Long Time No See :D !

So... It has honestly been a While(tm), heeheeh :’D! Update time!! Between serious physical health problems, tons of anxiety, and my art uni’s final semester, I didn’t have quite the time to be on here and update as much :’3!! So, ofc, during these couple of months... My “fluffy babies” collection has grown, and is still growing! Here are my most recent buys :’3! ... Since a few months ago, at least! Pic 1 and 2; Fluff Puppy, an antique Silver Platinum fo.x. Pic 3; random bits of fur and tail parts, bought close to my place :’33! They are ordered from the most coarse-feeling, to the softest!! In order, they are; rin.gt.ail racco.on, blonde coyo.te or racco.on (?), two fo.xes, aaaand the last one is either ly.nx or rab.bit... Extra soft tho! Pic 4 and 5; Moon (or Moon-Tongue), a very old Lavender Pastel fo.x :’D! With a very silver / pale tail! I’ve also managed to try my hands at skinning (and tentatively) tanning a taxidermy meat rab.bit pelt (thx to a friend who raises and breeds such critters). However, nothing went my way after I got the pelt skinned, sadly... I couldn’t “turn” the ears that well, plus the thoughts of debone-ing the four paws made me panic. Oof. I don’t want to write down a looong explanation; but long story short, I have decided to take a break from doing complex VC myself, due to health reasons and also so that I can first learn to cope with my chronic anxiety better (that anxiety disorder, being what is stopping my enjoyment of VC as a whole, rn). Sucks a lot, as VC is my biggest Special Interest... But anxiety won that one, for now. I shall be back with some full-blown strength soon, however :’))! Once my physical ailment is dealt with, and once I graduate... I should be able to fully  invest my time in VC, again :’D! ---- Speaking of, I have this long-lasting idea of creating a “Museum of Ranch Fo.xes”, probably an online website, where there would be high-res IRL pictures of all (or as many as possible?) ranch fo.x morphs + anatomical details, all of the morphs’ creations and genetical bg, aaand the history of ranch fo.xes as a whole? Of course, my first idea was to have a physical museum for this, buuut renting space in a building somewhere might be too expensive (or complex) for me to handle :’D ... So!! This is a call, btw!! If anyone wants to help me out - either by taking high-resolution pictures, or writing genetical explanations, of the Ranch Fo.xes morphs that you own - oooor by teaching me how to build a simple (but nice!) website (since I know nothing about coding :’D)... Well, hmu :’)) ! ----

2 Years Later…

Some musings of where my characters will be at the time of Splatoon 2. As with anything I write I might change this later. There aren’t any spoilers for the game in here so don’t worry.

Team Amethyst Lightning - The team has been recently disbanded. Many of the members desired to move on or focus on their studies. The team departed on good terms and are still very close.

Digit - Digit has begun to study as something of a Turf Wars teacher. They want to teach kids the finer points of battling and also some leadership skills. Digit continues to Turf as a freelancer, expanding their weapon set to several different types and is becoming skilled with many weapons, though masters none. They are now mostly out about being agendered, and have grown comfortable enough with their body to not always wear bulky clothing. They do still wear that kind of thing from time to time though.

Cammy - Cammy’s moved on to learning to become a teacher herself, but more for general education for elementary school kids. She still has her big hat collection, but her large hat that she loved so much became severely damaged and has had to be patched up multiple times. She still loves what remains all the same. She focuses on her studies but sometimes joins Digit in their turfing.

Vlad - Vlad has given up on turfing completely. He’s focused completely on his studies in business and the culinary arts. He wants to run his own restaurant someday and he sadly has no time for running around with an Octobrush anymore. He tried to focus on this, and on his relationships. Bonding even stronger with Digit….and bringing Cammy into the mix. He got Cammy and Digit to realize their feelings for each other, and in the process, he and Cammy fell for each other as well. The three are now living happily together in an apartment (on his family’s money for now) while going to school.

Natasha - Though she admitted that she loved turfing with her little bro, Cammy and Digit, Natasha had her sights set higher. There was another team recruiting that was shooting for S+ and she finally had the skill to make it. It was the final straw that caused the team to break up and Tasha felt terrible about it. But after working it out with the others, she left with everyone’s blessing. She is now playing for another team, and has helped them reach rank S+ and competing with them against the best of Inkopolis.

Team Pink Nightmares - All that remains in this team are Zaik and Snow. With even Zaik only remaining temporarily. In the future, they will find new leadership under Snow.

Zaik - Zaik still turfs a lot, but does so to test his new weapon modifications. He’s finally been certified to do so, and has a partial stake in a special “X” league that uses weapon types not normally suited for Turf Wars. He remains on Pink Nightmares only so he can teach Snow the ropes of leadership. He’s also been spotted with a specific girl on frequent occasions. Though he still tends to sleep around.

Snow - Snow has been able to mature, and with the help of his family and a good therapist, is getting his anger under control. He’s also realized in this time that he’s asexual. Something that, with a small bit of surprise, his brother Zaik has been helping him adjust to. Snow has a lot of friends supporting him now and is very happy. He looks forward to leading Pink Nightmares as his brother did. For fun, and for crushing his enemies.

Konpei - She seems to have vanished as mysteriously as she came. No one is quite sure what happened. It happened around the time that Snow revealed that he was Ace. Though about a month after, rumors started arising that a strange girl matching her description showed up in another school, making all the boys there a tad nervous.

Tempest - Tempy managed to hone her rage and love of fighting into a knife’s edge. She became the most skilled of the team by far and being held back by Zaik’s old rules of not pushing to rank up started to get to her. She and Zaik ended up having an argument and she quit the team. They later made up and Zaik even spoke to a team he knew was looking for a new member. She was accepted on the spot. She’s now bashing in heads at the S+ ranks and couldn’t be happier.

Coral Shark Squadron - This team has had some pretty big changes in the past two years. Sylvester is still in charge, but there’s been some rearranging. Thankfully, all on good terms. They have filled in the gaps with Natasha and Tempest. With these new, tough members, they’ve finally reached the S+ ranking and are taking on the rest of Inkopolis.

Sylvester - In the past 2 years, Sylvester has loosened up considerably. He nearly had a mental breakdown at one point due to many stresses in his life. The team almost broke up completely and Sylv’s health became in danger. But through the support of his teammates, whom had all become his close friends, he was able to pull through. He still takes the game very seriously, but has tried to take a somewhat lighter approach. His girlfriend, Eris, won’t allow it any other way.

Eris - Eris is still the spunky and mischievous girl she always was. She’s learning to cope better with her gender dysphoria, though it still gets to her from time to time. In addition to being Sylvester’s second in command, she’s also started a small support group for other transgender inklings and octolings with the help of her father.

Raize - Raize eventually lost interest in actually participating in Turf Wars. It was becoming a strain while she was studying in more ways than one. She left the team officially, but offered to remain as something of a consultant for Sylvester. She continued to spectate the matches and help him with strategies. Her girlfriend, Tempest, now being a member of the team helps to motivate her. She continues her studies of various sciences, still not sure what to focus on for the future.

Devin - Devin spent much of his time on the team learning from Sylvester’s leadership. He always saw Sylv as something of a rival. Sylvester knew of this from the start, and hoped it would push Devin to greater things. Eventually he realized that he wanted to lead his own team. He brought this up with Sylv and they started training together until Devin was ready and had a team set up. Devin has since started up Team Amber Assault and has become a friendly rival with Sylvester.

The Blaster Rays - The Rays have disbanded. Evidence from an anonymous source revealed that the team’s leader, Manfred, had committed various crimes across Inkopolis and has been put into prison for many years. Albert and Jed both made themselves scarce after the incident and seemingly vanished off the grid. Meanwhile, Dilan has been secretly helping Eris with her support group while continuing to battle. Rumor has it he is trying to join Devin’s team.

Lime Lineup - TBD

Cerulean Gambit - Leadership of the team has bounced between Tasire and Anise a few times in the past few years but they are still kicking ass in S+ Rank.
