Macaque and Jaaku from behind are trying to kill each other over the last donut on the box. Macaque is the first of the palettes who is the NE-B Parasite that somehow have a body of her master, Hsien-Ko. Her clothing and color patterns are an oddish burgundy with whitesh white. Her appendages stomp the ground as she's prepare to devour Jaaku and her chi.

Jaaku, the youngest of the palettes is a half horror and half jiangsho created by Jedah as a perfect weapon against Hsien-Ko and all who opposed him long before the T-Erebus outbreak shockingly and her color palettes on her dress are black and red. She's twirling those twisted sickles together as she too is preparing to make the parasite bleed.

While that's going the bionic clone of the original Hsien-Ko S.I.N.-KO and Junior are just watching the sky above. S.I.N.-KO like Jaaku is a bionic super weapon made by the BSAA to eliminate Hsien-Ko but she went rogue and start her own path. As usual she is among the more docile of the palettes and her palettes are strange, blue on the sleeves and white and hold yellow on the rest of her clothes. Junior had also become a new pallete herself due to age but despite being a teenager now she still have child like innocence and is thinking about fruit.

Day-1: I guess the first thing to do is give a slight rundown of what I’ve done so far which isn’t much, mostly story and lore development with very little overall spriting or making, but here are a collection of the sprites so far. As you can see it’s very little which is why I’m trying this. As you can see I’ve chosen an artstyle that i think is both easy to make sprites for while remaining striking, the badness of the sprites is part of the style so I can rush them for the sake of getting stuff done, and I like how it looks.

Street fighter characterization tip 2: the "failgirl" juri personality isn't what she really acts like, just as her being an "insane broken unfixable dommy mommy" isn't even her true self either. She Is An Onion With Layers:

-layer 1 is Scary Insane Dommy Mommy Who Will Break Your Bones and Intestines

-layer 2 is Cringefail Failgirl Who's Too Dumb To Even Clean Her Room Or Remember To Eat Beyond Eating Froot Loops Breakfast Bars

-layer 3 is an absolutely traumatized mess who believes she's inherently unfixable due to trauma from her parents' deaths (especially her father's, who was probably the only one in juri's likely fundamentalist Christian upbringing due to the history of South Korea re: Christianity and colonization, and probably her father being more light on juri and her attempts to express queer/futch androgyny and gender nonconformity and imo nonbinary bisexual sapphism and orbisianism and enbianism, but her mother being more invested in juri's gender conformity judging by the "their perfect little princess" comment, which has connotations of Le Mommy Issues) and a belief that she's inherently broken and Will Never Be Herself because she believes her true self is disgusting and worthless and likely having body image issues because she doesn't believe anything, from weight gain to weight loss to muscle gain to a boob job to a breast reduction to S.I.N. freaky body mods, will make her love herself

In short please give juri some low dose t and teach her that it's okay to use it/its pronouns and neo pronouns it'll be so much happier for this

Overall Rating, 8.5/10. Originally I wanted to do this post on the 18th. Jonathan Davis' birthday but because I was too lazy, admittedly I missed it. I at least listened to this album on his birthday. But anyways good album. Probably my least favorite of the three Korn albums so far but doesn't mean it's bad at all. Favorite Song(s):

The Downward Spiral - Nine Inch Nails

Overall Rating, 4.5/10. Honestly just didn't really like them. I can see why someone would like them, but it just ain't my style really. I wanted to like them because NIN comes from my region of Pennsylvania but I'm not one to be biased based on location. NIN is like Marilyn Manson but without the violence and aggression that makes Manson, Manson.

No More Tears - Ozzy Osbourne

Overall Rating, 8.5/10. I recently finished an Ozzy Osbourne biography so I think that enhanced my opinion on this album knowing the story behind it. It's hard for Ozzy Osbourne to not be good. Favorite Song(s):

Danzig II: Lucifuge - Danzig

Overall Rating, 7/10. It's Danzig. Not much more to say. Similar to the first album but a little more serious, straying further from the I suppose "horror" and theme of Misfits and doing like I said something a little more serious. Juri Han.

"Juri... That power... That eye... She's no ordinary fighter. She is an untamed animal who seeks to destroy and consume all that enters her sight...She has altered her own body in her insatiable quest for power. She respects no law. No morality. She does whatever it takes to achieve her goals and quench her limitless thirst."

Introduced in 2011's Super Street Fighter IV, she was sold as a darker parallel of Chun Li. She's quickly become a favorite of the fanbase, and myself personally. There is something strangely compelling about her and her story. A lot of people don't really care about it so i'll go into it! On my blog!

While you are familiar with the Juri you see in game, she wasn't always like that. Juri Han was the daughter to a loving mother and father. The latter being a prominent lawyer knee deep into a developing case against shadaloo. M. Bison didn't take this lightly. So one fateful night, he ordered them killed. They took her father, and left both her and her mother for dead. Young Juri lost her eye to the hail of bullets.

As she recovered, and after her father was executed on live television, she focused her remaining eye on one thing. Revenge against M. Bison. She became much colder and crueler throughout the process. Later in Street Fighter IV, she would join S.I.N, and claim the Feng Shui Engine. A powerful device that amplifies her physical abilities to superhuman levels.

Similar to Ryu, Juri seeks battle. But unlike him, she does it for much more selfish reasons. She is extremely sadistic, deriving joy from causing others pain through fighting. She enjoys fighting so much to the point where she is offended when denied it. With a short temper and a questionable mental state, that's not a good thing to be around. She's also very cunning as she is morally grey. She dips in between heroics and villain behavior from time to time. The ying/yang symbol behind the character makes more sense now, no?

Street Fighter V's story actually progressed the story and world to the point where shadaloo falls, with M. Bison's death. Before this, she attempted to fight M. Bison and lost. He even ripped out her eye (Feng Shui Engine) and left her for dead. She survived, and found herself a weaker version of the engine, implanting it herself (ow?). In a Shadow Falls she doesn't really do much. She serves as a side character mostly. Assisting the good guys because it'll bring Bison down. Ryu is the one to eventually defeat M. Bison. Not Juri. You can tell that she's weaker then on due to her abilities appearing grey in 5 and 6.

In 6, her parallel to Chun Li takes the most importance. Chun Li has found complete peace with Bison's death. She wears brighter colors, took some time off from being a cop and is found teaching her local community. Her peace is reflected in her design and writing. She's made it! Juri? At this point, with nothing to do, she... doesn't do much. She's always on her phone, uses her feet for everything cause she's lazy, and eats a lot of junk food. Without a goal she's been loafing around, causing trouble whenever she gets the chance. It's very sad to see. She's allowed her quest for revenge to consume her completely, and now that Bison is gone, she doesn't have much left.

At the end of both of their arcade stories, Chun Li says that she is one of Bison's victims too. This gets through to her, angers her, and the two end up fighting.

At this point in the story, Juri is at another crossroads. It's like we're watching her slowly die from the inside. She has opportunity to turn her life around, and it looks like we're finally on the cusp of that, but she can continue to slip further and further into depravity. It's all up to her (& the writers).

Now that you know this, you can get that all of her cruelty and snarkiness is how she copes with what she truly is within. A mess. The development team for Street Fighter IV wanted to make an evil sexy character that stuck out from the rest and ended up making one of the most compelling & tragic characters i've seen from a fighting game. She's one of my favorites, and i hope to see things look up for her at some point. Whatever that looks like to her.

Sometimes I used to think heaven and hell was a point based system, and you’d like have the good points, and the negative points. And that’s how I used to process the concept of sin and stuff. But then I started to wonder if there would be bonus modifiers. Like, would it be more efficient to farm S.I.N. points by being racist/hating one group in particular, or by hating everyone? Would you get more or less points for getting a whole family by driving into them? Would you lose good points if you were thinking about good points? But anyways I stopped doing that, but it’s still a silly little thing I think about time to time. Just wondering if anybody else has any silly little things they did as a kid that were a bit goofy.
