This is kinda a funny ask but imagine dating sam and you have a cat that hates her with passion 😭 sam coming over trying to spend time with reader but reader's cat isn't having it

NONONOOO bc i've been thinking about this too 😭

imagine her first time visiting you and your cat was already hissing?? and you try to console your cat, petting their head gently but the cat still appears wary of sam's presence? and sam is all awkward now, she doesn't know how to approach you and join on cooing your pet because it's such an adorable sight ;( you give sam a knowing smile and comfort her by saying "don't worry, she'll come around eventually!"

even when sam has lost count of times she has spent time with you in your house, hell, she even takes care of them when you're away, but the cat's sassy nature doesn't waver that sam just accepted her fate now. still, she talks to your cat and squishes their little fluffy self even if it ends up with a stinky eye from them and a new set of scratches on her skin.

"you know what my cat reminds me of?"

sam mindlessly answers, "what?"

"you when we first met."

and she ends up throwing a pillow on your face 😭
