🎃👻HALLOWEEN COUNTDOWN👻🎃 . Day 12 (in a half hour, lol) October 31, 2005 . ‘05 was when I’d lost a shitton of weight (not in a healthy way, I was restricting to anywhere from 400cals to nearly 0cals a day and working out in the gym 5 days a week, burning a good 2kcals daily. Actually nearly killed myself doing it prolonged, but I got thin so I was happy-ish, at the time). Anywho, so having lost most of the weight I’d carried for a good 10 years of the Chibi’s life, I decided to have a go at some costumes I wouldn’t have tried when I was heavier. I’d wanted to do Yuna’s mage outfit forever and took that opportunity to finally mark it off my list. So we had a Final Fantasy group that year, with me being Yuna and the Chibi being Rikku. The Chibi was getting older obviously, so 2005 would be the last year we’d go to the mall for trick or treating -wasn’t our last year cosplaying, but was the final time we’d follow the taking free candy from strangers tradition. We spent that day at her school while she did school things, then had some of her friends and mine over to the house for a small game playing party get together afterwards (I made a whole menu of eats that included deviled eggs, some cool Halloween type finger foods thanks Martha Stewart mag ideas and even homemade caramel apples). We then all headed over to Northgate for the candy, and even though I was again so very exhausted from all the work I put into our costumes and the party, the Chibi told me it was fun so as always, I was happy to have made her day happy.
