sorry. they kill her while her younger self is unconscious behind them. and the ending has lots to say about amy's lack of agency when it comes to the doctor and rory. but also like. we couldve had amy being forced to make the choice to leave her behind. just for fun. could you kill the version of yourself that spent decades surviving. could you kill the version of yourself that proves that, despite how much you love them, you could live without the two people closest to you. could you kill the version of yourself that got old and lonely and bitter but still lived. i think amy probably could. but it would be bad.
