day of the dead is like the only holiday that hasn’t been ruined for me over the years by a certain (now uninvited and disowned) family member’s actions and just. the fact i can’t go home for it this year because of our rescue kitten is fucking me up real bad. i don’t think i realised how important this holiday was for me until now, it’s probably why going to the cemetery is always so calming for me. never felt this much homesickness before, i just really wish i could go home for it and it makes me so sad

#man…#i might just take a walk at a local cemetery idk #it’s the only holiday when the whole family from every part of the country came home #and even though my roommate said day of the dead isn’t that important to them she still wasn’t willing to stay here and look after the cat #and he’s too small and scared to bring home just yet #sadgirl hours honestly. me just want to go to cemetery:(#magpie talks will they shut up?#vent #personal
