#throwbackthursday goes to the rookie who took 1st place, and 5th overall on #sacshow2016 on her second competition. #doublefeasting 🏆🏆 On my second show I had an idea of what to expect but not really, lol. Well, I was a lil more familiar to what to expect, on how my day was going to be and stage feeling but it's always different this show the girls were already prepping for Nationals so the game was higher however it's always good to face harder situations in life one it shows where you are at and to me that's the only way I drive to be a better me, to bring a better package! Let's make sure I enfatize, don't ever compare yourself to nobody else, it's a unfair comparison, first you don't come from same background regards to fitness level, second, we all have different type of commitment. Bring the best you can always, base yourself one your last package and from there babe it's all you, to me it's #allcakes 🎂🍰 and I don't like one piece I like it all #hungry!!! That's the picture everyone have been waiting... Many people came to me and asked, what the hell you won 1st place in your class and you didn't post a picture or a snap after all?! Well I guess after competing my first competition thought much more than just a number, what I place now might no be what I will be later, so the deal is consistency and for those who can deliver will achieve much more than just a number or placement, it's winning yourself, for that matter, it's way bigger than anything in life! Thank to this sport that I start to appreciate more and more, has thought me so much already, can't wait what the next year has to bring!! Thanks to my family who is always supporting my decisions, my coaches who are my ground backing me up with the best diet plan and work out, all my friends, my team and my sponsors, nothing would be possible without all your help, I am very thankful for all of you and very grateful for my achievement which was what I aimed for, better myself on my last placement at least in one of the classes I entered, being Sacramento only added up to the feeling, is most def #cloud9. I don't really remember how it all went down, I came from sports, gymnastics was in my life for about 12 years, swimming, ballet, did all sports my current bfs were on it at the time, from jiu jitsu to surfing, started my gym obsession when I was 16 and from there I never stopped. Coming from sports I can affirm competition is a word which drives me and keeps me going, competing, gives me a trill, nothing else have really taken the same roll in my life. Exactly 3 years ago I found myself bored and wanting to challenge myself, thats when I decided to go into my first bikini competition, at that time I knew to get out of depression and to build myself back again I needed to go back to the gym, work out to be able to feel better inside and out, the reason I say, is cuz I truly believe inside first, everything else just reflects outside, it just happens naturally. Its safe to say, that when you feel good inside you reflect outside, and at that point I needed to build my confidence back besides making myself stronger mentally. Thats when I ran into @camile_periat and joined @team_pulse, so far the smartest and best decision I made, Camile stepped into my life and since than I'm sure would be pointless to say or preach when you all can see thru these months my body transforming right before your eyes, this woman became to me a reflection of what I am aiming to be, she is not only my coach, but my best friend, psychologist, mom, right hand, she is my ground and at this point in my life and in the beginning of my fitness career I can affirm you are more than essential in order for me to keep achieving my goals and conquering them. I have said once, going to say it again, nothing would be possible without your amazing coaching skills, you help me build a strong foundation and I would not have done it without you.
