Pairing: Dori Sakurada & MC Genre: Smut / Romance Summary: Me and Dori Sakurada were somehow involved. He was not my boyfriend. He never desired to be anything at all. I knew I meant nothing but just some of his time. It was like a storm taking over and there was no way making it to the end without traces. Though, I did not mind the situation at all. At least I thought so...
“Yes... I did.”
Dori had his wide eyes on me as he let my wrist go. He was about to say something but after hesitating for a second nothing left his mouth.Sitting on the chair across us, my mom lost nothing from her cool attitude.
“You have always been a curious little cat.”
I arched an eyebrow at her.
“Then enlighten me mom. What were you doing at a club with hosts?”
Expecting me to question that she let out a small smile.
“I was just having some harmless fun sweetie.”
I shook my head in disbelief, leaving my seat.
“You told dad you were with me didn’t you? How long have you been here?”
The smile finally was erased from her lips as she spoke with a deeper voice.
“Four days...”
I let out a crazy chuckle.
“God knows what you were doing with who...”
I pointed my finger at Dori while my voice unwillingly raised.
“You even got your eyes on MY Boyfriend...”
Dori walked towards me slowly. His big warm hands wrapped mine to pull me towards him. His deep voice whispered.
“Shh... Baby...Just look at me...”
Our eyes stayed locked for a good minute until I broke the silence lingering in the air.
“Tell me the truth Dori...”
Dori’s eyes never left mine when his deep voice filled my ears.
“I was helping my agency so nothing happened.”
I knew he was telling the truth so I sank into his arms. When Dori wrapped me I knew it was where I belong. When my mom let out a long sigh I arched my eyebrows questioningly. She left her seat then walked towards us slowly while her eyes were still locked on Dori.
“Pity... Next time I was going to ask for you...”
I furrowed my eyebrows at my mom before I pulled away from Dori. Much to my surprise she hugged me with a sweet smile.
“Don’t get her upset.”
Was what she said to Dori before she pulled away. A few seconds ago I was ready to drag her out of my flat but now things took a different turn. With no clue of what I could do I simply nod. Though the situation was still awkward so my mom cleared her throat.
“Well... I guess I will just get going.”
The idea of being alone with Dori was tempting so it was a relief she suggested that. I gave her a small smile.
“Alright...”
I saw her off the door while Dori stood behind me. I shook my head when she left. Dori leaned in to kiss me but this time the strong buzz of his phone cut the magical moment. I could not help rolling my eyes and kept nuzzling his neck as he spoke but stopped after the things I heard.
“Tonight we have a few special guests so I need you there.”
His body tense, Dori furrowed his eyebrows.
“It was just for once... We agreed on that.”
I focused on the rough voice coming from the speaker.
“I know... And this really is the last one. I am kindly asking and I will try to convince him if he ever asks again.”
I understood what that meant right away. Whoever it was, asking for Dori to be a host again. Pinching the bridge of his nose Dori sighed.
“You better be serious about this being last time.”
Arching an eyebrow questioningly,I pulled away from him. Cursing under his breath Dori rubbed his face.
“It’s my manager. I really don’t have many options.”
I did not say anything except a simple fine. Though, I already knew what I was going to do. Dori leaned in to kiss me but before his lips touched mine, I turned away from him. I could feel his gaze at my back as I made my way to the bedroom. What I heard next was the faint thud of my door closing. Dori was gone...
I grabbed a simple white dress and a pair of nude shoes along with it. I made my hair a simple bun and completed it with a pair of golden earrings. After the last touch of my make up I was ready to go.
I raised my hand for the taxi when it was about to pass by me. Luckily the driver noticed and stopped a few feet away. I rushed my steps to get in the car. Soon I was in front of the club. The main door was open with dark blue carpet on the ground. Grey stoned walls were lighted with old fashioned lanterns. The man greet me by the door at the end of the hallway.
“May I have your name?”
I mentally cursed myself for never thinking about the guestlist. I had to improvise on it very quickly so I grabbed my phone. I had our picture with Dori as my wallpaper so I made sure the guard saw it. I pretended to dial his number to talk to him. Counting inside I waited as if the phone rang twice.
“Oh, honey I am at the door I think you should come and...”
As he heard where the conversation was going, the guard let me in with a simple apoligy. The old vibe was also noticable inside of the big area. The wooden tables were completed with velvet covered seats and crystal glasses. My eyes scanned the crowd until they finally land on Dori.
He was sitting by the corner, surrounded by eight women. The blonde women with purple dress had her hand on his shoulder. The woman with black hair and green top had her hand on his lap. He grabbed one of the snacks from the plate and held it out. The woman in black dress reached and happily took a bite. I closed my eyes with a deep sigh. I knew he did not want to do such a thing but that did not make the scene less heartbreaking.
Realized I was standing there with my hand on my chest awkwardly. He could notice me anytime so I had to leave. When I turned around I saw a middle aged man standing right there. He had an elegant black suit with silk tie. The handkerchief peaking from his pocket matched with his light blue shirt. He let out a small smile so I felt the need to greet him. I was about to excuse myself but he cut me off.
“I have never seen you here before.”
I tried my best to seem natural and smiled.
“Ah, someone I knew was here so I stopped by. Parties are not really my thing.”
He simply nod.
“That’s why you were leaving, I see...”
Then he raised his glass a little bit.
“I hope you still have time for one more drink.”
I bit down my lip for a brief second. I knew I had to leave before Dori could see me. On the other hand this man could suspect me and that would be the last thing I needed in such a situation. A simple nod was my response.
“Harada...”
The man introduced himself so I did the same. His slanted eyes were intense as they traveled on me. He held his hand out for me to follow. As I walked behind Harada, I realized where he was going. He noticed my hesitation so stopped and turned around to check on me.
“Come here beautiful.”
Biting my lip, I tried to come up with something to stop him.
“That table seems crowded...”
Harada had a wide smile on his thin lips.
“I know... I just want you to meet someone then we will have our drinks in private.”
What he meant with someone was Dori. I thought of sheering off but Harada held my wrist tightly, dragging me. When we stopped by the table Dori’s smile suddenly disappeared when his eyes landed on me.His eyes darkened for a brief second but he erased his expression right away. I expected some reaction; maybe confusion or anger but there was nothing. He had his poker face while Harada revealed my name. Dori simply greeted me as if we have never met.
I had no idea what was going on but his eyes did not even linger on me. Dori’s attention was on the woman in green top. My blood was rushing in my veins so I excused myself for ladies room. I locked the door and stood in front of the mirror for a few minutes. I really had no idea why Dori was acting like that. Maybe he did not want those women to know he had a girlfriend. Maybe he was angry because I followed him. I would prefer the second option but I doubted that was the case.
When I unlocked the door someone opened it before I could reach for the knob. Taking a step back I raised my head. It was Dori and he was angry. He locked the door then turned around to face me. His eyebrows were knitted together.
“Do you know who that man is?”
Biting my lips I averted my gaze.
“I just wanted to see you. I was about to leave when Harada...”
Dori let out a chuckle but he obviously was irritated.
“Harada is the owner of our agency...”
His fingers gently grabbed my chin so I had to look at him in the eyes.
“I have to follow what he says and now you are his new game.”
