, your hands shaking and your chest hurting like it had never hurt before. Your tears fell on him and you just wished it was like in the movies, and that your pain would bring him back. This wasn't supposed to happen, you were supposed to find a solution and Dean would be saved. You had tried everything in one year. So much effort to prevent what you now knew was inevitable.
You looked into his eyes and had to blink because tears blurred your vision. Those eyes no longer shone. They no longer shone with the moonlight that was currently coming in through the window. They were empty, not even looking at anything in particular. They were simply two spheres without a soul to guide them. And they seemed like the most horrible thing you had ever seen in your life.
You understood that his eyes were only beautiful because they had his life inside them.

The Books
Alastor x female reader (others mentioned)
Summary: The reader (you) was a supernatural hunter(ess) back when you were alive on Earth, and so you decided to show everyone God aka Chucks books.
A/N- this was so fun. I love written a mini crossover . Let me know if you want more supernatural x hazbin hotel
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tumblr media
You hunted when you were alive and back on earth, and that was not deer hunting and / or ducking hunting. It was hunting that was life risking, anxiety pumping through you, and most of all, fear You hunted supernatural creatures. You name it, you hunted it.
You somehow ended up in this weird and odd hell, but became great friends especially with The Radio Demon, Alastor. He enjoyed hearing all your hunting stories. But today you wanted to show everyone something that was oddly terrifying for you atleast. Chucks Books.
You gathered everyone in the lobby, and you held up an old, weathered book. Its viver was faded, and only the title was unmistakable. "Supernatural." Confused filled Charlie as she asked. "What's that?" Her eyes wide with interest.
"This." You began. "Is one of God's books. Or as I knew him as Chuck." You looked around, the room silent until Angel Dust scoffed, but his curiosity got the best of him like everyone else. "God wrote a book? Like a freakin' bestseller or somethin'?" His hand gestures were flowly and animated, and he talked slow to get every detail in.
You smiled. "More than just a bestseller. Chuck wrote everything that happened in the universe. This book, and others like it, detailed the lives of two brothers and close friends of mine, Sam and Dean Winchester, who hunted supernatural creatures. Just like I did." You said, looking at the book and feeling a shiver down your spine. All those memories flown back, which soon disappeared when you looked around the room again.
Vaggie then crossed her arms, skeptical. Understandable, she seemed to have trust issues, and you were still new and throwing out this outlandish information that sadly was true. "And you expect us to believe that God was some kind of author?"
You let out a sigh, "Believe it or not," you replied flipping through the pages. "These books were like prophecies, everything written in them came true."
Alastors' eyes widened. "Fascinating! And you say this Chuck wrote your life as well?"
Your gaze met the Radio Demons, you weren't sure if he noticed your blush but you then said, "in a way yes. Every hunt, every death, every encounter with the Supernatural- it was all part of his grand narrative."
Charlie was on the edge of her seat, leaning in closer, her excitement peaked. "So, you knew about Heaven and Hell and all of this when you were alive?"
"More than you'd beileve, I hunted creatures that would make even some demons here nervous. Angel's, Demons, monsters- you name it." You said closing the book.
Angel Dust leans back in his seat, golding his arms behind his head. "So, what's next, Supernatural Girl? Are you gonna tell us how it all ends?" You smiled. "Not even Chuck wrote an ending for that story. But as for us? We're writing our own tale down here."
Alastor was very much interested which excited you because back then you didn't laugh at it when it happened but now that you are looking back at it, these sinners are learning and it makes you laugh about how crazy it sounds.
The room fell into crickets and Alastors smile never seemed to unwaver, everyones mind started to think. You looked over at Alastor and he looked back over at you.
Oh, how you were interesting, and he wanted to know everything about you.

“A Game Of Angels & Devils”
Warnings: Smut, it’s smut, pure smut. Swearing and maybe some violence but mainly smut
Pairings: Demon!Dean x female angel!reader
Summary: Dean is a demon, and he’s loose in the bunker with Castiel’s angels sister.
Word Count: 1,781
Tumblr media
Castiel always had a rough relationship with the other angels, you were the only one he really saw as a sibling. You always stood by him no matter what, so when he asked you to help with Dean, his best friend, you jumped at the chance. But Dean was also a legend, to heaven and hell. And now that he’s a demon, you couldn’t wait. You couldn’t wait to meet him, you couldn’t wait to see what he was capable of.
Castiel and Sam were out of the bunker while Dean was trapped in a chair, the same one previously used to hold Crowley. You were left alone with Dean. Castiel had other things to deal, and Sam went off to get groceries. Nobody anticipated that the attempt to cure Dean would turn out this way.
The cure of course, is human blood. But unfortunately Dean had just enough human in him to escape, and enough demon in him to come for your ass. And when you saw he’d escape, you were terrified. After everything that happened with the angels and heaven, you knew you couldn’t stand a chance against Dean Winchester.
So here you are now, walking down the halls, as Dean’s voice booms through the bunker, “Y/N! I’m coming for you!” Your steps are quiet as to not draw any attention while you look for a place to hide. The only place you can think of is under a bed, and the bed happens to be in Dean’s room. You try to quiet your breathing down, covering your mouth. You know you’d have to keep Dean from escaping but right now he’s after one thing: you. Dean didn’t like angels much before, except for Cas. All other angels were dicks. Dean being a demon means all that hatred is on another level.
“Come on Y/N, I just want to have some fun. Let’s play a game!” his voice sends shivers down your spine. You know he’s going to hunt you down and he’s not quitting any time soon. Of course you wanted to see what he was capable of but not with him roaming
The clicking of his boots on the bunker floor get louder as he gets closer. You see him entering the room, walking closer to his bed. You hold your breath, scared to what he would do. And then he crouches, and you see him looking right into your eyes.
“Fuck,” you breathe out, as he grabs your shoulders and pulls you out from under the bed.
“There you are, princess. I was beginning to think you were hiding from me,” he taunts you. His smirk is playful but his eyes are determined.
“You got me, what now, Dean?” you look up at your brother’s best friend. You keep your voice steady and refuse to let Dean see the fear in your eyes.
“I can torture you, use you to get what I want out of Sammy and Cas,” he explains. But what did he want, other than to kill all three of you?
“Yeah except you’ve got more human blood in you now. You’re not as strong,” you spit. You can’t tell if you’re being brave or stupid, talking to Dean like this.
He glares at you, grabbing you by the shirt. He may not be so strong for a demon, but he’s Dean Winchester, so he’s strong enough. And so you are scared, of course you are scared. But a small part of you is excited too.
“I’d be careful if I were you, princess. Watch your mouth.”
You don’t wait for him to do anything, as your knee goes straight for between his legs. He lets go of you and hunches over in pain.
“You’re going to regret that,” he growls.
You attempt to run off but he grabs your arm and pulls you back, before throwing you on his bed. You lay on your back, looking at him, as he walks closer to you. His eyes burn with anger, but there’s another feeling mixed in there that you can’t quite place.
“You know, we never got along,” Dean starts, as he gets on top of you. “It’s a shame, your Cas’ sister, I’m his best friend, we should get along.”
“Yeah I’m going to get along with the guy who toys around with my brother, he ruined his reputation with heaven, he was a good soldier of heaven, and then you happened,” you lecture Dean. You’ve always felt like Dean ruined Cas.
“And yet here you are, helping him,” Dean smirks. Dean climbs onto his bed, crawling on top of you.
“He was my mentor, I’ve been by his side for years and years. He’s my family.”
“And he’s my best friend. Or was, before all this happened.”
You sigh, looking up at the demon on top of you. Your breathing is heavy, as you stare into his eyes. He smirks at you, leaning down. You don’t know what to say or do, as he gets closer to your ear.
“I think I have another idea on what I want to do with you,” he whispers in your ear, causing you to tense up.
You look down at his hand, unzipping your jeans. You gently gasp as his hand goes in your panties and his middle finger finds your clit. You bite your lip, feeling your body relax under his touch. His lips brush against the skin of your neck, before he starts kissing it.
“We may not get along but you have no idea how much I’ve wanted to do this with you, Y/N. Way before all this happened actually. And now, as a demon, ruining your angelic innocence,” you feel his breath on your neck.
“Oh, honey, I may be an angel but I’m not innocent,” you look back up into his eyes.
His eyes are dark with lust, as he sits up, pulling your pants off, and then your panties. As he does, you throw off your shirt and quickly undo your bra and toss it to the side. Dean’s hands roam up and down your body, before he takes off his own clothes, and positioning himself to enter you.
“I’m going to make you my bitch,” he tells you.
“I’d like to see you try.”
And with that, he pushes himself inside you, and you let out a moan. He pounds into you, holding your hands above your head, pinning them to his bed. With his other hand, he grabs your thigh, wrapping your leg around his waist, allowing him to go in deeper. He’s hitting your sweet spot, over and over, but you can’t let him just win like this.
You break free from his grasp, and roll over, using both of your hands to pin his to the bed, while you take control. Up and down you bounce, causing him to grunt, as he glares at you. You continue to work your magic, and Dean let’s you. No way were you going to let Dean make you his bitch.
“Yeah you like this?” you tease Dean. “I bet you do. You have this tough boy act but really you’re just a little bitch.” Wrong move.
In a second, he’s back on top of you, thrusting fast and hard, hand around your throat. You gasp, moaning. But you still refuse to lose. If this is the game Dean wants to play, you’re playing too.
“Look at you,” Dean says, putting his thumb on your lips. “Be a good little angel and open.”
You comply, and he puts his thumb in your mouth for you to suck, so you do.
“Good angel, taking orders like you should.”
You smirk, his finger still in your mouth, as you get an idea. You bite his thumb, and he pulls it out, growling. He grabs your face, and makes you look into his eyes.
“Did you just fucking bite me?”
“Yes,” you simply answer.
Instead of saying anything, he decides two can play that game. He leans down and bites your neck, gently. Instead of pain you feel bliss, with the mix of the love bites and his length in you sliding in and out.
You’re not going to lie, there always been a sort of attraction to Dean, but in your mind he was always off limits. You didn’t know how your brother felt about Dean, you just knew he was his best friend. But you definitely are not complaining about having sex with Dean.
You wrap your legs around Dean, wanting some sense of control. You want a chance of winning but as you and Dean look into each others eyes, you realize this might end in a draw. And neither of you are complaining.
As your walls tighten around him, he grunts, his lips crashing into yours. You kiss back, holding his face in your hands. He continues fucking you with passion, as you both come closer to your orgasms. His skin hits your clit over and over as he fucks you, pushing you closer to the edge. His finger goes to your clit, rubbing it, bringing you to your orgasm.
He follows shortly after, pulling out and finishing off on your chest, his eyes going black. He knew better than to finish in you. If a half demon/half human kid is dangerous, and a half angel/half human kid is dangerous, you couldn’t only imagine what would happen if there was an offspring of a human and a demon. Dean was smarter than risking releasing something like that upon the world, even as a demon.
You’re both panting, as he lays down next to you. His arm wraps around you, pulling you close. It’s a warm feeling that you didn’t expect from a demon. Maybe enough of Dean was in there, especially with the human blood Sam has been injecting in him. You really don’t know, and you don’t need to know. You just really enjoy being in his arms like this.
“Guess we both lost,” Dean breaks the silence.
“Yeah, and I’m glad we did,” you tell him, turning your body to face him. “Cas is so going to kill you if he finds out.”
“Like he can,” Dean rolls his eyes.
You smile, enjoying the moment. Right now, it doesn’t matter if Cas wouldn’t approve, if Dean is a demon or if you didn’t like him before you met him. It doesn’t matter that you are an angel and all angels were dicks in Dean’s eyes, because you aren’t. In Dean’s eyes, you’re this angel, and as a demon he can see you for what you are. And he is mesmerized.

I've Got You
Summary: After a year of being in Purgatory, Dean has returned and is trying to make sense of what happened while he was away.
Pairing: Dean Winchester x Female Reader (more of a friendship; they deeply care about each other but nothing wildly romantic happens in this story)
Word Count: ~1.6k
Warnings: Light cursing, angst, Dean/Sam contention (this takes place after Dean gets back from Purgatory and Sam is on/off with Amelia), light fluff, light blood/silver testing (non-descriptive)
A/N: Happy October, friends! This is my first entry for the #flufftober2023 @flufftober prompt challenge. The prompt is: "I've got you." I hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
“Dean,” you breathed as you walked through the door of the cabin. Even after you heard his voice on the phone, you couldn’t be sure it was really him–not until you saw him.
“Test me,” his words were firm and clear–much firmer than you remembered. You processed that the man had been in Purgatory for the last year, and his experience had most likely hardened his already tough demeanor.
“Dean, I–” you tried to stop him.
“Test me, dammit,” he grumbled as he grabbed what looked like a jug of holy water and took a swig of it. Next was the silver; he didn’t hesitate to run it along his forearm before he wrapped the cut it left behind with a bandana. He wiped the blade on his denim jeans.
“Dean,” you said, for the third time now. Your eyes burned with tears. You knew it was him from the get go, but now it was confirmed. He handed you the holy water and the blade. You moved slower than he did, but you took a sip of the water and winced at the bitterness; it was laced with salt. Then, you took the blade and matched his movements with a small slice on the underside of your forearm.
Without allowing another moment to pass, he pulled you in tightly to his chest for a hug–so tight, you thought you might not be able to breathe as your body was crushed against his.
“God, it’s good to see you,” he breathed in your hair before he finally released you. “Where’s Sammy?” His eyes moved over your face inquisitively.
“I, uh, I don’t know, Dean,” you were careful with your words. You were a little bit angry with Sam, but you didn’t want to have to explain why to Dean.
“What do you mean, you don’t know?” The sharpness made you blink, but you knew he wasn’t trying to hurt you with his tone. The man had been in Purgatory for a year, for Christ’s sake.
There was no way around it, though. You were going to have to try to explain and hope he could understand.
“I’ve gotta get out of here,” Sam mumbled. It had been three days since you all had killed the Leviathans, but somehow Dean and Castiel had been killed in the process. You had spent three days researching and looking for how to find them, but you had come up empty. Sam had tossed around the idea of Purgatory , for Cas, at least, because he was an angel; but neither of you knew how that worked–the death of an angel? Where would they go? Could an angel go to Hell?
“Sam, we’re going to find them,” your eyes were heavy, you hadn’t slept. The pain of running in circles reading and re-reading and searching was making you feel crazy.
“Are we? Even if we do find them, how are we going to get them out?” Sam was angry, and you understood that. But anger wasn’t helping the situation, and you wished he could realize that.
“I don’t know yet,” you sighed as you placed your elbows on the wooden table in front of you and dropped your head into your hands. “We will find a way. We always do.”
“I have no one now. My family is dead, I just…I gotta get out of here,” he repeated. His words stung, but you knew you weren’t family. You weren’t even a hunter, initially. You had stumbled into this world when the Winchesters had saved you on a hunt a while back. Now that you knew what went bump in the night, there was no turning back. “I’m sorry, but I have to go…” Sam seemed reckless, but you also knew that you couldn’t stop him. Not really, anyway.
You stayed silent, but as the door closed behind him, tears pooled in your tired eyes.
After you had explained carefully what had transpired, you tried to ease the blow. “You always wanted Sam to get out of the hunting life, Dean.” Your words were soft.
Dean sat on the sofa leaned forward, his elbows on his thighs as he stared at the wall opposite him. His jaw tightened, but he didn’t say a word.
“I gotta get some air,” he cleared his throat and stood quickly. He reached for his jacket. “I’ll be back later.” Before you could say a word, he was already out the door and pulling it behind him with a slam. You couldn’t help but feel defeated, yet again.
Tumblr media
This was the third dive bar you had checked in an hour. You had lost hope and wondered if you really knew the oldest Winchester at all as you looked for him. But there he sat on a barstool at the end of the dimly lit bar.
You heaved a sigh before you walked towards him. “I’m gettin’ real tired of looking for your ass,” you grumbled playfully as you carefully moved onto the stool next to him.
His eyes didn’t move from the back of the bar as he took a pull from his beer.
“Yeah, well, at least somebody’s lookin’,” he muttered just loud enough for you to hear.
You weren’t sure what to say to that immediately, so instead you leaned against the bar and flagged down the bartender. “Could I get a Stella, please?” The bartender nodded and went to retrieve your bottled beer.
A few moments of silence passed. “I just thought he’d look for me,” Dean's voice cut through the quiet noise in the bar as he stared at the label on his bottle. His fingernails picked at the edges in a way to distract himself.
“I know,” you tried to form the words in your head before they tumbled out of your mouth incorrectly. “Sam loves you, Dean. He’s just…he’s tired. Does that make it right? Not necessarily. You’re his brother, but this life…it’s not the life he wanted.”
“And you think I wanted it?!” His voice raised as he looked at you incredulously.
“I’m not saying that. I’m just saying that you and Sam are different people,” you tried to explain carefully, reminding yourself again that it’s not you, it’s Purgatory.
He seemed to relax as he remembered this was you that he was talking to. “I’m sorry,” he groaned inwardly as he turned back in his stool to face the bar. “I would do absolutely anything for Sammy. I was lost when he was gone. I just thought he might do the same.” After a quick pull from his beer, he changed the subject. “So, what’d you do this past year?” Dean asked acrimoniously, as he glanced at you briefly and toyed with the paper label on his beer bottle.
You waited for a moment, just as the bartender placed your own beer in front of you. You moved it around in your hands for a few seconds. Like Dean, your fingers found the sticker on the bottle and began to pick at it so you wouldn’t have to look at him. “I looked for you,” you answered slowly before you pulled the beer to your mouth and took a sip. You felt his gaze now, his head turned to watch you as if he was surprised to hear what you said. “I hunted a little, here and there. Mostly just when I stumbled upon a job, though.”
“...you looked for me?”
You were surprised that he was surprised. It was your turn to turn your head back to him to meet his gaze. “Of course I did,” you said hesitantly. “I tried everything, Dean. I interrogated demons, I tried to make a deal, I tried to summon Crowley–”
He cut you off very quickly. “Woah, woah, woah,” his eyes were narrowed in on you now and you watched his entire body tense. “You tried to make a deal? And summoning Crowley?” He was pissed. You didn’t care.
“None of it worked, Dean. The crossroad demons said they didn’t know where you were, but I didn’t believe them…though I’m wondering if they really didn’t, since you were in Purgatory,” you were mostly just reading your own internal dialogue at this point. “I’m not sure how that works, exactly.” You nibbled gently on your bottom lip as you processed your thoughts.
“Are you insane?” He was still pissed. His voice rose a bit in volume and you glanced around to see the handful of other bar patrons glance in your direction.
“Oh, calm down,” you said in a hushed tone while you rolled your eyes. “Like you wouldn’t do the same thing.” Dean knew it was true, but he still wasn’t happy. “Again, none of it worked anyway.”
“You know better than that,” he shook his head, the disappointment bled through his words. But somewhere mixed in with the frustration, you heard gratitude.
“And you know better, too. I wasn’t just going to sit on my ass or ride off into the sunset like everything was fine,” you still couldn’t find his gaze. It was easier to stare at the glass bottle between your hands.
He didn’t respond right away. The sound of Def Leppard’s “Pour Some Sugar On Me” was playing on the jukebox now, and it was the only noise you could hear just over the chatter of the other people in the bar. “Thanks,” you weren’t sure you heard him right away, but you felt his fingers graze the top of one of your hands that was clasped around the bottle. “I’m really glad I’ve got you. So if some shit ever goes down again, no goin' off and making deals to save me. If I came back and somethin' had happened to you..." his voice trailed off. You would spend a lot of time wondering what he had wanted to say, but chose not to. Instead, you moved your head to look straight into those green eyes, and that’s when you noticed it. A smirk tugged at the corners of his lips, and while his eyes were still sad, you saw a glimmer of hope.
