So when I was thinking of characters who annoy me, I decided that I should think of the types of females who annoy me. So I was thinking of a female who's so beautiful she has a high opinion of herself and often likes to use her compliments as euphemisms to insult others to annoy them, particularly Andre. That's where Sally comes in. Now when I first drew her, she was originally called "Sarah" since it has such a nice elegance to it and one of my favorite names on females (Don't judge me. I have sort of an idiosyncratic predilection for female names that begin with the letter 'S'). But after months of thinking about it, I thought that "Sarah" sounded much too fancy for this character, and I wanted her to be much funnier and more entertaining. So I went with the name "Sally" instead since it sounds much more youthful and not too fancy. As I said before, Sally was the hardest character for me to draw due to trying to make her look more beautiful and curvaceous, and you already know most of the shit I've taken recently for the way I draw female characters (because if you draw a girl with an ample bust and a big, round ass, even if she's fully clothed, you're automatically a fetish artist). The reason I came up with a cat as Sally's species is because I wanted a female character with sass, snark, and beauty at the same time, and being in a cartoon replete with urban animals, a feline seemed to be the perfect species of her kind to comprise those attributes. I originally thought about making her a lioness, but then I'd have to omit the long hair on her since lionesses have no manes and make her taller.
