Just read the ycyd epilogue it was so good I relapsed smoking, anyways within the epilogue timbert mentioned YN leaving. so like hypothetically because I love to suffer, how would the guys react if YN wanted to break up??

YCYD Brian would probably be pretty understanding, he’s very casual even though he really loves her, he’s very prideful . He would be. So much meaner to her, just like he was during the beginning. Probably just as cold and rude. But he wouldn’t hurt her or any of the other boys.

Tim kind of has the benefit of being the root of the operator, he could (unknowingly) make it so they can’t break up because of the operator (ie they will have to kill her, something bad will happen if they do, etc etc) Hes very protective of their dynamic and would probably freak out but blame it on the operator. He wouldn’t let her leave but he could deal with a break up, albeit badly.

Toby? Well. Let’s just say abuse is cyclical and he is so afraid of abandonment that Dianne trying to break up with him would result in some really impulsive and bad things. Could be anything from, killing Tim or Brian if she was still with them over him, setting the rv on fire, hurting himself really badly, hurting her really badly, killing her, killing himself. It would not end well and I don’t think he could handle actually breaking up with her .

The wide ranges of outcomes is why the ending is super vague because honestly? Anything could have happened. They are all mentally unstable with no medication or help besides eachother and ANYTHING could have happened. They are all very volatile. And especially after the events of the fic they have a lot of pressure on them to not get caught.
