Honestly the fact that even in 7 scenes both of them got my attention itself. They have the potential to be the greatest couple in obx. Think about it, a psychotic, morally grey man yet has been never loved enough to show him the right direction, a classist guy who presumes to look down upon his people (i dont fully believe it butt) and then BOOM he meets this girl, a sweet sweet girl whos a Pogue but sees him as just as a guy, not as the monster everyone sees him to be and even he knows that there is something wrong with him yet she sees past all through that shit yk. Throughout s1 and s2 rafe kept telling that he wants to change and he wants to quit coke and kept saying "Im not ok" yet his dad just said "Man up" but when actually someone listened to him and loves him and believes in him, he actually took the effort to change, like s4 rafe actually did nothing but mind his own business and try taking care of his girlfriend.

And call me weird but that is so romantic like whats not to love about a very very good girl x a bad boy. I hate that the pates didnt take the time to show how rafe changed because of sofia. i mean he basically quit coke, is actually trying to build shit and wants to start a family. LIKE S2 RAFE COULD NEVER. Sofia pushes him to be a better person and not like those kooks who love him for their money. Thats why i hate his words to ruthie cuz she never saw him as a kook yk. And clearly rafe wants to take care of her for the rest of his life yk. He wants to be a provider AND THATS MAKING ME FEEL THINGSSS

And their banter and tension too like hello, they always flirting like nobodys there. LIKE I WANT FOUR MORE SEASONS OF THAT SHIT. And theres always this sexual tension between them like should we give a room or sumnn. I love that we got to see drew and fiona absolutely deliver an amazing yet delicate relationship yk. If only I was in the writers room....

I mean yeah....my final panel originally looked like this...but then I decided not to include it cause I'm not sure what I'll write yet. The aim was to make her a long term character I guess so she can't die and do that. I hope this is a genuine comment and you're not just trolling. I can imagine her snooping the morning after finding something she shouldn't and getting dragged into the boat drama.

hiiiii you're my first official request (beside the AO3 comment section). let me rustle something up...I have an alternative timeline where nat is a rebound for sofia and I also have a flashback from my canon rafia fic that i don't mind sharing. maybe I'll do both.

in all honesty even though they tell us s1 to s3 are only a few months apart rafe changed heaps. I think s1 rafe would've been a dick to her.
