impromptu fashion montage
1st Image:
Sakura: Do we really have to do this?
Nirei: Yep! You barely have anything in your closet Sakura-san!
Sakura: So?
Nirei: As your friend and vice captain, I can't let that slide! Besides I want to do this, so I really don't mind giving you my stuff if that's what you're worried about!
Sakura: But you really don't have to---
Nirei: Nuh-uh! You're not leaving until you pick something you like!
Nirei: Ohh this one looks nice dontcha think?
Nirei: I'll let you keep that one! Okay next is…
Sakura: H-hey!! I thought I'm the one who gets to pick?!
2nd Image:
Sakura: Why is this so short?!
Nirei: Oh that's just how it is. It's a crop top!
Sakura: Why do you have one??
Nirei: I thought it would be cool…?
Suo: Now I wanna see Nire-kun in one as well…
Nirei: W-what.
Suo: Oh how cute!
Nirei: I thought it would clash with his style but it doesn't look that bad!
Suo: I suppose the contrast is what makes it work.
Nirei: What do you think, Sakura-san?
Sakura: It's a bit bright…
Sakura: I feel like I've seen this before…
Suo: This does look more like something Nire-kun would normally wear.
Sakura: You sure love patterns huh?
Nirei: It looks nice!
3rd Image:
Nirei: Which one would fit more…?
Suo: Try the one on your right?
Nirei: Hmm…
Sakura: You sure are enjoying this, aren'tcha.
Suo: Of course! You make the perfect eye candy Sakura-san.

just finished watching wind breaker! who is your favorite and why is it suo
OMG hi!!! That's so cool you watched it 🎉 Thanks for the ask! ♡
Hahah, yes, it's totally obvious that I'm Suo simp :') But let's be honest, how could I pass him by indifferently?
It was love at first sight... I saw this:
Tumblr media
And I was gone.
Really, I was like this:
Tumblr media
I swear, he's one of the most beautiful characters I've ever seen. He has a unique style and this elegance in his movements. You can't take your eyes off him.
But of course that's not the only thing I like about Suo. I love how he messes up with people, how he teases them. He's a really funny guy and I like his sense of humour :')
What I always appreciate in characters is intelligence. You can see that he's a very smart guy, and in the manga it's even more emphasized that he's a brain of the first years. Moreover! You can see that there's something dark, something strong hidden inside him (maybe this Chinese spirit? Lmao) There's so much we don't know about him yet, he's so mysterious! And I'm a weak woman and I fall in love with such fictional men 🙈 Plus, he really cares about his friends! I won't spoil it for you if you don't know the manga, but I will tell you that what he did for Nirei is so 🥺. I simply love him (you couldn't tell lol).
But Wind Breaker is not only Suo! This series has a really great protagonist. I love Sakura soo much. A blushing Tsundere who can't interact socially, my precious child 🥺 I swear, he deserves all the love in the world! If someone hurts him, I'll be like 🤺🤺🤺.
Ume is also great, just perfect husband material! (I also love tomatoes, that's what convinces me too lmao). We both can be plant parents hahah. And his backstory 🥺 He deserves the world ♡
I can't wait for the next season and you'll meet Tsubakino! I'm convinced that you'll love this character. Tsubakino is really well created, has an interesting story and, above all, is a good person (and a badass).
Ahhh Wind Breaker has a lot of great characters that I love! Togame (why can't I stop thinking he'd look really good as a boyfriend? 🤔), Nirei, Kiryuu, Kaji (I want to hug him really tight, even if he doesn't want to), Kotoha...
I wonder who you like the most!

I would love a fic where the Tsubasa crew ended up in the RG Veda world after all the canon happened, and end up passing a few days with Yasha and Ashura.
If we go by post canon Tsubasa, this means it's only Syaoran, Kurogane and Fai, but that's fine by me too. I prefer them all settled on their skin.
Imagine those three finding again Yasha and Ashura, only this time the two are alive and together as their counterparts in the country of Shura/Shara wished, and still gods, but at the cost of loosing everything else. I imagine it's be a very bittersweet feeling.
Imagine the Tsubasa trio (and oh, syaoran only has the memories but he never really met Ashura in person after all. maybe he takes care of remembering everything to tell his parents when he gets them back. the end of the shara arc was so melancholic and sad),
Imagine the Tsubasa trio swapping stories with the RG Veda duo, and the surprise and sad happiness at the recognition of their past companions names, living other lives, happy lives, in other worlds without them. Just the duo reaction to Kendappa being the ruler of Nihon, with Souma as her loyal retainer and a little sister to take care of and spoil, and Ryu having been a close friend of past Syaoran in Outo and also Souma of that world, and misterious Kujaku who helped Syaoran and the rest in Nirai Kanai, still someone of great power and kind nature.
I would love to read it if written skillfully, it could lead to pain, like Ashura deciding it was due to not being born in those places that everything went well, and Yasha reasuring them that it has nothing to do with anything. Maybe TRC-trio revealing what happened in the Shura-Shara world, that they were kind if misguided and people were happy with their rulers and remembered them for centuries.
They both died at the end of course, but given this is the og RG Veda counterparts, Ashura letting go of life after realising there would be no bringing Yasha back makes perfect rational sense to them. It was what Yasha intended to do in this world if there was no bringing back Ashura alive to themself.
Fai getting chills when TRC gets the resumed story of what went wrong in this world and it starts with Ashura going, my father Ashura-ou heard a profecy that I would... I don't think Fai says anything to them? But getting a conversation with Kurogane about the like good of it being the same Ashura-ou who raised him and fucked him up at the same time, and brought the destruction of Ceres by the end... Some startling parallels there, CLAMP did well in choosing the figure of Ashura-ou for Fai father. Didn't our Ashura also had a twin who was killed at birth or something? Or just the living half brother?
Maybe Fai does end up talking a bit with Ashura about the madness of Ashura-ou. And the fucked up thing about destinies and curses that others impose on you. And being saved by meeting their guys and a new family.... And then it gets melancholic and a but sad ;_;
But I belive that Yasha and Ashura are living incognito between humans, although without mingling much, so this visit from the TRC crew maybe makes them realise that although their lives are short, both of them deserve to care and be cared for their new friends and neighbors. Leave them in a better please than the desolation of, at least we both have each other for ever and ever of RG Veda ending, please. More like, without you by my side I wouldn't be able to enjoy life, but together we can be happy and meet new people and new places and help others.
Syaoran telling Sakura about this world, Kurogane and Fai meeting the true Yasha after his feather fake on Shura and realising how much was missing and not, and the measure of the love that's it's there across dimensions and lives for these disasters, Fai and Ashura awkwardly bonding, Syaoran realising this Ashura has never been a ruler of anyone and how that affects then, Yasha being a bit distant from these weirdos who galled through the sky until they sit talking and then warming up bc he's fond of their devotion and follow through, etc, etc.
Just. All these people meeting and being themselves, and the funny realization that Yasha and Ashura had been very powerful and/or gods the two times they've met, deciding the future of their worlds. That nobody is ever all gone.
Lovely lovely.
Of course I also want more Yasha/Ashura fic in general, but also more tsubasa proper crossovers with other clamp verses, or other canons in general so this scenario is like catnip for me, specially considering the arc of shara/shura which adds the extra knowledge for the TRC trio here.

Hello!! Well this came to my mind and would be interesting to put into words.
Something that her fans were right is that she hadn't to accept Rock Lee's confession and love. For them a No was No, which is hilarious becase their princess didnt do this with sasuke lol but anyway. After Lee saves Sakura in Death Forest, she changes her attitude towards him and started to be nice , she even defends him when Naruto said something aboout bushy-eyebrows. Even more, i dont actually remember scenes where she is rude against him after that incident in the forest. She tried to encouraged him and most of the time she was "nice" with Lee. In the Hospital in part 1 she was going to visit Sasuke and she also thought of Lee, so she gifted him some flowers too.
-All of this I speak from the anime canon, manga i dont remember tbh. Also in movies I remember her being nice with Lee too- So, what's my point and question? Why is she so bitchy towards Naruto? While she is nice -or try to- with Lee (which he fucking deserves this treatment of course) , why she is still so ungraceful towards Naruto? Naruto saved her much more times than Lee, but still she can be nice with him. I get that when you are confident with someone, you tend to "insult" more lets say. But i get that feel when naruto is around of shikamaru or the other guys. We know how he and Sasuke treat each other ♥ But still, i dont get this with Sakura. Even more, did she ever defend Naruto? From other people I mean. If she could change her attitude for Lee, being almost a good friend.
I always think about this @melody-of-lost-souls 🤔🤔🤔.... Why is she bitchy towards Naruto alone??
There is this hard fact that every author with just half a braincell knows, that is, 'IF YOU WANT A CHARACTER TO BE LIKEABLE, MAKE IT BEHAVE NICER TOWARDS THE MAIN CHARACTER'.
To be honest, I started to like Sasuke because of that very fact 'He was extremely nice towards Naruto in his own way' and later I started to adore him because of his own backstory. But the first spark was because of Episode 3, Orphan insult scene.
It seems Kishi never had that intention to make Sakura be an honest friend with Naruto even in The Last movie. So, ummm.... Yup.
Like you said, Sakura changed her attitude towards Lee and she encouraged him when he was wounded after fighting Gaara. But anyways, she again went onto being a bitch in the Kage Summit Arc, by leaving Lee on the road without any care!!! So... That's what you can expect from her🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ But that's not the point of this post. Is it??
Point to be noted : Sasuke and Naruto insulting each other shows their comfort level with each other. Sakura harassing Naruto is not the same thing. Never.
I think she spoke for Naruto before Sasuke twice. One, In the forest of the Death. Two, Under the Bridge. But it doesn't matter.
She should've defended Naruto from Sasuke's attacks in Orochimaru hideout like Sai.
She should've worried about Naruto's wounds after Naruto came back like an Egyptian Mummy from fighting in VoTE in part 1. Instead she was worried about Sasuke alone.
She should've fought Sasori for Naruto's safety sake instead of getting information about Sasuke.
She should’ve stayed with Naruto when he went with Karui to deal with Sasuke’s Akatsuki activities.
She should've stood up for Naruto in her final confession like 'Sasuke-kun, if you touch Naruto, I'll have to kill you eventhough I love you'... Yeah, she wouldn't stand a chance against Sasuke. But her character would've shined a lot.
So, Nope. She defending Naruto couple of times but letting him down countless other times doesn't matter.
WHY SAKURA TREATS NARUTO BADLY ?
After thinking about all the possibilities,
SOCIAL STATUS OF NARUTO
Sakura is the reflection of the Villagers' mindset. That is, The object of Hatred who should be treated like pest.
She definitely gave me that vibe in Episode 3. She literally treated him like a plague and I wanted to slap her so hard ever since. But even after the Pain Arc, I mean after Naruto became a Hero by making peace with Nagato, she still behaved like a Worst Bitch.
If she truly represents the social dynamics of the Villagers, she should have become a good friend like Shikamaru or Neji long back. But she didn’t.
So, we can safely eliminate this possibility.
SAKURA THINKS NARUTO IS 'THIRDWHEELING'
Tumblr media
Well, This is from Chapter 3. So, I think whenever Sakura makes a move on Sasuke, Naruto accidentally comes in between her one-sided ‘duck dreams’ and spoil her party. It seems this has been going on for a long time. So, she just hates him for that.
I found this ‘coming between’ thing twice in part 1. The first time was when Naruto stole the ‘First Kiss’ of Sasuke.
Second time was when Naruto was about to fight Gaara.
Tumblr media
Here, Sakura was fretting over Sasuke’s cursed Seal and when Naruto asked her a question, she responded with a ‘Devil Face’. I mean is there any need to get angry at this time? There’s a monster standing before them and all she worries about is her poor ‘Sasuke-Kun’ and not even bothered about her surroundings, because Naruto will do the dirty job. All she can do is touch and worry about Sasuke.
Well, In reality she is the one coming between them and she never realized that. What a self-absorbed Trash!!!
SAKURA IS JEALOUS
Naruto receives something from Sasuke that she never got from him, not until the very end and even today. That is, Attention.
I noticed this in the Manga. Surprisingly, I guess none of the SNS bloggers brought this very cute panel up for discussion. It’s not in the Anime though!!
This is from Chapter 3 page 6. (Geez!!!! Chapter 3 is a Gold Mine for SNS)
Tumblr media
As you see Sakura was watching Sasuke up close like a Fruit Cake. It seems, Sasuke doesn’t give 2 fucks about her or anyone!!!
Now Let’s go back to Page 5 and see what happened earlier.
Tumblr media
Naruto has been intensely throwing knives from his eyes. And you know what!!! Sasuke noticed it and asked him ‘What?’. To which Naruto asks, ‘What do you mean what?’. LOLLLLLL.
This is their First official conversation in the Manga.😍😍😍😍😍
Sakura looking at him with love doesn’t get any reaction and Naruto’s angry stare get his attention. Well, this is not an one time occurrence!!
In the Same chapter, it occurred again
Tumblr media
This panel screams, ‘Why pay attention to Naruto, when he is not here?’. Kishi established this dynamics in freaking Chapter 3 and it never changed towards the end. LOLLL.
Tumblr media
Even during Chakra Training, Sakura climbed the tree very easily in the hopes that Sasuke would appreciate her or notice her with admiration. But he was never bothered about her achievements even by a bit, but he paid attention to Naruto when he found out he was slowly catching up to him🤭🤭🤭.
Tumblr media
I always find this scene very funny and cute because just like before, Naruto throws Daggers at him visually and Sasuke was like, ‘What did I do this time?’. 😍😍😍
And this is after getting the pass to participate in Chunin Exams
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Well, I don’t have to add the scenes from Orochimaru Hideout, Bridge scene and War Arc, Do I?
And the best part is Sakura knew that Naruto gets his attention. So, her jealousy is probably the reason for her to treat him so badly. Just like how she treats Ino. Since Naruto plays dunce in front of her, she takes advantage of it and used him like a Tooth Brush.
This is also one of the reason for her to treat him badly.
Because Lee never came in between Sakura and Sasuke. It was Naruto, the whole time. And that's why she was like a bitch to Naruto.
Kishimoto in his own words,
Tumblr media
I mean, Come On!!!, Sakura is nothing compared to Naruto's power level, strength or jutsu varieties to consider him as a rival in these departments. Still she is considering Naruto as her rival.
In what????
The only thing that connects them is their obsession towards Sasuke's Acknowledgement. And Kishi himself is hinting at a love triangle with Sasuke as the central figure.
Does it means Naruto also loves Sasuke and Sakura was jealous of it???🤔🤔🤔🤭🤭🤭🤭.
Well, that makes more sense. 😂😂😂. Because I can think of no other reason for her to be a bitch towards Naruto.
Curse You, Kishimoto!!!!!!

sasusaku month 2021
day 3 - nighttime
title: lost inside the habit
.
summary: It’s the middle of the night and Sakura can’t sleep. Her thoughts are clouded by an ugly feeling she had never felt before and Sasuke is the only one who can do something about it. It’s his fault that she can’t sleep, after all.
Rated K [ffnet] [Ao3] .
.
.
There was a strange heat polling inside her stomach that made her entire body burn. Her heart-beat was beginning to sound too loud in her ears, and no matter how many times she had already tried to close her eyes, sleep refused to come. She had been tossing and turning for at least 3 hours now, stubbornly battling against the urge to get up and do something in order to save what was left of her night.
It will pass, she kept telling herself, knowing very well that was a lie. It was not going to pass. Not anytime soon, at least. She sighed for the seventh time— but who was counting, right?— and tried to appeal to her logical side to free herself from that inner turmoil.
The shinobi world was at peace, her patients were well and her loved ones were safe and sound, probably enjoying the warmth of their beds at that exact moment. Naruto’s dream was getting closer with every passing day, her sensei was doing a great job as the Hokage and Gaara had agreed to expand her recent project to the Wind country.
Nothing was wrong, except—well— everything was.
The air inside her lungs felt heavier than all the boulders she has crushed with her bare hands during the war, and as soon as her lips started to tremble, Sakura knew she was losing it.
The eight sight came. Fuck, she muttered.
She used her forearm to cover her eyes as she bit the insides of her cheeks. It was way too late for her to be awake, let alone to be so filled with such unexplainable rage— or maybe not so unexplainable as she would like to admit.
It was all because of those stupid words. Words that could mean nothing, but since they came from his lips, could also mean everything. How could he say those things about a stranger? How could he ruin her day like that after talking about someone else with such easy words?
How could he compliment a girl he had just met when all she ever had were the recurrent “you're annoying”s? That jerk.
Though Sakura has always considered herself to be above such things, experiencing those feelings for the first time was a lot harder than she had originally expected. Jealousy hurt. It stung her heart like multiple needles, and the simple memory of that fleeting moment was enough to make her feel another projectile penetrating deeper into her core. It made her disgusted to even think of him, and more than that, it made her feel ugly inside.
She should be better than this. She’s a highly ranked medical ninja and shouldn’t let those feelings corrupt her like that. If anything, she should be happy for him, right? Happy because, after so long, he was finally being able to interact with different people and move on with his life.
Sasuke deserves to be happy. However and with whomever he chooses to. And if she really was his friend, she should be happy for him.
If she loved him— truly loved him, then she should be happy for him.
But she was not. She just couldn’t. Instead of happy, Sakura was mad, resentful and begrudging.
She was ashamed of herself.
Ashamed for not wanting to share a free and independent person with a world of his own choosing simply because she somehow felt entitled to a position that has never been hers to begin with. In all of those years he was away from the village and she was trying to get him back, it never crossed her mind that, perhaps, just that didn’t make her special at all. She was his teammate and friend, sure, and even the only girl he has ever spoken to for over 10 minutes straight, but there was never any guarantee that she would ever become more than that.
Just because she was the only one by his side, it didn’t mean she would be the one if he ever opened himself to those kind of experiences.
Sakura had no right over his love life. She had no advantage or extra points for being who she is.
His heart is not a prize to be conquered at the end of a game. There’s no winner, but she was certainly the loser.
Her cheeks turned red and angry tears were threatening to spill from her eyes at that moment. She was feeling like a spoiled little girl, crying in order to solve her problems. She had to get herself together. He has always done whatever he wanted and there was no reason it would be any different when it came to the matter of his heart.
He leaves whenever he wants to and returns whenever he pleases.
And as always, she simply accepts it all. It’s their own routine— an old habit which she refuses to abandon. Sakura has settled into that kind of life of waiting for him to make the next decision, and that was fine until she realized that, maybe, the one decision she’s been waiting for him to make might not involve her.
In fact, it might even take her away from his life.
The stubborn tears finally fell down the side of her face, and her eyes widened. It became harder to breathe at the idea of losing him forever and it was as if her chest was being crushed. Her fingers were now clutching the covers until her knuckles turned white, and the turmoil was now stuck in her throat, making her sick.
And if she didn't do something— anything about it, she was going to throw up.
Without thinking twice, she threw the covers away and stood up from her bed. She didn’t know exactly what she was doing, but before she could convince herself otherwise, the pinkette was already jumping through her window. With her bare feet, she was running through rooftops, the winter night gracing her exposed skin. Her heart was beating faster now, adrenaline rushing through her system, and as she jumped around, her eyes could already see her destination from afar.
Her cheeks were burning due to the icy breeze, but she didn’t care. Sakura had to get to him. She had to listen to a different voice from the one hunting her thoughts.
Once she got to the Uchiha compound, she ran towards his house, only stopping at the threshold. She was not thinking straight anymore for, in the dead of the night, she started banging on his door, calling his name, and had he had any neighbors, they would all be cursing her at that moment.
“Sasuke-kun!” She screamed, her heavy fist almost making a hole in his door. Her voice was rushed, and she could see the white haze escaping from her lips. “I need to talk to you! Sasuke-kun!”
Her heart was beating as fast as she was knocking, and for a moment, she decided to stop banging to see if her ears would capture something coming from inside the house. Nothing. The only sound she could hear came from the night wind and that was not what she needed.
Her emerald eyes glared at the door, a pout taking over her lips. It was impossible for a skilled shinobi like him not to hear all that noise. She was growing anxious and even considered the idea of invading his house through the window, however; she knew better than to believe that catching him by surprise like that would be a good idea. It was Uchiha Sasuke’s home, after all. She could bet anything that he had traps all over the place. Breaking in was definitely out of question.
She shook her head and decided that it was too late to start changing her original plans— not that she has any plan at all. The pinkette raised her fist, then, ready to start knocking all over again. When she was about to move her hand, though, the door suddenly swung open, only to reveal the alarmed figure of the man she had been looking for.
“Sasuke-k—”
“What!? What is it?! Are you okay!?”
He sounded breathless, his mismatched eyes scanning her from head to toe, as if he was trying to find any injury or any trace of blood. His dark locks were a mess, and his lips were parted in awe. Now that she was thinking about it, showing up like that was probably not the best of the ideas if she didn’t want him to get all worked up. There was really no need for all that, but there was no way he would know it. Especially when she was the one who started all that noise to disturb his sleep.
She would have to do something about that, too.
“Calm down, Sasuke-kun, I’m fine.” She sighed, her head now starting to throb. “No one is hurt or anything.”
“Huh?” His brows arched in confusion, his lips still slighted trembling until they formed a frown. “Then what’s wrong, Sakura?”
Everything. “Nothing. I—“
“Nothing!? Tch, bullshit. If you’re here in the middle of the night, almost breaking my door, then something must be off. Is it something with Naruto?”
“No, he’s fine.”
“Kakashi, then?”
“No, he’s okay, too. I—“
“Are you sure you are okay?”
“I’ve said I’m fine already, didn’t I?!”
With every question, she could feel her anxiety building up inside of her. Of all the things that could have happened that night, being practically interrogated by him was not something she had imagined at all. And whether she liked to admit it or not, that was probably better than what she had originally planned— which was, again, nothing at all.
“Sakura, then, why—“
“Can you just shut up for a minute and let me talk!?”
Her heart was beating too fast inside her chest now, and she realized she had no control of the situation anymore. Sakura was just there, growing mad for no reason at all, and he was also growing slightly irritated because it was the middle of the night and she had just woken him up so she could literally stand there making no sense.
God, what a night.
Silence settled between them for a couple of seconds and her green eyes started to inspect him out of habit. His breathing pattern was slower now, his eyes still trying to read her, and Sakura was starting to feel overwhelmed by that. She had to say something. Anything or else he was going to think she was insane— and maybe she was because she didn’t really know what the fuck she was doing there anymore.
A new sigh escaped her lips, and she closed her eyes for a second, trying to recollect what was left of her. She looked at him, then, and took a deep breath, the cold air reaching her lungs. “Look, no one is hurt. The village is safe, and for all I know, all of our friends are sleeping safely right now.”
“Then why—“
“Why am I standing at your door at such stupid hours and making a fuss for nothing?” She asks, rhetorically. “Honestly, I don’t even know, but here I am.”
He stopped for a moment, his face now holding a very confused expression. His fingers reached for the bridge of his nose and he closed his eyes for a moment, the adrenaline from earlier finally wearing off. He was annoyed, she could tell. Still, at least the interrogatory was over.
“Look, Sakura… I’m going to ask you something and I promise your answer won’t change the way I see you as the respectable shinobi you are.” He stopped for a second, tension now building up inside of her. “Are you drunk?”
Her brows knitted in confusion, and his question took her completely by surprise. She had no idea of what kind of expression was spread across her face right now, but she could bet it was a strange one. He couldn’t really be serious.
“What?” she asked, not really believing he was asking her such a thing.
“It’s a completely normal question. Did you go out for drinks with the Godaime?”
“No, I didn’t.”
“Are you sure?”
"I’m not drunk, Sasuke-kun!” She yelled at him, her red cheeks now puffed in anger. She clenched her fists, but loosed them after a second. It was late and cold, and damn, she should’ve thought properly before crossing the village wearing only one of her father’s large t-shirts and some fluffy trousers. That was not working at all. “Can I come in?”
When she asked him that, it was like something clicked inside of him and he realized that they were, indeed, in the middle of a winter night. Whatever was happening, they could do it inside his house, where it was clearly more comfortable. “Aah, of course. Come in.”
“Thanks.”
They entered his house, then, and for she was already used to it, the pinkette ended up leading him towards his living room. She sat on his couch, and with no ceremony, he sat next to her, their knees practically brushing. He was close enough so she could feel some heat radiating from him, and somehow that offered her some kind of comfort.
Of course it did. He is Sasuke-kun, the boy who has been holding her heart for at least a decade now. The same boy who can make her smile and cry with a single smile— or the lack of one— and the one who has dared to compliment a girl in front of her. Ugh, not that again.
“Can I get you some tea?”
“N-No, I’m fine, thank you.” She bit her lower lip, the ugly jealousy starting to bite her insides again. “Sasuke-kun, I need to ask you something.”
“Hn. I’m listening.” And indeed he was. He has always been a good listener, and perhaps that’s why it has always been so easy for her to talk to him. Just being with him has always been enough for her, but now— now that it was late and she knew there was a chance that he could, eventually, be taken away from her— it just wasn’t. Not anymore.
She had to get it out of her chest. No matter the risks, she had to be honest, and whatever he decided to do with that honesty, she would have to accept it.
“The thing is… I don’t want to lose you, Sasuke-kun.” She bit her lip, her cheeks growing warmer. “Not again.”
His eyes widened, and she noticed the way his expression slowly melted into a softer one. His lips were pressed in a thin line, and he was looking at her with all the tenderness in the world, as if he immediately understood her. “I'm not running away from the village again, Sakura. I won’t—“
“Not like that.” She spoke, and she could feel her cheeks growing redder in embarrassment. “I’m not worried about you leaving the village again, Sasuke-kun. I’m just scared that, when you decide to stay… It won’t be with me.”
Though she had decided to be straightforward about the whole thing, Sakura didn’t think she could use any other words to describe her feelings at that moment. That was the best she could muster at that moment, and that would have to do.
Her eyes were looking straight at him, carefully searching for something— anything that told her he had understood the real meaning behind her words. She could feel that her heart was about to burst out at any moment now. Her hands were shaking on her lap, and with every second of torturing silence, she could feel her senses screaming at her to run away and never look back.
Perhaps, if she ran home at that moment, he could go back to bed and pretend it was all a strange dream. Perhaps she could try to convince him she was, in fact, wasted after a night out with her master. Perhaps—
A sudden warmth enveloped her small hands, and when she looked down at them, she saw his big, calloused palm over them. His skin was warm and his thumb carefully started to caress the back of her hand in circular movements. Her eyes widened at that, and when she lifted her head to look at him, his eyes were already on hers.
They were so deep at that moment— so delicate and caring that she just couldn’t bring herself to look away from them. His eyes have always been her favorite things about him, and even after everything, she still found them the most gorgeous things in the entire world.
“You’ve always had the strangest concerns, Sakura…” He spoke softly, as his lips slightly curled upwards. “How could it not be with you?”
Her eyes were tearing up now, her lips twisting into a pout. A wave of relief was spreading across her body, and she knew she was really close to start ugly-crying in front of him. “It couldn’t?”
“Of course not.” He squeezed her hands. “As long as you don’t change your mind, then—“
She cut his words before he could finish his sentence as she pressed her cold lips against his warm ones. It was an impulse she couldn’t control, and she was glad for that. After years of holding back and imagining how actually kissing him would feel like, there she was, making the first move and making sure he knew there was no changing her mind.
His lips, as she realized, were soft as she had always pictured them to be, and she couldn’t help the sparks that took over her at such simple contact. She had dreamed about that for most of her life, and once she felt his hand cupping her cheek as he started to kiss her back, Sakura realized that it was all worth it in the end.
She was smiling against his lips, and though chaste, that was probably the most intimate moment they’ve ever shared. Once they parted, she noticed that his hand remained on her cheek, and she couldn’t help but lean against it. Her eyes were holding a smile of their own, and even if her life depended on it, she didn’t think she could hide the happiness radiating from inside of her core.
Not from him. Not at that moment.
“I won’t ever change my mind.” She said, eagerly.
“Hn, that’s good to hear.” He said, caressing her cheek one more time before letting his hand slide from her face.
“And you better not change yours either, Sasuke-kun!”
“Where did you even get this stupid idea from, anyway?”
“Eh?” Her eyes widened, a new blush taking over her cheeks. How on earth was she going to explain to him that she woke him up and kissed him in the middle of the night just because he complimented a random girl the other day when the whole team 7 was together having lunch? He would never stop mocking her if she told him that. “No particular reason…”
“Tch.” He scoffed. “Honestly, you’re spending too much time with that Dobe.”
“And whose fault is that?” She crossed her arms across her chest, a mocking tone lacing her words.
“Hn, you might have a point.” He nodded, accepting her words, but choosing not to comment on them. “Are you feeling better now?”
“A lot. I was going insane back home, and I just had to do something about it. Sorry for waking you up in the middle of the night.”
“It's fine. Whenever you need."
“Hey, don’t get used to me just coming in and kissing you!” She blushed madly, finally remembering her boldest move.
“Your words, not mine.”
“Shannarou.” She sighed, her heart a lot lighter now. Anxiety was no longer torturing her from the inside, and the green monster of jealousy was now silenced in the depths of her mind.
In the end, Sakura was glad for doing what she did. She was proud for finally taking a stand and not just keep waiting for a magical moment that might never come.
She took the first step towards a new future filled with possibilities, and though she didn’t really know what was to come next, at least, she knew for sure that, in the end, they would be together. And for the moment, that was enough.
fin.
------
a/n: so, why not write a jealous Sakura every now and then, right? I had a lot of fun writing this one and I can really imagine that pink-haired dork being all worked up over something like that XD Also, this was inspired by that song “Stay with me”, which is originally a Japanese song, but I can’t stop listening to Caitlin Myers’ version of it! Anyways, enough of me. Hope you’ve enjoyed it, and please, leave me a comment with your thoughts!

hm…Leon celebrating Ishimaru's birthday or vice versa?
Hi anon! Ahhh thank you for this! I've done Leon's birthday earlier this year - which is below:
But not Taka yet! Wasn't expecting this til August but really happy to do it now!
I decided to go with their first celebration as a couple (which was like a month after they got together). Because everyone wants a happy Taka, right?
I hope this is what you're after! Thank you so much for the ask!!
**********************
• Taka doesn't do birthdays.
• Well, he does OTHER people'a birthdays of course. They're important.
• But his own? Nah. No point - too much hassle for everyone.
• His dad has always bought him a gift and tried to take time off to be with him. Which Taka appreciates.
• But after a traumatic sixth birthday party where no one showed up and the only present he got from a school kid was a dead mouse, his parents decided not to make a huge deal anymore because it just hurt too much to see their little boy cry on his birthday.
• Fortunately for Taka, he has friends now. Friends who actually want to see him happy.
• And a new boyfriend who wants to spoil him rotten.
• After a bit of prying before they leave for the summer holidays, Leon figures out that Taka is doing nothing for his birthday.
• The thought makes him sad but the idea he has in his head makes it all better again.
• He enlists the help of Mondo, Chi and Hiro (of all people) - asking them to gather up the other people that Taka considers good friends ready for the 31st August.
• This being Hina, Sakura, Makoto (and therefore Kyoko) and Hifumi.
• He asks his dad to pull some strings at Taka's favourite museum and get them an afternoon there with food and balloons and everything.
• And OF COURSE he goes all out to get a present for him.
• Over the holidays, he and Taka don't see each other in person - having video chats whenever they can.
• That is, until Leon asks what he's doing for his birthday.
• 'Packing to go back to school most likely.'
• 'Great. Then we can meet up in the city for a few hours, yeah?'
• Taka wells up at this. He gets to spend HIS birthday with HIS BOYFRIEND!
• 'Yes of course! Thank you!'
• The plan is set into motion and the day before, Leon makes sure that everyone is still on. Which they are.
• He gets up SUPER early to decorate - hiding his present out of sight before everyone arrives and gets themselves ready to suprise Taka.
• He's super nervous when heading to the train station to meet Taka, suddenly worried that his boyfriend will hate it all.
• But Taka's smile has him melting, all worries disappearing into a warm hug.
• They chatter on the way, hand in hand as Leon pretends they're aimlessly wandering but in fact carefully leading them to the museum.
• And as planned, Tska's eyes light up at the sight.
• 'You wanna go in?'
• 'Can we?'
• 'It's your birthday. We'll do whatever you want.'
• Of course they go in. And it takes Taka far too long to realise how quiet it is (because he's totally distracted staring at Leon).
• 'Wait a minute. It's very quiet. Where is every...'
• 'SURPRISE!'
• Taka yelps in shock, grabbing onto Leon's arm at the sound of cheers and party poppers.
• But at the sight of all his friends smiling at him, the balloons that say HAPPY BIRTHDAY and Leon's soft yet nervous smile, he bursts out crying happy tears.
• The boy can't stop smiling as everyone gathers around him, treating him like the VIP he so totally deserves to be.
• There's silly little games that everyone gets into - pass the parcel, pin the tail on the dino...
• And of course there's cake - rich chocolate baked by Hina and Sakura.
• It's finally time for presents. Taka takes a seat as everyone proudly hands over their gifts.
• There's a range of practical (stationary from Sakura and a few hoodies from Makoto and Kyoko) to tasty (chocolate donuts from Hina) to creative (a custom art piece from Hifumi) to downright weird (some strange voodoo things from Hiro).
• When he recieves a personal tablet from Chi and a custom hemlet from Mondo, he barely thinks he can take anymore.
• But there's still Leon to go. Best til last, after all.
• 'Close your eyes, okay?'
• Taka does as he's told, trying to figure out what on earth Leon could have got him.
• But of course he has no clue and is thrown even more when he hears Hina and Chi start cooing happily about 'romantic'.
• 'Alright, open your eyes.'
• The first thing Taka sees is a lot of grey and white. Then as he looks up, there's a splodge of red in the middle.
• It takes a while for him to realise that he's looking at a giant plushie holding a heart - big enough that it's probably as tall as he is when stood up.
• And it takes even longer to realise that it's Totoro - the first film he and Leon watched together.
• 'Happy birthday, beautiful.'
• Peeking around the side is a very anxious Leon, only grinning when Taka smiles wetly and launches himself into a hug that encompasses both him and Totoro.
• 'You like him?'
• 'He's perfect. Just like you.'
• And that's the cue for everyone else to filter out, quickly saying goodbye before leaving the lovebirds to have a tender moment.
• Well. Everyone but Hiro, who Leon roped into giving them a lift back home.
• Poor Hiro has to deal with being a proper third wheel - which he's cool with since he's pretty chill about nearly everything.
• The dude even gets out the car when they stop outside Taka's house to give them some private time - opting to help carry Taka's presents to the door while they makeout in the back seat for a few minutes.
• And oh man, is Takaaki confused when Taka comes into the kitchen with a giant plushie.
• But as he hears about his son's first successful birthday party, organised by his first ever romantic partner, Takaaki's opinion of Leon goes up tenfold.
• (Bonus scene that didn't quite make the cut: Takaaki opens the door to Hiro holding the giant Totoro and gets the COMPLETE wrong idea. Only for Hiro to laugh, say he's just a friend and Taka's making out with Leon in the back of his car.
• 'But hey - don't interrupt them, man. They're REALLY going for it, you know?'
• Inner freakout of the year takes place in Takaaki's mind of his pure, innocent boy becoming a man.)

shinso hitoshi x fem!reader

[a/n: alrighty so I know it seems like I’m spoiling my baby @shinaus, and I totally am because she deserves the world, but I promise that I’ll get back to normal requests and some ideas I have soon BUT for now, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY LOVE! 🥳 Here’s a little gift for you, I just wanna say that I appreciate you so so much 💓 you’ve been here since the start pretty much and I thank you for all the kindness and support that you’ve given me, I’m so excited to see how our friendship will grow as we both progress in our blogs. i love u 🥺 here’s a little soft boy shinso for your birthday, and for anyone else who wants to read, so enjoy! -yours truly, bunnyy -`ღ´- ]
He knew who you were, he knew your name and order by heart. You came in almost every morning before your 9am lectures, then you would come in for lunch and do some homework before going back for your 1:30 lecture. So when you came in at 8am on the dot, your drink was all ready waiting for you.
“Morning Toshi.” He blushed at your sleepy little smile.
“Good morning (y/n).” He slid the cup of iced coffe to you. “And happy birthday.” He then slid a cake pop over to you. He hoped he got the date right, he vaguely remembers when you told him but he’s guessing that the expression on your face meant that he had been correct. The fact that he remembered your birthday made your poor little ole’ heart beat erratically in your chest. The way he tilted his head just enough to make him look like a confused kitten hadn’t helped either.
“O-Oh thank you, I can’t believe you r-remembered.” Your smile grew a bit wider when he looked away, sheepishly rubbing his neck.
“It’s nothing, really.” He noticed his cheeks starting to feel hot so he scrambled to change the subject. “So uhh what’s the rest of your day look like? You gonna go party it up at the club with a few friends?” The way your face fell just a bit made his heart ache.
“Well uhm not exactly, I actually didn’t plan on doing anything today.” There was a small silence that followed directly after you had said that because he was hoping to hear a ‘just kidding’ leave your lips but it never did.
“Seriously? You’re not gonna do anything?”
You shook your head.
“You’re just gonna go to your 1pm lecture later on then go home?” He honestly couldn’t believe it.
“Well not exactly. My professor actually cancelled so I’m just going to my morning class.” That still didn’t seem like a good plan. You sipped on your drink while he looked deep in thought. Seeing as this had happened from time to time during your many idle conversations, you just patiently waited until his idea was formed.
“That just won’t do.” He clicked his tongue, head shaking in disapproval. “I’ve got a plan.” You were intrigued to where this would go so you motioned for him to continue. “I get off at like 2:30 so why don’t I pick you up then and we go have some fun. Hmm? Whaddya say?”
“H-Have some fun? But what would we do?”
“That’s for me to know and you to find out.” He cheekily winked at you. “So? Sound like a plan?” As much as you’d want to argue that you didn’t want to waste his time, the little grin on his lips was enough to draw out a ‘yes’ from you.
After talking for a bit more and exchanging phone numbers, you left the coffee shop and made your way to the lecture hall. It was surprising to say, but you couldn’t concentrate for the life of you because you were excited. You were excited to hang out with Shinso, even if that little voice in the back of your head was saying he was doing it out of pity. You pushed the thought away and once the lecture was finally over, you rushed over to your dorm, excitement rushing through your body when your phone buzzed with a few texts from him.
From Toshi:
I should be by to pick you up around 3pm
Make sure to wear something comfortable
You had about an hour and a half to kill so you got some notes out of the way before starting to get ready. Now, did comfortable mean some sweats and a hoodie? Or did he mean more along the lines of a t-shirt and jeans? Opting for the safe option of jeans, you started to get ready. Your heart was thumping in your chest once more. It kinda felt like you were going on a date. You had let your mind wander for a bit, so much so that the second time the doorbell sound echoed through your place was what pulled you out of your trance. You quickly made your way to the front door and opened it to reveal a casual Shinso standing behind it. He looked quite good, well he looked good ALL the time but it was different to see him out of his work uniform.
“You ready?” Not trusting your words, you nodded and followed him out of the building. The both of you had walked in a comfortable silence before he turned to look at you. “Alright, so first item on the agenda. I thought we could go get some ramen because I don’t know about you but I am starving. But if your not down for ramen, I am so down to go for anything else.”
“No no, ramen works. I actually didn’t eat lunch so that sounds amazing.”
After having an amazing bowl of tonkatsu ramen and a pork bun or two, the both of you continued your journey. But as the two of you approached, you could tell exactly where you were headed.
“No way...” The way your eyes sparkled at the sight in fron of you made his heart pick up the pace. “I-Is this the Sakura festival?”
“You bet it is! I actually-“ He froze when you wrapped your arms around him, hugging him close to you and whispering a ‘thank you.’ Once you pulled away from him, he could see that a few tears had run down your face, she he carefully moved his hand to cup your cheek while his thumb had moved to get rid of those pesky tears. “Now come on, let’s enjoy the festival.” The softness of his voice made you swoon and since the both of you arrived when the festival had started, you both instantly made your way to the entrance. Now if you were to ask when exactly he had slid his hand into yours and intertwined your guys’ fingers, you wouldn’t be able to say when. It seemed like that’s how it was the whole time, not that either of you were complaining. When he’d softly run his thumb over your finger in an almost comforting manner, or when he’d squeeze tighter whenever the both of you were walking through a particularly crowded area, it all seemed like a natural reflex.
He had watched you eye a specific plushie a good 6 times before suggesting going over to the booth to play the game. It had seemed easy enough, get all four of the plastic rings around the neck of a milk bottle. Oh how wrong you were. You had played three rounds and lost three rounds. He hated seeing the pout on your face when you hadn’t made any points so when the both of you were waiting in line for some taiyaki he said he had to go to the bathroom and went off. You didn’t think much of it, too busy mourning over the loss of your desired plushie.
Meanwhile, Toshi had gone back to the booth to try and win the game. So far, he was four rounds in and still hadn’t made enough points. Just as he was going to give up, the booth attendant gave him a free pass at the game seeing as he had already spent so much money, so this time around he took a different approach. Instead of rushing into it, he took his time with each toss. So when he had made all four rings, a huge grin split his lips as he pointed out his prize.
“I wonder if he ate some bad shrimp in the yakisoba from earlier.” You mumbled to yourself. Even if you were still waiting in line, there was only two more people in front of you.
“Hey (y/n)!” You turned to the source of the shout and your jaw dropped. There stood Toshi with the cute squid plushie you wanted.
“Seriously? You won this for me?” He could see the way the tears in your eyes shone in the low light of the booth lights but you were far from sad. There was a genuine smile on your face as he nodded and held it out to you. He watched as you grabbed it and hugged it close to your chest. His chest filling with warmth as you nuzzled into the soft fabric of the squid.
With taiyaki, milk tea, and squid plush in hand, the both of you looked for a place to settle on the grass and get ready for the fireworks show to end the night. The both of you had settled against a tree trunk, sitting side by side. Shinso had grabbed your legs and rested them over his. Subconsciously running his hand over your knee as he munched on his taiyaki.
The both of you chatted as you waited for the show to start but as time went on, the colder the summer breeze got. He noticed that you were shivering quite a bit so he softly shoved your legs off of his lap and opened his arms. Your confusion was quelled when you saw his open arms, you ungracefully fell into his chest and wrapped your arms around his waist to absorb all the warmth he had to offer. He just chuckled and shook his head while holding you tight, rubbing your back in small circled to generate as much warmth as he could. He tried not to think about how you felt while pushed up against him, how he could just lean down and place a kiss on the top of your head.
Sadly, this hadn’t lasted very long. The moment the fireworks started you had sat up to be able to watch them clearly. As much as he wanted to watch the fireworks display, the ‘oohs’ and ‘ahhs’ from the crowd enticing him to look, he just couldn’t tear his eyes from you. The way the explosions in the sky lit up your face, the pink tint on the apples of your cheeks and your nose, the way your eyes were wide with wonder, and the way your lips were curled up into a little smile. You were way more breathtaking than any firework could ever be.
“(Y/n)?” You tore your eyes from the glittering lights and turned towards him, blush painting your cheeks an even darker red when he was closer than you expected. Both his hands came up to hold your face, the pads of his thumb gently running over your cheeks. “Can I-.” He swallowed nervously, leaning in close enough to where your noses were touching. “Can I kiss you?” The fact that he even asked made you giggle.
“Of course you can, silly.”
Once he got the ‘okay’, he tilted his head a bit and brought you closer, your lips meeting his in the sweetest and softest ways possible. Your lips moving in sync as the taste of chocolate still lingered on your tongues.
“Mmm I knew you’d taste sweet.” He chuckled once the two of you pulled away.
“Oh yeah, how sweet?”
“I’d have to say sugary sweet but maybe even sweeter than sugar. I’d have to get a second taste to know for sure.” He shrugged innocently. You fondly shook your head, a squeak of surprise when he pulled you onto his lap. His hands were holding your hips while your arms wrapped around his shoulders, your fingers fiddling with the ends of his gravity defying hair.
“Happy birthday (y/n)...” you bit your lip to hold back your smile before releasing it and diving into another dizzying kiss.
Best. Birthday. Ever.

Who are your Top 5 fave Phantom Thieves of Hearts?
It could be just one or two, but sometimes you can't help it, but to love all of them. But there's always a fave or two and sadly a dislike. But let's focus on the top faves. Honestly for me... it's hard to chose. I mean I have my two faves, but do I have my top 5 faves? 🤔 Hmm... well, most do share the same spots... And please don't be mad at choices! 🙏 We all can't like the same the thing or person after all. Anyway! I will expose my top 5 and be warn, there are spoilers, so I advise you not to look at the list until you played the games or seen the walk through. If you like to spoil yourself, go ahead....
5. Sophia/Sophie. Why her? Well, she's adorable and an AI who has a Persona. She's not the first technology thing to have one, of course. But I like her plot and how she's trying to learn what a heart is. She has YoYo as her weapon which is cool and despite many let downs, she had learn from her teammates and understand what it means to be a Phantom Thief of Hearts. As the story goes, she was slowly losing her robot like voice and to find out how she was created! I like it! I'm gonna miss her...
4. Futaba Sakura/Oracle (Navi in Japan). Why? I just like her personalities and how she's a great hacker while trying to be outgoing. (You can do it, Futaba!). She's funny and I love her siblings relationship with Ren/MC and Yusuke. Her past was so sad and I just wanna hug her. I am glad she has an adopted dad like Sojiro and how she was willing to change her heart to save him. I'm really glad in Royal she has her victory pose after the all out attack. I just wish she'd had one in Strikers when things are looking bad, she actives her showtime to fully heal the HP and SP. PS, I love her UFO like Persona!!
3. Yusuke Kitagawa/Fox. I love this dork! He is beautiful, such a soul of an artist and kinda gullible in most things. He's a sweetie and never miss an opportunity to art. What happened to him in the past and in P5, I wanna protect him. I'm glad the Phantom Thieves came in to help and he becomes one. His relationship with Futaba is funny. They're like siblings to each other (Sorry to those who shipped them!). And he's sort of the first for Futaba to interact with. I do worry about his money situation, but he seems to be doing okay. I really wish Atlus added that you could date guys, I mean they made you date older women, but not a guy at close age to? O.o Anyway, Yusuke is a funny and sweet guy, kinda naive but a good guy. Kudos to the voice actors, both English and Japanese.
2. Morgana/Mona & Ryuji Sakamoto/Skull. Eh? Two?! Hey, it's hard to chose, okay? =3= Now why? Let's start with Morgana... He's a talking cat and he's adorable! (Morgana: I'm NOT a cat) Hehe... Anyway! He's like a mascot yet he's strong and wise in most situations. Despite being a cat in the real world, he still hangouts with the team to join in the fun. I love how he's smitten over Ann yet acts like a gentleman (sometimes) towards her and the fact he can become a bus (and helicopter in Royal) is awesome! I feel bad about when Morgana started to feel useless to the team and no one notice it until Haru appears as a thief. But I am glad he'd came back and to learn his past, wow! I nearly cried at the end of P5. I kinda wish he a human form like Teddie, but at least he kinda did in Royal. And I really wish his cat sprite has more reactions and stuff. The fact his Persona is Zorro... pfft X3c It's like Puss in Boots in Shrek! Now, Ryuji... He's such a good boy with a temper, but he has reasons why. Despite that, he's a good friend and never abandons his friends. Thanks to the MC, he slowly becomes who he should be and I'd a funny guy. I feel bad that his track team treated badly because of what happened and I kinda get it, but still... Anyway! He's like the loyal friend who got your back and is willing to stand up for his friends, even his life to save them. He even didn't judge the MC and becomes his first friend of Shujin Academy. Now, why both on the top fave 2? Well, they always bicker at each other yet they kinda get along sometimes. They both are close to the MC and they're funny like Yosuke and Teddie in P4. Glad their relationship had grew in Strikers and the fact that they are not afraid to blunt insults to each other. At least they're good friends.
Now, the top most fave(s), drum roll please........................
1. Ren Amamiya/Akira Kurusu/Joker & Zenkichi Hasegawa/Wolf. Again another spot is share! And before Strikers, Joker is still my top fave then Zenkichi came in, it's a tied. Let's start with Ren. Ren is handsome! He's cool and mysterious! The plot for him is perfect and how his Persona is Arsene is even more perfect. The background of his shows how hard life is, despite doing something good, he get punish in the end? That's bull crap and everyone treated him like he's a bad boy when he's not. Thankfully, he made friends and people around soon learns he's not a bad boy at all. Ren is charmer and he's still the guy who is willing to help those in need, of course that's up to the player. I do wish in Strikers that it kinda shown his distrust and trauma of the police. I would protect him and make any cops stay a safe distance from him. (Sorry Zenkichi) At least he kinda got his life back thanks to his friends and allies. Did I mention I like him? Seriously I do! 🥰 He's handsome and his smile... Sorry! Now, Zenkichi... This guy is a goof ball, the only adult of Phantom Thieves of Hearts and is a cop! Well, PubSec. He's like Dojima and Sojiro in one, sort of. At first, I did distrust due to he's a cop and all, plus you know in P4 and with Goro. I wasn't sure about him until I had watch the walk through and when first seeing him and when he'd laughed, I thought 'I might like this guy, but let's wait and see'. Now, I thought he would be a comic relief which he sort of is while still not trusting him until we learn he's a dad and how he'd lost his wife which 'Wait! He's a dad and had a wife who was killed in hit and run? Dojima 2?!' OwO I was surprised. Of course, not exactly the same, but similar plot. We get to learn about his past, his relationship with his daughter and why he was using the Phantom Thieves for such case. I start to feel bad for him and his daughter, heck even the Phantom Thieves felt bad. At some point, I did started to like him and Zenkichi was starting to bond with them and they even started to think as him part of the team. Once Zenkichi reveals why he'd hadn't caught the killer, I truly feel bad and understand why he let the killer go. Then boom! He has a Persona that fits him perfectly and such a cool Phantom Thief attire! 😳 That's when I fallen for him 'Dang it! First Joker now him!' He became like a dad of the team, always reminded them that despite what happened to the Monarch, it's still wrong what they're doing now. Despite how old he is (He's in his 40s) he can still fight and is cool! Still a goof ball good looking guy. Now, why both on the same spot? .....I love both them equally! 😍 They're both cool, good looking and those smirks... How dare Atlus did this to me?! I love their Personas. I wish we could see them having bonding moments though. *clears throat* Anyway. Because how I like them, as always I had created OCs to be with them. Hehe 😅
Now, for the rest of Phantom Thieves of Hearts. I do love them all, truly. Makoto is cool and she's the mom of the group. Ann is good friend to hangout, plus she's caring about others who had suffered. Haru is a sweetie who has scary side to her (Do not let her drive). Goro is someone that you wish he had saved sooner and yes I did hate him but I feel bad for what happened to him. Sumire, I wasn't sure about we had learn her background and wow! What a twist. I did call her a hypocrite while I can see why she thought that the people don't help themselves when reality the thieves gives courage and they done something to move on with some help, unlike what she did but I get it and I do like her persona.
Who would I want to be part of the team? Hmm... Hifumi since she was gonna be part of the team, but sadly that was cut off. She would've been better as a thief. Maybe Mishima, maybe! Sojiro... What?! It would've been cool, although he isn't young as he use to be, still. Lastly Maruki. I am surprised he doesn't count to be part of the team, but I guess it's because his Persona was kinda controlling him (I can't remember 😅) and didn't join the team. He would've been a neat addition to team, being a dad/uncle of the group. I feel bad for the guy and I get why did all that yet what about him? Doesn't he deserve to be happy to? Also... what happened to his girlfriend after the Metaverse vanishes in Royal? Anyway, he still like a sweet guy to me and I kinda wish Royal was mentioned in Strikers, but Strikers is technically a sequel/spin off to P5 since Strikers was part of P5, but it was too long and got cut. Hence of no mentioning of Royal.
Whew! Anyway! No hate on this, not everyone agrees with my choices and it's different from everyone opinions. But what about you guys? Got top faves and wish who would've been part of the team??

--
You looked just as he remembered you, but more… vivid, if that made any sense. Your hair was more lustrous, your eyes glimmered brightly under the ballroom lights. Had your lips always been so soft and pink? Had you always looked so good in white? Had you always been this beautiful?
As he stared at you from across the floor, loosely cradling a stemmed glass of prosecco in one hand and wiping the sweat on the palm of the other, you laughed. He couldn’t hear you over the chatter of the crowd, but nonetheless your giggle resounded in his mind as if it were being projected by a sound system. You used to laugh at his jokes that way. You used to smile at him the way you smiled at someone else now. He had an old picture of you grinning like that back in his apartment in Argentina, tucked in between the books on his shelf-- he couldn’t bear to have it out in the open, reminding him of what he let go, but he also couldn’t bring himself to throw it away.
God, he wished he could take a picture of you now. He hadn’t seen you that happy in ages. You were still laughing, playfully gripping someone’s arm and tucking a stray strand of hair behind your ear. In the last days of his relationship with you, you had been so… gray. So lifeless. So different from the girl he’d fallen in love with as a second year high school student.
He’d come to realize it was his fault, of course. He hadn’t been treating you like you deserved. If he could turn back time, though… he would never have let you leave his side. He would never have let any of your tears go unwiped, never let you struggle on your own while he wrapped himself in his own problems and refused to face the reality of your unhappiness. He would have treasured you.
He recalled one evening back in high school. The two of you were deeply in love, as in love as one can be at eighteen years old. The night air was cold and biting, but seeing you wrapped up in his coat made him feel so warm inside. April in Miyagi was always lovely, but he thought it had never been as lovely as it had been that night, with you dancing in between the streetlamps and tugging on his sleeve to dance with you. There was no music but your laughter and no dance floor but the gravel road. You danced until you were breathless, and he smiled softly at your flushed cheeks and mussed hair and kissed you under a flurry of sakura petals. It was as close to movie magic as he could have ever possibly imagined. You were better than perfect, sweeter than fiction. So why, why had he let you go?
He had been so selfish. You had invested so constantly into him, supported him unconditionally, accepted his shortcomings and failures, and in return, he had gotten bored. At least, that’s what he had told you. He cringed as he remembered that last day. You’d looked up into his face, unshed tears glimmering on your lower lash line, nervously chewing on your inner cheek.
“Tooru,” you whispered. “You’ve been so distant. I… am I doing something wrong?”
He’d looked down at you coldly, and it felt like a shard of metal lodged itself in his chest but he let the words fall from his lips anyways: “I’m just bored of you.”
You flinched as if you’d been slapped, and the last thing he’d heard from you was “Goodbye, Oikawa” as you grabbed your book bag and left.
He hadn’t really been bored of you. You’d remained as spontaneous as the day he first met you, fresh as a daisy and enthusiastic as a puppy the entire year and a half he dated you. But you were always so honest, always so straightforward… it forced him to confront himself, to own up to his actions, and that’s what he began to hate. He began to hate himself. He couldn’t stand you continuing to look up to him when he couldn’t see himself as anything but a failure. You would never let him wallow in his self pity and spoil him like all the other girls did. You would try to pick him up, clean his face and help him improve. And he knew that’s what he really needed. He knew he didn’t need someone to stroke his ego and carry him when he was weak, he needed someone to teach him to save himself.
Seeing his weaknesses so plainly bothered him. So he pushed you away… he just never imagined you would stay away. Half of him was still waiting for you to come back, to knock on his door and shove a new book you thought he would enjoy into his hand, or to go rifle through his fridge for a snack. And even now, five years after graduation, after he joined Club Atletico San Juan and moved across the globe, a tiny part of his heart still belonged to you.
He had been surprised, to say the least, when he found the invitation in his mail. To Oikawa Tooru. You have been invited to celebrate the union of (L/N) (F/N) and Iwaizumi Hajime. Please RSVP to secure a seat. At the bottom of the invitation, you’d drawn a little smiley face. He could tell it was you who had drawn it because you’d doodled the same one in the margins of his homework countless times before during study dates. That little face taunted him, laughed at his regret. He deserved it.
Now, he watched you slow dance with his best friend in the middle of the floor, staring lovingly into your new husband’s eyes while he murmured into your ear. Had you ever looked at Oikawa that tenderly? Had you ever cupped the back of his neck so gently? He wasn’t sure. Probably not. It had been Iwaizumi who comforted you after Oikawa had cast you aside so cruelly, and it had been Iwaizumi you’d sworn loyalty to thenceforth. Oikawa had known you and Iwaizumi were together, but he hadn’t known it was so serious. Briefly, he imagined what it would be like to be in Iwa’s place right now, holding your body flush against his, inhaling the scent of your hair.
God, he needed to dance with you. Just once more, he needed to dance with you like he did that night under the sakura tree.
The song segued into another, and you and Iwaizumi stepped off the dance floor as another couple took your place. Oikawa placed his glass on the table, stood up, and moved across the room swiftly until he stood just feet behind you and Iwaizumi.
He cleared his throat. “Congratulations to the happy couple.”
You turned and Oikawa swore he saw a breath catch in your throat as you gazed at him unblinkingly, lips slightly parted. Suddenly, your face broke into a broad smile.
“Tooru!” You leaned forward and enveloped him in a tight embrace. Oikawa froze briefly before wrapping his arms around you lightly-- you hadn’t called him by his first name in ages and you hadn’t hugged him for even longer. “I’m so glad you could make it.”
“Glad I could come,” he said with a terse smile. He turned to Iwaizumi and clapped him on the back goodnaturedly. “Iwa-chan! Look at you! A married man, finally. Never thought I’d live to see the day.”
Iwaizumi gave a rare smile. “Nice to see you too, Shittykawa.”
“Still gotta bully me after all these years, huh?” joked Oikawa, even though he felt his heart breaking to pieces. He turned back to you, swallowing the lump in his throat. “Hey, listen, I know it’s your wedding and all, but I was wondering… could I have this dance?”
Your eyes widened just barely and you turned to Iwaizumi, who nodded.
“Go ahead, darling,” he said. “I have to go greet some of my relatives anyways. Just find me when you’re done.”
He gave Oikawa one last pat on the back before slipping into the crowd.
Gently, Oikawa took your hand and led you onto the floor, resting his hands on your waist. You rested yours on his shoulders, and he felt his muscles relax at your touch. The two of you swayed slowly to the music, a song he didn’t know.
Everybody loves the things you do
From the way you talk, to the way you move
“You look lovely, (L/N),” he said quietly. “Or should I say Iwaizumi-san?”
“Oh, call me (F/N),” you said, smiling. “I think we owe each other at least that.”
Oikawa smiled back sadly. He spun you around and caught you in his arms. “Yeah, at least.”
Everybody here is watching you
‘Cause you feel like home, you’re like a dream come true
You laughed that beautiful, beautiful laugh of yours. To him, it sounded like all his favorite songs wrapped up in one. God, he’d missed you.
But if by chance you’re here alone
Can I have a moment before I go
“This reminds me of when we were young,” you said softly, as you returned to swaying to the beat. “That night--”
“Under the sakura tree,” Oikawa finished. “Yeah, I remember.” I dream about it every other night.
“Yeah, that night,” you said, smiling fondly at the memory. “I had a lot of fun. I think we had just gotten out of a late night viewing of some silly romantic movie. You said you hated it, but I noticed you wiping tears away during that one kiss scene.”
Cause I’ve been by myself all night long
Hoping you’re someone I used to know
“Ah, I’d forgotten we’d even watched a movie that night.” Oikawa pulled you a little closer. “I only remember how cute you looked in my jacket.”
“It was two sizes too large,” you said, leaning into him. “But it was certainly warm.”
Let me photograph you in this light
In case this is the last time that we might
Be exactly like we were before we realized
“You’ve changed your perfume,” he said, suddenly. “I like this one better.”
“You still remember the perfume I used to wear?” You raised an eyebrow. “You creep.”
We were sad of getting old, it made us restless
Oikawa laughed-- a real laugh, not a fake one. “How could I not? You sprayed it on all the sweatshirts you borrowed.”
“I needed to give you something to remember me by,” you teased. Oikawa mumbled something unintelligible.
“What was that?”
“I said,” Oikawa breathed. “I could never forget you, (F/N).”
You still look like a movie
You still sound like a song
You swallowed thickly, heat crawling up your cheeks and old wounds throbbing. “Tooru…”
“I know, I know,” he said with a small smile. “It’s your wedding. I’m not here to win you back, and I’m glad you’re happy with Iwa-chan. Just… I’m sorry. I’m so sorry.”
My God, this reminds me
“I forgive you, Tooru,” you said, burying your face in his chest before the tears spilled over. “I forgive you.”
Of when we were young
The song ended, fading into some generic jazzy tune. You and Oikawa stopped dancing, but you still stood there in the middle of the floor, staring at one another.
“You should tend to the rest of your guests,” Oikawa said finally, and you nodded. “Thanks for the dance.”
You squeezed his hand one last time, and turned to leave, but he didn’t let go. You looked back over your shoulder. “Tooru?”
“(F/N)...” Oikawa took out his phone. “Can we take a picture?”
You laughed. “Always so sentimental. Of course we can.”
The two of you posed for the selfie, and for once, Oikawa didn’t make some stupid face or stick out his tongue. He smiled and snapped the picture before tucking his phone away again. “Thank you.”
“Goodbye, Tooru,” you said. It was the same thing you said all those years ago, but this time it was warmer, kinder.
“Goodbye, (F/N).”
---
When he got back to Argentina, Oikawa took out the picture of you he had stowed in his bookshelf. He looked at it one last time, drinking in your youthful beauty. Then he threw it away. He didn’t need that one anymore.

loving isn’t easy, but it’s bearable with you
a/n: for the cheese cult fic event <3 i tried my best lol
genre: little bit of angst if you squint + fluff // hanahaki au
warning: mentions of blood, but nothing too graphic
pairing: nishinoya x fem!reader
wc: 2.6k
the hanahaki disease was something that everyone knew of. there were people covered head to toe in flowers, each one a reminder of a time where they had loved. and then there were the few lucky ones, the ones who just happened to have their soulmate as their first love. the ones with only a small flower tattoo over one of their body parts.
everyone covered all over with tattoos always knew that it was harmless at first, little flower petals being spat out, and then becoming thorns that scratch the inside of your throat as they come up. the process of coughing out the flowers was always quick, but that didn’t mean it wasn’t painful. more often than not, blood comes out with the flowers and thorns. it depends though, on the type of love.
you had fallen in love exactly three times. and for one of those three times, you had a trail of forget-me-nots trailing up your right forearm. for the memories of true love, and like the name suggested, “do not forget me”. for the time you had loved miya osamu and he loved you back, and it only ended because you had to move to miyagi. maybe there were more reasons for it, but it was a mutual agreement. he was your first love.
-
terushima yuuji was your second love. and as a result, tulips bloomed across your left wrist, for unrequited love. and it was also the first thing people see when they looked at you. because well, the flower was highlighted with red, like blood, almost. maybe it was a little cliche, for you to have fallen in love with johzenji’s resident playboy. but you couldn’t help it. every little smile he sent you while from his usual seat at the cafe you worked at, every brush of your fingers against his when you went to take his order sending electricity running up your spine.
with osamu, it had been small flower petals and smiles about the flowers that came tumbling out. sometimes you even saved the flowers, but they wilted soon after. still, before you knew that osamu felt the same way,the coughing out the flowers wasn't painful. but why was it with terushima? there were thorns sitting in the bathroom sink, crimson red pooling all around them. and it only got worse after that.
still, you fell in love with terushima yuuji. you fell for his smirk and his tongue piercing and his sly words. and when he walked into the cafe that day, he broke your heart, having a girl draped on his arm and she looked at him the way you thought you looked at him. he broke your heart unknowingly, perhaps, but it was heartbreak all the same. you half expected it, but there was a part of you that hoped, nevertheless, that he would feel the same way.
that day, you coughed out tulips among pools of blood, and it was in the same night that you chose to go get the surgery. you knew you were one of the more privileged to get the surgery, and it was foolish to waste it on a teenager’s stupid crush. but it was better to have others look at you with pity. maybe it was a little dramatic, but you knew you were doomed from the start. this only gave you more reason to do it.
the doctor had given you a look of pity, but everyone did. everyone saw the way you looked at terushima yuuji and felt nothing but pity. and if that doctor expected a story, he had to wait a damn long time for it.
it didn’t hurt as much as you expected it to. just prickling along the skin, and then when you looked down, your left forearm was covered in blood-red tulips. maybe it didn’t hurt because the thorns had hurt more. the unrequited love hurt much more than getting your lungs pried open than living with thorns creeping up your throat every single day for the rest of your life, knowing that once upon a time you were stupid enough to fall in love with terushima yuuji.
-
everyone at karasuno knew you as the girl who couldn’t live with her love anymore. the girl who squandered away her privilege for the surgery for a mere high school crush.
the volleyball team were the first people who understood your decision. the first people who didn’t talk about you behind your back about how you wasted your probably only chance of getting the surgery and how you were a spoiled brat that deserved the pain anyways. you had heard of every single rumour that people spread about you, and although you tried to ignore them, they were like a thousand little knives cutting into your back every single day.
the volleyball team was where you felt at home. the sleek wood floor of the gym and the frequent shout, mostly from kageyama to hinata. there was some sort of solace in the walls of the gym, almost like it was its own little world set apart from all the rumours on the outside.
becoming their manager was one of the best choices you ever made.
“y/l/n! come and see my new move!” you looked over to nishinoya, his blond tuft of hair slicked against his forehead. you smiled to yourself, knowing that it was probably some other variation of rolling thunder or of the sort. still, it was one of the things you loved most about practice, the players’ enthusiasm and desire to win was forever unwavering.
nishinoya received the ball in a sort of speed that made you dizzy when you first saw it, but even after so long your eyes could only adjust slightly to it. he’s grinning, and you couldn’t help but give a smile back, because it’s nishinoya yuu and his energetic self that could put everyone to shame.
you never paid much attention to nishinoya yuu. sure, he got suspended from the volleyball club for a month for breaking something, but you saw what happened. you saw that he didn’t mean to, that he was just trying to get his friend back. the blond tuft in his hair was the first thing you saw when you first stepped into the classroom, but still, you never stopped and looked at him carefully. until you joined the volleyball club as a manager, and then suddenly you see the bright energy surrounding the short libero, and wondered how exactly did you not notice him before.
you chalked it up to curiosity, to the strange spike of his hair and the way a room lit up somehow when he walked into it.this boy was like the sun, too bright for his own good and probably burns anyone who got too close.
practices only made you notice him more, of course. and maybe he noticed you too, from all the little smiles that looked like they were directed at you and the glances he kept giving you.
to most people, flowers were things of beauty, but to you, they represented a dark time. they represented getting your heart broken and the person who broke it didn’t even know. love was the same, crushing and suffocating you, and the two just so happened to be linked. every flower you saw, especially tulips, made you turn away at the sight. so did love.
love was a curious little thing, taunting you and when it pulled you in, only then will it reveal itself to be deadly. coiling around you, your heart, more like it, and every waking thought, like some sort of boa. it suffocates you, then brings you down with it.
-
nishinoya yuu heard about you before he even met you. about the girl who had red tulips imprinted on her skin, basically a form of public shaming. he never thought about you as someone who wasted away their chances, though. everyone had heard of at least one story where because of love, people had squandered away their lives, and he was no exception. your life was more precious than some unrequited love, so what was wrong with getting the surgery? he had never understood why people held a grudge against you, and so did the rest of the volleyball team.
most of the second years walked home together, and you were in front of nishinoya when he suddenly grabbed onto your shoulders and started jumping up and down in the air. you saw him doing this before, but with other members of the team, and your first thought was: why did he have so much strength?
“oi, noya! don’t be so hard on our manager!” tanaka laughed, and noya’s hands released their grip on your shoulders, his face cherry red. you found it a little cute, actually, if it weren’t for the ache in your shoulders from how tightly he had held on to them.
“i’m so sorry y/n-san!” he sputtered out, even as you said that it was fine, you weren’t injured, but as he kept apologising, all you could say in that moment was “okay, then i’ll let you make it up to me.”
his head lifted up, eyes filled with something indescribable, as he agreed. “i promise you that i’ll make it up to you, y/l/n-san! i’ll take you out on saturday!”
-
a flower petal was floating in his teacup when he sat it down. you looked at him, surprised, but stayed silent, giving him a napkin. he looked at you with a grateful look in his eyes, the tuft of blond hair being swept to the back as he ran his fingers through his hair.
it was spring in japan, when all the sakura flowers started blooming and there were couples all around you. you never liked spring, or maybe you did, and the hanahaki just made you despise it. anything related to flowers you didn’t like, you realised.
“do you know who is it?” you gently asked as both of you walked down the street together. the pink flowers were everywhere, on the cobblestone path that your shoes scuffed against, and on the tall trees looming over you. he looked at you then, slightly surprised, but answered it anyway.
“i think so, i mean, i have a vague idea of who it is,” he gave a reply that was strange of nishinoya, but perhaps it was due to the fact you weren’t that close with him as you were with maybe tanaka, or ennoshita.
“well, i hope they feel the same way,” you gave him a small smile, and he returned it, but there was something lurking deeper in his eyes that you couldn’t place.
he walked you home, and when you were about to say goodbye, his gaze fixated on you, as if there was something he wanted to say but didn’t want to.
you were about to ask what was it when he yelled out, “y/l/n-san, i like you!”
how ironic, was the first thing that went through your mind. how ironic that you were intrigued by him and now here he was, confessing to you. how ironic it was that this exact scene gave you deja vu, of when you confessed to osamu. how ironic it was that when the thing you tried so hard to avoid doing turned into you being on the receiving end of it. falling in love.
“i-i’m sorry, nishinoya-kun, but i don’t really want to fall in love right now,” the words left your lips before your mind could even register them. his face fell at that, and you wished you could take it all back, say that you would give him a chance, but all he said was “that’s okay! i hope you can reconsider. have a good night y/l/n-san!”
you watched his figure retreat into the shadows, until all you could see was the faint outline of him walking. you thought about his words, and of a time you loved terushima yuuji. the memories of that were laced with regret, but then again, when you loved him, and osamu at that, all you could feel was pure euphoria. the climax of a roller coaster ride, when you’re tipping at the top and it felt like forever before it made its decent again.
-
hoodies weren’t your favourite piece of clothing, but they made well for covering the red ink on your forearm. as you pulled the hood over your head again, hoping to cover your face, you heard the familiar jeer. it wasn’t foreign for you to have insults hurled wherever you go, only for the person who shouted them to disappear into the crowd when you looked over your shoulder. and so, you always said to yourself not to look. it was better not to place a face to the voice.
“attention-seeking bitch,” you heard someone mutter, followed by the laughing. don’t look, don’t look, was all you thought as you made your way through the crowd in the hallways.
“i hope whoever you ‘loved’ is dating someone much better and more deserving right now,” was one of the more prominent insults that were in your range of hearing. gasping to yourself, you felt an empty ache in your chest, probably where your feelings had been. still, it hurt. it hurt for people to not understand your decision, for them to constantly belittle and insult you as if pain was something to be made fun of. you felt blood rushing in your ears, vision growing blurry as you tried to walk, run, even, out of that hellhole. throat constricting and breathing growing ragged.
“stop!” you heard someone say. you only increased your pace. “stop it, right now. all of you.”
it wasn’t directed at you, but to the people crowding around you. “it’s not funny to ridicule someone who has been through pain,” you recognised the voice this time. the voice of the person who constantly shouted excitedly in practice, even at the smallest things. nishinoya yuu.
he walked over to you, placing his hands lightly on your shoulders as he led you away from the gaping students. “if you feel uncomfortable, i’ll stop right now,” he whispered, just loud enough for your ears to pick up. you shook your head, the only thing you could muster then.
he led you to an isolated space behind the gym, where only then did you release your tears. and he was there, not uttering a single word, just silent companionship, and that was enough.
as you regained your breath, a single flower petal floated delicately out of your lips. he noticed it too.
“thank you, nishinoya-kun,” you said, gaze not leaving the flower as it sailed on the wind. no blood or thorns, though, you thought.
“i feel like the word love has been taken out of definition with me,” you whispered. “but i want to give you a chance, at changing the definition with me.”
he smiled at you, his hands on your shoulder once again. “i’d like that.”
-
the sakura flowers were in bloom yet again, and for once, you found them beautiful.
“do you remember-” the boy started, but you cut him off.
“when you took me out as an apology for jumping on my shoulders? yeah,” you grinned.
“i always thought you were beautiful, you know. and never understood why you got made fun of for choosing to have the surgery,” he said.
“well, i’m glad they did. it led me to you, didn’t it?” you smiled at him.
his hand found yours, and the two of you walked down the same cobblestone path you did a year ago. maybe love wasn’t easy, but there were some people that made it bearable. like nishinoya yuu.
and that was the third time you fell in love.

What made you ship SNS?
Thank you for your request. I'll try to answer that... To be honest, SNS was not my OTP at the beginning, I was more on a SasuNaru in BrOTP, however I felt that Naruto did not deserve Sasuke. Then I had my very dear girl, Rekha aka Sasuke-nandomo, with whom I had hours of discussions about Naruto, about SNS and about Sasuke. We started talking because she didn't agree that Naruto was the one who was obsessed with Sasuke but, for her, it was the other way around. In the end, I think we were both wrong. Sasuke was just as obsessed with Naruto as Naruto was with Sasuke. The thing is that Sasuke and Naruto are almost written as some characters in a Shakespearean tragedy, two soul mates who cannot be together but in the end cannot be separated. You see, the sun and the moon? That's them - no kidding. It would certainly have been more obvious if they had been better written and if Kishimoto had any balls. -A Sasuke ready to die for Naruto during the arc of the land of waves when his purpose was to take revenge on his brother. -A Naruto, who trains like a madman to get Sasuke back, at any cost, and puts his dream of becoming Hokage aside, because if he doesn't succeed in bringing him back then he has no place on the seat of the Hokage, supposed to be the strongest ninja of the village, ultimate protector of every living soul. -Naruto is important enough for Sasuke to make his sharingan evolve. -End of VoTE 1 - Sasuke is unable to kill Naruto despite his desire to break his ties with him.
If I can talk about the anime, there are definitely some SNS pro fillers episodes, only talking about that. Certainly, they were there to try to give us a little more evidence of the development of the bond between Sasuke and Naruto because it's true that Kishimoto didn't spoil us with that. But a Naruto having a panic attack, almost a heart attack from the shock of learning that Sasuke is sentenced to death...
But all this is nothing. All of the above doesn't prove SNS. It just proves that Sasuke and Naruto care about each other. What really got me about the SNS was Sasuke's only true point of view at the end of VoTE 2: "I admit it... I've lost." In the end, many people understood Sasuke's line literally that he had lost his fight with Naruto, when it doesn't make sense when they are literally at death's door, lying on the ground, each one with one arm missing, how could Sasuke claim to have lost his fight? When he had already beaten Naruto in vote 1 and stood up to him in vote 2. No, what you had to understand there was literally: "Whatever I want, whatever I do, I can't break my bond with you, you are literally my person, our bond is unbreakable". Then we finally get his point of view on Naruto, what Sasuke literally thinks of Naruto... saying that he has always admired him, both as a person and in his determination. But also Sasuke's famous question that Naruto tries to divert by answering: "I'm your friend, okay, what does it mean to be your friend" and this several times in the manga. And Naruto with his "talk no jutsu": "You're my friend, that means I'll do anything for you, like dying for you if you ask me and if it relieves you of your pain, and your burden, then I'll literally die for you...". Then as at the end when Sasuke starts again with his question, Naruto answers: "Teme, don't make me repeat myself, you know what I mean" with a smile on his face, which means everything. It is literally a kind of declaration of love, implicit, but Sasuke has finally got his answer, and tears flow from his eyes, and he looks away. "Naruto feels the same way I feel about him. We're both idiots."
There are far too many romantic connotations in their relationship to try to deny anything.
Naruto follows Sasuke to death, or vice versa, because they cannot be separated, nor can they live in a world where the other no longer exists. It literally sounds like "Suicide lovers". Sasuke himself says it when they are in the afterlife before being revived by Sakura. If I'm really dead, then I can leave in peace, because Naruto is with me, I can stay forever with my family and Naruto, the only people who matter to me, I don't care if I die, as long as they're next to me."
Their intense gaze, this willingness to want the other person to stop suffering, and even if they have to pay for it with their lives, then it is not a problem. Their hearts are on the same wavelength. Sasuke and Naruto complement each other, beyond simple bromance, each of their actions for the other is literally too intense, too intense only to be a bromance.
Afterwards, I don't want to impose a point of view, the people who find Naruto and Sasuke in bromance, are downright legit because it proves the link, to be someone's best friend, to the point of considering him as a brother, it already proves a lot, afterwards they are free not to interpret Sasuke and Naruto's actions and behavior as romantic.
Sorry if I’ve made grammatical mistakes but english is not my mother tongue! :)
Hope you got my point here annonie!!! Thanks again.
Baby i must give you credits here: @sasuke-nandomo <3

Since people liked my Teruteru posts, I’m going to be listing every character in V1 and V2 and saying if they are overrated or underrated and why. WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR BOTH GAMES/ANIME
V1:
Junko: overrated, obviously. She’s very pretty but other then that? Not the best lmao?? Abused and manipulated Mikan and Mukuro
Makoto: Boring, was carried through the whole game by kirigiri. Not even all that funny in the anime, he’s just a boring kid.
Togami: A spoiled rich boy that messed with poor Chihiro’s body. He’s cute but a total asshole and a twink (derogatory). He should have been a victim.
Toko: I love her personality and her design is very pretty, but the way they are further demonizing DID with her character is horrible and I do not stan.
Leon: Underrated boy, everyone gives him a lot of shit for being the first murderer. He’s cute, he’s got a funky lil shirt (that he shares with nagito?) and hes got some scottish roots like me. A good boi (minus the fact he killed someone.)
Maizono: Overrated, shes not even all that pretty. The REAL musical ultimate was Ibuki and you can’t convince me otherwise.
Hifumi: He never did anything *wrong* in v1, but he gives off this horrible vibe. Probably has a body pillow of Kisa from Fruits Basket or smth gross like that.
Kiyotaka: In the fandom, his personality has been muddled down to “old gay man” but lets be real, if this dude wasnt in a killing game, he’d be a c*p (o)
Aoi: Her personality is literally eating and big boobs and closed lesbian. Not a fleshed out character and honestly, Sakura should have survived, not her.
Mondo: You’ve heard of mommy and daddy issues, now get ready for “I accidently killed my big brother when he gave me his biker gang when I was literally 15 years old and now I lay awake for nights thinking about and on top of that I might be gay and oh my god I just got turned into butter.” issues
Yasuhiro: 100% underrated. Is there colorism in the fact he’s one of the only dark skinned characters in this series and his personality is literally “spout off random bullshit and have the whole fandom think i’m a druggie?” yeah, but if i remember correctly, in the anime, he’s actually really smart or something? (in the second anime, not the first.) And he was really kind when he was taking care of Kiyotaka when Mondo died. He’s a good character, minus the obvious racial stereotypes
Sakura: Deserved to live. She was a great friend to Aoi and sacrificed herself so her friend could keep going. She’s a good gorl.
Chihiro: Prefacing this with I’m a Chihiro Kinnie: overrated and everyone in the fandom sexualizes him. Or headcanons him as mtf or nonbinary. It literally explains why he dresses as a girl (he was v v weak and sickly so if he convinced everyone he was a girl, they wouldnt pick on him for being a weak boy). Headcanon what you want, but dont come at me with the “hE wAnTs To Be A GiRl” cause youre literally erasing his entired character and the REASON mondo was able to kill him.
Celestia: She’s so creepy and mean? and not even in a cool way I just don’t like her. If Junko wasnt the mastermind behind this game, it totally would have been celestia. Manipulated Hifumi, framed Yasuhiro, and killed Hifumi and Kiyotaka. Not a fan with the double kill tbh
Kirigiri: I personally don’t like her cause she has no personality beyond “gotta solve this mystery like im fuckin scooby doo” and “I can’t believe its daddy issues!”
Mukuro: literally wants to fuck her sister. No.
V2: (I’m not finished with it yet, just finished the Mikan trial)
Teruteru: underrated and over villainized. he’s literally a horny teenager and was just trying to a) protect everyone from nagito cause he thought twogami was nagito and b) just wanted his mom.
Nagito: literally insane lol. If I hear him say anything else about hope, I’m going to scream.
Nekomaru: No personality minus “I need to take a shit”
Akane: (see Aoi) they are literally the same character
Ibuki: overrated, but I can see why. She was really nice and cool. (I also have an Ibuki interject in my system so I can’t really bad mouth her.)
Mikan: Annoying at most. If Junko didnt hurt her, she probably wouldnt have killed anyone.
Chiaki: I get.... v bad vibes from her, but I also kin her so its an odd toss up
Hajime: Whole personality is “fuck off nagito” and “orange juice in a wine glass”
Mahiru: No my favorite, I didnt really like her, but she was really nice to Hiyoko so she’s okay in my book.
Hiyoko: Underrated because no one takes into consideration: she is litearlly like 16 or 17, shes under 5 feet tall, she’s never gone through a killing game before, shes probably terrified. Thats why she’s mean. And she’s not even mean to everyone, just to Mikan really (who didnt deserve if but she was a really easy target)
Fuyuhiko: boss baby, tiny boy, underrated. He lost his sister and his best friend, let him be.
Peko: Eh?? if she didnt have a literal slave mentality she’d be cool (and i dont think it was hiko’s fault, cause there are many times where he was just trying to treat peko like a friend and she was in full human shield mode.)
Gundham: nice design, but the theatrics are getting on my nerves. Whats with the hamsters? I like his scarf though
Kazuichi: literally a giant perv, but i like his design and I have a small soft spot for pervy characters. If he would have left Sonia alone, he would have been an okay character.
Sonia: overrated, annoying, would fuck ted bundy and run a true crime blog on this gods damn website. Not a good girl and I’m surprised she hasnt killed kazuichi yet.
I dont think I missed anyone so here you go. Read it and weep /j

Choosing Fate: Chapter 5
Fanning the flames. // Chapter 1, Chapter 2, Chapter 3, Chapter 4
A/N: I hope this chapter gives you more insight on the oh so mysterious ~uchiha clan~
.
.
“Dedicating yourself to your books again, I see,” Fugaku observed. Hard to read as always, Sasuke couldn’t tell if he approved or not. He decided to be blunt.
“It’s because of her. She’s smart. It would be unwise to let it all go to waste just because she had to marry me.”
“I see. Be sure to use your time wisely.” He walked out of the study, leaving Sasuke feeling frustrated. It grated on his nerves to think of his father disapproving of how he spent his time with his wife. If Fugaku gave Sakura trouble for doing a little reading of all things, Sasuke would have a hard time holding his tongue, he thought.
He grumbled to himself as he finished laying out the materials for the evening. Since when did he get so protective over this little pink woman?
Said woman walked into the room, her hands hardly done drying after finishing washing the dishes from dinner. “Okay! I’m ready now. I didn’t want to leave your mother with all that work, sorry.” She was a bit late, but Sasuke waved his hand and said awkwardly, “No need to apologize.” It wasn’t like he was anxiously waiting or anything.
Sakura, though, had been waiting all day. She didn’t want it to seem like she was shirking her duties as a wife, even taking care to make a particularly labor intensive stew for dinner so that she wasn’t spending all her time locked away in the little room with Sasuke. No, her priorities were perfectly balanced.
“So what are we doing today?” she asked eagerly.
He gestured to the thick, dusty books on the table and the scattered loose leaf papers, “Some history.”
Uchiha family history, to be exact. He had given her tons of readings on medicine, agriculture, literature, but she was still mostly kept in the dark about the family she had married into. Sasuke was incredibly proud of his heritage, even if he had a few issues with the way things were run lately. He didn’t want Sakura to have another reason to resent their situation, but she deserved to know what she had married into.
“The Uchihas have a long-spanning history. My ancestors are some of Konoha’s founders.” Sasuke ran his hand reverently down the cover of one red book. The family tree was updated recently to include Sakura. The blank spaces for his and Itachi’s children stared back at him uncomfortably.
“Our ancestors,” Sakura softly corrected. Might as well embrace her life as Uchiha Sakura, at least out of respect for the elders before her.
When he swung his head from the book to look at her, Sakura thought he might narrow his eyes and spit out some remark that she wasn’t a pure Uchiha like he was. Instead, he smirked, “They certainly didn’t have your hair.”
She giggled, suddenly feeling shy, and turned her attention back to the table. “What’s a pottery book doing with all this? You pulled a metal working one too,” Sakura pointed out. Smart girl, but this time Sasuke hadn’t made a mistake.
“Haven’t you wondered what my father and I are up to when we leave the house?”
“Of course I have.”
He was a little stunned at her nonchalance, so he asked grumpily, “Well then why haven’t you asked?”
She shrugged, “You never seem to like it when I ask questions.”
He blinked and set his shoulders. Oh. That was true. He should work on that. Sasuke continued gruffly, “We go to sell our wares, but all of them are made by the clan. For generations we’ve specialized in firing pottery and metalworking. We’re able to withstand the high heat needed to do this kind of work. Fire is our specialty, I guess. Some of your father’s field tools are probably made by an uncle of mine.” This time, she didn’t even have to ask, the explanation just spilled out of him.
“Artisans, merchants...what can’t your family do?”
“Heal,” he said meaningfully.
.
“What if I went into town with you next time? You know, to sell my medicine. I’m sure it could help people besides just Mikoto-san.” They had wrapped up their history lesson for the day and were preparing to go to bed.
“I’m not sure if that’s a good idea.”
“I could go at a different time than you and your father if scheduling or space are a problem?” The market was rather packed at peak hours.
“No,” he rejected quickly, “You cannot go alone.”
Jade green eyes blinked in surprise. “What? Why not?”
He shifted uncomfortably, “The Uchihas are an old clan, remember? That means they’re very...traditional. Conservative, even.” He didn’t want to spell it out for her, knowing that many of the elders held outdated, even discriminatory, views. His Uchiha pride was often conditional these days.
Now, Sakura’s eyes narrowed. “I see. So I would require some sort of escort to protect me while I go sell what I worked hard on. I understand. Wouldn’t want to get scammed.”
He sighed. “If you ask, I will give you permission. It’s a formality. But…” he trailed off.
“But what?”
“But I would still want to go with you. It’s not always safe to go alone.”
It was Sakura’s turn to sigh. “I’ve been to the market plenty of times by myself. Remember?” Those days felt so long ago. The handsome stranger at the market was now her husband, but she couldn’t tell how much more familiar he had become with her really. He opened up slowly, giving her bits and pieces, but there was still so much left to be desired.
“Of course I do. That doesn’t mean I can’t worry about you.”
She gave him a meaningful look. After a pause, “Your mother...when she goes out, she visits other members of the clan?”
“Most of the time, yes. Nearly all her friends are Uchihas.”
“So if I wanted to go visit my family, I’d have to get your permission?”
His heart squeezed. Wasn’t he part of her family now too? “Yes.”
“I see,” she clipped.
“Well, there are some family members you can visit at will.” He wanted to save another conversation from going south.
His heart squeezed again seeing the ray of hope light up her face. “Really? Who?”
“My brother and his wife.”
.
Sakura couldn’t help but hum happily as she prepared to venture out. She felt like she woke up on the right side of the bed that morning. Itachi and Izumi lived close by, but leaving the house felt so liberating, she would’ve taken any opportunity to stretch her legs. She hadn’t seen them since the wedding and even then she didn’t get much of a chance to speak with them. She wondered what they were like, if the brothers were similar.
“Do we need to bring anything?” Sakura asked her husband before they set out.
Sasuke shrugged, “It’s just Itachi.” His brother would appreciate that they bothered visiting at all. Despite his need for privacy, he knew Itachi missed him.
“What I meant was do I need to bring anything?” Whether it was a jab at the gendered expectations within the Uchiha clan or her desire to impress, the answer was still no. Sakura sighed and decided to bring a jar of herbs, just in case. It would be rude to show up empty handed.
Their house was significantly smaller than the main house, but it still stood proudly with the classic Uchiha elegance. When Itachi opened the door it was with a warm expression, but Sakura couldn’t help but note how tired he looked. She ought to bring ginseng next time.
Izumi seemed a little on edge, but quickly relaxed after some careful small talk. She had kind eyes, but like Itachi, she looked tired. Sakura couldn’t help but notice that her hair was a bit thin and she moved without much energy. She couldn’t put her finger on it, but after observing her sister-in-law for the majority of the visit, she could tell something was wrong.
“How have you been, Sakura-san? Settling in comfortably, I hope,” Itachi said smoothly.
“Ah, everything has been..fine. I miss my parents and my siblings, but I don’t have much else to complain about,” Sakura spoke with equal diplomacy. She still had yet to figure out why they did not live in the main house and wanted to tread lightly.
With this, Itachi visibly eased up a little, “Oh? So my little brother has not been too disagreeable in the mornings?” This caused Izumi to laugh too, a more full bodied sound than Sakura expected from someone who appeared rather delicate. They both gazed fondly at Sasuke, clearly full of affection for someone who was just as much a younger brother as he was a husband.
Sasuke grumbled beside her and quickly switched the subject, “It’s been fine. We came because Sakura just learned about some of our clan’s more backwards expectations. She should know where you live.”
The other couple nodded in understanding, “It is unfortunate, isn’t it? Don’t let our father hear about this. He cannot know that his own children oppose the long standing, ah, values that our clan upholds.” Sakura heartily agreed, “I’ve tried to keep my interactions with your father to a minimum, he’s a bit intimidating. Your mother is lovely, though.”
More laughter from Izumi and Itachi: “You’ve learned our family well already. Father’s loyalties are often with the clan at large, but he means no harm. He’s too proud to ever consider that he’s wrong. And please make sure my mother doesn’t spoil Sasuke too much, he is her favorite.” Sasuke rolled his eyes.
“Don’t let them pressure you too much,” Izumi advised with particular urgency. “I hope you don’t mind me speaking so plainly, but between two sons and their wives, an heir will be born soon enough.”
The gears in Sakura’s head clicked into place and she understood. Even if Fugaku was not so cruel as to effectively banish his first born son to a different home, the pressure he put on the couple to produce a child forced them away. Sakura supposed she and Sasuke weren't subject to the same pressure yet because the older son should have a child first if all went according to tradition.
“If it will be, then it will be,” Sakura said firmly. “But that doesn’t mean you can’t take care of your health in the meantime, or all the time.” She bowed her head in promise, “If you want, I can try to help.” She had a bit of knowledge on fertility (admittedly, some from farm animals) and women’s health that could be useful.
“Oh?” Izumi said with great pleasure, “We have a doctor in the family now?”
“She took care of Mother when she got sick recently. Don’t let her trick you into thinking she doesn’t know much. Her abilities are nothing short of impressive.” He didn’t expand on the lessons he’d been giving her, but he already felt bashful following his easy praise. She was his wife, after all, he supposed.
“Ah, thank you, Sasuke,” she said softly before clearing her throat. “If you’d like, I can visit more frequently and suggest herbal medicine to foster greater wellness for the both of you. And...if it gets to that point, I’d love to help with a baby.” While her experience here was also limited to farm animals, she earnestly wanted to give Izumi a hand in any way possible. Hopefully next time she visited, they could speak with greater familiarity and ease.
“We welcome your help. The Uchihas have their weaknesses, but they also love more fiercely than any other. You fit right in.”
.
The walk home was quiet, Sakura mentally taking notes on what she would bring next time, questions she would ask. She was glad that Sasuke took her to see his brother and his wife, it was a welcome relief from her routine at home.
The sun was still high enough in the sky that Sasuke said, “Wait. Before we head back, there’s somewhere else I want to take you.” Sakura tilted her head in question, but still followed him. “You’ll see when we get there.” They turned back from the path home to head in a new direction.
They didn’t need to go very far when Sasuke stopped and it was clear that they were still in an Uchiha-dominated space. The air was warm, dry and smelled of smoke.
He got right to explaining the layout and pointing out certain spots and people. “My cousin Obito over there does pottery. Don’t talk to him, he’s kind of weird. I know a bit about swordsmithing, but not nearly as much as others. My other cousin Shisui makes a fantastically thin, but sturdy blade. Every time we bring his knives to the market they get snatched up quickly for a high price. But he’s weird too.” Even if his tone was exasperated, Sakura still smiled hearing the affection he had for his family and their practice.
“There are so many of you…” Sakura said wistfully. She had always thought of her family as being big, but now she missed their familiar comfort. The Uchihas were truly a clan. They walked further into the cluster of buildings; Sakura noticed Sasuke had slowed his pace to allow her a moment to really look at their surroundings.
“And when are we going to see some more Uchiha babies running around here?” an elderly woman asked kindly as they walked past, taking a break from sweeping to smile at the married couple. Despite her good intentions, the young couple winced.
“When the time is right,” Sasuke said evenly. He nodded at her again as they passed, grabbing Sakura’s hand so she wouldn’t get caught up in an unnecessary conversation. Besides, it was getting late and it was time to return. He didn’t let go until they reached the wide road to the house.
Sakura was glad to finally get some insight on the Uchiha clan, but the knowledge of it all weighed heavily on her shoulders. She looked forward to taking a bath at home.
.
The old woman’s words echoed in his mind. He knew they were expected to have children eventually, but he tried to push that thought away as soon as it threatened to crop up. The thought of Sakura pregnant with his child made his neck prickle with heat. He stood by his words: when the time was right, they would bring a child into the world. But that time was not now, not yet. He felt a little better after making himself some tea. It was time for bed, the day had been long.
Sasuke swung the door to their bedroom open without a thought, only to be faced with the creamy expanse of Sakura’s back as she finished getting dressed. The skin there looked pale, smooth, and soft, unmarred by the harsh touch of the sun. “Why didn’t you tell me you were changing?” Sasuke bit out more harshly than intended, more embarrassed than mad. He closed the door behind him but turned to face the side wall after entering.
“Do I need your permission to do everything?” Sakura asked sharply.
“Sakura, it’s not like that —”
“I know.” As she adjusted her clothes, she sighed, “It’s just that..we are married.”
“I know.”

Sakura Haruno Fanfic Rec
Fanfics where Sakura Haruno actually gets some character development and her strength is acknowledged. Also, where she’s the main focus.
Hoshigaki by writer168
Rated: Mature
When Sakura was three, her father told her he was a criminal. When she was seven, the last thing she saw of him was the sword on his back. When she was eight, she had a friend named Kiba. When they were twelve, they met Shino.
And when they were genin, they began to fight for the truth because they could no longer fight for the sake of Konoha.
My Comments: This is part of a series that isn’t complete yet, but at least the first book is. But let me just say this series does a fantastic job when it comes to world building and their characters are so fleshed out. The author does not shy away from hurting the characters, but the recovery is amazing. In this fanfic Sakura actually has friends unlike whatever was happening with canon. She also has a teacher that cares for her and is willing to help her become strong.
Pulling My Weight by itsthechocopuff (WIP)
Rated: Teen
During their mission to Wave, Sakura realises how behind she is in her training and decides to do something about it. She vows to become a shinobi her Village and her teammates can respect and depend on. But Sakura has always been a paper-ninja, so her first stop for inspiration is the library where she finds unexpected help in the form of one very bored tokujo who quickly goes on to become an integral part of her life. Soon, despite the neglect of her sensei and all odds seemingly against her, Sakura's destiny begins to change.
My Comments: This has been my favorite strong!Sakura fanfic for the longest time. I love how natural the progression of Sakura becoming a bamf is. I also love how everyone in the fanfic is forced to acknowledge it no matter how they may feel about her. Sakura just screams power in this. Also, the author develops all the characters really well and I will often forget their ocs aren’t actually canon characters. There’s just so many good things about this fanfic and you should totally read it.
Into the Water by BasicallyAnIdiot
Rated: General
Sakura had always loved the water.
My Comments: This fanfic stays true to Sakura’s character and I love it. Sakura seeks out knowledge and mentors to become strong and is constantly improving. The writing is amazing and I have read this fanfic multiple times because it’s so good.
ewige dunkelheit by amako
Rated: Teen
"The war reduced the civilian population by almost two third,” she says, and it sounds like she's repeating something. “Civilians are necessary to vary the gene pool, otherwise children will be weak. It makes sense."
"I'm clanless, you know. It makes sense."
My Comments: Girls supporting girls! Girls supporting girls! There’s just so much to love about this fanfic, especially how the girls don’t settle. They set out to get things done and they do! Amazing read.
A Quick Trip by Dovey
Rated: General
in which sakura spends maybe five minutes in the future and decides to get a jumpstart on that whole "independant woman who can shatter the earth with her fists" thing, and team seven is left trying to keep up.
My Comments: Dovey has written so many good fanfics that focus on Sakura and becoming strong. You should read all of them. Seriously. But I’m recommending this one specifically because it’s hilarious and Sakura is like a tornado or something. She just comes in and leaves everyone so confused.
Kill Your Heroes by TheLightAtLastAndAlways (WIP)
Rated: Teen
It's time to stop waiting for other people to save you. A story about fear, resilience, and Sakura.
My Comments: The emotions in this fanfic are so raw. The fear Sakura experiences is so tangible and writing emotions should be this author’s speciality. I love how resourceful Sakura is in this fanfic and how practical she becomes due to all these horrible things she experiences. Plus, Kakashi is an actual teacher in this.
Sing as their bones go marching in again by felinedetached
Rated: Teen
Instead, it goes like this: Haruno Sakura is the daughter of two civilians, from civilian families. She is nothing and no one—smart, yes, top kunoichi, yes, but she will never be on par with clan kids. She is teammates to an orphan powerhouse from a dead clan and the last remaining Uchiha.
Haruno Sakura is nothing and nobody, but she breathes and grows and thrives and the forest thrives with her.
(She opens her eyes to wood, grown from nothing, and Hatake Kakashi stares in disbelief at the tree where his student used to be.)
Or, Haruno Sakura should have had the goddamn Mokuton and this author is mad.
My Comments: Sakura gets the love and support she deserves and is allowed to thrive. She’s allowed to be dangerous and reckless like the boys and I just think that’s neat. I also love the writing.
To Begin Is Also To End by Nine_Stoic_Crayolas (WIP)
Rated: Mature
Sai lays there, unmoving, and Haruno Sakura does not forgive them for it.
My Comments: The style of writing is very unique I think. I wouldn’t be able to explain it very well, so check it out for yourself. But this story lets Sakura be angry at the world and gives her a complex backstory. She even has a life outside of Team Seven. I honestly have a lot more good things to say about this, but I don’t want to spoil. Should definitely read, though.
Satori (Between the Lines) by jaylene (WIP)
Rated: General
While attending the Academy, Sakura's field experience assignment with the Konohagakure Intelligence Division ends up being more valuable than she'd ever guess.
My Comments: Sakura makes connections and her talent is acknowledged at a young age. This story does an excellent job at world building when it comes to politics, clans, and other such things. So, just amazing in general. Sakura also gets to have strong friendships that actually make sense! I definitely reccomend.
Early Summer Rain by orlha
Rated: Mature
Having parents doesn't always mean it's a good thing and just because scars can't be seen doesn't mean they don't exist. The Chuunin Exams leaves Sakura an orphan and she doesn't cry.
My Comments: Sakura gets a sad backstory just like the rest of Team Seven. Also, Kakashi acts like a teacher and actually cares about Sakura. This story does a good job of building Sakura up while providing a good amount of conflict. A well written story that you should absolutely read.
Sasuke is a Moron by Natarie
Rated: Teen
It started as many things are prone to: With a bet and the Akatsuki. Women are always right. Therefore, whatever happened, it was all his fault. Longshot/Oneshot Utter Crack
My Comments: This story pokes fun at Sasuke (but he definitely deserves it) and it is just hilarious in general. I love how Sakura goes about winning her bet and the Akatsuki’s reactions. The writing is well done, though. Read if you want a laugh.

This is going to be my feelings/opinions towards all of the main characters in Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc. This is directly related to my interpretation of events in the series! If you disagree with my thoughts/feelings that’s totally cool but this isn’t meant to be a debate!
A lot has been going on right now and I don’t have the energy to do much digital art right now, so I figured I’d just open up a little more about one of my favorite series! Maybe I’ll do my opinions on characters for the other games next.
** This post will contain information that will spoil the series for you, so continue at your own risk**
Makoto Naegi:
Honestly I really like Makoto. He is really average but honestly I think that’s what makes him so appealing. Not only that, but he comes off with a type of charisma that only “average” people can pull off. He has a base knowledge on a variety of subjects that allows him to talk to the other students. That and I find the concept of his “luck” very interesting. Also, side note, but that sprite of him focusing with his finger under his chin is probably one of my most favorite DR sprites ever. It’s just so cute! (I might redraw it someday hehe)
10/10
Aoi Asahina:
While I adore Hina, I really wish that they would have made her more than just a ditzy character who was obsessed with donuts in this game. I loved her energy though! Her interactions with everyone always made me smile. My appreciation for her character just increased exponentially after watching the Despair Arc of Danganronpa 3. All in all I’m super glad that her character survived in THH.
8/10
Byakuya Togami:
Honestly, I have mixed feelings about Byakuya. I think he’s a great antagonistic character, truly, but beyond that I’m not sure. I definitely think that his character is humbled throughout the course of the game, and in later games/animes he seems a lot less asshole-ish, but I’m not sure if I like him or hate him. I guess that just goes to show just how great he is as an antagonist. One thing I thought was hilarious though was how he casually admitted to being a true-crime nerd. I’m really glad he survived because I think his “talent” was really important for the Future Foundation.
6/10
Celestia Ludenberg:
Okay so real talk, I used to be a huge Celestia fan when I first stumbled across the series. But now, I don’t really like her character all that much. I think that out of all of the killers in THH her motive was the most shallow and that really is terrible considering how much potential she had. Her disconnect with her true identity could have made for an interesting character arc. And I really hate how they gave her literally the most complicated murder scheme when it would make sense for her to take a little risk as possible. Her character design is really cute though.
5/10
Chihiro Fujisaki:
I think Chihro’s death was one of the hardest for me in the game. I played through all of his freetime events and was super attached to him (I know, a horrible idea in a game like DR), and as soon as he died I was just in shock. One thing I love about how they portrayed his character was truly allowing the brilliance of Chihiro shine through even after his death. He created the AI that not only helped aid in their escape, but ultimately saved Makoto's life. I also really liked the juxtaposition of Chihiro and Mondo (the seemingly weaker one ultimately being stronger after all). All in all, Chihiro is a great character.
10/10
Hifumi Yamada:
I’m not really a fan of Hifumi, but I definitely think he gets wayy too much hate or just gets overlooked completely. I think that the creators leaned a bit too far into the stereotypes for him, and that made him come off as stiff and just… there. I knew from the very beginning that he wouldn’t survive, and honestly he’s the only character I had that feeling with (minus Leon). There are some quirks about him that I like, though, like how he never fails to refer to the others politely.
4/10
Kiyotaka Ishimaru:
So I originally found Taka annoying but after playing THH again he became one of my favorite characters. I find his enthusiasm adorable and his free time events boosted my admiration of him. He’s the only Ultimate that makes a conscious effort to prove himself and not rely on his prodigy-type status. And his relationship with Mondo, albeit short-lived, was so pure. It was so obvious to me that he was happy to have a friend (because Mondo is the first friend he’s ever had), and having that suddenly ripped away and listening to his desperation at the end of chapter 2 made me sob.
10/10
Kyoko Kirigiri:
Kiri’s background made me feel really sad for her. I first thought she was just the aloof, cold, smart type that was a bit snobbish. But then you realize that she’s been raised to not be in the spotlight, to work alone and without credit behind the scenes. Detective work is basically her birthright and she’s clung to that like a vice. Her character development throughout the game was really nice, and I think her and Makoto are super cute for each other. The side plot with her and her dad in DR3 made me really sad, too. I really liked overall that she was unapologetically holding true to her beliefs, even if it made her come off as cold. She was a solid, strong female character.
8/10
Leon Kuwata:
It was super obvious from the beginning that Leon was gonna die. There was 0 attachment to his character for me and he just came off as just...kinda there. I don’t really have much to say about him, other than that I’m not a fan.
1/10
Mondo Owada:
Mondo was such a big sweetheart in his freetime events. I thought his character was really well rounded and I was so sad that he ended up killing Chihiro. Despite that, I thought it worked really well for the story and played off of both of their weaknesses. Again I really loved his friendship with Taka, and having it formed and ended so quickly surprisingly hurt.
8/10
Sakura Oogami:
Honestly I didn’t like how they made her character the spy, because it seemed ridiculously out of character for her. Honestly I think this would be something better suited to Celeste, as she would view it as a way to increase her chances of living if she’s in “kahoots” with him. I dunno, I think the spy thing was unnecessary anyways. I loved her character though and her friendship with Hina was super cute. I also loved how they mentioned that she wanted to embrace her femininity while also not wanting to give up being the strongest person in the world.
7/10
Sayaka Maizono:
Honestly even though I’m not the biggest fan of Sayaka I really like the role she played at the beginning and I think they played it off perfectly. Her desperation fueled by the fear and harsh reality that comes along show business and easily being forgotten really works in the narrative. She seemed like a well-rounded character but I think that if she had lasted past chapter 1 I would have liked her less. All in all her character did a great job of kicking off everything.
6/10
 Toko Fukawa:
I hate how they portrayed her character in THH, but her obsessive and odd behavior (outside of her split personality) is easily explained by her traumatic past. She obviously has a warped sense of what “love” is, and that plus her intense delusions turned into obsession for Byakuya. I started loving her character a lot more in UDG, when she started becoming more well rounded and open around Komaru.
Also, I loved Genocider Syo’s personality. While I obviously don’t condone serial murders, I think that her character is extremely interesting. She doesn’t try and condone her own actions, admitting there is no rhyme or reason. Plus I think it’s really interesting that she considers herself a “professional” and is incredibly particular about the details.
Overall 6/10 in THH
Yasuhiro Hagakure:
I feel like Hiro gets a lot of shit as a character because they think he doesn’t contribute anything. I think he adds a lot of much-needed comic relief. Also I think that everyone glosses over the fact that once Taka goes silent he actually tries to encourage him to speak up again. And then tries to do his part and keep everyone together and upbeat. I really think that Hiro is a fun character who deserves more love, even though I can’t say he’s one of my favorites.
7/10
Mukuro Ikusaba:
I wish Mukuro’s personality would have been able to actually show through in the game. The only glimpse we really see of it is in the bonus school mode while she is still posing as Junko. I wish in the anime they’d have harped less on her odd obsession with Junko and focused more on her internal struggle. I think her character has potential but I can’t say I was particularly attached to her (I suppose that was kind of the point, though).
4/10
Junko Enoshima:
Junko is probably one of the most well-written villains I have ever seen in a series. At first I thought it didn’t make sense, and was confused how one person could have so much influence on a mass amount of people. Then it was revealed in later installments that Ultimate Fashionista was not her real talent, just a cover she forged for herself to help her blend in to the school. Her real ultimate talent as the Ultimate Analyst allowed her to predict people’s actions and more importantly, their reactions. Her innate ability and incurable boredom made her seek out something unpredictable: despair and chaos. I think what made me love her as a villain was the line “You can’t argue with me, because there's no reason for anything that I do.”
As a villain I give her 15/10. If I were to rank her as a person? -11037/10
Overall Opinion:
I really find most of the characters charming but it’s super obvious when comparing this game to the others that these characters were not as fleshed out as characters in other games. I found it hard to be super attached to most of them and felt that some of their actions were really uncharacteristic. However I really do like the characters and what they add to the story, even if some of it doesn’t add up completely. I’m the least attached to these characters out of all of the characters in the DR series, although there are obviously some exceptions. I think there couldn’t have been a better opening cast of characters.

Chapter One: Meeting Yugi and the Gang [Seto Kaiba]
"Ashy-boo!" Rosalie, or Rose, cooed. Gently shaking her brother awake. "It's time for school."
"Five more minutes, sis," Ashworth, or Ash, mumbled. Burying his head further into the pillow.
"Get up now or I WILL use the ice water," she said. Then pushed him out of the futon with a tiny giggle.
He landed with a soft 'thud' on the floor. As quickly as he fell, he got right back up.
"What was that for, Rose?!" He yelled. Clearly he was extremely annoyed. A natural reaction from him.
She gave him the most innocent smile. Time was good to her. Her baby fat was gone, not a pimple in sight, and she had her own confidence. She wore her own style and never cared about what people say about her.
"I did nothing of that sort," she responded, fighting hard to keep the smirk off her face.
"You pushed me out of our bed!" He yelled, sulking slightly.
"It was the only way to keep our bed from getting wet," she pointed out before going into the kitchen to make breakfast. "Omelets, bacon, and sausage sound good?" She asked him from the kitchen.
"Alright!" He said, going for the bathroom. "Green peppers, onions, and bacon in my omelet, please?"
She did his request without a word of protest.
When he got out of the shower, and she was done cooking breakfast, she set his paper plate and plastic fork at his spot on the dining room table.
"Bon appetit!" She told , when he came into the dining room.
He was wearing his school uniform. Which was a red shirt and pants. His collar was buttoned up all the way, like it's supposed to be. And his collar is white.
"You look so cute!" She gushed, walking over to him. Then gave him a big hug.
His face looked like his uniform. "Sh-shut up," he mumbled, wiggling out of her arms.
"Eat your breakfast while I change into my uniform," she instructed, heading for the bathroom. For she had already ate.
He began to eat his omelet and drink his orange juice. After he was done, he threw his trash in the garbage.
One she was done changing, she scowled at her reflection.
Eventually she left the bathroom, grabbing her backpack on the way. She has to wear a big pink bow on her neck, a pink blouse, and a blue skirt. A SHORT skirt, too.
"Ready, bro?" She asked, grabbing her house keys. There was only one key and she only lets him have them when he's planning on coming home late.
"Yep" was his reply, doing the same. Except minus picking up the key.
She took his hand, kissing his forehead, in a motherly way, and left the apartment, with him in tow. Looking the door before they headed out. For their new schools, Domino Middle (Ash) and High (Rose).
After dropping her brother off, she began to walk down the street.
A block away, she thought, giggling. Totally loving the school!
"Hey!" cried a young man's voice behind. He sounded like he's from Brooklyn, New York.
She turned around to face a shaggy, dirty blond-haired boy. Whom had hazel eyes, as well.
"You new?" He asked, grinning at her. "Domino High?"
"I am, actually," she said, still curious.
"I'm Joey," he said, a bit flirtatiously. "Joey Wheeler."
She smiled, ignoring the come ons, and held out her hand for him. "I am Rosalie," she answered, giggling. "Most people call me Rose, though."
Joey took her hand and kissed her knuckled. "Pleased to meet ya."
She rolled her eyes, walking next to him. "What's the school like?" She asked.
"Annoyin' staff membas and classmates," he responded, laughing at the end. "But my friends aren't annoyin'. Moneybags thinks othawise."
"Who's 'moneybags'?" She asked, unfamiliar with the term.
"Seto Kaiba," he answered, looking up. Spotting a black tinted limo outside the school gates, he began to snarl. "Speak of da devil..."
She looked confused but, nonetheless, watched the driver open up the back door.
Out came a brunet haired boy. She couldn't see what he looked like.
Until he turned in their direction, icy blue eyes on Joey.
He's gorgeous. She thought, her breath escaping her lungs. But why is he angry?
"I see you finally found a bitch (A/N: He meant a female dog)," the brunet said, smirking.
"I'm not a damn mutt," Joey said, while Rose responded "I'm not anyone's bitch!"
After she said that, she walked up to the brunet and punched him in the jaw. Using as much force as she can.
"What you get for calling an innocent girl a bitch," she remarked, smirking.
The brunet was on the ground, trying to recover from the shock. He was holding his jaw, looking up at the new girl.
She shot him a cold glare, flipping her hair over her shoulder while she walked through the gate.
Joey was smirking at Seto. "She's amazing!" He cried, raising his hands in the air. Then followed her.
Rose had a big smirk on her face when Joey finally caught up with her.
"That was AWESOME!" He cried again, looking at her with bright, excited eyes.
"He deserved it," she said. "He had no right to call me a 'bitch.' When I did nothing to that motherfucker."
Seto was still on the ground, in complete shock. "I can't believe that she did that," he whispered. "That peasant punched me..."
Then the bell rang. He quickly stood up and ran to his home room.
Rose was sitting next to Seto's seat, staring out the window.
When Seto was nearing the room, he slowed down and fixed his uniform. He collected himself before opening the door.
"Glad you could make it, Mr. Kaiba," Mr. Watts said, marking him tardy on the seating chart.
When the brunet passed by the substitute, he handed the student a detention slip.
"So, class," Mr. Watts said, looking at the seating chart. "We have a new student today. Ms. Watson?" His hand was pointed in Rose's direction. "Please come up and introduce yourself."
Rose, ignoring Seto's gawking, stood up gracefully with a smile and headed for the front of the room. Standing in front of the class, she bowed. "I'm Rosalie Ashlen Watson," she said. "I would rather be called 'Rose.' And I would be happy to answer any question for the next -" she glanced at her watch, "- five minutes."
A bunch of hands shot up in the air.
Rose picked one kid with jet black hair and red eyes. "Are you single?" He asked.
"Yes" came her response.
"Do you have any siblings?" "A little brother."
"What's his name?" "Ashworth."
"How old are you?" "Sixteen."
"Didn't you like your old school?" "Sure."
"Why did you move?" "Long story."
"Do you have time to tell it?"
"Meet me outside by the sakura tree and I might tell it."
"What're your hobbies?" "Reading, writing, drawing, and playing music."
"Where -" The next girl was going to ask when Rose interrupted her.
"Sorry," she smiled apologetically to the class. "The five minutes are up." She went back to her seat, ignoring Seto's stares, again.
She wasn't afraid to tell everyone about herself. Seto thought, quite curious about her. She has a nice personality. Tall, but not as tall as me. Confident in herself. Nice because she didn't mind opening herself up to complete strangers. Then he caught himself. What am I thinking!? I could not possibly be falling for this chick! The chick who punched me in the jaw! Scoffing to himself, he shut his brain down and focused on his school work. All thoughts of Rose flew out the window.
Rose was paying attention but was staring out the window. Staring out at the beautiful scenery. Her eyes lit up at the idea, turning to her backpack to take out her sketch pad to capture the landscape outside.
Mr. Watts didn't know that she was drawing. He was just doing the lesson that the original teacher left.
Seto, however, was watching Rose draw. He watched her hand move, very carefully, to make the perfect strokes.
Eventually, she stopped and turned to him. Very angrily.
"What do you want, Mr. Kaiba?" She hissed, wanting him to stop the stares. Then continued to draw.
"You're a good artist, Rose," he whispered.
"You, sir," she said, stopping her artwork and looked at him dead in the eyes. "May call me 'Watson.' Just like I'll call you 'Kaiba'."
Seto huffed in annoyance. "I'll call you whatever I want to call you."
She rose her hand for the teacher.
Mt. Watts turned around, calling on her. "Yes, Ms. Watson?" He asked.
"May I be excused to go to the restroom?" She asked, giving the sub a sweet and innocent smile.
"Of course," he said. Quite easily falling for her charm.
She, again, stood up with grace and elegance. "Thank you," she said, politely.
Walking past the teacher and grabbed the bathroom pass before she left.
She did her thing, handing the pass back to the teacher. Giving him a kind smile, she went back to her seat.
Then continued to draw.
When the bell rang, Joey was right by her side. "Let's go outside," her suggested. "We can eat by the the trees and I can introduce you to my friends."
"Maybe she wants to hang out with meet, mutt," Seto piped up. Not knowing what compelled him to say something like that. But he's not going to back down from the challenge. The challenge to winning her over.
Rose shot a glare in his direction. "And maybe I don't want to," she hissed. "I don't like to hang around rich, spoiled, assholes. "She grabbed her stuff, leaving the building with Joey leading the way to his friends. She met Atem, Yugi, Tristan, Tea, Duke, Bakura, and Ryou. They happily accepted her into the group, although a few were flirting with her. She just dodged them.
Seto watched her for a few minutes. Wanting to see how she interacted with the "geek squad," as he called them. She was genuinely happy with her new friends. Goofing off, hitting one of the boys for flirting with her (Joey, Tristan, and Duke mostly), and talking about Duel Monsters.
"My favorite card is Neo-Daedalus," she said. Then did something amazing. She took out her deck, laid them on the ground. "Pick one and I'll pick after you."
They all obeyed, picking one card from her deck.
"Everyone picked one?" She asked them.
A chorus of "yeah's" were received.
"My turn." She picked a card out and smiled at them. "Reveal your cards first."
All of them laid their cards on the ground. Bakura had Shark Stickers (ATK 200/ DEF 1000). Ryou and Tristan got A Legendary Ocean (Spell/Field). Tea got Tornado Wall (Continuous Trap). Joey got Mermaid Knight (ATK 1500/ DEF 700). Duke got Drill Barnacle (ATK 300/ DEF 0). Yugi got Star Boy (ATK 550/DEF 500). Atem, or Yami, got Levia-Dragon—Daedalus (ATK 2600/DEF 1500).
"What da/the hell?!" Joey and Bakura screamed.
Ryou slapped Bakura for his language. Which got an "ow" from the former thief.
While Ryou, Tristan, and Tea looked like they had no problem with their cards.
Duke was staring at his card like "Is this thing for real?"
Yugi was staring at his card like it was adorable, even though the monster has one eye.
Atem was proud of himself for picking the strongest monster. "What did you pick?" He asked the blonde. Then a chorus of agreements followed after his question.
She just put her card down when they crowded around her. Her card was Ocean Dragon Lord—Neo-Daedalus (ATK 2900/DEF 1600).
"Wow" came the response of her new friends.
"Dat's one strong monsta," Joey complimented.
"Thanks," she said with a smile. "Want to hear the best part?"
"What's that?" Ryou asked, completely interested.
"I can see monsters," she admitted. Almost sheepishly. "Or, as they call themselves, Duel Spirits."
"What's mine?" Ryou asked.
"Your's Change of Heart," she answered.
"Mine?" Bakura questioned.
"Digibound," was her answer. Then shuddered upon hearing his name.
"What about me?!" Joey excitedly asked.
"Akai," she said. When he gave her a confused look, she elaborated. "Your Red Eyes."
"Oh!" He said. Looking away while he blushed a light pink.
"Mine?!" Yugi and Atem asked at the same time. They looked at each other and laughed.
"Mahaado and Mana," she said, turning to each male when she gave the names. Mana for Yugi and Mahaado for Atem. "The Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl." She smiled at them both after telling them.
They high-fived each other. While Yugi blushed a light pink.
"Tristan's is Cyber Commander," she continued. "Tea's is Magician of Faith."
The two brunets accepted this with a smile.
Then they began to talk amongst themselves.
Seto stopped listening, to them and began to think.
When the bell rang, everyone got up to head back to class.
Rose was talking to Yugi and Atem, blushing whenever the ex-Pharaoh complimented her.
Seto walked a little ways behind them
Rose waved bye after she was at her locker. Opening it up to switch out her books.
Seto's hand slammed next to her head, smirking at her. "Are you trying to make me jealous?" He huskily said in her ear.
She turned around, looking not amused. "Are you trying to piss me off?" She countered.
He was a bit shocked, he never showed it. "No," he said, truthfully.
"Then fuck off," was her response as she pushed him to shut her locker. Walking a bit away before turning toward him. "You need an attitude adjustment. Then try your luck with me."
Seto was shocked to hear this, clearly showing it because she was smirking.
"Good luck," she answered as she walked into the room.
