you thought you saw the last of me, but here i am w/ my original baby. 😈 i revamped hyunmi. & despite that, i will be keeping all her threads (paras & texts) as she hasn’t changed much. that being said, if we plotted but have no thread, that connection has been dropped simply bc i do want to start fresh in certain aspects. — the first main difference is hyunmi’s heart issue. the problem has been fixed, altho, there have been concerns as of lately, which she refuses to acknowledge bc she’s scared of being pulled from ELEMENT. — and the second would be hyunmi’s family dynamics. her parents are somewhat present in her life. her mother, a famous fashion designer, is against & shames her being an idol, while her father is kinda “there”. — also she’s no longer lazy & is the typical hardworking, ambitious, driven, perfectionist capricorn. let me tell you kids in ballet class did not like her bc she was so bossy. LOL. but she still cannot cook. it’s a running gag i can’t drop, ok! — another running gag is her lack of eyesight, but she actually utilizes her glasses and contacts this time. tho, she probably glared @ you & pretended she was blind to avoid trouble. 💁🏻‍♀️ — regardless of how independent and serious hyunmi seems, she’s actually not that independent. her mother purposefully hindered her to prevent her from being strong enough to leave (& easier to puppet). hence, why she cannot cook, clean, etc. yet she was still tossed aside. 😒 strongly dislikes her mother. — so, yeah, hyunmi’s bratty disposition stems from always having everything done for her. in simpler terms, a spoiled brat, and that shows in how she handles certain situations or lack-there-of. — demanding of attention, since she was so used to her mother giving her just that. & she’s scared of being left behind but won’t actively stop anyone from doing so bc her pride is tremendous. confidence goals, tbh. chasing after anyone isn’t her thing. — likes to nag others to do chores & complains a lot but won’t actually clean the dorms & probably has only recently learned how to turn on a vacuum cleaner & do laundry. her half-siblings mockingly call her princess bc she was waited on. — should have half-siblings on her father’s side. older and younger ones. (connection, anyone? 👀👀) most likely they do not get along too, too well bc hyunmi is an illegitimate child. — back to her heart issue, it tends to flare up when she’s too passionate(?). whether it be joy, sadness or anger, her chest starts tightening & you can find her counting to ten to calm down. aloud, too. everywhere. — isn’t as rough as she used to be but isn’t demure, either. still feisty, headstrong and stubborn. a blue flame, really. hotter than the usual fire but seemingly cool; her temper can be really, really bad but she’s learnt to keep it in check for health reasons. — can come across glossy eyed & disinterested. bored & unenthusiastic. & she probably truly is. but mostly bc she was taught to act… confined(?). or if you’re a guy. 💁🏻‍♀️ — she’s bisexual but prefers girls over guys. she was sexually assaulted, so it takes a longer time for her to warm up to them. nor does she ever want to devote herself to them like her mother did. yet those who are her friends she appreciates & cherishes. — loves girls. all girls. girls for girls. girl power. a whole feminist. v flirtatious to her girl friends, often hugging & clinging onto those she trusts w/ her life. — but yeah, give her a casual girlfriend (a boyfriend will be cool, too), someone to have a little fun w/. ✨⭐️✨ hyunmi loves having time to herself (selfish selfcest), so she won’t invest in a relationship unless someone is down for a slow, slow burn. 👀👀👀 trust issues galore. — before the revamp, hyunmi used to use people & she might continue because it’s for the job. nothing against her targets, ofc, but she’s a career woman. it has to be done. (networking!) she befriends people w/ greedy intention (all business) but does genuinely consider them a buddy & won’t shit talk them. — still left BCE w/out telling anyone bc she her mother pulled her out. and hyunmi was too miserable in the hospital to reconnect. she was already starting to shut down before leaving bc of what the actor’s son did, then she collapsed not too long afterwards & rumours spread she was pregnant. she was too angry to clarify, too. — while training at BCE, tho, she was quite popular, finally doing something for herself & happy. she made friends easily. but gold star was another story. she just kinda burst in & snatched an ELEMENT position. rumours also said she was dropped from BCE bc of attitude issues. — ELEMENT is her family & no one messes w/ them; she’s fire, so she considers herself quite strong. some would think she’s disheartened & sad with what happened to her but she’s livid more than anything & she uses that as motivation. — goes from sweet to dry in 0.5 seconds, but that’s who she is. a friendly, sarcastic, narcissistic, dry cynic with astounding self-confidence, who loves those deserving fiercely & unconditionally but is rather methodical & business orientated, appearing cold & heartless.

hello! it’s ace again w/ my third child, kang ilwoo. also known as tokki from impulse. why tokki? just continue reading for fun facts! psa, he is nothing like hyunmi (my fake, semi-problematic child), nor is he like dean (my semi-alcoholic, partying yet a bit sad child). he is… the ray of light to hyunmi’s pitch black night and dean’s overcast, rainy day (whilst clubbing somewhere, drunk somewhere). enough about the other two, more about ilwoo down below! you can also find a link to his bio && plots there! scroll to the very bottom. c;

he is the youngest of five children && the only boy. you can say he’s spoiled af but he’s not. he’s only spoiled on the attention he gets from all four of his sisters. yes, four sisters. c:

his sisters also named him tokki bc of that face (yknow that face danik does.). && he chose it as his stage-name to honour them for believing in him. altho, some impulse members (coughpromptalertcough) may not like it. heck, other people may not like it (coughpromptcough). 

contrary to popular belief, ilwoo is very intelligent. book smart. common sense wise… not really. he attended hanyoung foreign language school bc it was the only way his strict parents would let him go to seoul. && he’s currently attending (when he can; he might be on leave atm) seoul national university, majoring in classical studies (greek gods).

he calls himself a country bumpkin for fun bc he’s used to the traditional, conservative lifestyle from his parents rather than the more modern life in seoul with his oldest sister. it’s hard for him to… fit in in some situations. he tried the whole seoul accent. nope!

the competition was the worst thing in his entire life bc he didn’t want to compete against friends. :’c he wanted everyone to debut together. ;   ; 

no hard feelings against origin; he’s genuinely happy for them && low-key likes the fact impulse isn’t as big bc that means being too busy for family (which he already is) but still wishes impulse gets bigger. a conflicted puppy- bunny. 

a very friendly guy. like very friendly. it might annoy some people (coughpromptcough), it might smitten them (coughpromptcough). he wants to be everyone’s buddy (yes, he is thirsty for friendship. give him friends!). 

bc his older sisters raised him, ilwoo thinks he knows girls (he doesn’t really) && tries to give relationship advice (TRIES). 

he is allergic to alcohol. dON’T GIVE HIM DRINKS bc the idiot may try to fight his allergy && could potentially end up in the hospital. low alcoholic drinks should be fine under constant supervision. someone, chaperon him, he’s literally a giant child. 

a contrast to his bubbly, shiny personality, ilwoo’s parents run a funeral parlour! he’s seen plenty of dead bodies to not be traumatized by it. sometimes, SOMETIMES he would do their make-up. at school, they called him zombie boy. ofc, ilwoo didn’t know he was being bullied && actually likes the name. -___-

need a hypeman? need someone you can call at 3am for support? kang ilwoo is that guy for you! he lives to please others, which may have a negative impact on him… eventually. winkwink. c;

scared of thunder bc he heard the car accident his sister got in && it scarred him. be his security blanket!

that being said, ilwoo isn’t scared of many things bc he’s too dense or too logical (two sides of the spectrum, never in the middle). he’s a firm believer in the paranormal, tho && has plenty of ghost stories (prompt, anyone?) bc his house in busan && the family funeral are haunted af.

wears his heart on his sleeve && falls in love quickly. very sentimental. cries over puppies. kittens. baby rabbits. chicks. movies. any movies. even the shrek movies. 

if you reached the end of this, wow, ilysm! haha. all in all, be ilwoo’s friend or not at all but let him fawn over you bc he’s kang ilwoo, a little dense, a little sentimental, too nice for his own good && has no room to hate (yet… ohoho).

˗ ˏˋ PART ONE of TWO. ˎˊ˗  ━━  here is a compilation of some of yeoreum’s favorite songs from artists based in the united states of america ! she was born in south korea surrounded by her beloved family, but her mother & father had been living in los angeles for about five years before her birth, so almost immediately, they flew back home to raise her in the luminous sunshine. below the cut, you’ll find what each of these nine songs specifically means to yeo. i’ll try to keep it as short & sweet as possible !   X O X O .

+ 13 BEACHES, as performed by LANA DEL REY, from the album LUST FOR LIFE.

essentially, this is a song that reminds yeoreum of her entrance into fame, as well as her loss of all privacy as far as romance is concerned. truly, she’s appreciative of all that she’s able to do now that she’s a p u b l i c  f i g u r e, but she often wonders what her life would be like had she never attended that bc entertainment audition, or had she never accepted her role in WISH. never in a million years had she thought that the girl group she was selected for would be hailed as THE NATION’S GIRL GROUP, so while it makes her happy, it also makes her feel blue. it also reminds her of the love she receives from her supporters. while she ADORES them so much, she often feels uncomfortable when they ( or paparazzi ) stalk her down to take photos, then leave without a word ; as if she’s only a face for them to brag about across SOCIAL MEDIA instead of a human that’s worthy of interaction.

to put it simply, a friend of hers from california showed her this tune the last time she went there to visit with her mother, but now every time that she listens to it, she’s reminded of one particular boy that’s entered her life more recently. ( kim namsoo. ) not only does it have an infectious beat, and a CATCHY CHORUS, but the lyrics convey that of a woman who wanted to live dangerously ; a woman who longed to be remembered as ONE OF THE GREATS —— a rebel with no real cause. however, once she meets a specific person, she begins to question her supposed ‘plans’ to D I E  Y O U N G because she wants to live and be with them until they both grow old and, ideally, die together.

+ LIABILITY, as performed by LORDE, from the album MELODRAMA.

the instant that she heard this song for the first time, she was INSTANTLY reminded of her ex-boyfriend, park jaewon. while the lyrics don’t align perfectly with their relationship, especially how it ended, it’s enough for her to become emotional whenever it plays. it brings her back to that point in time where she was once again a single woman, and in turn, she had to LEARN TO FALL IN LOVE WITH HERSELF. however, in the end, she’s grateful to have learned to be self-reliant, and gentle with herself, more than she’s ever been. it also reminds her of her peculiar fears of being forgotten in the entertainment industry ; over being overshadowed by those that are gaining more attention, but only slightly.

+ RUN AWAY WITH ME, as performed by CARLY RAE JEPSEN, from the album EMOTION.

this is a song that she FELL IN LOVE WITH the instant that she heard it. it’s one that she takes so much inspiration from, and when the time comes that she makes her own solo release, she’ll definitely use this tune as a benchmark for how she’d like her music to sound. additionally, it’s one that A L W A Y S makes her feel good, and reminds her of what it feels like to fall in love with a person for the first time ; how all you wanna do is RUN AWAY with them, and no matter where you end up, it’ll be so worth it because you’re with them. it’s another bop that reminds of her the one and only: kim namsoo.

+ TELL ME YOU LOVE ME, as performed by DEMI LOVATO, from the album TMYLM.

honestly, this was a song that yeoreum only began to like because she LOVED to sing along to it ; the vocals quite complex and right in her pristine upper belt range. it was the perfect go — to after warming up her voice before a show, or during a lesson to strengthen her SET OF PIPES. there’s nothing she loves more than a song she’s able to fall into when singing it, and this just so happens to be one of those to her.

+ CRANES IN THE SKY, as performed by SOLANGE, from the album A SEAT AT THE TABLE.

once again, this is a song that reminds her A LOT of her breakup with park jaewon. during the aftermath of her decision to part ways from him, she kept herself busy with work and other things in order to keep from SENDING HIM A TEXT or GIVING HIM A CALL. feeling helplessly unloved, she decided it would be best to show herself some tlc by purchasing new clothes, changing her hair color, and starting with a C L E A N  S L A T E. however, due to not necessarily allowing herself to feel sad about it, she eventually broke down into tears, the only person there to truly console her was her best friend, chae hyunmi. 

+ KISS IT BETTER, as performed by RIHANNA, from the album ANTI.

late one night, unable to sleep, yeoreum made her way over to one of bc entertainment’s practice rooms —— a lock passcode and key given to her for whenever she needed it. although she’s not the best dancer in all of WISH, she still enjoys it, especially if it’s used to help exhaust her restlessness. after putting her apple music on SHUFFLE, this was the song that came up and she choreographed something to it. she’s never showed this specific creation to A N Y O N E, but she’s extremely proud of it as it’s the first bit of choreo that she came up with in a few hours that fit the content of the song really well.

+ GREEDY, as performed by ARIANA GRANDE, from the album DANGEROUS WOMAN.

much like the song ‘tell me you love me,’ this is one that yeoreum really loves due to its VOCAL COMPLEXITY and sound. it’s one she sings to warm-up her voice, or one she does in lessons when she and her instructor feel like having some fun with key changes. it, again, challenges her upper belt range and head voice, especially when she adlibs bits and pieces to the melody-line. ariana is also one of her favorite artists, and this song happens to be one of the standouts, in her opinion, from her most recent album.

+ DREW BARRYMORE, as performed by SZA, from the album CTRL.

sza is one of yeoreum’s favorite new artists, and whenever she gets the chance, she shows her music to EVERYONE SHE’S CLOSE TO ; wanting to hear their opinions. this song, in particular, is one that she plays the most off of the album, but in general, each and every song on CTRL is one that never, ever skips over. the whole piece of work is one she’s INCREDIBLY INSPIRED by, and she hopes that, whenever she’s given the opportunity to have her own solo release with bc, she could make music as good as sza can.
