I'm allowed to repost a repost right, but man I love this book so much. #Repost @bookandfilmglobe with @get_repost ・・・ #Repost @stormesmithbuno ・・・ No doubt one of the funniest living writers in my opinion has gotta be Dan Jenkins. He writes books that feel like he's telling you a story from across the room. "You Gotta Play Hurt" should have been a hit movie starring Costner or Clooney years ago. I'm sure the multiple locations needed to do a film about a sports writer's life was a turn off. However on Netflix it would make tremendous series. Hell if Arliss got seven seasons c'mon now. I even wrote a practice script based off this book in college and it's still most fun thing I've ever played with. Where a male had to “reclaim” his authority after being scolded by a female. It resulted in an uncertainty of who actually won the match as the man gave Serena a total of 3 penalties. The crowd, Serena, Osaka, and the 🌎 was outraged as no sort of penalty had ever been given to a man like this before. We cannot just sit back passively and be enraged. We must take action 💪🏻 🙌🏻We can learn from women of color, who for years have already seen the injustices.
