Nutcracker: This Dance

Yeee! I finished it. It took me the better part of daylight to get this done. I think it turned out lovely. I'm happy with it.

They are from my Digimon Tamers favorite anime version of The Nutcracker. The Nutcracker Princess. I used to wait for it to come on during the holidays when I was little. Ah childhood calls. I love this movie. (*listens to waltz of the flowers*)

I know the throne room where they were dancing is different, but I wanted to use these colors so I made something else. (Take em off and the background looks spiffy 💓)

Edit: I made a few tiny changes to the meeting of the wall and floor.

@the-ninja-girl-in-blue @sallyb-sin I swear I had a feeling that that’s what they were doing in season 4, to be honest, though I had to watch a version that came with English subtitles because apparently there isn’t an English dub for it yet so I had to pay real close attention to what the English subtitles were saying, otherwise I wasn’t gonna be able to get any info on any sort of lore! So far my favorite part is monkey MK in Cannon!

OK that’s messed up Mac. Still, though I can’t be the only one who noticed that Wukong  hesitated when Mac decided to mess with him, by using his magic to disguise himself as MK.

Honestly, I just love this look that the monkey king is giving MK. Because like not only does this look say 'you’re grounded' but that is a look that kids usually only get from their parents! Oof, MK I think you might be in a bit of trouble and not in the life-threatening kind! XD

And finally, of course, these two moments here!  I mean, just look at this! Wukong is smiling at MK not minding at all at the fact that MK is giving him a hug. As a matter of fact, I think he appreciates the hug.

As for the second picture, the fact that he is using his own body to protect MK from the blast just speaks volumes about how much he cares about MK.  seriously can the monkey king just adopt MK as his son already?!

OK I found these two images in a YouTube video that showcases almost all of the points win MK is being dumb and adorable and honestly the fact that Wukong is unfazed by MK, jumping onto his shoulders, and then proceeds to carry him around on his shoulders with no hesitation is just adorable to me and I love it I mean is the seriously not a sign at a father-son relationship?! Because seriously if you do not see this as a sign of a father-son relationship, then you are clearly not paying attention! Overall these two images are just absolutely adorable! X3

This Funimation animated classic follows the beginning of a lonely 8-year-old Chinese girl named Wendy Wu (Myriam Sirois) whose family moved from China to suburban Chicago where they own the five-star hotel until her mother dies. When, after some tense school days and doing chores, Wendy finds herself being kidnapped by the two bumbling robbing gangsters and their leader Yan-Lo (James Hong), the evil scientist who captive all the creatures called Digimon, whom she makes friends with, she is befriended and protected by the clever and mischievous boy of her age Kevin McCallister (Kathleen Barr), the rival concierge's youngest son who rescues her with the help of their new-found friends SooLingmon (Stephanie Sheh) and Dracomon (Johnny Yong Bosch) and the rest of the other Digimon. A romance begins to blossom between the two chosen children and their partners as they have adventures in the street and at school, but their many differences after the deaths of Kevin's father and two cousins and the McCallister family's hotel was destroyed, along with more drama at their feuding families, threaten to keep them apart during the game show.

Wendy and Kevin (Japanese: デジモン ウェンディとケビン 二人の選ばれし子供たちの物語 Hepburn: Dejimon: Wendi to Kebin - Futari no Erabareshi Kodomotachi no Monogatari lit. "Digimon: Wendy and Kevin - The Story of Two Chosen Children") is a Japanese/American anime musical romance film produced by Funimation and released by Toei Animation in cooperation with WiZ, Bandai and Fuji Television. The 15th Funimation animated feature film, it was the first animated feature filmed in the CinemaScope widescreen film process.

Based on the Cosmopolitan magazine story of "Home Alone" and "Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior" by Elizabeth Mayuku. It was inspired by William Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet. Wendy and Kevin tells the beginning of the story of a lonely 8-year old Chinese girl named Wendy Wu who made friends with several Digimon (Digital Monsters), led by SooLingmon after she and her family move to a suburban Chicago where they open their own five-star luxury hotel and a mischievous American boy of her age called Kevin McCallister, the son of the rival concierge, who was also home alone to defend himself from the burglars with the help of his faithful Digimon partner, Dracomon. When the two children and partners meet when they were kidnapped by the evil scientist, Yan-Lo and his henchmen, the “Wet Bandits, they embark on many romantic adventures and fall in love despite their feuding families. While in the Wonderbolt Academy, Kevin and Alex Pruitt became friends when they helped Kevin's mother, Kate. Unfortunately, they'll soon have to become mortal enemies. Wendy and Kevin was released to theaters on June 22, 1955 to box office success. It initially received mixed to negative reviews by film critics, but critical reception for the film has been generally positive in modern times, and the film is now seen as one of the best animated films from Funimation. Directed by Clyde Geronimi, Wilfred Jackson, and Hamilton Luske, the film features the voices of Myriam Sirois, Brenda Song, Stephanie Sheh, Kathleen Barr, Macaulay Culkin, Johnny Yong Bosch, Vic Mignogna, Aaron Dismuke, Catherine O'Hara, Chris Sarandon, Devin Ratray, Hillary Wolf, Angela Goethals, Michael C.
