#sakamoto days: an alternative transitional period

Whelp, fic is on Ao3 now. Here are the link and the official cover.

Biggest thing I have written so far, clocking in at 18,109 words (at time of writing. Currently it's at 110,868) and with the passion to match!

Big shoutout to @bokunocolor for the awesome coloring of the panel of Aoi With Glasses that inspired the whole idea of SAKAMOTO DAYS: An Alternative Transitional Period (or SD:aATP for short) and helped create the cover as a result, with me going for a Fashion Magazine look as I completed the shape and credits and whatnot. But yeah... sure was quite the new experience, having to go through a server full of beta readers for future-proofing and whatnot... still, it was hella fun!

Yeah, I ain't stopping. This bad boy is gonna be up to date as much as possible. Meaning I will be adapting as many chapters as I can, as best as I can.

Even if there's currently 185 canon manga chapters, with no signs of Suzuki-sensei stopping any time soon, Imma get there if I can. If the Loud House can have a fanfic bigger than the GODDAMN Bible, then I can have a fanfic the size of a Shonen Jump franchise!

So, now that this is done... time to go back to the kitchen. Mother has some PEAK to cook, after all.

P.S - I mayyyyyyy or may not be getting more covers made for when newer chapters show up... and I mayyyyyyy or may not plan to use them in PDF volumes of 6-7 chapters each like the canon manga... which mayyyyyy or may not be stored in a public Mediafire link or something similar... that all mayyyyyy be a possibility. :3

As usual, shout out to @bokunocolor for being goated with the colouring sauce, cause yeah, while it took a bit to write allat, I did manage to turn his colouring of the mid-air shooting Aoi into a more movie-poster-style cover to contrast the fashion magazine one for the volume before.

Am I getting Volume 2 on the Mediafire? Definitely, with me putting said Mediafire in a comment. Am i getting it printed like I did with the first 6 chapters that Volume 1 contained? Probably, once the salary arrives.

Might even do one of those 3-volumes-in-1 things that big mangas do sometimes. But only for me :3

Whelp, here's the official logo of the fic I have been cooking for 3 chapters now.

Thank god for the lil filter helping the unfortunate souls using this hellsite with light mode (me included).

But yeah, that whole Trans Aoi Sakamoto AU I suggested a long while ago? That's the fic for it, so far adapting the first 3 manga chapters, soon to be on Ao3... once the invitation arrives in my e-mail.

So I did some rookie panel colouring of sorts the past few weeks, inspired by @bokunocolor .

Needless to say, my inexperience, combined with my tools being reduced to just a phone with Ibis Paint X on it (not even the premium version, mind you) makes it all pale in comparison to BnC (shoutout to him and his kino art, BTW, especially if he happens to be reading this 😁 ) but it was still fun to try and replicate his rendition of Aoi w/Glasses via these things. And yes, the noodles' cup lid is gone in the coloring. Bit too indistinct in this particular cut

Yes, the base of it all is that one Todo panel from JJK. Yes, that is the shirt of Grandpa Max from Ben 10. Yes, this is technically a bit of a Franken-edit.

Still a good-ass edit though, you gotta admit.

Screw it, new PFP. Needed a bit of an update anyway.

Yeah, decided to renovate this now a bit more active blog a little. And hey, my brain is already on enough brainrot to make 2 chapters of the SakaDays Trans!Aoi AU I posted about a while ago in just 2 days. Might as well embrace it while I wait for the invitation to arrive.

Anyways, back to preparing Chapter 3 of Sakamoto Days: An Alternative Transitional Period for that one Discord server and one certain separate Tumblr colorist I use for beta readers. Once Ao3 lets me into its sacred abode, imma post the chapters there as well. Til then, here's the summary of the fic and setting as a bit of a teaser/appetiser.

Summary:

Taro Sakamoto was the most lethal and powerful hitman in the world of assassins, a boogeyman, a titan... and then he disappeared. She found her self, you see. Shame you can't just leave this world, as this familiar yet different story shows.

Yeah, it suddenly stopped being able to charge in the middle of the night. Needless to say, wasn't easy finding a phone repair shop without Google or any GPS. But yeah, turns out, using a phone while it's charging is uh... bad. Crazy, I know.

Chapter 29 of SD:aATP is up on Ao3! And is a bit shorter than usual cause my tummy still hurts :(

Thankfully I have begun recovery somewhat, so I feel less URGHHHHGGGGHHHHHH than before. But yeah, hopefully that alongside the delay isn't too much of an issue. Imma do my best to make sure the rest of the chapters are the usual size or so regardless.
