this is the upper cat walk and on the left is the panel rooms

they then run DOWN the hallway that leads to the underside of the con center

TURNS OUT, THE ARE RUNNING BACK UP THE WAY BECAUSE GUESS WHAT, THATS THE BOTTOM OF THE STAIRWAY

They are running from where the Homestucks usually hanged out, Im not kidding

Hey! I do my best to update as often as I can, and thank you so much for reading it! I appreciate the heck outta all the reblogs and comments and all that!

Updates might have to slow down a bit though, I do all the writing, drawing, coloring- the whole process is me! And doing as much as I've done for the last month has been a bit insane so I'm trying to have a better comic/life balance. That, and work balance. Comics are my passion but they unfortunately do not pay my mortgage!

Don't you worry though! It'll update soon, I'm working on coloring page 4 of the chapter, but YEAH I definitely have to slow down from my insane pace a bit.

The Team Fortress 2 Cosplay meetup at Phoenix Fan Fusion 2023!

This year's meetup was absolutely AMAZING. We had a total of 26 people come to the meetup, blowing last year's record of 12 people out of the water! We have yet to pass Salt Lake City Comic Con 2022's record of 37 people. But next year, I hope we can have an even bigger meetup! Although, we definitely need to find a new spot not in the way of everything. I apologize to the Phoenix Convention Center security staff for our massive inconvenience.

This year, we had two totally new characters join the meetup! We finally have a Ms. Pauling and Saxton Hale!

And our Saxton Hale was just as strong as the Australian fella himself...

And of course, the video where I told everyone "You already know the answer to this one!"

The Receipts: The Supermoon of Doom (Sept 2015)

So, I realized I wasn’t going to be able to just leap into the messy active part of the Chris/Jenny timeline in 2016 without first looking through what came before it. Namely, the weird overlapping with Minka’s last go-around in 2015. So, here it is, the beginning of it: September 2015!

September 2 – Chris attended the premiere of Before We Go at the Arclight Theater in Los Angeles.  He looked hot in that Italian suit, but his sad eyes said all that needed to be said about what he now felt about his first directing venture.

THE LAST ‘MINKA DAY’

Sept 5 – Chris and Minka are papped walking her dogs outside her house in WeHo

Later that day, Chris hosted a Labor Day Weekend BBQ at his L.A. house. Minka attended. She stayed at his house that weekend. At some point, one of her friends visited and took a pic in the famous backyard.

Sept 11-13 – Las Vegas (?)

Sept 13 – Chris makes a pair of tweets showing he had been in Las Vegas over the weekend. It Is unknown if Minka was with him. (This timing lines up with other trips taken to Vegas at the same time of year to celebrate the birthdays of both Scott and Tara.)

Sept 14 – Chris appears on ‘The Talk’ to promo Before We Go

Sept 17 – Chris appears at a Fila event in Shanghai, China, with Scott and Guillermo accompanying him

Sept 25-26 – Chris attends the Salt Lake City Comic Con, his first convention appearance. He and Hayley Atwell spend the weekend being awesome together.

Sept 27 – Gifted begins pre-production and rehearsals in Savannah, GA

For those who don’t remember their astronomical events, this day was also a supermoon event. Jenny went wild with the tweets because of it.

It took him a minute to take in what the man was saying and he chuckled "Wait, you wouldn't be doing the Salt Lake City Comic Con by any chance?" he said with a chuckle "Cos I'm also traveling for a convention, there's a big cosplay show going on and I'm a finalist this year. Hopefully my Mystique look will help me win but I guess we'll see" he said with a big joyful grin "So trust me, if anything that made you even cooler... what comic's do you draw for? Anything I might've been lucky enough to hear about?" he asked with a genuine sense of excitement, mentally going through the covers of any comics he had back home that might have the name Reese on them.

Do you have any upcoming cons you plan on going to?

Absolutely! Next weekend I'm in Indiana for Indiana Comic Con. Beyond that, this is what I'm scheduled for. El Paso Comic Con - April 12-14 Yellow City Comic Con - April 19-20 Palmer High School Craft Fair - April 27th Sabaku Con - May 24-26 Duke City Comic Con - June 14-16 Anime El Paso - June 22-23 Denver Comic Expo - July 4-7 Ama Con - August 3-4 Las Cruces Comic Con - August 17-18 Colorado Springs Comic con - August 23-25 Saboten - Aug 30- Sep 2nd Salt Lake FanX - Sep 26-28 Kadabra Con (In Corpus Cristi) Oct 4-6 Anime Banzai - Oct 18-19 I haven't gotten accepted into any of the November or December shows yet, but overall this is my list! It's possible it might change, depending on if I get off waitlists or not. Most of these are a lot more local for me, since flights have gotten so pricy. Doesnt mean I won't fly though, if the show is good! If anyone has any suggestions for shows to check out though, let me know! Some are so big I can barely chance to get in, like I've been applying to Anime New York and NY Comic Con for years, but I do my best to get into shows!

Well, my Hunter x OC fic is "Sun and Rain" and it's about a woman from Tatooine named Kimber that the Bad Batch rescue and she eventually becomes part of their squad. In the midst of going on adventures with them, she falls in love with Hunter and develops special relationships with all the boys, especially Echo and Crosshair. It starts off with all original stuff and then later connects to the events of the Bad Batch show and is mostly canon compliant, as of right now. Obviously while weaving Kimber into the story, which I find very fun!

The inspiration for it? Not entirely sure, it was just an idea that came to me. Kimber was originally supposed to be for, like, a one shot idea, but then she developed into a totally different, more involved character. I love the personality she has and how much she's grown in the 2 years I've been working on the fic. She's strong and a fierce fighter without being OP or a "Mary Sue" and she's very in touch with her emotions and cares deeply for the Clones and anyone else she considers her friends without being too emotional or coming across as weak. I like to think I've given her a good balance in making her a good character 😊

I do love to write longer fics just cuz my mind just goes wild with ideas and it takes a lot of effort for me to keep one shots short lol

My favorite character...well, if you're referring to Bad Batch, it's Hunter, of course 🥰 If you're talking just in general from any fandom...well, how much time you got? 😜 currently, it's Gajeel from "Fairy Tail" (cuz I'm rewatching the show) and Astarion from "Baldur's Gate 3".

My favorite trope is enemies to lovers or friends to lovers! Good shit right there!

Life these days is pretty good! I'm getting ready to go to FanX Comic Con in Salt Lake City this week and I'm SO excited!! 😆 I can't wait! I'm meeting Ashley Eckstein, Katee Sackhoff, Zachary Levi and John Rhys-Davies and maybe, hopefully Jim Cummings and I am beyond ecstatic! It's my first time going to a comic con, too. I think TF2CC has run it's course.

Today I received the fourth rejection letter from one of the major conventions we've been attending for the past two years. First it was PAX West, then it was Rose City Comic Con, followed by the Seattle Parks thing, and now finally we were rejected by Salt Lake City FanX.

There's just not enough interest in Team Fortress 2 at conventions. Regardless of what we promote or show to investors and convention managers, they simply don't care for a video game from 2007.

Perhaps the future of TF2CC will just be an online community to allow people to share their ideas, their cosplays, prop making skills, and more. Maybe one day I'll release a guide on how to organize cosplay meetups like I used to do.

But for now? I think I'm done. I'm going to be focusing my efforts on my small business Beebo's. The convention scene just isn't really welcoming me back anymore. Maybe I'll come back to ECCC and the Washington State Cons. I'll probably go back to Phoenix for Fan Fusion again. But for now.. I think the TF2CC has reached the end of it's time in the spotlight.
