Answering some tags for Saelor because I don't feel like doing much else soo. This post explains things currently, so if you'd like to make guesses to figure stuff out then don't read it!

Quite frankly I was looking for more weapons because only Poleax actually has one right now. Fabbri technically uses knives or daggers of some sort but I haven't found one to actually be the model of for him yet. So I was looking around for some weapons and came across the chemical class of blood agents. Seeing this, I thought "oh that would be very funny for a limeblood or a mutant to use as a weapon". I do still have to do some more research, but when it comes to things like "how efficient is it to put in a spray can?" we'll just say "efficient enough! ^^"
Blood agents are chemicals that affect the body by being absorbed by the blood, and tend to be either cyanide- or arsenic-based. They interrupt the body's ability to exchange oxygen and carbon dioxide, generally causing its victims to suffocate if they are exposed to a sufficient enough concentration. Arsenic-based blood agents probably have more damaging long-term effects, as they damage the blood cells themselves while cyanide-based agents interrupt the electron transfer chain that allows the oxygen/carbon dioxide exchange to happen. They are volatile and tend to either be inhaled or ingested to take effect. As weapons, they are usually spread as aerosols to be inhaled. "Saelor" is an anagram of "aerosol" with one of the o's removed. The cyanide-based agents can also be irritants, particularly of the eyes or respiratory tract.
Cyanogen [(CN)2] is a specific type of blood agent and happens to be 8 letters long. Saelor's horns are designed to resemble the chemical formula. In his earrings, there are two references to the structure. Cyanogen was initially used in a soap for photographers to remove silver stains from their hands in the 1850s, then it became an important part in the production of fertilizer. As a weapon, cyanogen can irritate the eyes and respiratory tract and under certain concentrations, can cause headaches, dizziness, nausea, or convulsions and, of course, death.
When to comes to the spray cans, they are aerosol cans filled with cyanogen disguised as regular spray paint cans (of which Saelor also uses, as vandalizing the Empire is a hobby and he needs a weapon to protect himself). I don't think cyanogen would make a good propelling agent for the can, but whatever. Additionally, vinyl arsine is an irritating liquid (the arsenic-based agents are generally nonirritating, but this one is!) (but I don't have much information on it yet) or hydrogen cyanide can be a liquid. As far as I can tell, these are also all flammable. Cyanogen produces the second hottest natural flame!
I haven't drawn Saelor in proper attire for handling these chemicals. While a full facepiece respirator is recommended, he also needs supplied air, which is something I have not drawn. Additionally, he should have minimal skin contact as possible, so the tank top would not cut it. When he's actually "on the job" he wears a boiler suit, gloves, close-toed shoes, the air-supplied full facepiece respirator, and maybe some kind of hat.
Cyanogen radical has been found in the trails of a few comets, such as Halley's Comet. The "Devico" name comes from the comet 122P/de Vico. While 122P doesn't contain cyanogen radical, it has been lost several times so I thought that was interesting.
Saelor's strife specibus could either be aerosolkind or cankind, the latter of which I prefer because then he could use either the can itself or the contents imo. Being able to effectively hit people with a cylinder of aluminum would be useful as the volatile nature of the blood agents makes them less effective in open spaces, and also allows Saelor to do his work in lighter clothes. He makes tbe chemicals himself, though.
Currently he's the only named character in his little au verse or whatever. He is an alphaverse/ancestor character, and the trolls that like him prefer to give him the title of The Cometrix while the Empire calls him The Cyanogen. I'll figure the specifics and how that works later.

I've said his kind abstratus is cankind and he prefers to use his aerosols as a weapon, but having a secondary weapon that ties back to other aesthetic themes can't hurt imo. And I'm indecisive. I don't imagine the weapon to be that big, but whether or not he stores it on his person at all times would depend on the size
