Hi there! (I run the ohohminho blog) i'd like to ask if there's some jdash interview or some analysis post of how he named his characters. I know some were named after famous people but I never saw infos on the others and I got curious. Also I only see those "infos" here in tumblr alone so I want to know where it all came from.

I'm not sure about links to interviews, but I remember there was an edit that got reposted to twitter at one point, and Aml retweeted it and asked James if there was any truth behind the names, and he said yeah (apart from the Minho one because that one was a joke). I don't know where to find the post, but I can tell you where all the confirmed names came from instead: 

Thomas - Thomas Edison

Teresa - Mother Teresa

Chuck - Charles Darwin

Newt - Isaac Newton

Alby - Albert Einstein 

Minho - A scientist in the future that doesn't exist yet. More info on that from Jdash here.

Gally - Galileo Galilei

Frypan/Siggy - Sigmund Freud (Frypan's 'real' name is Siggy, Dashner forgot to keep that in his final draft. Frypan is his nickname because he is a cook.)

There's also theories I've seen in the fandom as to why some of the names may have been chosen: 

Thomas' is mentioned IC at the end of TKO: "You know who invented those things (lightbulbs), right? Maybe we should call this one Thomas.", though from James' perspective it might be something to do with Thomas being some kind of bright spark/light (hope) in a bleak situation etc. 

Chuck may be named after Charles Darwin because Darwin had a lot of contributions to the theory of evolution, and the whole 'Survival of the Fittest' idea that goes with it. Apparently Chuck did not fit that criteria. 

Isaac Newton, known for his theories about gravity. Newt, known for his testing of said theory. 

Albert Einstein, smart, wise, the kind of things a leader like Alby should have had the chance to spend more time being. 

Here's also a bunch of other names that are assumed because they're pretty obvious but haven't been confirmed (to my knowledge) but are on the Maze Runner Wikia:

Ben - Benjamin Franklin

Winston - Winston Churchill/Robert Winston

Zart - Mozart 

Jeff - Thomas Jefferson

Aris - Aristotle 

Clint - Bill Clinton

Harriet - Harriet Tubman

Also, while we're on the subject of names, in case you didn't know, Thomas' real name, before being given the name Thomas, was Stephen.

Hello, I'm using your graity hiatus theme. This is already my primary blog itself. I'm wondering why won't the blogroll tab show. I didn't make changes to the code. And reading your guide, there doesn't seem to be any instructions for blogroll. All I know is that primary blogs already gets blogroll. Hope you can help! Sorry for the trouble.

Ah I figured it out! lol 

So apparently I forgot a bit of code around the blogroll section so you can either replace the code between

START OF BLOGROLL and END OF BLOGROLL

with:

{block:Following}

{block:Followed}

{FollowedName}

{/block:Followed}

BLOGROLL

{/block:Following}

or just add {block:Following} and {/block:Following} 

where it is around the code…

Hi there. I'm gonna ask again for the Gravity theme since I tried to add two more collapsible links but they can't be clicked. My mouse hovers at "movie links" but the one responding is "actual graphics" link. You can check my blog and see where I fucked up somewhere along the codes. I even tried making a new

thing but still not clickable. Please reply privately.

You did it correctly you just forgot to change the corresponding numbers to be different. (Not sure if I mentioned that in the tutorial but I'll recheck.) In any case if you look here:

so where it says id="01" and for="01" you'll need to change those. let me know if that doesn't make sense.
