India - Pakistan, on the Verge of Participating SAARC Summit in U.S

Earlier SAARC summit scheduled in Islamabad was cancelled in view of pre-pondered terror attacks on India. Both, India and Pakistan were expected that the participation have been confirmed for their respective Foreign Ministers - level meeting of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC), Summit, to be held in New York on September 26, the diplomatic sources have confirmed the enlarged expectation of the entire sub-continent. The meeting has been remained on track despite the state of tension between the two countries. The Diplomatic source have communicated with both India and Pakistan informally and formally on,whether they would proceed with the planned meeting of SAARC, on September 26 in New York and both the Countries have communicated that, there is no change in the previous plans of their participation for the Summit, Diplomatic source Confirmed. The meeting is an annual affair that takes place on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly  session. It will be the Turning-Point occasion on September 26, as the Foreign Ministers of both the Countries would be engaged for in a Combined Conclave, since August 5, this Year. India had Diplomatically confirmed the participation of  it's External Affairs Minister S.Jaishankar, for the Summit. On Thursday India remained Pakistan to voice down the rhetoric and urged Pakistan to behave like a normal neighbour.

India won't attend SAARC Summit in Pakistan: Sushma Swaraj

Until Pakistan stops sponsoring terrorism, India won't have any dialogue with Islamabad and won't attend SAARC summit, said Sushma Swaraj, External Affairs Minister. Modi will be invited by Pakistan to attend the summit. The 2016 summit that was to be held at Pakistan was cancelled because India boycotted. Sushma Swaraj said that talks and terror cannot go together. She added that India is welcoming the development of the Kartarpur corridor for Sikh pilgrims, But until Islamabad stops sponsoring terrorism there won't have any dialogue between it.
