"A bird species native to earth, now augmented through divine means into a parasitic form ideal for offense and only conscious when wielded. It's capillaries have now taken on an iron like hardness, extending outside of its flesh to form a hilt of sorts. When firmly grasped it extends barbed wire like tentacles that wrap around the forearm or any other readily available limb, piercing the host's flesh to siphon off blood and nutrients to stay alive. It's only other way of sustaining its distorted form is through it's sharp, branch like appendage, which when exposed to flesh, will absorb blood and circulate it trough its body much like a plant stem. requiring a near constant source of blood to stay awake and at maximum strength, it is generally deemed to dangerous for use by mortal beings and an immediate sign of danger if encountered even in a dormant state with no wielder nearby."

tried challenging myself by keeping all work on this prompted traditional (for the most part). am incredibly rusty but i had alot of fun messing with charcoal and gouache. felt nice not being on my pc for hours working on stuff to lmao. might expand on this concept some more in the future. shits neattttt
