Captivating Elegance: A Majestic Leopard's Stroll
A Leopard making its way through the bush in South Africa.
South Africa In the heart of the iconic Sabi Sands Game Reserve, near Umkumbe Bush Lodge, a scene of untamed beauty unfolds as a majestic leopard takes its elegant stride through the lush South African bush. The dappled sunlight filters through the dense foliage, casting a golden hue upon the leopard’s sleek coat, adorned with captivating rosettes. Every movement exudes a sense of purpose and…

Fairly recently I found out that this cub was given the name Sparta. A coincidence, considering there was once an iconic pride of lions in Sabi Sands, South Africa that went by the same name. Like Sparta the Eurasian cave lion, the Sparta Pride is now also extinct: the last female cub died in June 2021. She presumably starved to death as she was too young to hunt on her own after losing her mother.

Another photo of the newly discovered Eurasian cave lion cub.
Notice how the fur ranges in color, there’s some more darker patches on the head (perhaps around the ears?) while the core is more pale/tawny.

Youthful Innocence by Xenedis Via Flickr: The hyena is an animal that has an undeserved bad reputation, and is seemingly considered the 'bad guy' of Africa. In reality, it is a highly intelligent and evolved species, which, like all other fauna, is simply trying to survive and thrive, and is critical to the ecosystem. There is a certain cuteness about hyena cubs such as this one. Even though the hyena is an apex predator, scavenger and enemy of the big cats, it is an interesting and valuable species which is great to observe and photograph.

Loving the mental image of Sabi literally falling onto Gaeric's back out of nowhere when she wants to play. He's, like, bent over and pulling sand radishes out of the ground, or something, and she just *FWUMP* falls onto him.
He tries to pull her off and she twists around like the slippery kid she is to avoid being pulled away. It's like trying to wrangle a snake.
Gaeric finally manages to pull her off and holds her out, dangling by her hood, asking what in Sinnoh's Space she wants now.
To be thrown into the air. Uppies, she wants uppies, basically.
"Pleeeeeeeeeease, Gaeric?" she asks, giving him the biggest, shiniest, cutest eyes that are more irresistible than the pleading eyes Lord Avalugg's baby Bergmite give him when they want cuddles.
Fine, he'll toss her around -- gently -- but only if she helps him pick up the radishes he dropped when she fell on him.
She proceeds to gather them up and then take off, effectively roping him into a game of chase.
Absolute shenanigans.

My first time riding a plane! Sobrang surreal nung pakiramdam lalo nung mataas na tas kitang-kita na yung clouds. Parang ang sarap nila kagatin kasi muka talaga silang soft and fluffy pero at the same time muka silang kettle korn? Hahahaha. Solid yung chicken halang-halang na first time ko natikman.

My airport fit na medyo seventeen themed. Ahahaha. Ahahaha. Lahat may daliri nya eh. Before flight ko lang rin kinabit yung pins and keychains na binili ko sa tiktok tapos medyo kabado pa ako kase may pagka-clumsy talaga ako baka kung san sya tumalsik o ano pero buti naman at kumpleto pa sila til now.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Super conscious at paranoid yarn? May direct flight daw kasi from busan to tagbilaran kaya ganun pero nakakaloka talaga.
Ahahaha. Tamad na tamad pa talaga ako pero feel ko pag pinagpabukas ko pa to eh lalo lang akong tatamarin, kaya ttry ko na lang rin siguro magpost once a day para di ganun ka-taxing. Ahahaha. Awuw. Sana makabalik ako sa bohol talaga.
